Reference Implementation: Cannot find flashaccess-refimpl.properties

[ Problem ]
I’ve just downloaded the latest drop of Flash Access. I have created a new project in Eclipse so that i can make changes to the reference implementation. When i access the following URL from a browser:
http://localhost:8080/flashaccess/license/v1
I get an error: "Could not find server properties". The following line of code in "RefImplAbstractReqHandlerServer.java" cannot find the server properties files:
InputStream propsInputStream = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().getResourceAsStream(propertiesFileName);
I have added the "resources" directory that contains flashaccess-refimpl.properties to my classpath. But i still get the same error.
I’m guessing i have missed something. Does anyone have any suggestions to how i can overcome this error?
[ Solution ]
I am assuming you were adding the "resource" directory into the "classpath" by
project property -> Java Build Path -> add class folder. This way, the resource directory is just not with the web container’s classpath.
With Eclipse IDE, when i go this way, it works.
1. go to "Run" -> Run Configuration ->"Apache Tomcat"( I am using tomcat)
2.  select the Server Instance you are running the refimpl
3. click the "classpath" tab
4. in the "User entries" add the resource folder by "advanced->add folder"
Then, restart the refimpl.

Hi 高麻雀,
You can edit the properties of configuration baselines and configuration items only if they were created at the same Configuration Manager site. The icons will have a lock symbol, and you can view their properties but not edit them in the following circumstances:
They have been imported from Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Configuration Packs.
They have been imported from an external source, such as the Configuration Manager 2007 communities.
They have been imported from another Configuration Manager 2007 hierarchy.
They have been authored externally and then imported.
They have been inherited by a parent site in the same Configuration Manager 2007 hierarchy.
Solution
Although this behavior is by design, you can modify imported data in the following ways: Refer the below link for details:
Problems Editing Configuration Data -->: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb633142.aspx

    Hi,
    FieldPoint Explorer is no longer used to configure FieldPoint systems. However, I do not think that the configuring your system in FieldPoint Explorer is causing the error.
    FieldPoint systems are now setup in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).  Information on setting up FieldPoint systems in MAX can be found in the MAX help under: Installed Products>> FieldPoint. Also, I recommend upgrading to the latest FieldPoint driver and version of MAX.  The FieldPoint VI's will be slightly different when you upgrade, so there is a good chance that this will eliminate the error.

    This sounds odd - I don't see how compiling an Oracle procedure would help .NET to locate an assembly - you're not trying to run an assembly inside Oracle are you?
    Tell is more about what you're trying to do. If this is just a common program that is running on a server and trying to connect to Oracle, it sounds like ODP is not installed on the computer that is running this code. You should see Oracle.DataAccess in the GAC.

  • "The system cannot find the file specified" - error reading properties file

    I have packaged a class file and a .properties file in the same folder as a ejb-jar file and in the class file i try reading the properties file and it throws me the error - "The system cannot find the file specified". But when I put the complete path, it has no problem finding the file.
    I know that this must be the problem with classpath, but can anybody tell me why it is not finding the properties file even if they are in the same folder. How do I make class files find .properties file which are in a folder.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    I am not sure if your question is realted to the Oracle Application Server - anyway, if you are packaging a class file and a properties file in a JAR File, you need to read the contents in a different manner...something like this... :
    URL url = new URL("jar:file:/home/duke/duke.jar!/");
    JarURLConnection jarConnection = (JarURLConnection)url.openConnection();
    You might want to have a look at this link for more information :

  • Startup error: ldaprealm.properties (The system cannot find the file specified)

    Hello,
    I'm starting WebLogic from JBuilder 3.5; before using the LDAP realm
    everything worked fine.
    After adding the following entry to the weblogic.properties file
    weblogic.security.realmClass=weblogic.security.ldaprealm.LDAPRealm
    the WLS states following error message:
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: ldaprealm.properties (The system cannot
    find the file specified)
    The ldaprealm.properties file is located in the WL_HOME dir (same location
    as weblogic.properties)
    I've start WLS with -Duser.dir=c:\weblogic, but it didn't affect my problem.
    When starting WLS with startWebLogic.cmd, everything works fine but no
    practicalbe for me,
    because I've to start in form JBuilder in order to enable remote debugging.
    Thanx for your help in advance,
    Michael

    ldaprealm.properties has to be in %WinDir%\System32 to be picked up by a WLS 5.1 server run as a service and LDAPRealm enabled.
    Still getting interesting LDAP errors, but the file is being picked up on startup.

  • Error: ldaprealm.properties (The system cannot find the file specified)

    Hi,
    I'm getting the following error message when starting up WLS
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: ldaprealm.properties
    (The system cannot find the file specified)
    This seems to me as if ldaprealm.properties isn't in the
    proper place/dir.
    The docu tells me to put it to WL_HOME - and there
    it resides.
    I cannot start WLS with the startWebLogic.cmd file (which
    alway works fine), because I'm forced to do it via JBuilder.
    Maybe someone can tell me a property to change the
    startup dir (-Duser.dir=c:\weblogic doesn't work)
    thanx in advance,
    Michael

  • Cannot find edqp.properties file, can I just create it manually?

    I would like to establish a connection between my EDQ and EDQP instances, both 11g versions. I understand OEDQ server must be configured first so the EDQP processor will appear in the EDQ Tool Palette section. EDQ Online Help says that the 'edqp.properties' file must be created in the [install path]/config/edqp directory. However I cannot find [install path]/config/edqp directory. Instead in My Oracle Support it says that 'In EDQ 11g, the edqp.properties file belongs in the "..oedq_local_home/edqp" folder. When I checked "..oedq_local_home", there is no 'edqp' there. Can I just create the 'edqp' folder inside the "..oedq_local_home" directory?  Then can I also just manually create the 'edqp.properties' file afterwards? When I am done creating them all manually, do I need to bounce my EDQ server to reflect these changes? Thanks in advance for any reply!

    Yes, just create the folder and file in the local home.

  • Error: cannot find symbol implements..

    I have an interface and I'm trying to implement.
    package data_structures;
    public interface ListADT<E> extends Iterable<E> {
    //Method Signatures
    and
    package data_structures;
    public class LinkedListDS<E> implements ListADT<E> {

    And when I try to compile the class I get
    LinkedListDS.java:3 error: cannot find symbol
    public class LinkedListDS<E> implements ListADT<E> {
    ____________________________________^
    symbol: class ListADT
    And I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here or what exactly Java wants me to do to correct this error.

    What are you using to compile?  If the command line, and not an IDE which will do this for you, then compile the interface, first.

  • Error while using custom xslt: Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix 'ScriptNS0'.

    Hi,
    We had a complex map. Because of some requirement, we used custom xslt on this map. Somehow at runtime that custom xslt is giving below error:
    Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix 'ScriptNS0'.
    I checked below links, it seems this is a bug in Biztalk 2010/Visual stuio 2010.
    http://sandroaspbiztalkblog.wordpress.com/2012/07/29/biztalk-mapper-patterns-calling-an-external-assembly-from-custom-xslt-in-biztalk-server-2010/
    The above link suggest to add a xml element in the .btm file. I tried that as well but no luck. Can anyone suggest me reason and solution for this?
    Thanks, Girish R. Patil.

    When using the Custom XSLT option, you have to maintain the Extension Xml yourself, just as you would for inline custom Xslt that calls external Assemblies.

  • Unable to resolve reference/Cannot find Canvas

    Hi,
    I have generated a form with Designer 6i. It has 3 tabs. On the second or third tab, when I diminish the width property of a BOUND TEXT ITEM , I get 2 error messages one after the other :
    - FRM-40105. Unable to resolve reference to item <item name>. ...
    - FRM-41053. Cannot find Canvas--invalid ID.
    If the width is equal or bigger than its original value, it works fine. As soon as I change the value to a smaller one, it doesn't work anymore.
    Any help would be appreciated,
    Denise

    Hi,
    When you reference an item using:
    set_item_property(<varchar2 field>, ...)
    you should format the item name as:
    'BLOCKNAME.ITEMNAME';
    For example, set_item_property('NCP.B', enabled, property_true);
    The colon is only used when you actually want the value of the item.
    I can't remember, but this might be case sensitive too - so use uppercase.
    Cheers
    Chris

  • Cannot find Display State Iview Properties

    Dear all,
    While trying to create home page, I look IView properties and find a great setting Display State.
    The problem is I cannot find this parameter in my URL IView properties.
    I use EP 6 SP13.
    Thanks for help.

    Hi Beata,
    first let us clarify some wording:
    A <i>PAR</i> is a <i>Portal ARchive</i>. It is a zip in a certain format. It contains a <i>portal application</i>.
    A <i>portal application</i> consists of <i>components</i> and/or <i>services</i>.
    An <i>iView</i> is somehow an "instance" of a <i>component</i>. It is created within the portal. There are <i>no iViews in a PAR</i> (like: "There are no objects in a JAR (but classes).").
    With this in mind, the question is if there really exist an iView with the name you are looking for.
    What you see under Portal Runtime Tools is the application with it's components. Anyhow, the default properties of an iView or the properties of a component if called without packaged within an iView are the ones defined within portalapp.xml of the corresponding application.
    But if you change values in there, the changes are somewhat "global", so you should be sure if the component in question is called via an iView or just "as the component".
    The location of the portalapp.xml is under \usr\sap\<...>\JC<...>\j2ee\cluster\server<...>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\<appName>\portalapp.xml
    Hope it helps
