Removing quarantined devices when the mailbox attribute has been deleted

I have a few Exchange 2010 mobile devices in quarantine that belonged to employees that have been termintated and the mailbox attribute removed. when I try to remove the devices using;
Get-ActiveSyncDevice | Where {$_.DeviceAccessState -eq "Quarantined" -and $_.FirstSyncTime -lt (Get-Date).AddMonths(-6)} | Remove-ActiveSyncDevice -Confirm:$false
I get an error stating
Couldn't find '<AD domain>/<OU path><Username>,as a recipient.
+ CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (:) [Remove-ActiveSyncDevice], RecipientNotFoundException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : 44C6758C,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.Tasks.RemoveMobileDevice
is there a way to remove the device after the mailbox has been removed?

I still get a user listed upon startup, even when the user folder has been deleted.

You need to remove the user from the Accounts Pane in System Preferences.
Unlock the Pane, select the user and click the "-" (minus) button at the bottom of the pane.

The account "sadmin" has been deleted out from under us!

We have a new Intel Xserve we recently set up with 10.6 Server. Initially we ran OD, DNS, and DHCP only on the machine while our file shares continued to run on our older 10.4 Servers. When I moved our Xserve RAID (Formatted off of the old server and onto the Xserve we started experiencing issues where after approximately 24 hours we would have authentication issues connecting via SMB or AFP. Also, when I tried to connect via ARD or SSH I was unable to authenticate. Sometimes I could SSH in as root but others I would have to go to the console directly. A reboot clears the issue but about 24 hours later it comes back.
Looking at the console I see:

You can always get a price on what an Apple affiliate would give you for your old MacBook Pro by going to http://www.apple.com/recycling/gift-card/faq.html and reading the instruction for the reuse program. Or you can sell your old one on eBay (that's what I did - you'll get more for it). Apple doesn't do a simple trade-in.
Your cheapest route is just to buy a new adapter. If you don't know which adapter to get, call Apple and they can tell you, or visit your local Apple Store. They're about $80.

My photoshop won't open, it says that the preferences file has been deleted. What do I do?

I was just working in my photoshop with no problems, I had just downloaded a free trial pluggin (Filter Forge) but that wasn't working, so I tried to close photoshop to re open it and it wasn't responding so I had to force quit it, and when I went to reopen it this box pops up..... "Could not initialize photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted)" I looked up how to fix this and I went under the library on my MAC to try and find the preferences file to move it because they said that would help, well I forgot.....the file has somehow been deleted. My other option that I haven't tried yet is to open photoshop and do the shortcut keys that resets everything but Im nervous to do that because I don't know what will get reset. Any help will be awesome I have several projects Im working on and need to finish!

If you have not saved your custom presets for some time you should naturally lose those when opening with cmd-alt-shift pressed and selecting to "delete settings file" – but you can consider this a learning experience.
Apart from the presets you also need to set your Preferences (Interface, Performance, …) again after that if you had in any way changed them from the default settings.

IPhoto Library is Synced onto my iPhone can i retrieve the images from the library off my iPhone, as the library file has been deleted on my Macintosh.

My iPhoto library has been synced with my iphone all my images/photos are saved onto the phone, but i want to put them back onto my Mac, unfortunately my iphoto library has been deleted (actual file). is there any way to achieve this?
i have tried syncing the photos but i believe it will delete them, and update with my current library (no images).
i have also tried to take the images off via iphoto & image capture but they only take newly taken images not the photos in the old library stored on my iphone.
i am using an iPhone 4S, Macbook Pro 2010 & current version of iPhoto.
Please advise if there is any way to move an iphoto library from iphone to mac.

Removing a web gallery album, even after the iphoto album has been deleted.

I have just created an Album of photos in iphoto, and then published the album to the web gallery. I was able to view the album via the web and my wife did too on a windows based laptop. I then went back to add 2 more photos to the album in iphoto, then again went back to see if they were uploaded too. One was and one wasnt, then the second one did after a couple of minutes. Now I have deleted the albums I created in iphoto, but I still have the link to go to the web gallery site and the album is still online with 24 photos. How can I remove the photos from my online gallery.

I have been using the web albums for some time. I have merely started iPhoto, then select the web gallery album you wish to delete. Click on the "Web Gallery" icon located at the bottom right hand side of the window. When it opens click on "advanced". You will see the option to hide the gallery on the web.
Now you should be able to go back to the album in iPhoto and delete it.

You need to change the account settings in Entourage for removing messages from the server when downloaded by Entourage.
At the Entourage menu bar, go to Tools and select Accounts.
Select your BellSouth account and then Edit.
Under the Options tab below Server Options, select "Leave a copy of each message on the server" and then select OK.
With this selected, Entourage will not remove messages from the server when downloaded.
Getting messages removed from the server when downloaded by an email client such as Entourage back on the server isn't an easy process with a POP type account.
You can use the Redirect feature but this must be done separately for each message. Select a downloaded message in the account's Inbox mailbox and at the menu bar, go to Message and select Redirect. Enter your BellSouth email address in the To: field and select Send. This should make the message appear the same as when originally received - not appearing as being forwarded and Entourage will redownload each redirected message but not remove it from the server when downloaded.

Why do I get error -1074388985 at CAN Connect Terminals when the Channel API has been stopped?

While trying to establish synchronized CAN and DAQ using the Channel API, I get the error -1074388985 while attempting to connect the RTSI Clock to the master timebase. The error message occurs each time I try to run the example VIs shipped with LabVIEW 6.1. I am using a Series 2 PCI CAN card with a 6034E DAQ card. Any ideas? Tech support did not have a solution.

This warning means you have tried to change an attribute on a running object. This causes the warning and should not take place.
Use the "Initialize' function instead of the "initStart" Function, then change the Attribute and use the "Start" function to start the communication, or stop the communication using the "stop" Function before you change any Attribute and then start again.

I understand that with 2012R2, you can no longer make a Windows recovery disk.

Return Delivery when the material document has been archived

Hi There,
We have a situation in which we need to return some consignment material to a vendor because we don't need it anymore. We have 74 units in unrestricted stock. The thing is that the PO's material documents have been archived. This causes we can't do the return delivery using MIGO transaction.
Could someone tell me what options do I have?

It has always been possible to re-download 3rd party apps without having to pay again for purchased apps and recently the same is now available for iBooks and music purchased from the iTunes store, but not for movies and tv shows.
