Reg: list o/p

Can anyboby help me please, it is very urgent.
i have fetched all the data into final internal table.my fields in the internal table is like this for example:
Date-text-result are 3 fields.
data is like this.....
d1   t1   r1
d1   t2   r2
d2   t1   r3
d3   t1   r4
d4   t2   r5
d5   t3   r6
It may contain any no. of texts and dates acc to selection screen.
we should display(o/p format) in this way(in matrix form):
- in the first line it should print all the distinct texts horizontally.
-all distinct dates vertically.
-and it should print ressults corespondingly.
like this:
           t1  t2  t3
     d1  r1  r2
     d2  r3
     d3  r4
     d4       r5
     d5            r6
Thanks and regards,
Kamala.

hi kamala,
u can use control break stmts...

    hi friends..
    actually i copied one standard program to add some fields (i.e i want to customize that)..
    the output for that standard program is alv grid..
    but my custom program show the output as alv List display..
    how can i change from list to grid ?
    other than program i need any other extra settings..
    note:
    i check the settings-> user parameters..
    but i don't have that options in that screen

    There are a number of ways to create a fieldcat.
    For the purpose of this example i will build the fieldcatalog manualy
    by populating the internal table fields individually and then
    appending the rows. This method can be the most time consuming but can
    also allow you  more control of the final product.
    Beware though, you need to ensure that all fields required are
    populated. When using some of functionality available via ALV, such as
    total. You may need to provide more information than if you were
    simply displaying the result
                  I.e. Field type may be required in-order for
                       the 'TOTAL' function to work.

  • Reg:list of stock tranporting order(STO) deliveries whose GR is open

    Hi All,
    please respond ,
    i search this question in forums,this question was repeated
    but unanswerd, my requirement is.
    get the list of deliveries for STO and whose GR is open
    is there any standard bapi to get like this...
    if there is no bapi for this let me know the table names to maintain GR status for deliveries, so that i will generate my own function module.
    ( please dont suggest me to use transaction VL06I and so,
    i want bapi or table names)
    Thank you
    Sumalatha.

    Hi lakshmi kumar  thanks for u r reply,
    but i didn't get you, please tell me the table names

  • Reg List Item

    Hi All,
    I have programmed a "list item" in such a way that it is populated by a record group that is created programatically and after population the record group is destroyed, This is my code that has been placed in "When-New-Form-Instance" trigger at Form Level.
    DECLARE
         RG_NAME VARCHAR2(30) := 'RG_LIST';
         RG_ID RECORDGROUP;

    BEGIN
         V_QUERY := 'SELECT CUSTOMER_ID,CUSTOMER_ID FROM CUSTOMERS';
         RG_ID := FIND_GROUP(RG_NAME);
         IF NOT ID_NULL(RG_ID) THEN
              DELETE_GROUP(RG_ID);
         END IF;

         RET_CODE := POPULATE_GROUP(RG_ID);
         POPULATE_LIST('CUSTOMER_ID_LIST_ITEM',RG_NAME);
         DELETE_GROUP(RG_ID);

    When i compiled the Form, i am getting the error that says: FRM-30351: No list elements defined for list item.List CUSTOMER_ID_LIST_ITEM

  • Reg List..

    Hi All,
             Could you tell me about <b>List</b> in Dialog Programming and Diff of <b>List and Screen. </b>How List used in the screen. Please guide me in detail.
    Regards,
    Thanuskodi T.

    Hi
    A transaction is dialog program that change data objects in a consistant way.
    A dialog program must fulfil the following requirements
    -          A user friendly user interface.
    -          Format and consistancey checks for the data entered by the user.
    -          Easy correction of input errors.
    -          Access to data by storing it in the data bases.
    -          Screens (Dynpros)
    -          Each dialog in an SAP system is controlled by dynpros.A dynpros consists of a screen
    And its flow logic and controls exactly one dialog step.
    -          ABAP/4 module Pool.
         Each dynpro refers to exactly one ABAP/4 dialog program .Such a dialog program is also       called a module pool ,since it consists of interactive modules.
    PBO- Process Before Output-It determines the flow logic before displaying the screen.
    PAI-Process After Input-It determines the flowlogic after the display of the screen and after receiving inputs from the User.
              A dynpro (Dynamic Program) consists of a screen and its flow logic and controls exactly one dialog steps.
    -          The different components of the dynpro are :
    <u><b>Flow Logic:</b></u> calls of the ABAP/4 modules for a screen .
    <u><b>Screen layout:</b></u> Positions of the text, fields, pushbuttons and so on for a screen
    <u><b>Screen Attributes:</b></u> Number of the screen, number of the subsequent screen, and others
    <b>Fields attributes:</b> Definition of the attributes of the individual fields on a screen.
    *Each dynpro refers to exactly one ABAP/4 dialog program.Such a dialog program is also called a module pool ,since it consists on interactive modules
    *We cannot write field data to the screen using the WRITE statement.The system instead transfers data by comparing screen fields names with ABAP/4  variable names.If both names are the same,it transfers screen fields values to ABAP/4 programs fields and Vice Versa.This happens immediately after displaying the screen.
    *The flow control of a dynpro consists os a few statements that syntactically ressemble ABAP/4  statements .However ,we cannot use flow control keywords in ABAP/4 and vice-versa.
    The SET SCREEN and LEAVE SCREEN statements controls screen flow.
    <b>SUPPRESS DIALOG’</b>
    Suppressing of entire screens is possible with this command.  This command allows us to perform screen processing “in the background”.  Suppresing screens is useful when we are branching to list-mode from a transaction dialog step.
    If we don’t use Suppress-Dialog to next screen will be displayed but as empty, when the user presses ENTER, the standard list output is displayed.
    <b> producing a list within a transaction</b>
    By submitting a separate report.
    By using leave to list-processing.
    <u><b>use of the statement Leave to List-processing</b></u>
    Leave to List-processing statement is used to produce a list from a module pool.  Leave to list processing statement allows to switch from dialog-mode to list-mode within a dialog program.
    <u><b>More info on dialog program using LIST</b></u>
    <b>SUBMIT</b> rep. (Calls the report rep . Leaves the active program and starts the new report rep)
    <u><b> Additions</b></u>
    1. ... LINE-SIZE col   (Prints the report with the line width col)
    2. ... LINE-COUNT lin (Prints the report with lin lines (per page).)
    3. ... TO SAP-SPOOL
    4. ... VIA SELECTION-SCREEN (Displays the selection screen for the user. In this case, the selection screen is redisplayed after return from the report list display - the user's entries are retained)
    5. ... AND RETURN (Returns to the calling transaction or program after the called program has been executed. SUBMIT ... AND RETURN creates a new internal mode)
    6. ... EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY (Does not display the output list of the called report, but saves it in SAP memory and leaves the called report immediately. Since the calling program can read the list from memory and process it further, you need to use the addition ... AND RETURN . Also, since the called report cannot be requested for printing, the addition ... TO SAP-SPOOL is not allowed here. You can read the saved list from SAP memory with the function module 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY' and then (for example) store it in the database with EXPORT . You can process this list further with the function modules 'WRITE_LIST' , 'DISPLAY_LIST' ... of the function group "SLST")
    7. ... USER user VIA JOB job NUMBER n (Schedules the specified report in the job specified by the job name job and the job number n . The job runs under the user name user and you can omit the addition USER user . The assignment of the job number occurs via the function module JOB_OPEN (see also the documentation for the function modules JOB_CLOSE and JOB_SUBMIT . This addition can only be used with the addition ...AND RETURN)
    8. ... Various additions for parameter transfer to rep
    9. ... USING SELECTION-SETS OF PROGRAM prog(Uses variants of the program prog when executing the program rep)
    <u><b>LEAVE</b></u>
    1. LEAVE PROGRAM. (LEAVE PROGRAM always leaves the current program - there is never any processing after LEAVE PROGRAM)
    2. LEAVE TO TRANSACTION tcod. (Terminates the current processing and starts the (new) transaction tcod)
    3. LEAVE TO SCREEN scr. (Leaves the current screen and processes the screen scr)
    4. LEAVE SCREEN. (Leaves the current screen and processes the next screen.)
    5. LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING. (Switches from "dialog processing" (module pool, screens) of the current transaction to "list processing)
    6. LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING. (Returns from list processing and re-processes the return screen (LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING))
    7. LEAVE.( Leaves the " CALL mode ")

  • NoRouteToHostException

    I've seen a few other threads with this issue, but I'm not quite sure why I'm having the issue.
    I'm running the RMI server and client on the same linux box. The server starts up on port 1099 and binds the object without issue.
    I start the client and can list the available objects, but when I attempt to invoke one of the mehtods, I get the NoRouteToHostException.
    I updated the CouponServicesLinkImpl default constructor to call the super constructor with 1099, but I think this is overkill.
    Any thoughts?
    Client Code
        public static void testClient() throws Exception
            Registry reg = LocateRegistry.getRegistry("localhost");
            String[] list = reg.list();
            System.out.println( list[0] );  // <<----successfully lists "CouponServices"
            CouponServicesLink link = (CouponServicesLink)reg.lookup("CouponServices");
            System.out.println( link.toString() );  // <<----Shows Proxy[ISPRemote,RemoteObjectInvocationHandler[UnicastRef [liveRef: [endpoint:[XX.XX.XX.XX:1099](remote),objID:[-536e44f3:129a950f14b:-7fff, -8506899594546368628]]]]]
            link.invokeRetrieveProcessAsRecords();  // <<-----thorows java.rmi.ConnectIOException: Exception creating connection to: XX.XX.XX.XX; nested exception is:        java.net.NoRouteToHostException: No route to host
            link.cleanup();
        }Server Code:
                System.out.println( "creating registry @ 1099");
                Registry registry = LocateRegistry.createRegistry(1099);
                System.out.println( "Creating object for registry");
                CouponServicesLink stub = (CouponServicesLink)new CouponServicesLinkImpl();
                System.out.println( "Binding CouponServices");
                registry.rebind( "CouponServices", stub);
                System.out.println( "Waiting for Clients");
            } catch (Exception e) {
                System.err.println("exception:");
                e.printStackTrace();
            }

    Gotcha. That corrected the issue and I appreciate the resource information.
    Is there an explanation about why the RMI server logic can properly serve the listings without the hostname property, but cannot serve the objects without it? Or is that just "the way it is".

  • Problem with lost of the access to the RMI server

    Hi to all.
    We have two applications. First one (master) provides to second (slave) through RMI service their data or other resources.
    In the ordinary way all works fine. But if we need for some reason restart master application, slave can't access to the RMI service and calling of the method Naming.lookup(...) throws java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling return; nested exception is: java.io.EOFException
    Interestingly, calling of method Namig.list(...) at this moment correctly returns an array of the names bound in the registry.
    For completeness, in the time of restarting master application, classes of the RMI services are not changed and thus Stub/Skeleton classes are same on both sides.
    What is reason for this behaviour? It is way to restart/restore RMI access of the slave application to the master without restarting server (Tomcat) of both applications?
    Thank, Roman

    Thank for your reply, but your suggestion not helped me now.
    For registering and binding I used usual practices. Following snippets of code are inside method that perform initialization on application startup. I was trying three versions.
    First version creates registry and binds service classes only. Without any checks.
    try {
      LocateRegistry.createRegistry(rmiPort);
      String ip = Functions.getCurrentEnvironmentNetworkIp();
      if (ip.startsWith("?"))
        throw new Exception("Can't retrieve application IP address.");
      logger.info("Application IP address: " + ip);+
      RMIServiceCommonImpl rmiServiceCommon = new RMIServiceCommonImpl();
      String name = "rmi://" + ip + ":" + rmiPort + "/";
      Naming.rebind(name + IRMIServiceCommon.RMI_SERVICE_COMMON_NAME, rmiServiceCommon);
    catch (Exception e) {
      logger.error("Failed to register RMI services: ", e);
    }On first application start all is OK and client has no problem to access RMI service.
    But if master application is restarted, calling of the method LocateRegistry.createRegistry(rmiPort); throws
    java.rmi.server.ExportException: internal error: ObjID already in use
    Since that, client can't access to the RMI service and following code (method Naming.lookup) throws
    java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling return; nested exception is: java.io.EOFException
      String name = "rmi://" + ConfigServlet.getProperty("rmiHostUrl") + "/";
      IRMIServiceCommon service = (IRMIServiceCommon) Naming.lookup(name + IRMIServiceCommon.RMI_SERVICE_COMMON_NAME);Second version checks if registry exist and trying to get list of registered services. If services not exist Register is created.
    try {
      Registry reg = LocateRegistry.getRegistry(rmiPort);
      String[] list = null;
      try {
        list = reg.list();
      catch (Exception ex) {
        // ignore
      if (list == null || list.length == 0)
        LocateRegistry.createRegistry(rmiPort);
      String ip = Functions.getCurrentEnvironmentNetworkIp();
      if (ip.startsWith("?"))
        throw new Exception("Can't retrieve application IP address.");
      logger.info("Application IP address: " + ip);
      String name = "rmi://" + ip + ":" + rmiPort + "/";
      RMIServiceCommonImpl rmiServiceCommon = new RMIServiceCommonImpl();
      Naming.rebind(name + IRMIServiceCommon.RMI_SERVICE_COMMON_NAME, rmiServiceCommon);
    catch (Exception e) {
      logger.error("Failed to registering RMI services: ", e);
    }Again, first start is OK.
    In this case, after application restart, calling of method Naming.rebind() throws
    java.lang.IllegalStateException at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1272)
    INFO: Illegal access: this web application instance has been stopped already. Could not load eu.arachne.rmi.RMIServiceCommonImpl_Stub.
    This exception is followed by similar exceptions, but differs in class names (stubs) - java.rmi.server.RemoteStub, java.rmi.server.RemoteObject, java.rmi.dgc.Lease, java.rmi.dgc.VMID, java.rmi.server.UID
    Of course, client application can't access to the service.
    The third version first unbinds all services and then performs binding again.
    if (list == null || list.length == 0)
      LocateRegistry.createRegistry(rmiPort);
    else {
      for (int ii = 0; ii < list.length; ii++)
        Naming.unbind(name + list[ii]);
    }But again, rebinding fail as I mentioning above.
    I don't know... :-( How I can solve this problem?
    Thank, Roman

  • Submit webform as case from event module

    So as most BC people will know, any webform implemented on an event will actually subscribe the person as an attendee to the event.
    What I'm trying to accomplish, is to add a secondary form, so people can submit their details and receive a brochure for that event, not yet subscribe to it! So the webform's autoresponder will send upon completion, containing a link to the brochure.
    My problem is though that the secondary form is subscribing them to the event, instead of treating it as a regular form. Anyone know of workarounds or how to force a webform to function like a regular webform?

  • Vendor open items aging list - Reg.

    Hi,
    My client is requesting a transaction in SAP which can be used to produce a Vendor open items aging list and the output should be exactly the same as it is for the Customer open items aging List (transaction S_ALR_87012178). Moreover, It is essential for him to have only one line per vendor. He does not want to  find a report in the accounts payable side that looks like the one which he mentioned for the accounts receivable side.
    Since this is an urgent ticket, can any body help me in this regard.
    Thanks,
    Prasanna

    Dear expert
        Reference from sdn forum
    You can customize the vendor report to show the items overdue per vendor by using the following steps
    1. Create a form using T Code - FKI4
    In this form ( two-axis structure) provide the details for each column as per your Client requirement - Due from 0 - 30 days
    etc. You can create a column (using formula method) at the end by adding the previous columns, this will give you total
    amount of overdue items for each vendor
    2. Create a report using T Code - FKI1
    Based on the Form created in the above step. Make additional selections based on client requirements like document type,
    company code, account type, currency etc. Execute the report.
    The following link will give provides detail steps for the creation of the aforementioned form and report.

  • Reg: ALV list Display

    Hi Experts,
                    My requirement is i need a button along with the tool bar of ALV list display . when i check the button it should display the Selection criteria values which user entered as a pop up .
    Is there any default tool which displays user selection values  for ALV list display  ?
    Regards,
    Vikram.S

    > Is there any default tool which displays user selection values  for ALV list display  ?
    No such program.
    But you have to write a code for it. Activate Button using the pf-status. then Handle that button in User command , and show a popup with the selection values.
    Function used to get the selection details is
    RS_REFRESH_FROM_SELECTOPTIONS
    get the data and show it using a Popup. May be a ALV popup select function will help you.

  • Reg: Adding spaces between texts in ALV list header

    Hi All,
    I was implementing a client requirement for ALV. The list header should contain something of this format.
    Pgm Id:               ZZZ01
    After this list header it is ALV display.
    I did this using the concatenate statement.
    ex: Concatenate 'PgmID' sy-repid into listheader seperated by space.
    But this is not showing spaces between text in ALV display. See I want a tabspace between the texts in headr. Any idea on how to mak it?
    Rakesh

    Depending on Fontsize the space might be so narrow that you believe its not there.
    check in the debugger if there is really a space in the string, the clause "separated by space" will insert one for sure.
    May be you'reshowing the ALV before you are modifying the listheader?
    Another approach is using strings, blanks at the end of a string are not deleted
    concatenate 'ABC ' 'XYZ' into s.
    and
    concatenate `ABC ` `XYZ` into s.
    will give different results, be aware of the difference in the quots in both cases. Using the second example you can insert as many blanks as you want.
