Reg : data required for the fields to be filled

Hi all,
From a non sap system a purchase order is coming to sap system where the sales order is getting created .Standard SAP IDOC Message type: ORDERS (EDI-850)
Standard SAP IDOC type: ORDERS05
but for the sap idoc type orders05 the segments need to be filled up .such as E1EDKT1/E1EDKT2, E1EDK02 QUALF: '001' ,E1EDK14 QUALF: '005' ,E1EDK03 IDDAT: '022' and many other segments are there .in each segment there are several fields .i need to fill these fields and click on standarad inbound and see if sales order is getting created or not . thanx in advance ............

Hi Experts,
I have an infoobject ZPOSITION which i am using in a cube for this i can able to display key values but i want to display text for this ZPOSITION. The source for this field is Position(PLANS) which i have tacken from pa0001 table.
I have an another infoobject 0HRPOSITION for this i have already loaded data using data source 0HRPOSITION_TEXT.
Is there any other text datasources for this field Position(PLANS)?
And
Is it possible to load data from one info object to another info object?

Hi Sridhar,
Check out in the infotype PA0001 for the check table for this field. In this table you will have the description for the field PLANS (Position).
I request you to catch hold of functional HR team member to know where the text value for the Position (PLANS) is stored. You can get the info from them immeadiatly.
After knowing the table where the text values for Position (PLANS) are stored, you have to create a text datasource using RSO2 transaction and replicate in BW and load data from the R/3 table.

Throwing error when loading_If no data found for the field

Hi,
How can we introduce an error trap for the two characteristics COMPANYCODE and COSTCENTER. If it finds no data for these two chars, theload has to fail and produse error message for the records.
Can anybody send me the code and how to implement the logic.

Hi You can try this sample code..and correct the fields accordinly..
In the Update rules : write the following code for each IO.
For Company Code------
IF COMM_STRUCTURE-COMPCODE IS INITIAL.
    ABORT = 1.
ELSE.
    RESULT = COMM_STRUCTURE-COMPCODE .
ENDIF.
For Cost Centre------
IF COMM_STRUCTURE-COSCTCNTR IS INITIAL.
    ABORT = 1.
ELSE.
    RESULT = COMM_STRUCTURE-COSCTCNTR.
ENDIF.
Also check the Abort - pre defined values in order to handle the errors effectively.

Check the Data length for the fields in the mapping

I need to check for the data length of the below fields in mapping. And if any of the field lengh does not match with the given length then I discard the data and trigger a mail
X1_LENGTH = 9

PrjDesc_LENGTH = 50

Hi,
You can use following approach:
- Create UDF for length analysis and raise exception if length is not accurate Use lenght() method of string.
CheckLength(Field, Length)
If Field.lenght() >= Length then raise mapping exception
Use Alert to capture this and send mail.
- Use Enum while defining datatype to reject data at source (in adapter engine). Again use Alerts to send mail.

i m trying 2 get the transparent table name and field name for LEVEL NO field which is present in tcode MB56 (30F VERSION). I am getting the details in technical info 1. structure is AM07M & field name is CUSTFE. can any guide how 2 get transparent table for the level no field.
but as of release 4.7 the field name is EXPANSION LEVEL(TCODE MB56 ).
here also i m not getting the transparent table corresponding to EXPANSION LEVEL field.
it would be great help if i can get assistance in this issue.

How to change the data type in the table ESLL for the field USERF2_NUM ?

Hello Friends,
I have a requirement in which one of the change is to convert the data type of the field 'USERF2_NUM' in the table 'ESLL' from 'QUAN' to 'CHAR'.
How do i do it if i have an access to change it..........i think i should also check the impact of the change if done.

1. Is it ok to change the data type of the field 'USERF2_NUM ' which is in the table ESLL. from quan to char.
2. The table ESLL already has entries. if we change the data type from QUAN to CHAR what is the effect on the existing entries of the table .

Invalid date format for 'Created' field in the getVersions web service Response.

I am trying to get all versions for selected document by calling getVersions method Versions.asmxweb service, but getting ‘Created’ date attribute value is in the format "29-05-2012 12:01"
but I am expecting either one of the following date formats.
1.      yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss or yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssz
2.      MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm a   (a means AM/PM)
3.      MM/dd/yyyy
4.      yyyyMMdd HH:mm:ss
where do I need to change?
what are all the formate will be support by SharePoint?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to change date format for ‘Created’ field in the getVersions web service.
Per my knowledge, you can get the date format for ‘Created’ field as “MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm a”.

Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching.

Hello all,
I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.

-You have create template with angle range and what type of pattern matching you want use.
-For this you have to use IMAQ Learn Pattern before using IMAQ Match Pattern 4

actually my client want to change the payment term for all the vendor invoices.so wt we did is... we created aprogram to change the old payment term to new payment term in the vendor line items(fbl1n).
when we run the program its changing the payment term and the base line date and the NO of days in the vendor linitems.but it not changing the net due date based on the new baseline date.
i think with out changing the net due date only changing the payment term is use less.coz the item again show as due in the same date.
so how can we change the net due date based on the new baseline date.?from which table we can take the field FAED and update with the new date.

The same script worked for me in vision (R12.1). You may have issues with your defaulting of a number of attributes that you are not passing in the API (like price list, line type and so on). You may want to check them.

I don't think that you will find GBSTK in any master data source. It is however available in 2LIS_11_VASTH.

We have a Z tcode for converting planned order to purchase requisition.
We use Account assignment P - Project and A - Asset.
We have WBS element and fund center linked to it.
For the Z tcode while converting Planned order to purchase requisition we are getting below error
Error: Entry in field Funds Center required; check the field control Msg No.FMEF010
While creating manually purchase requisition with same GL code and WBS element the fund center gets automatically picked.
Can anyone pls let me know in which table we can find the link between WBS element and fund center so that we can code the same in our program. In PRPS table we can find the link between WBS and profit center.
Or is there any user exit that can be used.

If you do a F1 in the value date field it will give you the answer - The value date is used in bank accounts and bank sub-accounts.
As regards the other query check whether the tax code has been already created.

U create ur own serach help using the searchelp option is se11 and create it based on ur requirement zand make it as elementary not as collective.
go to SE 11 and click on KUNNR and click on scrh Help puchbutton and assign ur search help and it will be assigned to the same.
If u want use already one then DEBI, C_KUNNR A_KUNNR
QVDM_KUN REKUNNRCN RE_KUNNR are there
these are collective serach helps and assign ur help to any of these.
