Rejecting a source file based on validation
Hi,
I hav an xls file as source.
I want to check, whether one of its field matches the specified validation criteria.say "p_num>6" where p_num is a column name in d xls file.
If the condition is not satisfied,then i dont want to process the file instead i want to jus reject the file and capture the error message.
Can any1 help me rgarding this especially how to stop the processing of the file.
Moreover, i also want to know, that by using procedures can i query xls files???

Hi All,
i need to collect two source files based on the file name in BPM and then process it.
Lets say, i need to collect a header file and a items file. but any point of time, there can be more than one header and more than one item file in the source folder. and i need to collect the header and its corresponding/related item file.
can anyone help me how to achieve it in BPM? whats the correlation i need to give? is it possible to have a java code executed in BPM?
Is it possible to take care of this at adapter level itself while picking the file? if so, whats the file name scheme can i give?

we can have the header file as header and item file as item. basically based on our convenient we can suggest the file name to the sender. so scheme can be anything that fits our requirement -

Note that a grant of execute on a procedure has nothing to do with grants of select on some or all of QA's tables and views.
So, as Vadim suggests, from your connection node in SQL Developer's Connections view, if you expand the Other Users node, then expand QA and look in the Procedures node, do you see the procedure of interest? If not, you cannot expect to be able to execute it from your userid's connection. And even if you do see it, you may have some other privilege that permits viewing but not executing, like...

Condition based on source file name - PI 7.1
Hi Friends
I have an file2file interface without any mapping requirement , source is sending .csv files and I need to post those source files to two target systems in which each target system have two directories where I need to post based on few conditions and here are my queries.
1. As mapping is not required I guess File Content Conversion is also not required as I simply pick and drop the .csv files into target - please confirm.
2. One of the condition is : source file name will be XXXX-AABB-C-XXXX-XXX-XXX.csv , here SAP PI has to read the company code (AABB) to determine the target system. Z001 and Z007 should be sent to TARGET1 & All other files will be sent to Target2.
3. 2nd Condition : SAP PI has to read the type of file indicator (C). The files will be sent to the following target application directories:
Simulation files (indicator = S): /interfaces/XXX/simulation
Production files (indicator = P): /interfaces/XXX/inbound/
Please kindly provide your ideas/solutions .

If the Target is two different locations, then i guess you need to have two receiver Channels. Please check the below thread for details:

[SOLVED] [makepkg] attempts to process source files multiple times
OK, so I decided I was going to update the PKGBUILD for linux-lts-tresor to the new format with separate sources for different architectures and PGP keys, having successfully done it for the nvidia packages I maintain and I get the following issue when I run mkaurball on the linux-lts-tresor PKGBUILD:

In SQL Server Integrated Services, we can generate XML Schema (XSD) file based on a XML file with XML Source Editor. If we want to generate XML file based on a XSD file, we can use Generate Sample XML feature in Visual Studio. For more details, please refer
to the following steps:
Click on "XML Schema Explorer" or 'Use the XML Schema Explorer...' to open XML Schema Explorer in Visual Studio.
If your Schema file is valid and you are having elements, right-click on element and click on "Generate Sample XML", this functionality generates XML file in temp folder and open ups in the XML Editor.

Hi Scripting Guy. I am a Server Administrator who is very familiar with Active Directory, but new to PowerShell. Like many SysAdmins, I often need to create multiple accounts (ranging from 3-200) and add them multiple groups (ranging
from 1 - 100). Previously I used VBS scripts in conjunction with an Excel .XLS file (not CSV file). Since VBS is essentially out the door and PowerShell is in - I am having to re-create everthing.
I have written a PowerShell script that bulk creates my users and adds them to their corresponding groups - however, this can only use a CSV file (NOT an XLS file). I understand that "CSV is much easier to use than Excel worksheets", but
most times I have three sets of nearly identical groups (for Dev, QA and Prod). Performing Search and Replace on the Excel template across all four Worksheets ensures the names used are consistent throughout the three environments.
I know each Excel Worksheet can be exported as a separate CSV file and then use the PowerShell scripts as is, but since I am not the only SysAdmin who will be using these it leads to "unnecessary time lost", not to mention the reality that even
though you clearly state "These tabs need to be exported using this naming standard" (to work with the PowerShell scripts) that is not the result.
I've been tasked to find a way to modify my existing PowerShell/CSV scripts to work with Excel spreadsheets/workbooks instead - with no success. I have run across many articles/forums/scirpts that let you update Excel or export AD data into an Excel
spreadsheet (even specifying the worksheet, column and row) - but nothing for what I am trying to do.
I can't imagine that I am the ONLY person who is in this situation/has this need. So, I am hoping you can help. How do I modify my existing scripts to reference "use this Excel spreadsheet, and this specific worksheet in the spreadsheet
prior to performing the New-ADUser/Add-ADGroupMember commands".

I’m working on WC Spaces Customization library “com.acme.custom.webcenter.spaces.war”. From time to time, when I deploy the library to WC Server, it errors out.

If I try to login the Spaces, I get “Java code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.” Should I stop the Spaces server before the deployment? In this case, other people won’t have accesses to Spaces? The deployment error doesn’t happen all the time.

Edited by: 891549 on Mar 29, 2012 12:01 PMI don't think that this error is based on ojsp.next mode. The first error I see is that the application can't be undeployed. After that you get the 'ava code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.' error. As you said this only happens sometimes which also point to an other problem and not to the jsp error.
Have you ask this on the {forum:id=354} forum?
For me it's more a deployment/redeployment question.

Problem using file based JNDI with JMS Bridge, WL 6.1sp3
I am trying to connect an MQ queue to a Weblogic JMS queue using the JMS bridge,
WLS6.1sp3. I have the CR081404_61sp3.jar and CR081511_61sp3.jar patches.
I am having trouble getting the bridge to look up the MQ queue in the file based
JNDI. According to the log it is trying to use a weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
instead of a com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory, which is what it is configured
to use. I am getting the following error:

Am I correct in assuming it should be using the fscontext connection factory?
Why is it using the weblogic one?

CR081511_61sp3.jar patch should fix the problem. Make sure that the
jar file is picked up. It should be put before other weblogic jar files.
You should be able to tell if it is picked up by looking at the first
couple of lines of your server log file.

Hi, we have two files based on volume and costs
Time,Item,site,ASM,Retail are dimensions..
The volume one is:
May-09 item 1 Site 1 ASM 1 Retail VOL 100
May-09 item 2 Site 1 ASM 1 Retail VOL 150
May-09 item 3 Site 1 ASM 1 Retail VOL 130
May-09 item 4 Site 1 ASM 1 Retail VOL 120
May-09 item 4 Site 1 ASM 2 Retail VOL 150
May-09 item 4 Site 2 ASM 3 Retail VOL 100
The Cost one is:
May-09 item 1 Site 1 1.2
May-09 item 2 Site 1 1.3
May-09 item 3 Site 1 1.1

note that in the second file site,ASM are missing (this was the problem for us from source file)

the value must be represented with respect to ASM and Retail dimension also.

You would have to transform the second file to include the ASM and Retail dimension members. It is essential that you have one to one relationship between Site, ASM and Retail. You can maintain the mapping in a separate file and then read the cost file and get values for ASM and Retail from mapping file.
Otherwise in the load rule, you will have to specify one single member from each dimension - ASM, Retail in the header definition.
Once you have the data in the system, you can run a calculation to calculate the value of VALUE. Or else, you can also define a formula on VALUE.
