I am looking at the table K9RR3D2000003 - Derivation rule:COPA Revenue type derivation from SO Type. Can someone please tell me the Transaction and SAP IMG path to access this table and to make entries.

Corrupted table and associated mappings

I believe I caused a problem by reimporting a table into the owb. All the mappings with the table became undeployable and any new mappings with table were undeployable and created hanging sessions when attempting to deploy. Export and Import also led to an error. Tried deleting table and importing again but have fear in my heart now.
Cannot import from exported file. This is the error:
MDL1407: Cannot import TABLE with business name <T_DETAILS> matching by object identifier because a TABLE <MER.MER.T_DETAILS> with the same physical name <T_DETAILS> but different object identifier already exists.
Do i need to start wacking packages in my target schema or the owb schema?

Hi,
The object which you are going to import having different object identifier.
Try changing the parameters while Importing as follows.
Import option as "Add new metadata and replace existing objects"
Match By as "Physical Names"
If the problem still exists, remove the object which you are going to import from OWB and try.
If you feel problem, then take a backup snapshot for safer side.

Check Table is for Field level Validation whereas Value table is for Domain Level Validations.
Value Table proposes table for check table.

Check Table
The Check Table is the table used by system to check if a data exist or not exist.
While creating a table if you want to be sure that a field can have some values
and these are in a certain table, you can give IT this table as CHECK TABLE.
Value Table
This is maintained at Domain Level.
When ever you create a domain , you can entered allowed values. For example you go to Domain SHKZG - Debit/credit indicator.
Here only allowed values is H or S.
When ever you use this Domain, the system will forces you to enter only these values.
This is a sort of master check . .
To be maintained as a customization object.
This mean that if you want to enter values to this table you have to create a development request & transport the same.
Differences:
1)check table will carry out the check for input values for the table field being entered in any application
and value table will provide values on F4 help for that table field.
2)The check table defines the foreign keys and is part of the table definition.
The value table is part of the domain definition.
check table is validation at field level.
value table is at domain level.
Value table is defined at the domain level and is used to provide F4 help for all the fields which refer to that domain.
Check table is defined against a field in SE11 if you want the values in that field to be checked against a list of valid values. For e.g. if you are using the field matnr in a table you could define MARA as the check table.
Also while defining a check table SAP proposes the value table as check table by default. Referring to the previous example if you tried to define a check table for the matnr field SAP would propose MARA as the check table.

i have two tables ZTAB1 and ZTAB2.
I have one common field in both the tables,i can make any ztable to be the check table .If i make Ztab1 to be the check table then when i have to make an entry in ztab2 i will check whether ztab1 is having that value or not..
its also field level checking..
Valuetable-It is nothing but default check table.
one parent can have n number of child tables.For example
For ztable we have zchild1 and zchild2 tables r there.
Its domain level checking..When zchild2 uses the same domain as used by zchild1 then the system automatically generates a popup saying a check table already exists would u want to maintain it.
go to domain and then press the value tab u can see the valuetable at the end...

Hi every body ,
can u pls give me Source of finding the list of standard tables and their contents
such that i can refer to those tables to determine what should be the Mandatory data elements .
i need just 2 determine what is required and what not ?

Hi,
Search for SAP Tables in www.sap-img.com. You will find a Zip file, this has most of the tables used in most of the modules. Check those tables and find which are all the primary fields.

Unable to print main window and associated secondary windows in next page

Hi All,
iam print line items values in first page by using main window (table) and associated terms &condition in second window(template).
But i want terms & condition to printed in other page.I tried to create COMMAND to manually trigger second page but it doest work.
Kindly suggest.
Attached is snap shot of current output(Shaded region are space of dat window).Also attached is overlapping of main and secondary windows.
Since i need to increase the above template sizes i shifted main window and other 2 secondary window downwards so i wanted them to print in next page.

Comparing columns in table and triggers

hi masters,
i have oracle 10g in Linux and us PL/SQL developer to access database, ia m not a developer, but am assigned task to compare columns in table and associated trigger.
let me explain, we have 800 tables, and each table essentially have a trigger created on it. the condition is that each trigger on table should include each column in table, that is columns in table and trigger should be same.
now i don't understand how to compare them, rather can you suggest any query for the same?? and comparing 800 tables manually will be tedious job...
i am unable to compare trigger columns with that of tables..
how can we achieve this???
any suggestions??

DB2 Table locks after SAP Gui crashes

Hi,
I have a really annoying problem. Since my SAP Gui crashes sometimes, when I have nearly the limit of sessions open, I get serious problems with table locks in DB2.
Background:
When I run a program, which is updating/deleting/inserting data in SAP tables and the SAP Gui crashes, the table entries, which have been processed at that time get locked. So when SAP is then doing the roll back, the locks still exist!
The SAP basis guys have restarted the system for me, when I got this problem before, but it's really annoying, when this happens again...
I mean, of course the SAP gui shouldn't crash, but anyway the locks should be deleted by SAP during roll back, right?
Does anybody know this problem and does anybody know how to solve it without restarting the machine?

true, the SAP Gui is also an issue I have to solve... But anyway the table lock should not occur.
If you think about some other situations, where the process can be interrupted:
- Calling a BAPI synchronous via RFC, which is updating/inserting/deleting table records
- Windows bluescreen
- etc....
Whatever, it is really annoying to be in the need of restarting the system, when a process is going to be interrupted...
Any ideas to this anyone?

Insert /delete data from SAP Z table to Oracle table and opposite

Can u help me write this FM from the SAP side?
So, I have two tables ZTABLE in SAP and Oracle table ORAC.
Let's put three columns in each of them, for example
TEL1
TEL2
ADRESS
NAME
where TEL field is primary from ZTABLE to ORAC...
(in FM there shoud be abap code for writing data in ZTABLE after we press some pushbutton made in sap screen painter..)
for example, when we write new record in ZTABLE

this data shoud be inserted in Oracle table ORAC.
when we write new record in Oracle table for example

this data shoud be inserted in ZTABLE.
Field TEL1 can be only of two values 01 or 02, other combination is not valid...
I must have all data from Oracle table ORAC in ZTABLE and opposite.
It should be the same scenario for DELETE...
And this communication should be online between sap and table in oracle database...
Can u help me from sap side? and give idea how to configure on oracle side??

I dont know if we can directly connect to a oracle database ( wait for the answers from others on this )
but in XI we have the JDBC adaptor to insert and retrieve data.
so for the outbound from SAP the flow can be something like this (with XI in landscape):
1) You have a screen to maintain a new entry / delete an entry
2) On save , this record gets saved or deleted from the Ztable in SAP
3)) In the same screen you can call a proxy class-method (generated using SPROXY transaction ) to send the record to XI.
4) XI to format it and insert into the oracle table

Let me ask you one base Question, On which area are you working? Are you from functional side or Technical side (Developement or Basis guy)?
This is very clear cut answer that with the restricted autorization you can protect table and programs. Do not provide the change autorization.
CATCH your BASIS guy and he will do rest of the things. Just explain him what are you want to protect.

To upload SH customers in Temporary table and create customers master in SAP

Hope you are doing great ---Need you help/advice on the below thought
we receive an excel file listing accounts that need to be set up as customer recipients I.E customer master in SAP system . we receive a file in the from of spread sheet and then we manually create the same in SAP system. Since this size of this indirect customers is growing day by day business has decided to automate this process
proposed solution-
1.Modify the file received from external system to format required for loading in SAP and add all the mandatory fields in the customer master
2.Load the file into a temporary tablein SAP ( transaction code)
3.verify the data and approve for actual customer creation in SAP ( create inbound idols to create customer master data in SAP)
4.check how many customers created in SAP with standard T.code
From the step 3 above the idea is to create an an inbound idoc . Debmas and etc to create the customers in SAP system .
Not sure how to go about this to achieve this functionality. I need to understand what all does it takes to see this functionality work
will be great help if any of you can forward me the technical specs or details if you have worked on the same

Hi Mohit,
I think you are mixing solutions. I think you don't need to create an inbound idoc, because this requirement could be achieve using a LSMW. Create a batch recording, use the Excel structure, even you could add the missing (necessary) fields to create the customer. By standard, the LSMW will create a temporal table and will check duplicate customers, using for example the tax number (assuming this number can't be repeated).
Another solution if you are planning to upload data directly from the source system, on this case you could use the inbound idoc.

How are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?

how are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?
Most tables with attribute master data like T001 for company codes,
have a text master data table T001T (add "T" to table name).
When looking at the content of table T001 via transaction se11,
the text are automatically joined.
But for some tables there is no "T"-table (e.g. table TVBUR for sales offices
has no text table TVBURT), but in se11 you get texts. There is an address
link in TVBUR, but the Name1, etc. are empty.
a) Where are the text stored?
b) How does the system know of the link?

The master and text table are not linked by name, of course, if you see the text table, it has the same key fields of master table, only it has the field key spras and the field for description.
The link beetween the tables is done by foreign key: if you check the text table TVKBT u need to see how the foreign key for field VKBUR is done:
-> Foreing key with table TVBUR
-> Foreing key field type -> KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE
->Cardinality-> 1-:CN
It's very important the attribute sets for Foreing key field type, if it's KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE, it'll mean the table is a text table: i.e. that mean the master table is a check table for the text table, where the foreign key type is for text table.
U can find out the text table of master table by SE11: GoTo->Text Table
U can fined some information in table DD08L.
