Regarding Support of OLE objects

Hi,
I have a migration tool that migrates data from Lotus Notes ECM. However i am not sure about Office Info Path 2010 that supports the creation of OLE objects or not. I just want to make sure if Info Path supports this feature(OLE Objects) , it would be helpful
if i am provided with some links regarding this and if it does not support how can i proceed further with my OLE Objects that i have in Lotus Notes ECM and migrate those to Office Info Path.
Since my test passed successfully when i migrated an simple attachment only from source Lotus Notes ECM to Info Path 2010 but OLE objects fails and i get nothing displayed in Info Path 2010 document.
Any comments/suggestions will help a lot.

Regarding Support package influence

hi gurus,
I have two questions to ask.
1.whether standard element lists like screen attributes,Fields,tables,Dataelements,Domains attributes
differ due to support package different in SAP systems. Please confirm.
2.using FM RS_GET_ALL_INCLUDES to fetch includes for SAPMF02K program.
It lists programs like this
   1) OIU_CM========================P,
   2) OIU_COMMON====================S
   But i cant see this code in SE80/SE38 Why.
Can somebody shed light on this.

Regarding support of jre

hi
is there any problem if we run any class which r running fine in 1.3 but not in 1.4 or 1.5.. is that problem related to jre 1.4 or 1.5 becouse it's not giving any warning regarding deprecation in 1.3 but it's giving in 1.4 and 1.5 while compilation.
the same code is running fine in tomcat 4.x but not 5.x ...
please giv some suggestion
tomcat 4.x support 1.4 jre while 5.x takes 1.5 jre

Regarding supported OS

So.. my collegue just noticed that Windows 2012 R2 is not officially supported as a protected member on a DPM2012SP1 setup.
Even better, DPM2012R2 supports windows 2012 R2 but drops support for Windows 2003 as a protected member.
Having 6 DPM servers on the same version (2012SP1 running on 2012 OS), do we need to setup an additional server to host the 2012R2 servers?
We actually already protect 2012R2 'clients' afaik, and it seems to work. of course "works" and "is supported" is not equal but still.
We need to keep support from 2003 through 2012R2, whats our best strategi. All dpmservers are general so the workloads and members are attached randomly

We will be releasing a UR2 patch that will add support back for Windows 2003 servers so DPM 2012 R2 UR2 will be able to protect Windows 2003 workloads. That fix should be released in the next System Center 2012 R2 patch cycle to be released soon.

Clarification required regarding support packages SAP_HR & SAP_HRCIN

hi all,
SAP is releasing their support-packs/correction-notes for two components namely SAP_HR & SAP_HRCIN. We use to download and update the support-packs/correction-notes released for SAP_HR component only. Please let me know what is this SAP_HRCIN for. Do we need to update the support-pack/correction-notes released for this component too. My company uses India Payroll, ECC6.0.

Issue regarding supported platforms manual for BO XI 3.1 sp2

In supported platforms manual for BO XI 3.1 sp2 windows there is a note on page 7 for specific patch level for OAS 10gR3 u201CPlease see release notes on the minimum version supported for Dashboard and Analytics.u201D We try to find on release notes (BOXI 3.1 & BOXI 3.1 sp2) for the exact patch level but there aren't any suggestions.
Could you please inform about the exact patch level that is needed on OAS 10gR3.

What is Apple's policy regarding supported browsers?

How long does Apple support a particular browser? On the website it looks like I can download 14 different versions + I can go to iTunes to download earlier versions - what's the policy? I want to make sure I can get help when I need it. :-)

Apple only has one Browser: Safari. You can't really download Safari for iPad as its built in and can only be udpated via the General Sytstem Updates.
Browser support for 3rd parrty browsers depends entirely on the developer of the App.
Not sure what you mean by 14 different versions though.

Right now we have Support pack 12 and client is recommending to go for support pack 32. This is a technical upgrade without any change in HR functionality. So how much impact in HR functionality if we go for support pack from 12 to 32

Presales question regarding support options at Apple Store

Hello, I am considering switching from a PC to a MacBook (not sure if Pro or not). I qualify for the educational discount and current free iPod promotion, but only if I purchase the product from my university's computer store or online (we don't have an Apple Store here yet). Unfortunately, this computer store does not have that great of a reputation for service. My city will be getting a new Apple Store that will open in July. My question is twofold: If I purchase the computer from the university store will I be able to get service at the Apple Store if I need it? Is there any benefit in waiting one month for the new store to open and for me to purchase the computer from there? Thank you kindly.

Absolutely.

No real benefit I can think of. You'll qualify for the BackToSchool promotion either way. So unless you feel that your campus reseller isn't competent to properly advise you on models, configurations, accessories, etc., there's little reason for you to wait until the Apple Store opens.

Can we Set the Default SAP Component while Creating Support Message

I think your logic is reversed. I think it's better to let users create messages from the application areas from which they are having the problem. Based on the standard SAP component which defaults into the component field, the ticket can be routed to one of your 20 teams. This is where the agent detemination rule for support team can be configured. There are a number of message on the forum regarding support team configuration. This way, if your 20 teams can't solve the problem (for example SAP defect) then the message can be forwarded directly to SAP using the correct component. Good luck.

Impeccable support from Apple...

Dear all,
I feel that I need to say this, in view of all the negative posts regarding support from Apple.
I am, admittedly, on my 4th MB. 1st's case was badly designed, and I returned it straight away as I had so many problems of the same ilk with my old PB. The next RSDd, but had great, if not perfect support from Apple, and came away with a perfect model, apart from its line out not working. I tour with my laptop, so this was retty much a killer for me. Now, here I am on my week 38 and am not having any problems at all.
While I know that some would consider a 4th replacement hard to bare, I have had wonderful support from the Regent Street store. They have been very accomodating and helpful, and most of all understanding. It seems that they take your situation in to account very seriously indeed, and I guess the only service I have had comparable to it is private banking. All of my cases have been reviewed individually, and I feel that they take all of them seriously, offering the best solutions they can.
I know that some have had bad experiences: the point of my post is not to gloat in any way at all, it is purely to say thanks to the staff who have been so helpful, and also to provide a very positive experience were anyone to do a search of these forums.
I do rely on Apple products for my profession, but in no way feel any affiliation with them for those reasons. I do feel very indebted to them, however, for providing great customer support and, whilst experiencing teething problems with their product, dealing with it in a very professional way indeed.
To those having difficulty, I wish the very best of luck, but I just wanted to add something that I feel is very positive to these forums which tend (of course, due to their nature) to be full of negative views.
