I am using curve 8520. By mistake i have deleted all bydefault games. How do i re install the same.?

You need to use the Desktop Software:

If you don't have the Desktop Software, you obtain it from here:
http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/?lid=us:bboftwareesktopSoftware&lpos=us:bboftware
Install it to your PC and then tether your BB to your PC (via USB) when the Desktop Software instructs.
If you are not presented with what the KB instructs, then you should also download and install (to your PC) the Device OS Package that matches the OS that is installed on your BB:

Core app says 3310 mhz

i used the core app to oclock i guess using the auto function. after a while it froze completely. when i hit reset up came dram timming to tightly message, but it booted ok. when i open the core app it says it's running at like 3310. is this meaning it's overclocked to 3310mhz? the cpu is a P4 2.4c ghz. I'm not sure it is overclocked tho because 3dmark 2001 SE frame rate in the lobby scene durring the benchmark is still around the same 90fps or so in some parts and i would think going from 2.4c ghz to 3.3ghz it would be at least 105fps since i overclocked it 900 mhz.
after looking at the 3dmark 2001 se score, it's now 16k something and running at 2.4ghz it's 13k something. also the results window thing says it's 3.31ghz. cool.

Overclocking generates extra heat, stresses your hardware and therefore has a detrimental effect on its lifetime. Ensuring you are getting the maximum amount of performance with the minimum amount of risk is a delicate balance.
A piece of software running under Windows does not (as yet) consider this. Do some research on Core Center and you will find MSI very wisely indemnify themselves against any risk of your hardware failing. This program raises the FSB until it either encounters sufficient errors to cause it to back off slightly or as with you (and most others) until the system hangs.
You're using it because its easy and convenient. You say it works, but contradict yourself by talking about Wolfenstein crashing. The most likely reason for this is that your BIOS has still got Dynamic Overclocking set to the default Private setting. So having used CC to find your maximum stable (ish) FSB you run Wolf ET, the processor detects a high usage, DOT kicks in and increases the FSB further and the whole thing hangs - this is partially because of CC, partially because of DOT and partially because Radeon GPU's aren't particularly fond of being dynamically overclocked just as their starting to work hard.
DOT and CC are a marketing executives dream and a technology showcase, but just because you can do it, doesn't always mean you should!
The main arguments against using software to overclock you have already found - its not particularly stable, you dont have any idea of exactly what is going on at any given time, and you have to be very careful how you configure it.
REILLY875 was merely warning you off it before it caused you a major headache.
As Danny so eloquently put it, there is a huge amount of information available on CC and overclocking on this forum and your best course of action is to do some research and formulate your own opinion.

Core Apps Missing 9720

I'd like to install Russian language on my sim free Blackberry 9720 bought in UK (Carphone Warehouse). According to instructions I'm trying to find core apps in Blackberry Desktop software but there are no core apps. After searching on forums I tried to install 9720 software on my PC but only O2 version is available and there are still no core apps. Also I tried to launch Blackberry Desktop Software with administrative rights but nothing changes. How can I install Russian language on my 9720?

The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:

It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
Use this KB to guide you to choosing the proper OS package (which can be from any carrier):

5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.

Reinstallation of cc app

A few months ago, I accidentally deleted one of the creative cloud apps, Lightroom 5.3, from my desktop. I tried downloaded it again from the creative cloud site, and the creative cloud app pops up and nothing happens. How did I get the app back?

How to stop e-mail downloads once in email app

Really annoying thing: First, it's bad enough that you HAVE to download e-mails as soon as you press the e-mail app, rather than choosing which account you want to collect e-mails from once the app is open (only way round this is to completely switch off individual accounts).
But even worse, I find that once I'm in the app and e-mails are downloaded, switching between accounts downloads AGAIN. In other words you cannot just "view" the e-mails on one account then switch to another to "view". Each switch to the other account invokes another download even if you just did so ten seconds ago.
If there is a way around this I would be grateful to know.
If there isn't, then this is a major flaw. Sometimes the user simply wants to view headers in a particular e-mail account, not perpetually download everytime a n account is accessed.

I assure you I haven't misunderstood in the way you imply. In (nearly) all other respects the iphone is fine. It is now widely accepted that iphone's e-mail client is inflexible and not very good.
If you run multiple e-mail accounts you do not always want every account to download every e-mail. When away from my office for example, I don't want all my personal e-mails downloaded every time I press the e-mail icon, especially if there are lots of them (including the usual liberal dose of spam). I just want to download urgent business e-mails which require an urgent answer. But this is not possible unless I laboriously go into settings and manually switch the whole account on or off. But if it is off I cannot get into them just to view the current e-mails there.....I am forced to download a new lot.
Let's look at an average PC or Mac e-mail client: You can choose to immediately download e-mails on opening it, or for it to be permanently accepting e-mails as in the background, or you can choose to start the app and THEN choose which accounts you want to upload and download.
You cannot get anywhere near this on the iphone. Sure, there is "push" and "fetch" and "manual", but it isn't really "manual" at all. The problem is that unless you completely switch off each account, you'll get every e-mail currently on your ISP server. You also cannot simply view the current e-mails without downloading fresh ones. The whole point of a half decent e-mail client is that it does what YOU want it to do, not what it dictates.
The solution is simple: To have the OPTION of opening the e-mail client and THEN deciding which account you want active, or to download to. If it wasn't for the fact that Apple clearly doesn't want any rivals to its own core apps, this would have been implemented by a third party years ago.

Can't download any apps off my phone, Tablet dos not connect to phone

Someone please help me, cause I am honestly about to loose my mind. I have a Torch and I've only had it for a year now and all my services arent working, I'm considering switching to an IPhone if I can't figure this all out today.
So first problem I'm trying to buy one single app off app world billing threw Roger's Canada and it keeps saying there was some error, I looked it up on the website and apperently you just have to switch to debit or paypal, I don't like using online payment methods like that why can't I just get it on my bill? Either way they get the money, I don't see how its so difficult to just bill threw my service provider. I also have no time to call them and tell them all I want to order, I just want ONE $1.99 app, I'm not going to sit on the phone for 20 minutes+ for one app, then have to do it again when I want another app. I have been trying to buy the same one app for about 2 months now, seriously I just want to buy the app and get it over with how is that so hard? I want to bill threw my Service Provider it takes two seconds to put it on my bill.
Next problem, the blackberry bridge on my phone/tablet has just stopped working and disappeared. I paid $500 for this tablet that I was advised not to buy because Blackberry was "going down the whole" so much for having faith in the company, this thing is a peice of junk. And apperently so is my phone, again how is it all the sudden my bridge disappeared? I can't connect my phone to it now? So why didn't I just get a cheaper tablet that could do the exact same things??? I don't know if these are new problems in the system or something but I have been trying to hook up my phone to this tablet for a while it used to work then I upgraded the software and now its gone and I've tried everything its just not coming back. Like I don't understand, why would you not put the Blackberry Bridge in the updated version? And why is it deleted off my phone? Then when I try to re-install it, it says its still there.
Very disappionted in Blackberry right now, nothing on my phone is working and it seems I'm not the only one.

Well, I can't tell...has it been working fine for a year, and this suddenly started? If so, what happened just before this behavior started? Undo that to see if it helps. If it's not been working at all for a year, well...I'm not sure how to reply to that...you must have great patience indeed, though.

Oh how I do wish you'd have given us the actual error message...otherwise, you leave us guessing...but, in short, each carrier decides if they will allow carrier billing or not. It's their choice to do so, or not. I've no idea if Rogers allows it or not.
Also, if you are part of a BES environment, it's possible your BES admins have restricted carrier billing...they, too, have the right to do whatever they must to enforce company policies. But, again, without details, this remains just another guess.

I completely disagree with your opinions there...but no matter, they are indeed opinions. There are plenty of people who are getting quite a bit of good use out of both types of devices.

Well, once again, the lack of details makes it pretty difficult to diagnose. "I can't connect" is pretty useless as far as symptom descriptions go. For instance, what exact steps do you attempt? What exactly happens with each step? Any error messages? If so, once again, the complete and accurate error message is critical to helping you.

Again, "tried everything" isn't terribly useful to us...we aren't clairvoyant... Have you tried completely removing the pairing of the two devices and re-configuring them from scratch? Also, what software did you upgrade? Your BB OS? Your PB? From what version(s) to what version(s)? Did you re-install the Bridge from scratch?

Updated version of what? BB Bridge is an add-on app, not used by everyone. As such, including it inside the core apps would be a waste of AppMemory for those who do not need it.

Well, you did some kind of upgrade or update, but since we don't know yet exactly what that was, we can only guess. And my guess is that you somehow updated your BB OS, and as such, you need to re-install all of your add-on apps. It is ALWAYS better to reinstall add-on apps when you upgrade the OS...some may not be compatible with the new OS you have installed. Some may have a different version for the OS you installed. Plus, reinstalling add-ons is always better so as to be sure that they are properly installed after such a major update of the BB OS.

Why don't I have my App Store apps after upgrading to iOS5?

I just upgraded my iphone to iOS5. Before upgrading I created a backup in iTunes. After upgrading I restored from backup. All of the apps I downloaded/purchased from the App store are now missing on my iPhone Only the core apps that come preinstalled on iOS5 are present.
However, all the music, contacts, and photos that were previously on my iphone are still there (ie the contents and settings in the core apps have been restored). Also, folders that I had previously put core apps into have been recreated.
Does this point to any error I made in the upgrade process? I didn't transfer purchases from iPhone to iTunes when prompted before the upgrade, nor do I sync apps between iPhone and iTunes. I assumed all this content would be included in the backup.

To answer my own question. Yes, the steps I took prior to upgrade were insufficient to have my apps restored after the upgrade. I should have checked sync apps in iTunes or manually transferred purchases from iPhone to iTunes prior to upgrade.

I purchased my iMac using the same (and only) Apple ID I use to purchase apps. Third-party apps update fine, but the apps that came with my iMac (iPhoto, iMovie, etc) bring up a message saying I have to log in with the account I used to purchase them.

I used my only Apple ID to purchase my iMac (Intel-based one). I've never been able to update core apps that came with it. I can update third party apps I've bought (like Coda), but when I try to update Garage Band, iPhoto, iMovie and so on, a popup message appears saying "You have updates available for other accounts" and "Log in with the account you used to purchase this app in order to update it", or similar (see screenshot above).
The OS seems to get its updates fine - it's just the core apps from the App Store.
I've only ever had one Apple ID, so I have no idea what to do. I went to ask the Genius bar at my local Apple store, and they couldn't help, and insisted that I must have purchased the iMac using a different account, but I definitely didn't. There are a few posts on non-Apple forums of this happening to other people, so it must be a rare bug.
I'm a little concerned it may affect my ability to update from Lion to Mountian Lion. Can anyone help?

Have you done a Disk Repair and a Disk Permissions Repair?
If that doesn't resolve the problem I would suggest calling customer support about this issue as it is most likely on their (Apple's) end that the problem exists.

Backing up saves your settings and other stuff on core apps but it doesnt save your appdata(that's is the main thing i am looking for) so it wont restore that when i restore it from the backup i create and this article too says it http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4972 so i would like too know how do i keep my data stored in apps from the appstore if there is any way to keep the data. Thanks anyway. If anyone else knows a way then please help as i accidentally clicked on this solved my question. :|

How do I remove the watch app from iOS

I just updated my iOS and now have a watch app icon I can not remove.
I don't want it there. I don't want an apple watch. I will not be buying an apple watch. It's a waste of memory on my device.
My phone is not an advertisement space for the marketing of apple's products. I feel it's crossing a line now with the watch app.
How do I remove this app from my iphone?

You cannot remove the Watch app. It is a core app like Health, Weather, Compass, etc. Move it to the last page of your Home screens, or put it in a folder if you don't want to see it.

BB Maps icon missing. Not possible to re-install app

Hello everyone.
I have a small problem that a lot of users seem to have with BB 8900. A Blackberry Maps application has been installed on my device (version 4.6.1), but the icon to start it up is missing. I have seen some posts regarding that problem but none of the proposed solutions seem to work, including reinstallation of the app (upon trying I get a message that Blackberry Maps is not compatible with the software I have installed). I have recently updated OS to 4.6.1.231 (platform 4.2.0.108) so my soft is definately up-to date. I am clueless as to what to do now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Desktop Software 6.0 (PC) does not show OS 6 system software and core applications

I have installed DM 600_b047 on my PC (running WinXP w/ SP3). I have also installed both OS 6.0.0_rel862 and 5.0.0_rel1385 on the same PC. When I connect my Bold 9000 to the PC, DM shows everything that is installed on the device. However, when disconnect the Bold and I connect my Torch 9800, DM shows only the third-party apps installed on the device. DM does not show the System Software, Core Applications, Phone, etc. that are installed on the Torch.
On another PC (also WinXP w/ SP3), I have installed the same DM and OS software. DM on the latter PC shows all System Software, Core Apps, 3rd-party apps, etc. of both the Bold and Torch.
I would appreciate any suggestions how to get my other PC to show all BB software installed on the Torch. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the DM and OS software on the one PC. It did not resolve my issue.

Here's how I resolved my issue:
1. On the DM's Applications page, click the "Import files" button.
2. Drill down to the folder containing the .alx files of the BB OS. In my case, that would be "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800M_v6.0.0.284_P6.4.0.120"
3. Select the alx files shown.in the files window..
4. Click the "Open" button of the dialog box.
5. Wait for DM to finish processing the selected files.
Voila! Now I see all the apps.
Maybe RIM's software and/or system engineers can explain how the DM software got into the condition where it apparently had not selected the .alx files.

External WebService call from CAF Core returns Invalid soap message

I am trying to perform the very simple action of calling a WebService from a CAF Core app service.
1. I imported the WS (Axis Web service running on NW 2004s SP9 server) with WSDL (option 2 on import external service page).
2. I then assembled the call in an app service method and invoke it.
3. I made sure to configure the end point for the service and the method using the External Service configuration.
When I execute the CAF core method using a simple Callable Object test client, I get the following error:

The only problem I can think off is that the transfer-encoding is marked as chunked which is causing the characters '1f3' and '0' to appear after and before the response and that this is causing the app to crash.
192.168.99.120 is the server the hosts the WS. It is also a 2004s SP9 server. The client server that hosts the CAF core service is of the same configuration. 8078 is the port I redirect for tcpmon purposes.
Could anyone shed some light on my problem?

It looks like NW WS client cannot handle Transfer-encoding of chunked even though this is part of HTTP 1.1. What seems to be happening is that the NW WS client is creating a HTTP 1.1 request. The service (axis ws running on NW) seeing this is creating a HTTP 1.1 response w/ chunked encoding. However, the client cannot handle this encoding and barfs. The solution is to change the service to return a HTTP/1.0 response since NW cant handle HTTP 1.1.
