Which XI Content packages do I have to import to ESB

Hello,
we want to use a web service from SWCV SAP APPL 6.05 with PI 7.1 .
For this we imported package "XI CONTENT SAP APPL 6.05" into PI ESB.
When we try to create matching outbound interface for the service we want to use,
we get an error message
"Software component version SAP_BS_FOUNDATION 702 cannot be analysed. SWCV ID: 36054c80... does not exist in Enterprise Service Repository and System Landscape Directory"
Do we have to import the related package "XI CONTENT SAP_BS_FOUND 702" and any further underlying SWCV into ESB too?
If yes, is there a special sequence of the packages for importing?

That's not a good idea. Usually such applications expect to find their additional content files in a specific location. Consider moving other data to the external drive to clear up space. Or simply install OS X just on the SSD, then change the location of your Home folder to another drive to which you have copied your entire Home folder. After which you can remove the data content in the Home folder on the SSD.
How to use an SSD with your HDD
If you are going to use an SSD as a boot drive together with your existing HDD as the "data" drive, here's what you can do.
After installing the SSD you will need to partition and format the SSD using Disk Utility. Then, install OS X on the SSD. After OS X has been installed boot from the SSD. Use Startup Disk preferences to set the SSD as the startup volume.
Open Users & Groups preferences. Click on the lock icon and authenticate. CTRL- or RIGHT-click on your user account listing in the sidebar and select Advanced Options from the context menu. You will see a field labeled "Home dir:" At the right end you will see a Change button. Click on it. In the file dialog locate the Home folder now located on the HDD (HDD/Users/account_name/.) Select the folder, click on Open button. Restart the computer as directed.
When the computer boots up it will now be using the Home folder located on the HDD.
Another more technical method involving the Terminal and aliases is discussed in depth here: Using OS X with an SSD plus HDD setup - Matt Gemmell. This is my preferred approach because I can select which of the Home's folders I want on the HDD and which I don't want. For example, I like to keep the Documents and Library folders on the SSD because I access their content frequently.
Be sure you retain the fully bootable system on your HDD in case you ever need it.

I have created a callable object of type content package. I am able to test and execute the process in GP. But there is a button "OK" which is shown on the page. But I want to remove it. Could you please provide me with the options for removing the button. If it is not possible, what would be the alternate option that I could use?

Hi Abhay,
                 While creating the Callable Object Select "Webdynpro Component (GP Interface) and click on next. In the next screen you will see the deployed wdynpro components and select your webdynpro component with correct name space.
                  You have to add some DCs in Used DCs and add an implemented interface WebDynproCO. Then you will see a window created with this name "WebDynproCO".
                  Then this Interface will generate two frame work methods getDescription( ) and execute( ) in your component's Interface controller. Along with these 2 you should explicitly declare the 3rd method complete( ) and write the corresponding code in these 3 methods.
                   If you need forther help, Let me know and also let me know at which point you need help.

But where is ACC_BILLING02 ?

File Contents Package shows on server while file shows on workstation

I have created several DVD Studio Pro projects, one based on another. They are stored on a hard drive within the mini server which several computers have access too.
On the server (MacMini 10.6) one of those projects displays in Finder in the expanded "contents package" view. Viewed on a different computer on the network it shows the single dsjproj file. In other words on a connected computer all 3 projects are single files. On the server 1 of the 3 displays always in contents view - the other 2 are in the normal single file view. I might mention that these files are on the 2nd drive within the Mini which is shared, not the server drive.
My concern is backups to the server are always backing that one project up in its content view. Any help on this much appreciated.

LMS Content Packager Extensions Question

Does anyone have experience with the three content packager
extensions for Learning Management Systems (LMS') and are you aware
of which SCORM edition these packagers were written for? I have
found incompatabilities between The Content Packager for IMS and
the SCORM 2004 3rd Edition Testing Suite. I have not been
successful in creating a package that will pass based on this
Extension.
I found three packagers listed - and all of them seem to be
three years old or older.

I believe "Content Packager for IMS" (aka "L5 SCORM
Producer") extensions are stuck back in SCORM 1.2. They only
package the IMS Manifest and the wrappers (if you choose to use
them). I could be wrong, but I think if they are to pass SCORM 2004
conformance tests, they require the XSD and DTD files as
well.

'AVCHD content' package instead of a 'Folder' named PRIVATE in Mountain Lion

'AVCHD content' package instead of a 'Folder' named PRIVATE in Mountain Lion prevents FCPX from recognising it as a Camera Archive thus can't import media.
Does anybody know how to work around this issue?
I know how to look inside the package, but seeing the contents does not help importing it into FCP X.

Karsten, I believe you are doing exactly the same steps, but see some kind of different names on the buttons. When I press Cmd+I, I get into the Camera Import dialog. I have to then press Open Archive... to import from a folder, that has a copy of SD card.
That is why I am calling it a Camera Archive.
Then I select the Card1 or Card2 folders that contain a copy. This is a great screen:
Card1 was copied while Mac OS was still 10.7, Card2 - after an upgrade to 10.8.1. Card1 imported into FCP X 10.0.5 flawlwssly, while Card2 gives me an error a screenshot of which is higher in the thread.
As for Tom's request - I did exactly that. Except for Card1 will not show it's contents in the column view - I have to Ctrl+Click and select Show Package Contents to get inside.
Hopefully this clarifies the situation a bit more. I'm stuck with the project at the moment

The Service only rereads changes based on the schedule.
Even Restarting the Service will not cause the system to reread changes.
You may want to set the service to look for changes every 15minutes or so.

How to rollback the installation of a content package?

Dear Community,
We are using CQ 5.4 on my current assignment and I have a (hopefully trivial :) question concerning deployment/rollback best practices.
Assume I have a content package ContentPackageA.zip which contains:
/etc/packages/com.somesite/ContentPackageB.zip
/apps/somesite/install/someservice.jar
The subpackage ContentPackageB contains:
/content/somesite/somepage
/content/somesite/somepage/somechildpage
/etc/tags/somesite/sometag
To install this in my environment I will do the following:
Open CRX Package Manager on my Author instance
Upload ContentPackageA.zip
Make sure the setting 'Extract Subpackages' is checked and install ContentPackageA.zip
Open the Tools Admin interface
Browse to /etc/packages/com.somesite/
Activate ContentPackageA.zip
Now my environment, both Author and Publish instances, contains all the new nodes included in the content packages: ContentPackageA.zip and subpackage ContentPackageB.zip
Assume now that I want to rollback this deployment. I will then do the following:
Open the Tools Admin interface
Browse to /etc/packages/com.somesite/
Deactivate ContentPackageA.zip
Open CRX Package Manager on my Author instance
Uninstall ContentPackageA.zip
Delete ContentPackageA.zip (optional I guess)
My experience is that this procedure does not work entirely. The resulting state is:
On the Author instance, everything is removed, i.e. both packages and package contents
On Publish instance, only one package is removed: /etc/packages/com.somesite/ContentPackageA.zip
The subpackage remains: /etc/packages/com.somesite/ContentPackageB.zip
The package contents remains as well from both ContentPackageA.zip and ContentPackageB.zip
My questions are:
What are the best practices to perform a rollback from both Author and Publish instances?
Is deactivation of a package supposed to delete package contents and deactive subpackages?
Are there any changes in CQ 5.5 regarding this?

Currently OOB we do not have option that by deactivate it uninstall package. The enhancement request is in place & not yet considered for future release. Please file daycare with business impact & valid usecase.
You might not use this feature more often right ? During your code deployment if you wan't to rollback you can restore from the backup that you had before deployment.
If repository is big & restore is not an option. As a workaround You need to uninstall the package from publish before deactivate. This can be achieved through script using curl.

You do not register the phone with the laptop. If you are using the same Apple ID on the new phone as the old, you will have no trouble. Connect the phone and you can restore from a backup of the old phone, or just sync your new phone if it is already set up, with the laptop, managing your content in iTunes.

SERC content package and service package

This is regarding regulatory content provider. I came across an SAP presentation on Product Safety and Dangerous goods, which talks about twp options:
1. Going for an on-premise approach using SERC - content package
2. Going for a service approach using SERC- service package
Could you please elaborate on both the service package and content package approach? How does it work/integrate with business processes in SAP?

For our client, SAP has confirmed following:
"Customer has purchased SAP EHS Regulatory Content (ERC).
With licensing ERC the customer receives access
to the service marketplace of SAP to download
i) the licenced content packages, ii) the Admin Guide and iii) the Update Guide."
So I believe, our client has bought SERC and not SERD and this will be a On Premise solution and we need to download the required content to the client servers and implement the same.
Is my understanding correct?

How to modify the Procedure which exists in Package individually?

I need to modify the procedure which exists in package individually. I.e. I don't want to recompile the entire package.
This task to be done in SQL Plus not in TOAD. Because in TOAD, we can directly place the script and recompile using the option.
Do we have any syntax to modify the procedure which exists in package?
[Like..... create or replace schema.packagename.procudrename....etc...?]

Explain the reason why this would make any sense. Convenience. I wouldn't mind this option either.
1) Currently, i am working on a PACKAGE which has
over 2k lines. In general, changes are made in a
single PROCEDURE only. I then copy the code (from
notepad) and paste it into SQL*Plus. This takes a few
seconds. If i could just ALTER the one PROCEDURE, it
would save time. (The little adds up to a lot during
testing.)
2) If two developers want to modify the two parts of
the same PACKAGE they would have to rename the
PACKAGE so one's changes do not overwrite the other.
Allowing to change the particular PROCEDURE inside
the PACKAGE would obviate this need.
3) If PACKAGES are to be stored in a versioning
system, it might be convenient to store each
PROCEDURE separately, instead of storing the entire
PACKAGE as one file.
It is certainly not required, but it would be a nice
convenience. That is why it would make sense.OK, then why did you chose to make packages? You do realize you can make stand alone procedures / functions outside of packages don't you?
I can see how 2 seconds of waiting for a package to compile could set your testing back by weeks (warning, being highly sarcastic).

Which display driver package do I need for Nvidia Quadro NVS 110m?

I'm new to (Arch) Linux and was wondering which display driver package I need. I have a Dell Latitude D620 with a "nvidia quadro nvs 110m".
In the Arch Linux beginners guide it says:
1. nvidia-96xx slightly newer cards up to the GF 4.
2. nvidia-173xx Geforce FX series cards
3. nvidia newest GPUs after the GF FX

But on the NVIDIA-Homepage it says:
The GeForce M series and GeForce Go series notebook GPUs use drivers that have been customized by the notebook manufacturers to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior. NVIDIA has worked with some notebook manufacturers to provide notebook-specific driver updates, however, most notebook driver updates must come from the notebook manufacturer.
And they just forward me to Dell Support which obviously neither offers a linux driver nor linux driver information for the D620.
So which of the three packages do I have to install?
Are these packages open-source drivers? Do I need proprietary nvidia drivers to get full 3D-performance?
Does anybody have experience with the D620?
Although I'm new to Linux and I like the KISS idea behind Arch Linux, I still want to have all that Compiz Fusion eye candy. I also want to play a few games which need 3D performance (once I'm familiar with wine). ;-)

Final question: How does Arch Linux deal with license issues? If the nvidia package includes the original nvidia drivers linked above, doesn't that cause any legal/moral problems? Like in Ubuntu for example they always point out that it's proprietary software you're gonna install when enabling the nvidia drivers.

I just want to use a picture as my DVD cover, and then insert a slideshow. Also, when I try to burn my 8.5gb double sided slideshow, all that burns is the music. It is a large slideshow, a memorial on the life of my now deceased brother. This means a lot to me and to my family, and I am having so much trouble trying to burn it. I have gone into Project View and selected appropriately. The bar shows I have room to burn this DVD, but it does not burn. I have burned so many DVDs in the past, but this one just will not burn. I am so confused at this point. I will say this is the first 8.5gb I have attempted to create and burn. My specs list a 7.7gb or 4.7gb as operable....but there are no 7.7gb dvds. I had to purchase 8.5gb. Help? What am I doing wrong? I have spent so much time on this, and just cannot figure it out.

Give iPhoto a look at for creating the slideshow. It's easy to assemble the photos in an album in iPhoto, put them in the order you want and then make a slideshow of them. You can select from various themes and transitions between slides and add music from your iTunes library.
When you have the slidshow as you want use the Export button at the bottom of the iPhoto window and export with Size = Medium or Large.
Save the resulting Quicktime movie file in your Movies folder.
Next, open iDVD, choose your theme and drag the QT movie file into the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Then follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
The reason I suggest iPhoto is that I find it much easier to use than iMovie (except for the older iMovie 6 HD version). Personal preferences showing here.
