  • Regarding File to Idoc Scenario

    Dear Friends,
I am performing File to Idoc Scenario in XI 3.0. Here I got struck, I am not able to see my sender file in SXMB_IFR. It is saying that no messages availabe for selection. The file was picked up successfully from the souce. Please help me.
    Thanks in advance.

check the error/ warning message that would be available at the end of the page (in RWB....where you see th yellow triangle)......even my IE is showing a yellow triangle but none of my interfaces are facing a problem.....just check for the status of the Communication channel in AE.....since your message is not transferred to SXMB_MONI confirm that the channel log is showing successful.....also can you tell what is teh status of other interfaces?.....are they running fine?...if yes then there seems to be problem with the sender channel......are you using any FCC?
One such situation where IE is showing yellow status is mentioned here: RWB Integration Engine status yellow
Just one doubt to ask...are you using the required Sender channel in the Sender Agreement?...hope there is no mismatch here....
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Regarding File 2  JDBC Scenario

    Hi Friends,
can anybody help me on file 2 jdbc scenario. here my input file is not picked but in moni it is showing black flag. and in message monitoring in adapter engine sender side interface status is successful but receiver side interface status is waiting and i am not getting the output in my database table.please help me one this issue

    Hi Uday
Kindly check your server and port whether they are up
go to transaction SM49 and click on PING then in the next string give your server and port address and press F8
you will get the actual status of your server
    also
You have to deploy the required JDBC drivers for the database before making connection. Ask the database provider or your vendor for the divers. That should be deployed using SDM tool
Start visual admin of XI and select service "Deploy" and then select option "Deploy and start" to select file and deploy it
now here is the steps to deploy this module.
How to deploy adapter module in production
    Three option available:
    1. Using SDM
    2. Using Visual Admin
    3. Using NW development studio (Not available for Production)
We will use Visual Admin “Deploy” deploy service to deploy EAR file of adapter module.
    Steps:
    1. Goto VM->Deploy service
    2. Select option “Deploy and start”
    3. Select EAR file provided for deployment
    4. Restart the service.
    5. Done
    follow this guide

  • PI 7.1 : File to JMS Scenario Help.

    Hello Experts,
We are trying to implement a scenario where in we want to send the data in the file as it is to the JMS adapter in 7.1 because the data is already in expected format. The file is generated by SAP.
The format of the data is:
    EDI_DC40  2000000000001044736700 0312  ZFDPFCI2                                                    ZDPFCOUT2                                  ZDPFCOSAPSD0    LS  SD0_200                                                                                PI        LS  DPFC                                                                                20100913041404                                                                                20100429062757      Z2FDPFCI2000                  200000000000104473600000100000001I000                            000000000                                                                                12345566677                                     12345566677                                                                                W                                                              JD]D[y
How can i achieve this? I have tried to put everything in a single field type string element and that doesn't work (parser error).
I don't want to go for FCC.
    Thanks!
    Harpreet

Following William's blog,  you can achieve it,  you can send any unstructured data through XI,
You don't have to create interface in ESR or IR.

  • Query Regarding File to IDOC Scenario (1:2)

    Hi,
I am working on a scenario like One File to Two IDOC's . In file we are getting some business functions (It's One feild in source file) , Some Business functions I need to map with One IDOC and some with other Idoc.
So I need to route a file content to two different Idoc's at a time.
I know this we can achieve this by using standard functions but not aware what to use.
So could anyone guide me how to achieve this..

    Hi Saydulu,
    >>n file we are getting some business functions (It's One feild in source file) , Some Business functions I need to map with One IDOC and some with other Idoc.
So you know which fields to map to idocA and whih to IdocB
    Now to configure this...
    1. create a Message Mapping
Add source as the message type which you created for file and target as the IDocs which you want to use .. Make sure you add them in the signature tab of message mapping. Here I will suggest to change the occurence of IDoc node befotre adding it to message mapping signature tab.. By default it is 1..1. To change the occurence download the XSD of Idoc and change the minoccur to 0 and maxoccurs to unbounded. This shopuld be done for both the Idocs.
    2. Create a interface mapping with the source message interface (or service interface) and target Idoc names. No need to create any service interface for Idoc, you can use the same Idocs (that is imported from SAP)
    3. Use this in interface determination of Integration Directory

  • How to procced with JMS scenario.

    Hello everyone,
I want to test File to JMS scenario.
I believe XI provides JMS adapter as a part of it, Am I correct?
II am totally blank , from where should I start :$----
    <b>which jar files i need?
From where can I get them ?
WhereI should I deploy them ?
    Any prerequisitives for it ?
Any setting to be done in SLD or anywhere else ?
And what other steps i need to do to implement any JMS scenario?</b>
I would appreciate anyone's help. Was trying to find some docuement on this in Sdn but docs confused me.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

    Gaurav,
In case you want to access an external JMS service provider like Sonic MQ and so on, then you will need to install the JMS drivers for the same.
To get the JMS drivers, you need to get which JMS service you are trying to acess, get the Drivers from that vendor and then install them on the XI server.
In case you are planning to use the JMS service provided by SAP XI's Web AS then you can refer to the blog Pointed above.
For how to install the drivers,

  • Regarding RFC connection in File to IDOC Scenario

    Hi everyone,
I was configuring file to Idoc Scenario, i have made all the required configurations in SLD, IR and ID, in XI system and in R/3 System. i have created RFC connection from XI to R/3 system, and its working fine. i have created an Partner profile in WE20 with sender file system name with inbound parameters. <i>But still i am getting error as EDI Partner Profile not defined in WE05- iDOC ADDED WITH ERRORS. </i><b>Do we need to create an RFC connection from R/3 system to XI for file to Idoc Scenario</b>
<b>!!! Note:  RFC connection from R/3 system to XI is not working, will this be a problem for file to idoc scenario. !!!</b>
    Regards,
    Varun Reddy.K

    Hi Varun
    Follow these steps
First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:
SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI
WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created
BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver
WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters
Second - Log on to XI System:
SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System
IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]
IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.

    Santosh

Here in IDOC to JDBC interface we need not to config sender Adapter..
    1) The main usage of a sender adapter is to convert the input format into the XI supported XML format.
Once the conversion is completed the sender agreement appends the header with the sender details.
In case of these adapters we wont require sender agreement and sender communicationchannel for the
    following reasons.
Sender agreement is associated with a namespace when we shoot an idoc frm r/3 if already contains its standard sap namespace. so those is need of sender agreement
The sender communication channel use is to identify the sending system and adapter, as the idoc header contains the details there is no need to sender.
These adapters resides on ABAP stack here the integration server takes care of IDOC/HTTP to XML conversion without requirement of adapter.
The business system that is sending the adapter has already been assigned to a techinical system which normally acts as an integration server...

  • XI 3 File to IDoc scenario - Still referencing Old Logical system

    Hi
Dont know if you can help. I have a file to idoc scenario  using XI 3 to R/3 4.6c system.
I had the interface working from a third party system XMLHUB to SAP R/3. The Logical system name for the XMLHUB was XMLHUB01 in the SLD which I have set up as a partner profile in R/3. I have recently changed the logical system name to XMLHUBDEV01 in the SLD and created that logical system in R/3 and changed the partner profile to XMLHUBDEV01.
Unfortunately in the sender information of the IDoc the partner number is still XMLHUB01 and not XMLHUBDEV01. I don't understand where this partner is sent from to get into the control record of the IDoc.
I have cleared the SLD cache in both the Repository and the directory. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Any help would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Daniel
