Regarding Table statistics.

Hi All,
I have checked last_analyzed for tables which are not current.Cud u plz guide me how to gather stats with detailed options? for both 9i and 10g database tables as follows.
1.)For 9i database tables,
OWNER OBJECT_NAME
DCSDBA INVENTORY_TRANSACTION
select last_analyzed,OWNER from dba_tables where table_name='INVENTORY_TRANSACTION';
LAST_ANAL OWNER
29-AUG-10 DCSDBA
2.)For 10g database tables,
SQL> select owner,object_name from dba_objects where object_name like 'ORDER%';
OWNER OBJECT_NAME
DCSDBA ORDER_HEADER
SQL> select last_analyzed,OWNER from dba_tables where table_name='ORDER_HEADER';
LAST_ANAL OWNER
09-AUG-09 DCSDBA

Hi,
Use
exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(ownname =>'OWNER',tabname =>'TABLE_NAME',cascade =>true,degree =>3);refer to [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/d_stats.htm#i1036461]
NOTE :- In 9i the default value for METHOD_OPT is 'FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1' whereas in 10g its 'FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE AUTO'
