Registration email confirmation not received

I purchased AppleWorks 6.2.9 on October 7/06. I have tried registering it three times since then. I get a message on the Apple website thanking me for registering and saying I will get a confirmation email, but I never get the confirmation email. I phoned Apple Tech Support and they told me to post the problem to this discussion forum.
Any suggestions as to why I'm not getting an email confirmation from Apple? I know they have my correct email because I confirmed it in My Info.

Thanks for your help, Barry and Peggy. In terms of what you suggest, Barry, that support option appears to only be for hardware and not software. When I tried to register my AppleWorks, I was asked to put in my marketing number, which is on the outside of the box. I tried to put in this marketing number as you suggested and it was not accepted.
I got an email from Apple Care (1-800-263-3394) shortly after my responses from both of you on October 11 asking about how I felt about the handling of my phone call to them. I responded the same day on the website provided expressing my dissatisfaction. There has been no follow up to this feedback.
I phoned 1-800-MY Apple this morning, October 16, and, after about 22 minutes on hold, was connected with Tracy, who then put me through to a product specialist named Andy. Andy was not sure why I did not receive a confirmation email, but he said he would make a note about my problem. He gave me a case number and said if there was any problem to refer to the case number.
I listed an alternate email on the My Info page, so if there was a problem with my first email, a confirmation could have been sent to the alternate.

    it has user-registration and the possibility to do polls (among other functionalities).

    Your mail server doesn't like the sender's address for some reason, perhaps because his mail server has been blacklisted for spamming.

    If your invitation email was not received, it can be sent again.
    Simply login to your crystalreports.com and navigate to the Users tab. The user should appear to be "grayed out". Hover over the user, but not directly over the name, click on the whitespace or the drop arrow in the box around the user. Select Resend Invitation and your invitation will be sent.If you cannot receive email from crystalreports.com, check the posts on the Working With Email thread.

    No. it was deleted and the trash was emptied, there is no record of it. If it was never delivered to you, there is no record of it.
    Actually, there may be a record if it was actually delivered to you, but without a court order, you're probably not going to get access to those records.
    Unless you or the sender are terrorists or pedophiles, I doubt you're going to be able to get a court order for it.

  • Hpconnected confirm email address not received

    I bought my printer on 8/9/2013 and set it up that evening. Part of setting it involved creating an account for eprintcenter. When I went to create the account, I got set up for HPConnected.
    I can't get HPConnected to send me emails to allow me to confirm my email address. I have no problem receiving mail, and I even cut and pasted the address from my account settings and used it to send an email just to make sure the address on my account was correct.
    When I go to the Collections tab, I'm not allowed to do anything, and I get a dialog that says I need to confirm the address before it will allow me to manage the files there. I've tried the resend confirmation email option on that warning several times but still have not received any email allowing me to confirm my email address.
    I've verified it's not getting trapped in my spam folder.
    How do I get my account to allow me to manage my documents?

    Hi Sethaniel, there was some small amount of system downtime earlier this week that may have coincided with your attempts to have the email confirmation request sent to you from HP Connected. Are you still having the problem? I've tried it just before I posted this reply and it worked. I've attached a screnshot of the email you should receive here.

  • Email notification not received

    We have a incident that user and admin is not received the email notification to lotus notes id.other users receiving the notifications from the same application.Same user and admin receiving mails from other applications
    SWI1 no error but in SOST there is no record of a mail sent.
    Have checked SU01 the user has an email address maintained both in ESS and R/3.
    As per config SO16 - home address is selected.
    In the profile his external email id is selected as home address.
    what should i check next to sort out the issue.

    could you tell something about the application which has this behaviour as this could be technology dependent.
    As an example e-recruiting uses smartforms and sending them as e-mails requires a printer assigned to the user running the application. If a user has no printer assigned no message is send and no entry appears in SOST.

  • Email receipt not received from Apple Store.

    Before Christmas, I bought a Macbook Pro from Apple Store in Chicago but have not received the receipt by email as promised.  I'm not in Chicago anymore so I can't go back to the store.  Can anyone suggest how to get a receipt?

    Assuming you've checked any spam filters to make sure the email wasn't trapped, all I can suggest is for you to call them and ask for the receipt to be resent.

  • Order confirmation and email confirmation not have same information?!?

    I just place an order online, I don't know why the order confirmation email does not have the same information as the original order confirmation.  
    After I hit the button to place the order, the order confirmation page clearly showed:
    -  the installation appt on July 23, 2015 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM in green color
    -  the order summary include "$350 Visa prepaid card" in green color
    -  the estimate bill is 154.92
    But in the email confirmation, it provided  total different thing:
    - no where on the email order confirmation  said about $350 Visa prepaid card.
    - the installation appt somehow change to July 28, 2015 8:00AM - 5:00 PM (<- move to 5 days later with an 8 hours window to expect people to take whole day off  from work to get installation?)
    - the estimate bill become 241.22 (<- move up 86.3)
    Does the email confirmation have the wrong information or Is it normal that Verizon automatically make change to the order after it submitted? Bill increase, date install change and no more prepaid card?

    Note the bill estimate on the email may have certain extra charges, hopefully all correct.  You will need to check when you get actual bill.  Things like install fee (if not waived) and partial month charges.  I don't remember if other taxes and fees are also included on one but not the other. YOU ARE NOT TALKING TO VERIZON ON THESE FORUMES.  The forums are mostly peer to peer.

  • Sending photos via email but not receiving

    I have been sending photos from my Iphone 5 to email addresses and it goes whoosh but I am not receiving?

    The email is getting to the user but the embedded photos come up as red crosses but they are not attached separate. They have worked on the odd occasion but not recently

  • ICloud alias email address not receiving mail

    MacBook Pro, OS X 10.7.5,  Firefox 21.0, software current.
    When I send an email from my Optonline email account within Mac Mail to an iCloud (recently set up) alias email account, it is not received at the online iCloud site. If I send an email to my primary Mac address, it shows up fine at iCloud email.
    When I go to the iCloud site, I can send outgoing emails from all addresses which are received OK back at my MacBook Pro.
    Using Safari does not change things.
    Why are the emails to the alias address not showing up at iCloud.
    Any ideas? Is there some set-up I need to toggle on, on another device (iPhone 4S and iPad Mini)?

    OK I think I have this figured out here. Looks like a case of operator error on this end in the beginning. Sorry for all the detail below, but if it helps anyone I hope it is worth it.
    1. Per suggestion of Carolyn Samit elsewhere, I went into Apple>System Preferences>Internet and Wireless>iCloud and deselected Mail and Notes. I then repeated the above, but toggled the Mail and Notes back on.
    2. I sent another test message to my iCloud alias address, per the routine set out in the first post above, with a BCC back to me, which immediately appeared in the MacBook Pro Mail Inbox.
    3. I left the Sent message in the Sent folder, and the BCC in the Inbox.
    4. I then signed into iCloud and opened Mail.
    5. Lo and Behold, my test message was in both the Sent folder and the Inbox in iCloud Mail.
    Lesson to be learned from the different process I had used earlier -- iCloud mimics exactly what I had previously done on my MacBook Pro (which was not detailed above because it did not seem important at the time). Previously, after sending a test email, I immediately moved the Sent message into a special folder on the MacBook Pro, and also immediately moved the BCC copy in the Inbox into the same special folder in Mac Mail.
    iCloud mimic'd these moves, so when I went there in the early stages of this  process (after having already moved two emails into special folders on the laptop), there were no emails to be seen at iCloud.
    This last time just now, I left the emails in my Inbox and Sent folders at the laptop, and they WERE in the corresponding folders at iCloud.
    Now, to toggle off Mail and Notes in Apple System Preferences and see what happens?

  • Email does not receive outlook or gmail email

    My ipad2 sends messages without a problem but will not receive mail from any other server outside of the company server. I only receive e-mail from within the Company.   Most of my colleagues have ipad 1st generation and have no issues. 
    I have double checked to ensure that the ipad2 mail settings are exactly the same as those on the ipad 1st generation.  We have another person with an ipad2 and she is having the same trouble.  Is there something we have missed?

    You did not say if you are using Mail on the Touch but I will assume so. I had similar results using Mail on the Touch with a Comcast account. I ended up using Comcast Mobile web site to get my mail. Comcast has a lot of trouble with their mail system. So I would not be so quick to blame Apple. Maybe someone could suggest a App. that works better then Apple's mail. I have a Hotmail account too and found a good app. for that. I would have to say that Apple Mail only worked well when I had a Mobile Me account. You could try and go to Comcast's help site and make sure the port information is correct. I remember Comcast requiring different settings if you are not using a Comcast broad band connection.

  • How to send email but not receive it

    I have 2 email addresses, one for work, and one for other. I like my work email to be forwarded to my Gmail because it archives all of my messages. But in Mac Mail I want to send email from both accounts and only receive from my gmail. Currently I receive duplicate messages on every message because it gets mail from both places and if its a message to my work email, since its forwarded I get it twice.
    I already checked, do not check this mailbox when automatically checking for updates, and that works some of the time, but if I need to hit the Get Mail button, it gets mail from that, and I go from 7 messages to 850.
    So is there way to be able to have an email address just to send from and not get mail from?

    what you describe is strange. how exactly do you forward messages from the work account to gmail? if you do it on the server then there should be no duplicates and your work mailbox on the server should be simply empty.
    to send from two accounts yopu can try the following. delete the work account in Mail (that will delete all maiboxes associated with it). then add your work email address separated by command to your gmail address in mail preferences->accounts. also add the smtp server for that address to the list of smtp servers. you'll have to manually choose the "from' address and the smtp server when you send mail but it might work if your work smtp server doesn't complain (it might).

  • My mac email will not receive messages due to icloud

    I have a Mac OS X verison 10.5.8.  Weeks ago I thought I had moved from mobileme to icloud. This morning my apple email stopped receiving but it could send out messages.  I called Apple and was told that I have to upgrade to  Snow Leopard and then to Lion so because my current version is not compatible with Icloud.  Until the upgrades are done, I can only check my incoming emails on the iCloud website.  Something doesn't seem right here.

    Yes you will be unable to use your email address after June 30, 2012, if you do not update your MobileMe account to an iCloud account.
    You can upgrade your account and continue to use the email address in your mail application by entering the details manually. You will not however be able to use any other features of iCloud.

  • Can send icloud email but not receive

    I setup iCloud last night linked to my apple ID. Today I have created a new @me.com address in order to sync mail and notes.
    I can send e-mail from this address, but anything that gets sent to it just bounces back, like below from outlook.
    The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to.

    I have the same issue....it only affects my me.com email account that I setup to utilize iCloud.   I can receive email OK but get an error when sending,,,,,"The connection to the outgoing server p07-smtp.mail.me.com failed."
    I go to settings to check the smtp settings and it won't let me change them.
    Any thoughts?
