Regarding SAP Access Key

Hi Gurus,
How can we find out the access key details of a particular SAP installation.
( the installation is registered one) . Please help me in this regard.

If you are referring to Installation Number:
Follow the menu path in SAP GUI System -> Status, Installation number under SAP System Data.
Access Keys:
https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/support under Keys and Requests (You would need OSS username and password)

Is SAP Access Key same for edit of PCBURZ990??

Dear Experts,
I am new to payrol custome function (i.e pe04),after reading materials from this site,i started to develop payrol function but when i try to edit PCBURZ990 program in se38,i got access key required message and i entered same key which i got for abap development,but it is not accepting that key.
So i want to know,is it possible abap developement and PCBURZ990 have differenet access key..

Hi,
Getting Access key for objects is usually the job of the Basis consultant/Project Admin.
so contact them with the object name and the system installation number, they will get it for you.

When I am trying to make a change in SAP ERP Central Component 5.0, it is asking me for a access key so can anybody get me ECC 5.0 access key.

You dont have authorization for the user id you are useing.
SoGoto SU01.
Check the profiles tab in that you have SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL authorization.
OR
You can ask your basics person to give the access to your account

Yes, access key is required for editing object, and for different objects it will ask different access keys. So , you need to apply for access key at marketplace, each time.

I have to find the Repairs ( ie standard code is edited with access key ) done in my SAP ECC 6.0 system. I want to find out the repairs which was done my some developer using the access key and also want to segregate the ones which were done through the OSS notes and support packages. Hi CRV,
Access key is an obligatory key for ABAP developer. Only after filling it in, you can create and modify your programs in abap editor. You can search and download the access key generator on internet. There are a lot of websites provide this.

Hi Rajesh,
The thing is you have to registered an user as a developer user with sap.
Service.sap.com->Keys & request->SSCR Keys---Register Developers.
Even after doing this at times when you change any Repository object like any table, reports etc those are developed by SAP i mean not the z or y ones, the system will also ask you for an access key. Again you have to obtain the same from the above mentioned site Service.sap.com->Keys & request->SSCR Keys---> Register Objects.

Add BAPI to SAP case study flights - need access key

Hi,
i try to implement a BAPI which should be part of the business object "SFLIGHT" of the default case study of SAP.
If i try to change the business object "SFLIGHT", i receive a message window which asks for an access key to modify the business object.
I don't understand why SAP disables the change of the business object...this is not a productive environment, the case study should be for training purposes etc.
Can anybody tell me the access key or help me to change the business object?

Ok, now i know that it is not possible to change SAP-objects without beeing a registered developer. The registration process at the service marketplace is not possible with a trial version, so only customer-projects can be used in the trial version.
In my opinion, this makes no sense at all... but i found a workaround... i created a customer business object as a subtype of the SAP business object.

Access key needed when creating a new database table with SE11

Hi,
I'm using SAP Testdrive (evaluation) on linux in order to learn a bit about ABAP programming. I want to create a new database table in the dictionary to be used in my programs. I proceed in the following way:
1) I run the SE11 transaction
2) At the first entry I write the name of the table to be created (in the Database Table field)
3) I click on the create button.
But then the system asks me an Access Key to register, where can I get this?

Ok I found the answer to my question in another thread
Developer Key
Make sure that your program names starts with "Z" or "Y", otherwise the system will ask you to register the object because it thinks you are creating/changing in the SAP namespace.
In fact this was my error, my table name didn't start with neither "Z" nor "Y".

I go to Service market Place site, from SSCR Tab then I have to select a object from the list is TABL.
and enter the Particular Object & Table Name . Now I got it Access key for Particular Object.
