Regarding calculation--very strange

I am trying to process a Sales order.I am facing an issue with respect to the fuel surcharge calculation. there are two variables using which i am calculating the third one. the following are the variable declarations.
v_kbetr type konp-kbetr,
v_kwerti like komv-kwert,
v_kwertnet like komv-kwert.
the formula is :
v_kwerti = ( v_kwertnet / 100 ) * ( v_kbetr / 10 ) .
v_kwertnet gets in a value of 20925.00 and v_kbetr gets in a value of 50.00. so as per the aboce calculation i should get a value of 1046.25 but i am getting 104625.00. i tried changing the declaration of the third variable as the other two also. moreover the same program is working fine with the same variables,values and formula in our testing server. can anyone suggest something reg this?

Dear Balavenkatesh,
             when you are writing your code in routines the value kwert behaves in a different manner. I also faced the same problem while I was inserting data into routines in my past Implementations I faced the same.
the way I have done is calculate the complete value and pass it to temporary variable.
t_variable = ( v_kwertnet / 100 ) * ( v_kbetr / 10 ) .
v_kwerti   = t_variable / 100.
this is the way I used and its working properly now. dont try it in debuging and get confused you should get desired result now.

Address Book entries have very strange appearance

Since updating to Leopard, my Address Book entries have a very strange appearance. When I copy and paste them the info is correct, but in the Address Book right-hand window the name (first and last) appears like gobbledigook, as if it was a strange font that is almost like mathematical equations

Thanks a million for taking the trouble to respond Ashka.
I was only reminded of the problem when I opened a web page and saw a similar effect on a couple of lines as I had in my Address Book and having discovered your response, I followed your instructions and on scanning through my fonts, I also turned off "Helvetica Fractions" (as the gobbledigook looked as if it might be fractions). One of these actions seems to have done the trick.
Whilst looking for a particular font a while back, I ended up downloading absolutely hundreds, but it wasn't until I foolishly installed them all that I realised what a mistake I had made, as Word wouldn't even open, as it couldn't cope with the number of fonts. So I had to keep deleting fonts until Word was happy and even now, I still have far too many fonts. I kid myself that I like having so much to choose from, but truth is I am never going to use 90 per cent of them. Moreover, having discovered this problem, I wonder if there are any others in there that are going to cause me problems in the future?

Messages in my Inbox, My folders and Drafts
are regularly, every few days, disappearing.
Is there any settings that causes such SMS
deletion. Does anybody ran across such phenomena.

Indeed very strange, there is no option in any model for auto clearing for such items. Check the sticky post regarding reset codes, to put it to factory, hard reset or format it.

Very strange error in text properties - AI CS6

Hello Everyone,
This morning I found very very STRANGE error in Adobe CS6 about text properties. Here you go.
In the picture one text 'ei and mosterd' was bold.
But after copy to new string the bold characters are changed to 'ig and mosterdz'.
This is very strange error I have seen ever.
Do you guys have any reason why CS6 act like this?
also do you have any option to fix this issue?
For your information:
I just done copy past. Nothing else.
All the properties are same for both.
No difference except the text string size
I tried the same file in different machines for check. But I still see the same error in all the machines.
System properties:
Mac os x: 10.8.5
Processor 2,8 Ghz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB
Software: Adobe CS6

Smartforms: SFSY-FORMPAGES = star very strange

In a smartform i use as usually &SFSY-PAGE&/&SFSY-FORMPAGES& for numer of pages/total pages.
If the spool has less than ten pages all is right, if it has greater than ten pages (in the example 14) i get that:

Use &SFSY-PAGE& of &SFSY-FORMPAGES(4ZC)& instead of the &SFSY-PAGE&/&SFSY-FORMPAGES&.
This will not print astrik upto 9999 pages.

Populate List from Database (Very Strange Behaviour)

Dear Fellows,
I have developed a from which has two lists One for Major (say) and Other for Minor (say), thesr minors are based on the value of Major.
Now I have developed this system on Windows XP Professional, Developer/2000 6i and Oracle 8i (release 8.1.7).
Major list is populated from database and it shows all major values now using 'when_list_change' trigger the minor list is populated from the database based on the value of major list. Interestingly enough it is working fine without any problem.
Now I have deployed the software to Windows 2000 Professional/Server (tried on both), Developer/2000 6i and Oracle 8.0.5, but strangly the lists are not working now. First list (major) is still working but the other dependent lists are not working.
Another strange thing is that it populate the second list for one particular value (only at times).
The logic is that I have used a program unit to which i am passing 'list element' and 'query' and call it for each list in the when-list-change trigge.
Now its a very strange behaviour, I don't know what to do?

I have a parent-child-grandchild report which show's some really strange behaviour.
The data template has 3 queries Q1, Q2 and Q3.
Q2 is bound to Q1 using a bind variable
Q3 is bound to Q2 using another bind variable
For a certain record in Q1 the output should be
2 records in Q2
and 1 record in Q3 for each record in Q2

The results conforms to the expected output.
For another record in Q1 the output should be
2 records in Q2

If I run this select from SQL Plus a I get six month with number of days:

This is my first post, I started working with Oracle Forms and I recently came across a very strange issue, Forms do not know if it works differently than other technologies, but this error left me somewhat surprised.
Well, see the following situation:
System / BD Production (Access through VPN)
System / BD Test (access through VPN)
System Development (Location) / Test Bank (VPN).
Access to the environment TEST = OK. As
- I put the shortcut Oracle 6i forms to the address of *. FMX server through VPN.
Access to the Production environment = NOT OK. As
- I put the shortcut Oracle 6i forms to the address of *. FMX server through VPN.
Note: The application opens, all right. But when choosing a menu form, this form is not loaded on the screen. As the link it was disabled.
It can be kind of access? NO. For tested with the login of a user that is in place (no access through vpn) and the failure persists. I went to this user my login, and can access it normally.
Can be connected through VPN? I think NOT, because if the TEST environment would not work.
In short: When you access the TEST environment, everything works. I can open any form of the system through the menus, but in production, the forms do not open, as if he had called the forms.
Recalling that the people who are local access normally. As with my login on with it.
Would anyone answer me what might be happening?

ALV Grid - Very Strange Problem

I am facing a very strange problem in ALV Grid. Ours is a ECC5 system on SAP_APPL SAPKH50011 and SAP_BASIS SAPKB64016.
I have implemented the ALV grid in a screen using classes. This grid by default appears in display mode however it can be switched to change mode and back to display mode using a custom button on the ALV toolbar. When the user clicks the change button the grid appears in editable mode. During the back and forth switching of the ALV between Change/Display modes the ALV grid control is not destroyed however the toolbar, fieldcatalog and ALV contents are refreshed.
The data which is entered in an editable cell is validated using the data_changed event which has been implemented locally. If the validation fails an error message is raised using the message statement which is being issued correctly. Now when I correct the data and then click on another cell in the ALV grid the program is being aborted. Any clue why this is happening??

Very strange playlist limit (751 songs)

Hi! As far as I know the maximum number of songs for each playlist ist at about 10.000 or something like that. For me this would be a number I probaly never would reach.However I'm afraid Spotify have a bug concerning the limit. My playlist can only have 751 songs (what is a very strange and odd number). When I want to add a new song, there is no error message or something similiar - it seems to work fine. Only when I look into the playlist I see there aren't new songs added. As you might understand this is pretty annoying, beaucse there's no way to recover the songsy beyond this strange limit.I hope you guys fix this soonand someone can reproduce this. Missing InputField values on RadioButton Action (very strange) !!

I'm facing a very strange error!
When I select an option of a RadioButtonGroupByKey (it calls a method), the value of an InputField disappears!! Or if I have changed the value of the InputField before selecting the Radio, the old value appears instead of the new!
And the worst problem is that it happens sometimes, and sometimes doesn't.
Some points:
1: Even with an empty method it happens!!
2: Wthout calling a methos it doesn't happen!!
3: If I click on a button, calling the same method, the problem doesn't happen (only with the Radio)!!
I've tried everything, like pulling the value from the InputField element and forcing it in the context (before, during and after the method), but nothing has solved the problem! Because the value already comes empty (or old) from the InputField!!
Please, has anybody already faced this problem??

i created a news ticker in java applet that is running successfully . i kept in the site also that is working .when i created two same applet in my one page it will get out side after 2 hours .out side that means on the top of window. if i use only one then its ok. i don't know what happen.if any one know the solution plz tell me what is the issue.

Very strange screen problem (previous app leaves mark)

I'm Danielle, i'm from the Netherlands and i'm having a very strange problem with my iPad mini (bought It August 2013).
never had problems with my iPad, but since a few weeks i have à strange problem with my screen.
when i open an app, for example messages, and i use it for a while, and then return to the home screen or go to another app,the messages app leaves a mark o'n the screen at the left side of my screen (an area of 2 cm from the Side). my english is not very good but im trying to describe it.
I cant make a print screen of iT because its a problem with the screen So you dont see iT on a print screen.
so:
- i see a mark of THE previous screen(app) on my screen
- first i throught iT was: in dutch we call it doorgebrand, translated in english: burn through (dont know if i translated it right). Like a old computer when you are working at a screen for to long so letters and text are printed, permanently, on the Screen (Thats why you have screen savers).
- but: it disapears in a few minutes or if i open a black screen.
- It's not very clear to see (The longer i used the app, The clearer the Mark) and iT has horizontal stripes
i hope someone has experience with this problem or knows what i have to do.
i never heard of this problem before and i cant Find iT on Google.

A workaround is to turn the brightness down, it may reduce the 'burn in' less & makes it less noticeable.
You should get in contact with Apple ASAP if you consider it bad enough to need repair, it should have a 1 year warranty. I suspect it is considered just to be how it behaves.

Very Strange Mailbox problem

I faced very strange problem last week regarding the mailbox. I have doubt that must be bug in that release. Previously we were using a single box for multiple domain hosted on it so mailboxes were created like user/[email protected]/INBOX expect the mail boxes for user domain matched with hostname domain. Then we separated one of our domain and mail server was created with hostname like mail.abc.com. All application and services was installed successfully and schema 2 was created at LDAP, as I was migration the users so user�s mail boxes must be migrated as well. Default user mailboxes was created on new box as user/uid/INBOX as domain part was missing so I put all the old mailboxes on the same partition where the default one was created and I manually copy over the contents from old one to new one and run ./reconstruct -m command so users wre eable to see all of their pervious mail and folders. Every thing went fine and well later I issue the ./mboxutil �o to get the orphan mailboxes; output gave me all mail boxes which have @domain part. So I create the file from that list and issue the command ./mboxutil �d �f filename. Oh no! Then seriuos problem occurs as the default mailboxes /usr/uid/INBOX deleted as well and technically they should not be because they were not present in the list. Then I create the mailboxes manually or some was created on reception of mail and I notice the user/[email protected]/INBOX is created as well associated to each user.
So real question is if user/[email protected]/INBOX is linked with default usr/uid/INBOX then why ./mboxutil �o is giving these mailboxes as orphan in the list, if they are not link or associated then why they are created automatically while the new mail boxes created manually or reception of mail.
I will appreciate if any body can help me with these question based on scenario presented above.

Youve found a bug with mboxutil -o
I would have suggested following a different path to achieve your goal.
I would have suggested using imsbackup to capture the existing mailboxes you wanted to move, and imsrestore to populate the new server.
the two mailboxes are NOT linked, other than mboxutil is confused.
by running reconstruct -m, you entered them both into the database. I think this was a bad idea.
If you were going to manually manipulate mailbox files, I would have removed the old uid@domain mailboxes before running the reconstruct -m
I would have also run reconstruct -r afterwards. If you had done these, you would not have seen the problem at all.
