Refresh the table

Hi experts,
My requirement is delete the files from the KM itself.I have stored the list of files under the Km in particular folder(path)
I have a following code.
I have table with checkbox and delete button. when ever select the check box(single selection or muliple selection). the file should be deleted from the KM. but does not remove from the table. how can i remove the selected item from the table and how can i refresh the table. please help me its very urgent..

Let me do some summarize if my understanding is correct
1. Use a timer as "start" point of a table view, set the "interval" to be 0.05 minute
2. use the condition in the timer with a formula (BOOL(STORE@RETURN_CODE==0)).
3. If I trigger one event in the "table view", for example, a "Delete" event and it will return the result RETURN_CODE = 0 to datastore
4. Afterwards, if the time interval of the timer has been reached, 1st it will evaluate the value of the datastore and decide whether to refresh the table view.
Am I right?
Just as you mentioned before, it is not a perfect solution, as we may still wait for the timer to be triggered after a few seconds.

Hi,
define a value of the ID property of the button. Set the same value to the PartialTrigger property of the table (or if this doesn't do it, to the surrounding af:form element)

hi hema........
    if you are using a select query inside the supply function...
    then...
    you can just use node->invalidate(). method..
    it just invalidates the node that is bound to the table.
   so the supply function will be called again, which again uses the select query to fetch the values.. so that your table gets refreshed.

Refresh the table after closing the Popup iView

I have list of survey in my table. In that table i have toolbar button(DELETE) for deleting the survey. While deleting the survey it asks the confirmation. If we click Ok it delete the selected survey and close the popup also. what I want is I should refresh the table after closing the Popup.How can i achieve this?

In this blog, they are used 'Refresh' Button and a Hidden 'Plain text' message to solve this problem. If you are satisfy with this you can take this solution.
Or you can try to trigger the 'Submit' action of 'Input form' once again from the 'Popup window' when the 'Delete' button is clicked.

How to refresh the table control

hi experts,
i used bapi to update the changes made in data of table control in modulepool.
like i changed serial number and short text of equipment . now when
i simultaneously go for transaction ie02 i,e equipment change in another session with table control open in other session , and now i changed data of particular equipment number in ie02 , now when i use refresh button in table control that change should be affected. how would be the logic for the refresh button
when i use the refresh button in the table control , screen should be refreshed or filled with updated data. so what is the flow and logic for that.

How to refresh the table after change value in the VO programatically?

Hi,
I like to update my table by using a popup. My problem is that the table does not refresh after I change the value in the table's VO by the popup.
There is another table in the popup, and the popup is triggered by a command button. An af:showPopupBehavior is nested in the button. The method of the button in backing bean is as following,

kind of a shame that after so many years of ADF the message that updates should be through the binding layer hasn't gone through ;-)
You change the underlying business service, which doesn't impact the binding layer the way you do it. So here is what you can try in the same order
- 1. RequestContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(<table reference>)
- 2. If 1. doesn't show the changed data, try and re-execute the iterator that is the base of the table. If this works then the effect you see is caused because you ignore using the binding layer

Refresh the table definition

I changed the primary key of a table and tried refreshing the same in Sunopsis using Reverse option. It showed two primary keys i.e. both the old and the new one.
I have read in forum that the 'Reverse' is an incremental method and so we have to manually delete if something is removed. So, I tried deleting the old primary key, but it resulted in error 'SNPW.FK_POP5 violated'.
I tried deleting those records in the SNP_POP table in work repository (SNPW), but it lead to a loop of such foriegn key constraints (and table list extends like SNP_STEP, SNP_SOURCE_TAB etc).
At last I had no choice except to delete the changed table in all the interface, and deleted the respective datastore in the model, and add that table as new one and recreated the interface. This is a lengthy and cumbersome process.
Please let me know step by step procedure to alter the table if any of its constraint key got changed. Thanks.

It is a fact that ODI wont delete any data model change.
To drop old values open the column (for instance) tree and look if it is using at some place ("Used in" option at tree)
If it is used, go to the object and "delete" the use. It will allow you to drop any ODI object.

Is it possible to refresh the table from a Materialized view

Is it possible to update the underlying table on which a Materialized view is created when some changes in a Materialized view is done.Is this reverse compatibility possible in Materialized View?

If you created the materialized view as UPDATEABLE then changes to it should automatically be relected in the underlying table. If this is not occurring I suggest you check the replication jobs. You probably have a stack of errors in DEFERROR.

How to refresh the list of select one choice which is inside a table?

Hello I am using Jdeveloper Version 11.1.2.1.0.
The table is a normal table that is made to look like a treeTable.
For some rows are or can be parents with Parent_vo_group_id = null and other are children with parent_vo_group_id = vo_group_id of the parent...
If a children changes its parent_vo_group_id to null it can become a parent as well.
I am having a select one choice inside a table column. The list comes from the same table with column Name:

Deleting the Row from the table is not refreshing the contents in the form

We developed a table and form in the same UI based on the following suggestion.
Display and edit currently selected row of ADF Table in ADF Form
1. Created one view object based on the employees table.
2. dragged the view object to the UI as table.
3. dragged the view object as form.
4. set partial triggers on the form's container (panelformlayout) as tableId.
Tested the application with the edit options and everything is working fine. But the problem comes when we delete the record from table. it is not refreshing the form based on the newly selected row after deleting the record. If we commit the data the form contents are updated to the selected row (which is not desired).
Can you please suggest how to fix the issue, refreshing the form with the selected row after deleting the records.

The Code snippet looks fine. I think, the issue is in the partial trigger setting
4. set partial triggers on the form's container (panelformlayout) as tableId.In order to the table to get refreshed, the table's partialTriggers property should be set to id of the delete Button.
Go to table, select partialTriggers in the Property Inspector, Click on Expression Builder at the right and select the delete Button.
Can you set this and check?

Problem in refreshing the data of the UI element Table

Hi Experts,
I am having a problem.
I have a screen which displays list of variants in table ( variant name , variant desc )
I am binding the entries of table in WDDOINIT method.
but when i go back to selection screen view and come back to display variants view, WDDOINIT is not triggering.
Now if i move the code written in WDDOINIT method to WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, its not retaining the lead selection as the binding happens on every server round trip. if i check with First_time = 'X'. its same as that of having it in WDDOINIT method.
How do i overcome this problem of refreshing the table data.
any clue is highly appreciated.

call method of this custom controller

how to delete particular row in table control .consider we r having three rows i wish to delete the third row.while on debugging the third row gets deleted successfully.but that is displayed in table control.then how to refresh the table control...
