Why do I get error -1074388985 at CAN Connect Terminals when the Channel API has been stopped?

While trying to establish synchronized CAN and DAQ using the Channel API, I get the error -1074388985 while attempting to connect the RTSI Clock to the master timebase. The error message occurs each time I try to run the example VIs shipped with LabVIEW 6.1. I am using a Series 2 PCI CAN card with a 6034E DAQ card. Any ideas? Tech support did not have a solution.

This warning means you have tried to change an attribute on a running object. This causes the warning and should not take place.
Use the "Initialize' function instead of the "initStart" Function, then change the Attribute and use the "Start" function to start the communication, or stop the communication using the "stop" Function before you change any Attribute and then start again.

There is file activity if Open Config Data.vi is being called. The error is just due to not being able to find the configuration/.ini file. Root cause could be a few things: the INI file was deleted/not moved/invalid path/whatever. And the "create file if necessary" input to your use of Open Config Data.vi must be set to False for whatever reason.
Side note:
There were a couple changes to the Config VI's between v6 and v7.
If you were relying on using the default FALSE in Close Config Data.vi in LV6.1, you have to change your code.
From LV7 Upgrade Notes:

• The configuration file path input of the Open Config Data VI is a required input. You must specify the configuration file path even if you open a reference to a configuration data object.
• The default of the write configuration file? input of the Close Config Data VI is TRUE. In LabVIEW 6.1 and earlier, the default is FALSE.

I still get a user listed upon startup, even when the user folder has been deleted.

I've deleted a user from the User Folder and I still have it showing up at Login ... have two other users listed ... but this deleted user still listed as a active account. Anyone have a suggestion on a fix?

You need to remove the user from the Accounts Pane in System Preferences.
Unlock the Pane, select the user and click the "-" (minus) button at the bottom of the pane.

I think that is not a Clusterware issue, The clusterware installation may generating a high load on your machine and Virtual Box is not supporting.
Check vbox.log file to identify root cause.

As Silkrooster said, should be easy enough with layer styles and blending modes. To mimic the curvature you can use a simple warp style as well. You may just need multiple duplicates of the layer for ultimate control...

You can always get a price on what an Apple affiliate would give you for your old MacBook Pro by going to http://www.apple.com/recycling/gift-card/faq.html and reading the instruction for the reuse program. Or you can sell your old one on eBay (that's what I did - you'll get more for it). Apple doesn't do a simple trade-in.
Your cheapest route is just to buy a new adapter. If you don't know which adapter to get, call Apple and they can tell you, or visit your local Apple Store. They're about $80.

Why am I getting error messages and sometimes no Bookmarks when I convert some MS-Word files to PDF

Our company produces educational products for business. Essentially they are e-books in PDF format with Bookmarks allowing for ease movement to various areas of the book. The original product is generated in MS-Word and then converted to PDF. These e-books vary from 40pages to 300 pages in length. Businesses use them as reference and problem solving tools. We are using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and for what we do it serves our purposes very well.
Recently, with some MS-Word files only, I have gotten error messages while converting the file to PDF. Sometimes, it will not complete the conversion. Sometimes, it will complete the conversion BUT-there are no Bookmarks in the PDF file.
The main error message I get is:
"Acrobat PDF maker has detected 'Highlight Changes in Printed Document' has been selected. To create a PDF file with tags, unselect this option from VIEW>MARKUP. Do you wish to continue and create PDF without tags."
If I don't unselect VIEW>MARKUP in the MS-Word file I can't complete the conversion to PDF. If I do unselect VIEW>MARKUP I can complete the conversion to PDF but the PDF file has no Bookmarks. Bookmarks are absolutely essential to the user facility with our products.
Does anyone know my problem is and can offer a solution.

Somethings to consider.
--| In Windows - the OS needs a goodly space for 'elbow room' - you don't want to have HDD free space drop below something like 15%.
Say your HDD is 600GB, 60GB free space is leaving you 10%...
-| RAM - May not be enough; more is better <g>.
--| Virtual Memory - if in Windows, open up Task Manager. Look at all the "stuff" there. Most is not required by the OS.
Most of the listing is "stuff" associated with a full cart of processes associated with things you may not need or use but they suck up resources.
--| Graphics - Processing images into PDF can be resource intensive. Having a dedicated graphics card with enough ram makes a difference.

I recently purchased an iPhone 5 with ATT network. It worked halfway, and now not at all! Both companies are pointing the finger at eachother. I think it is the Apple ios 6.0.1 software upgrade. I can't even get a tether at all for a few days now. I've tried every reset, reboot, network settings, restore feature, and finally a new phone. If they don't get it fixed I'm going over to a S@msung Galaxy III and Verizon.

Also, after the in-app purchase installed, you are able to by the free "Learn to Play" lessons from the Lesson Store.
So just check, if you can use a different drummer patch or can download additional lessons.
