Remove of released task

Hello Experts,
is it possilble to remove a task, which is already released, from an existing transport order?
Best regards
Tobias

Sure you can, but its not clean and recommended:
SE16N
enter the tabel: E070
in the command box: (upper left corner) enter "&sap_edit"
enter
you should now get a infomarion: SAP editing function is activated
enter the transport nulmber
execute,
modify the status -> Set to D, now you can delete from SE01 ( maybe repeat for every task)
Also clean the data and cofile in DIR_TRANS

  • How to unlock objects from a Released Task?

    Hi Group,
I have a TR in which, there was a task added for my developments.
Thing is, in the same TR one person has created a program and smartform objects and released the task.
Now, I have to move these 2 objects into another TR.... I tried with various options like, tried to release the lock of the objects going thru the released task, Changing the package to Temp, Deleting the object from the released task and etc., but nothing is happening and a message is coming up(while Unlocking the objects - Request/Task XXXXXXXX already released(not modifiable).
In summary, I want to release the locks(on the objects - under a Task that got released) and move these Unlocked objects into a separate new TR.
Kindly let me know your inputs.
    Regards,
    Vishnu.

    Hello
Though it may not be the right way, i generally follow this approach for similar case. I would change the status of the task (TRSTATUS) in debugging mode in table E070 from 'N' to 'D' and make the changes. It has so worked so far for me without any issues.
Now the request will be modifiable and you can delete the objects from this request and move to a new one.
But make sure you also delete the objects which will be transferred to the request from the task after you release the task in SE09/10.

How is the easiest way to remove these old tasks ?
We are om SOA Suite 11.1.1.4

  • Trying to access a previously released task flow binding issue

    I am using Jdeveloper 11g R2 (11.1.2.4) & weblogic 10 G
In my pages I use JSF & Facelet
I get this message in my console
ADFc: Trying to access a previously released task flow binding 'somename'
It is not stoper one but it is displayed in weblogic log as error, Is there any way to fix this?
    Thanks

    mohsen,
Track what the application is doing when you leave the task flow. May be you try to access the task flow of one of its parameters in a bean method.  This would result in such an error.

Is there any way to remove a released transport from the SE10 display or change the owner of a released transport?

  • Workflow for released Task

    Hi experts,
Does anyone know a workflow in cProjects that reminds resources to execute and notify released Tasks?
    Thanks a lot,
    CAMILO URIBE

    Hi Camilo,
The workflow which you find in standard is e.g. TS 28700002 (Task Released). But this is send immediately when the task is released, not 2 or 3 days before it is due.
Alternatively you could use threshold values and alerting (see evaluations in cProjects). Or last not least a customer-specific program. But the two other possibiliies seem easier for me.

  • Want to delete request and task id but by mistake released task id.

    Hi ,
There is one request id and task id under which no object is attached.
I dont know how it is created. I want to delete them but by mistake i have released task id and now it is not alloing me to delete task id and request id .
Could anyone tell me how this blank task and request id created and how to delete it.
    Regards,
    Himanshu.

-Transport requests that have been released cannot be deleted from within the
SAP System. You can, if you wish to, delete the cofiles and datafiles that
are generated at the OS level when a transport request is released.
-You can even delete it from the STMS buffer and physically delete the DATA
and the COFILE of the transport request. You can also delete the entries
from the E071 table (NOT recomended, first step should be enough).

    Checkin tests passed.

Well obviously it is an Ant build.
It looks to just compile/build a web application into a war so you can deploy it where you want to.
You don't need to edit it every time you are making a new page. It should work for any generic struts web application laid out in the fashion it expects.

  • Donu00B4t release tasks after releasing a phase

    Hi guys,
after searching a lot and programming in dpr_events i have no further idea.
Does anybody know if it´s possible to do not release a task after releasing the upper phase?
I tried the method set_data_ext from cl_dpr_task_o in dpr_events but there is no field for changing the sytem status from '1701' (released) to '1700' (created).
    Thanks for advice,
    Tobias

    Hi Zhenbo,
thanks for the help. I solved the problem with your suggestion. In DPR_EVENTS first I buffered the task types and then I removed them, so that the system cannot release the tasks.
In the project itself, I import the buffered task types and then I search in the project for tasks that have no task types. If the GUID matches I set the task type and remove the entry from the buffered task type table.
Now I can release a phase without releasing the underneath tasks.
Because of the filtervalue ON_PPO_RELEASED in DPR_EVENTS I can release top-tasks so that also sub-tasks are released.
So the behavior is correct again except that there are some error messages when I release the project. But that´s OK so far.
    Regards & thanks again,
    Tobias

  • How to delete/release task under a request????

    Hello,
I want to edit a program which is saved in a task under a request and the request is released,
but the problem is that while releasing the request the task under that request was not released and also that request was created by another user so I dont have authorization to delete or release the request.
In such case what could be done.
    Thanks & Regards
    Rahul

    hi,
You will not have the authorizatoin to delete the task created by the other guy,so only way is to inform your basis guy and do it, or try do delete the program under the task and then task and then request.

  • Releasing tasks in random order

    Hello everyone.
Sorry as I dont know which category to put this question to.
I have released a couple of tasks (under same transport request) in random order.
All tasks have almost the same objects that we work on.
Please tell me what all things can now go wrong in Test Server so i should be prepared for that.
And also, how to set those things right.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Though there are different tasks under the same request, and released in different order, but released all the tasks.
So I don't think you will face major issues in the test system.
    The issues could be,
    1. lets say if you have added one selection screen field, may be it will not get display in the selection screen of the test system.
For this, you need to go to the SE51 and select the program and screen number as 1000, just click on active.
    2. In a similar way for the screens added or even the program may need manual active in the test system.

    Santhosh.

  • Remove error , terminated task/process in GP

    Hi,
I want to remove all the unwanted or error or terminated process in GP. I went to the Guided Procedure > administrator tab and then select maintain process.
I check on the "erroneous" and then click search. However, there isn't results. Thus I cannot clear those pending task in my GP > runtime.
    can help?
    thank you.

    Hi,
If you want to delete the pending tasks check the tasks created with the user with whom you are searching the pending tasks and delete the tasks of this user.

  • Remove Unused Process Tasks from Process Definition for Export

    Hi Everyone,
I am trying to delete a process task that is no longer used in the process definition of our resource; however, I get an error indicating the "The task cannot be deleted it has schedule items". I would like to export the connector without this particular process task. Can anyone please provide any suggestions on how I can do this? Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Wendell

    Hi,
As per my knowledge you cannot delete a process task, if the associated resource object has been provisioned to a user and the task which you wants to delete has been executed atleast once.
But you can very well delete a newly created process task with which no user has been provisioned.
Having said this, the workaround for your problem will be as follows.
1.Remove all the adapters, task dependecies, status mapping, etc from the task (in current env)and make sure that it doesn't get invoked in any scenario.
2.Now export this process definition to the new environment and before provisioning any user to that specified resource object , delete all the unwanted process task and save the process task.
Hope this will solve your problem
    Regards,
    NS

  • Exclude released task

    Hello, experts.
I've released all tasks (not the request) and now I want to exclude some objects or a task of my request.
Is there any way to do that?
    Thanks in advance!
    Flavia

    Hi,
Create a new TR to delete the objects & released the TR to subsequent system. This new TR will delete the object which was released by you of your previous TR.
