Remove button in Content package - callable object in GP

Hi Friends,
I have created a callable object of type content package. I have used this E-Learning document Link : [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/08d689d1-0c01-0010-c69c-808d2b1111d7]. I am able to test and execute the process in GP. But there is a button "OK" which is shown on the page. But I want to remove it. Could you please provide me with the options for removing the button. If it is not possible, what would be the alternate option that I could use?

Hi Abhay,
                 While creating the Callable Object Select "Webdynpro Component (GP Interface) and click on next. In the next screen you will see the deployed wdynpro components and select your webdynpro component with correct name space.
                  You have to add some DCs in Used DCs and add an implemented interface WebDynproCO. Then you will see a window created with this name "WebDynproCO".
                  Then this Interface will generate two frame work methods getDescription( ) and execute( ) in your component's Interface controller. Along with these 2 you should explicitly declare the 3rd method complete( ) and write the corresponding code in these 3 methods.
                   If you need forther help, Let me know and also let me know at which point you need help.

I am following the tutorial to create the first process (GP). I assigned all designtime specific roles. I can now create a content package object. But when I try to create the callable object, I come across the following error:
You are not authorized to start the design time

How to enable disable result status of callable object in Guided Procedures

hi,
Currently we are using guided procedures to handle Life Event changes in ESS. Each process has sequential block with Respective actions and callable object assigned to each action.
Most of the callable objects we are using are either standard Java Webdynpro screens that came with ESS business package or custom ABAP Webdynpro's. When we created callable objects with these web dynpro's there is tab that sets result status like "Complete", "Exit" etc.
The issue we are currently facing with result status is, there is no way that control is passed to result status enabled for specific step of guided procedure from the callable object. For example we created callable object for Benefits enrollment screen with result status "Complete". When user initiated guided procedure to make changes to Benefits enrollment, make changes to plans and click save. Once User click Save we want to send control to result status to get enable, till then we don't want the "Complete" button to be enabled on the Guided procedure step.
Is there way to control the result status button based on the action performed by user in respective screen/step of Guided Procedure?
Could someone suggest is there better replacement for guided procedures where I can use some other framework/process to achieve better functionality than GP's.

WDA as callable object

Hello Experts,
I have a simple senario with one flied customer name and one submit button created in the WDA. When the user enters the customer name , its goes to the aprover to aprove the customer as premium customer.
I have CE 7.2 . When i create the callable object 'ABAP WD' , i am unable to see the customer name parameter in the 'input parameter'.
Is there any specific setting i need to do in WDA . I am searched for forums and i coundnt find one..

Type in "Callable Object" gallery in CAF?

Hello,
I'm trying to follow the doc "Building the Job Application Process - SAP Composite Application Framework v1.1" to build a test process.
My environment is the NetWeaver Sneakpreview 2004s SPS4 on Windows 2003 Server.

I logged in ad Administrator, and verified that it also has the roles "GP Basic User" and "GP Business Expert".
After I clicked on "Create Callable Object", the next screen only shows 3 lines in the "Type" pane, which are 'Web Dynpro Form', 'Web Pages', and an expandable 'Data forms'.
I'm looking for "content package" and "Web dynpro component" types.
Am I missing something here? The install of the preview went without any errors (at least not on the installer console). I am able to create a Folder, create a new "content package", upload an HTML file into the package, and activate it.
Also, any references to such self guided study guides will be appreciated.

Which XI Content packages do I have to import to ESB

Hello,
we want to use a web service from SWCV SAP APPL 6.05 with PI 7.1 .
For this we imported package "XI CONTENT SAP APPL 6.05" into PI ESB.
When we try to create matching outbound interface for the service we want to use,
we get an error message
"Software component version SAP_BS_FOUNDATION 702 cannot be analysed. SWCV ID: 36054c80... does not exist in Enterprise Service Repository and System Landscape Directory"
Do we have to import the related package "XI CONTENT SAP_BS_FOUND 702" and any further underlying SWCV into ESB too?
If yes, is there a special sequence of the packages for importing?

That's not a good idea. Usually such applications expect to find their additional content files in a specific location. Consider moving other data to the external drive to clear up space. Or simply install OS X just on the SSD, then change the location of your Home folder to another drive to which you have copied your entire Home folder. After which you can remove the data content in the Home folder on the SSD.
How to use an SSD with your HDD
If you are going to use an SSD as a boot drive together with your existing HDD as the "data" drive, here's what you can do.
After installing the SSD you will need to partition and format the SSD using Disk Utility. Then, install OS X on the SSD. After OS X has been installed boot from the SSD. Use Startup Disk preferences to set the SSD as the startup volume.
Open Users & Groups preferences. Click on the lock icon and authenticate. CTRL- or RIGHT-click on your user account listing in the sidebar and select Advanced Options from the context menu. You will see a field labeled "Home dir:" At the right end you will see a Change button. Click on it. In the file dialog locate the Home folder now located on the HDD (HDD/Users/account_name/.) Select the folder, click on Open button. Restart the computer as directed.
When the computer boots up it will now be using the Home folder located on the HDD.
Another more technical method involving the Terminal and aliases is discussed in depth here: Using OS X with an SSD plus HDD setup - Matt Gemmell. This is my preferred approach because I can select which of the Home's folders I want on the HDD and which I don't want. For example, I like to keep the Documents and Library folders on the SSD because I access their content frequently.
Be sure you retain the fully bootable system on your HDD in case you ever need it.

Removing Buttons from Webpopup Automator

I'm not sure this is possible, but I've tried just about everything...
I've been using the Webpopup plugin with Automator to display a "HUD" style popup for a web page stored locally on my HD. It works great, but the buttons at the bottom of the window (there are 3) are what I'd like to remove. Inside the package contents of the webpopup plugin is a file named webpopup.nib - and unfortunately it's compiled. I've done quite a bit of research, but in Snow Leopard it appears there's no way to edit a compiled .nib file. After trying on my own in XCode to remove the buttons, the plugin just no longer runs, and thus neither does the service I've created.
Am I chasing after something I just cannot do?

As Deepu says, in general everything is possible in the properties (you have to switch to "web item parameters" tab -> you will see all parameters for the web item.

Error building/creating WD Callable Object

Hello guys,
Pardon for reposting - I did post on the WD Java thread - and I think this is the more appropriate area to ask this question since its GP Callable Objects related.
While creating a WD Callable Object: I
I added Used DC: caf/eu/gp/api/wd to the WD DC. And added IGPWebdynproCO on the Implemented Interface. Afterwards, after building the DC, I got the following errors:
This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type com.sap.caf.eu.gp.co.api.IGPTechnicalDescription (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath)
The project was not built since its classpath is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for com.sap.caf.eu.gp.co.api.IGPTechnicalDescription. Fix the classpath then try rebuilding this project.
I tried repair and rebuild - and restared NWDS (and even restarted my PC).
Issue not resolved.
What else should I do?

Problem to execute a Callable Object (SAP R/3 transaction) in UWL

Hi,
I have developed a callable object which calls a SAP R/3 transaction. It runs perfectly in design time , when I run it in UWL I am getting the Error "An error occurred while displaying the callable object, which uses the page builder. Check that the page builder is installed, and the transaction iView is available .
Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions.

Adobe WebDynpro Callable Object

Hi all
I created Adobe WebDynpro application whihc worked well.
After creating callable object with WebDynpro (GP instance), and when i click complete button which is linked with complete method, following error occoured.
Actually adobe form web dynpro works well independently.
What do you think about that?

Model Execute Exception in a WD Callable Object

Hello,
I've been having some trouble making queries to a database through a Web Dynpro Development Component (GP Interface). I imported a Web Service and the calls are being made through there. I know that the Web Service works just fine as I've tested it through the WS Navigator. The problem occurs when I create the Callable Object and try to test it. The following message shows up:
WDWSModelExecuteException: Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://server:50000/LetterStep34WS/letter34?wsdl' with operation 'getLetterById' in interface 'LetterStep34WSVi_Document'
I've tried redeploying the project, re-importing the web service model, and changing the package name where the model is imported but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any ideas? It´s becoming a pressing matter.

Problem with Input out put parametes of IViews in callable objects

Dear Friends,
I have designed model which contains 2 IViews
Apply leave IViews
Approve leave Iviews
In both the cases i have exposed the in & out parameters using start & end point.
Finally deployed in portal successfully
Guided procedures ->Design Time
I have created folder
when i create callable objects using this IViews , i dont see the input & out put parameters exposed in context parameters tab for this IView.
Any step i missed.

We have a application designed in VC.It contains
Create request
Approve Request(approve or reject buttons)
IF approved then
a.Book Request IView
b.Summary Iview
If Rejected then
a.rejected IView.
When i am designing Process with Sequential block,
all the actions namely
create request
appprove request
reject
book
summary
are processingone one by as action mentioned in sequential block irrespective of approved or rejected.
I cannot go for alternative block, since the result state buttons are desinged in IView only namely(Approve/reject).
How to overcome this probelm any suitable solution?

GP - WD Java: Cannot read callable object description from component

Hi,
i use Guided Procedures and therefore i will generate a WebDynproJ Callable Object inside the GP.
When i try to intergate it into Design-Time i get follwoing error after i picked the WebDynpro Component:
Cannot read callable object description from component: type com.sap.caf.gp.quotcreate.model.bapi_quotation_createfromdata2.types.Vbeln_Va could not be loaded: com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: TypeBroker failed to access SLD: Error while obtaining JCO connection.
Well because i could import the Model into the WD Component in NWDS with the given JCo i have no clue why this error is now popping up.
Does someone have some experience with this phenomenon?!
I also wanted to check the JCo's in Content Admin but even though i am an Admin (i am sure of this) i have no rights to enter this part. Also the SLD is properly configured!

Sending my callable object as interactive form thru workflow for approval

I have created a sales order form as per the requirement given by sales head.Also i ve created a role in portal and have deployed my application implementing the rfc s required. i need to send my callable object(component1) to the saleshead with approve and reject button where when he approves notification mail should be sent to the required persons and if he rejects it should come back to me.(order initiator).i need to complete this soon and i dont have any idea about _+sending my callable object as interactive form thru workflow+_ .plz guide me with the steps(step bye step process) to be followed which ll help me to complete this project.

Can we know the reason why do you need to extract the Interactive Form from Workflow.When you are calling the workflow try to save the form in a shared folder and save the url of the shared folder in a field and try to acces it by using SAP Activity.You can create a button for that create an SAP activity and when you click on the button the Interactive Form can be opened.

Cannot display Adobe form as Callable object in GP

Hi all,
I'm trying to display an adobe form as an Interactive Form Callable object.
I've created a process -> block -> action -> callable object. But the form doesnt display. When I launch the GP runtime and initiate the process, I get the message "The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh" button " nothing happens when I hit the refresh button.
Can someone advise me what I might be doing wrong? I've also tried things like consolidating parameters with other callable objects just to see if anything display, but no luck so far.

OS is Unix(server) Windows 2000 Pro (client)
Browser version is IE 6.0.
I just realised the system is sending out an email to the initiator, and the initiator is able to open the Adobe form. But who does the initiator send the email back to? I'm quite a newbie to this stuff so please bear with me. Also another question is, if the form is offline, then how do we know which workflow (GP) it will tie to once the form is submitted back to the system? In other words, does the person who receives the email with a filled adobe form have to manually initiate the workflow or is there a mechanism to automate this?
