Regarding dynamically loading slider/radios within grid

I have a DataGrid and I am using ItemRenderers to dynamically load components like images and buttons within it. Now, I wanted to know if its possible to load a slider or even a radiogroup based on values that the datagrid receives dynamically. If a slider is used it needs to be calibrated with data that it receives from dataprovider property of the grid. Similarly, if a radio group is used, I should be able to render number of radios depending on the data provided to datagrid.
I am basically building an application for image search where I want to provide a slider or radios (within each row of datagrid) displaying various sizes in which the same image is available. The user should be able to select a size and then further processing continues.
Let me know if this is possible.Thanks.

  • Dynamically Loading Slide Show...

    hello everyone
    this is a big one...but i am stuck!
    i want to make a slideshow in flash 8 with the following
    properties...
    1/ dynamically loads jpegs from an external folder and
    centers them on the stage (regardless of whether they are
    landscape/portrait)...this bit i can do
    2/next/prev buttons (also i can do)
    3/ play/stop buttons (this is tricky as versions i have been
    working on don`t have time to load the image before the playhead
    moves on...therefore i need some kind of actionscript which tests
    if the jpeg has loaded, waits for *** seconds then goes to the next
    frame...)
    4/ it has to be re-usable (i want it so that the images are
    loaded as img1.jpg, img2.jpg...then when i want to edit or re-use
    the show i can alter the amount of images and flash will look for
    the last loading image then loop back to the first.
    i knoe this is a big ask but if anyone has the time to help
    me out i would really appreciate it
    thankyou

    Hope, this is not so big !
    But, if you are using the loadClip instead of loadMovie, you
    can trace out the loading process of each images. So that, when an
    image get loaded, you can start the counter by "setInterval". This
    will turn aging for all the dynamicall images has been
    loaded.....

  • Can I call a dynamically loaded subvi from a subvi inside a library?

    I have an application that uses a .lvlib, this library has many subvi's.  From my executable, I can dynamically load subvi's within the library using the "open reference.vi" and passing in just the name as long as the subvi's being called are listed in the "always included" list of my build specification.  What I want to do now is load an external subvi (external to the library) using the same method.  But when I try to do this, LabVIEW cannot find the external subvi even when it is included as part of the executable.  It seems the Paths are getting messed up.  Here is what is happening:
    Lets say I have Mylibrary.lvlib as my library in the following path C:\MyProject\Mylibrary.lvlib,
    and internal.vi as my subvi within the library in the following path C:\MyProject\MySubVis\internal.vi,
    and external.vi as my subvi outside of my library in the following path C:\MyProject\external.vi
    This is all in the same project.
    I'm using the "Open VI Reference.vi" from internal.vi to call external.vi, and I'm including both internal.vi and external.vi in my executable (MyEXE.exe for illustration purposes).  When I run this part of my code I get an error and LabVIEW reports the path of my external subvi as: C:\MyProject\MyEXE.exe\MySubVis\external.vi which is really the path for my library subvi.  Why?
    Either way, when I hard code what is supposed to be the correct path to my external subvi:  C:\MyProject\MyEXE.exe\external.vi, LabVIEW can't seem to find the file, its' almost like an access scope problem because I'm trying to access something outside of the library.  Is there such thing?  If the file is part of my exe why can't LabVIEW find it???  How can I call my external.vi BY NAME from my internal.vi??
    Any help is appreciated.

    Your hardcoded path is incorrect. How do you have the build configured? Are you using the new executable structure or the pre-8.2 structure.

  • Dynamic Binding of two components grid

    HI all,
    I have two grids in my canvas and a radio button.Now i want to populate the data in these two grid based on the selection of the radio button alone.
    Kindly assist me with these implementation.
    Abhishek

    Hi abhi,
    you should map the data for both grid separately, and you will use dynamic visibility concept for the grid to show them on run time.
    Use radio button for the dynamic visibility concept.
    Steps:
    1: Take [Mapping] your grid names as radio button labels.
    2: Make the insertion type of the radio button as position.
    3: Map the destination cell.
    Then in the grid properties go to behavior and under  dynamic visibility map the status cell that contains 1 for the first grid and 2 for the second grid.Now map the destination cell of the radio button as key cell for the both grids.
    Ex: cells A1=grid1 and A2=grid2  are the labels for the radio button,A3 is the radio button destination cell.
    Now take B1=1 and B2=2.Map the B1 for the status of grid1 and B2 for the grid2 status.And map the A3 for the both grids key.
    It's just using dynamic visibility concept using radio button.If it is not your requirement please let me know.
    Regards
    Vishnu.

  • How to dynamically load jar files - limiting scope to that thread

    Dynamically loading jar files has been discussed a lot. I have read a quite a few posts, articles, and demo code for doing just that. However, I have yet to find a solution to my problem. Most people modify their system class loader and are happy. I have done that and was happy for a time. Occasionally, you will see reference to an application server or tomcat or some other large project that have successfully been able to load and unload jar files, allow for dynamic deployment of code, etc. However, I have not been able to achieve similar success; And my problem is much less complicated.
    I have an application that executes a thread to send a given file/message to a standard JMS Server Queue. Depending on the parameters selected by the user, this thread may need to communicate with one of a number of JMS Servers, ie. JBoss, WebLogic, EAServer, Glassfish, etc. All of which can be done with the same code, but each needs to load their own flavor of JMS Client Jar files. In this instance, spawning a separate JVM for each communication would work from a classloader perspective. However, I need to keep it in the family and run under the same JVM, albeit each JMS Server Connection will be created and maintained in separate Threads.
    I am close, I am doing the following...
    1. Creating a new URLClassLoader in the run() method of each thread.
    2. Set this threads contextClassLoader to the new URLClassLoader.
    3. Load the javax.jms.JMSException class with the URLClassLoader.loadClass() method.
    4. Create an initialContext object within this thread.
    Note: I read that the initialContext and subsequent conext lookup calls would use the Threads
    contextClassLoader for finding/loading classes.
    5. Perform context.lookup calls for a connectionFactory and Queue name.
    6. Create JMS Connection, etc. Send Message.
    Most of this seems to work. However, I am still getting a NoClassDefFoundError exception for the javax.jms.JMSException class ( Note step #3 - tried to cure unsuccessfully).
    If I include one of the JMS Client jar files ( ie wljmsclient.jar for weblogic ) in the classpath then it works for all the different JMS Servers, but I do not have confidence that each of the providers implemented these classes that now resolve the same way. It may work for now, but, I believe I am just lucky.
    Can anyone shine some light on this for me and all the others who have wanted to dynamically load classes/jar files on a per Thread basis?

    Thanks to everyone - I got it working!
    First, BenSchulz' s dumpClassLoader() method helped me to visualize the classLoader hierarchy. I am still not completely sure I understand why my initial class was always found by the systemClassLoader, but knowning that - was the step I needed to find the solution.
    Second, kdgregory suggested that I use a "glue class". I thought that I already was using a "glue class" because I did not have any JMSClient specific classes exposed to the rest of the application. They were all handled by my QueueAdmin class. However...
    The real problem turned out to be that my two isolating classes (the parent "MessageSender", and the child "QueueAdmin") were contained within the same jar file that was included in the classpath. This meant that no matter what I did the classes were loaded by the systemClassLoader. Isolating them in classes was just the first step. I had to remove them from my jar file and create another jar file just for those JMSClient specific classes. Then this jar file was only included int custom classLoader that I created when I wanted to instantiate a JMSClient session.
    I had to create an interface in the primary jar file that could be loaded by the systemClassLoader to provide the stubs for the individual methods that I needed to call in the MessageSender/QueueAdmin Classes. These JMSClient specific classes had to implement the interface so as to provide a relationship between the systemClassLoader classes and the custom classLoader classes.
    Finally, when I loaded and instantiated the JMSClient specific classes with the custom classLoader I had to cast them to the interface class in order to make the method calls necessary to send the messages to the individual JMS Servers.
    psuedu code/concept ....
    Primary Jar File   -  Included in ClassPath
    Class<?> cls = ClassLoader.loadClass( "JMSClient.MessageSender" )
    JMSClientInterface jmsClient = (JMSClientInterface) cls.newInstance()
    jmsClient.sendMessage()
    JMSClient Jar File  -  Loaded by Custom ClassLoader Only
    MessageSender impliments Primary.JMSClientInterface{
        sendMessage() {
            Class<?> cls=ClassLoader.loadClass( "JMSClient.QueueAdmin" )
            QueueAdmin queueAdmin=(QueueAdmin) cls.newInstance()
            queueAdmin.JMSClientSpecificMethod()
        }

  • Dynamically Load Thumbnails To Horizontal Movieclip?

    I'd like to dynamically load thumbnails into a horizontal movieclip at the bottom of an image gallery to then allow me to load an image by clicking the thumbnails. I found a tutorial to help me load the thumbnails to the stage but I am not sure how to load them into the thumbs movieclip. Here is the code I am using:
    var imageLoader:Loader;
    var xml:XML;
    var xmlList:XMLList;
    var xmlLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    xmlLoader.load(new URLRequest("xml/murals.xml"));
    xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, xmlLoaded);
    function xmlLoaded(event:Event):void
        xml = XML(event.target.data);
        xmlList = xml.children();
        for(var i:int = 0; i < xmlList.length(); i++)
            imageLoader = new Loader();
            imageLoader.load(new URLRequest(xmlList[i].attribute("thumb")));
            imageLoader.x = i * 175 + 25;     // <----- Also, I don't seem to understand how to space the thumbnails using this code.
            imageLoader.y = 5;
            addChild(imageLoader);
    Thanks in advance!

    I wasn't sure if I should make a new discussion for this or not so I'm just going to post it here.
    Alright. I finally found a tutorial that works for what I am trying to do. The thumbs load on a grid and when I click on the thumb they load in the loader. Now I am having trouble removing them. The tutorial has the remove function on the loaded large image so when you click that it removes itself. I would like so that when you click on the a thumb the current image will unload and the thumb that is clicked on will load but can't figure out how to get it to do that. I figured I'd just add a CLICK listener for the "removeFull" function to the "callFull" function but I think it cancels itself out.
    Here is the code I am using: (the code to load and unload is toward the bottom)
    stop();
    var columns:Number = 2;
    var my_x:Number = 25;
    var my_y:Number = 75;
    var my_thumb_width:Number = 65;
    var my_thumb_height:Number = 65;
    var my_images:XMLList;
    var my_total:Number;
    var container_mc:MovieClip;
    var x_counter:Number = 0;
    var y_counter:Number = 0;
    var myXMLLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    myXMLLoader.load(new URLRequest("xml/gallery.xml"));
    myXMLLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, processXML);
    function processXML (e:Event):void{
        var myXML:XML = new XML(e.target.data);
        my_images = myXML.IMAGE;
        my_total = my_images.length();

        container_mc.y = my_y;
        addChild(container_mc);
    //The large image loads when the thumb is clicked on.
        container_mc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, callFull);
        container_mc.buttonMode = true;

        for (var i:Number = 0; i < my_total; i++){

            var thumb_loader = new Loader();
            thumb_loader.load(new URLRequest(thumb_url));
            thumb_loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, thumbLoaded);
            thumb_loader.name = i;
            thumb_loader.x = (my_thumb_width+25)*x_counter;
            thumb_loader.y = (my_thumb_height+25)*y_counter;

  • Moving images within Grid View in LR3beta2

    Frustrated. In LR3Beta1 I could manually move and place images within Grid View or from the slide view at bottom for purposes of sorting "similar subject" content within a specified Text/Attribute naming. All of this was accomplished from the Parent folder, with no need for drilling down the Tree.
    Now, since installing LR3Beta2 I can no longer manually move (sort) within Grid View...unless I am in the lower most folder of the tree. This change is not practical since a tree folder may not match the relevance of my specified Text/Attributes.
    Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong, or is the ability to manually sort from Parent folder no longer an option?

    Here's an example of how I catalog/label/sort my images...
    Architectural images project - 3 locations of shootng, 4 areas of focus: Doors, Windows, Facades, Walls
    So, I may have 20 images w/both a door and a facade in the shot, 20 images with a window and a door, etc. I prefer to Keyword all of the images as Architectural, and then Keyword those applicable to Doors, Windows, Facades, Walls, etc.
    Now, suppose those all go into a folder labeled Architecture.
    The next week I get an assignment for Urban settings. It may include shops, churches, etc. However, within those, I decide to Keyword (where appropriate) Doors, Windows, Churches, Shops, etc. That project goes into a folder labeled Urban Settings.
    Now, let's say I have a request specifically for "Doors". Now, those Doors are spread across multiple folders at this point so I have no opportunity to manually sort all of the doors my similar content if they fall into multiple folders. Doesn't matter that I have pulled up Doors through Text, I still cannot sort them by similar style, shape, color, etc since they are spread across multiple folders.
    In the 1st beta, I could slice and dice a hundred ways to arrive at a final view and then...sort those so that they always appeared that way whenever I called them up again. Didn't matter that they were in multiple folders. That was extremely useful and...sweet.
    Any ideas?

  • How to dynamically load data from DB in an HTML control present in jsp

    Hi Friends,
    Can anyone help me with this problem:
    I am working on a portal application. My requirement is to dynamically load data in an HTML control present in my JSPs. The controls are combo-boxes, text-fields, list-boxes etc. . Also, the events to load the data are like On Form load, On selecting a value from the combo-box, on clicking on a text-field etc.
    If any one can help me with a code snippet, than that would be highly appreciable. If not then the approach to achieve this will also be helpful.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Dynamic table with radio buttons

    I need to load a dynamic table with radio buttons that allow
    the user to select an item in the table. I need to have it add a
    radio button with a unique identifier for each table item.
    For example: the table will load all of the seminars
    locations available in a certain state, the radio button will allow
    the user to select the city in which they would like to attend and
    that value will get passed to the registration page. The value of
    each radio button would be equal to the location_id in the database
    for each of the locations in the table (The table includes the
    date, day, venue, address, hotel info, etc. details for each city.)
    When I add dynamic radio buttons and set the value to the
    location_id in the database, it allows the user to select multiple
    radio buttons. I cannot find any information on how to
    resolve.....??
    Any help is appreciated.

    Give each radio button the same name

  • How to style dynamically loading text?

    Hi,
    I am dynamically loading a .txt file into CS3 using
    ActionScript 3.0. I want to style the text using CSS/HTML. The only
    thing I can get to function using CSS/HTML is the "a tag", I can't
    seem to get bold, colour, font, etc working. Should i be using CSS
    or should I be doing this styling from ActionScript in the swf
    files? I have checked the help files but I could get their tags to
    work.
    Any suggestions very welcome.
    Thanks.

    you will have more control over all of this if you feed in an
    xml file rather than a txt file. you can stipulate your class
    attributes within the xml then
    if you want to style the dynamic content using just your txt
    file and the controls within the fla you could embed the typeface
    glyphs you want to use within your output swf file and colour them
    / change weight etc within the fla
    hope that is of some use
    ;-)

  • Dynamically loading client proxy no longer works

    I've got several instances where we need to dynamically load/initialize a WebService client proxy using a URL classloader all within an Applet. The need for the classloader and dynamic loading is due to the seperate jars holding different system modules. One main module can't possible know which submodules are also installed and have WebServices running.
    Instead, the main module reads the location of a class to load and uses a URL classloader to load that class. The loaded class knows about it's own client proxy to use and tries to load the appropriate jar and class. The proxy is successfully found and loaded using the classloader, but pukes during initialization. It appears the RuntimeModeler can't find the generated IsAvailable class even though it exists in the same signed jar that just got loaded and which contains the very client proxy that is trying to initialize itself.
    This process worked fine using 1.5, but no longer works after migrating to 1.6. Am I missing something obvious?

    Are you running SP2 R2? This worked for me as well until I upgraded to SCCM 2007 SP2 R2. I am focusing on the "~Doing Account Cleanup" errors in the ccm.log which should happen every 30 days, not every 20 minutes. Those errors have to be related to client push problems. Also, thanks for the reboot suggestion. I realize anytime a computer object is added to a domain security group that has is a member of a local group on the client, that a reboot is necessary on client systems in order to receive a new Kerberos access token but in the case of my test systems, I have explicitly added the computer account to the local administrators group so a reboot is not required. I have a test site in a completely different forest and it behaves almost the same way (doesn't run the "~Doing Account Cleanup" every 20 minutes) but still fails to install the client using the site server's computer account. Must be me!!!

  • External load a StyleSheet within the IPreloaderDisplay via the StyleManager

    Hello,
    I've attempted to dynamically load an external stylesheet swf file within my IPreloaderDisplay implementation using the StyleManager.loadStyleDeclerations and have caught an error:
    TypeError: Error #1006: getInstance is not a function.
        at mx.core::Singleton$/getInstance()[E:\dev\flex_201_borneo\sdk\frameworks\mx\core\Singleton .as:49]
        at mx.styles::StyleManager$cinit()
        at global$init()[E:\dev\flex_201_borneo\sdk\frameworks\mx\styles\StyleManager.as:27]
    Is there a way to fix this problem. I would like to load the dynamic stylesheet before the Application initilialise for performance reasons and to eliminate the UI from changing it's look once the application is shown. Is there maybe a way to fix this by making it possible to load the dynamic stylesheet during the IPreloaderDisplay steps.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi There - taking the issues and breaking them down - RDP and remote Assitance are not clearly documented to get them working - however, on your "RDP All" Rule shave you enabled "Edge Traversal" and tested using your management server
    with pre-assigned DFG. - see this link for reference -
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/edgeaccessblog/archive/2010/09/14/how-to-enable-remote-desktop-sharing-rds-rdp-from-corporate-machines-to-directaccess-connected-machines.aspx
    One note is that Remote Assistance is not correct in the article. The correct WFAS Rules are below
    Name
    Rule
    Protocol and Port
    Scope
    Action
    Profile
    DA - Inbound RDS via DirectAccess
    Inbound
    Port 3389
    Limit to DA Server IPv6 and Managment Server IPv6 Address
    Allow and Allow Edge Traversal
    Public, Private
    DA - Inbound RA (DCOM-in) via DirectAccess
    Inbound
    Port 135
    Limit to DA Server IPv6 and Managment Server IPv6 Address
    Allow and Allow Edge Traversal
    Public, Private
    DA - Inbound RA (RA Server TCP-in) via DirectAccess
    Inbound
    Program
    %SystemRoot%\system32\raserver.exe
    Limit to DA Server IPv6 and Managment Server IPv6 Address
    Allow and Allow Edge Traversal
    Public, Private
    DA - Inbound RA (RA Server UDP-In) via DirectAccess
    Inbound
    Program
    %SystemRoot%\system32\raserver.exe
    Limit to DA Server IPv6 and Managment Server IPv6 Address
    Allow and Allow Edge Traversal
    Public, Private
    DA - Inbound RA (MSRA Server TCP-in) via DirectAccess
    Inbound
    Program
    %SystemRoot%\system32\msra.exe
    Limit to DA Server IPv6 and Managment Server IPv6 Address
    Allow and Allow Edge Traversal
    Public, Private
    After that we can look at the routing - have you an internal VIP for the DirectAccess Servers as looking at the post the traffic will always go out of the specified server (the one determined as the DFG of the Management Server).

    You don't.
    Slideshows are exported as movies and these are very large files. Email is not an appropriate medium for very large files as they can cause immense issues for the receiver.
    Better to share some other way.
