Use the following code in the WDDOINIT method after using add_selection_field method

Hi City,
The problem (I think) you are describing is caused because you are attempting to copy from the same instance of Excel. If you were able to see your workbook at the same time that you could see the variable refresh screen (in older versions of Excel and BW you could see them both), you would notice that the cut/copy mode (denoted by the "crawling ants" around the border of the selected range) is cancelled in the process of displaying the refresh screen.
The solution to this is one of the following:
1. open another instance of Excel and first copy the results to the second instance
2. copy the Excel results to another application, such as Word
Perhaps not the answer you were looking for, but it works.

Hi all,
We have a cancelled billing doc in VFX3. This is because the accounting document is not generated for the same due to some foreign exchange value mismatch as the biiling doc was created in one month and cancelled in another month. So credit memo was created and released to accounting. But in VFX3 we can still find the cancelled billing doc which was not released to accounting.
My question is how to remove the cancelled billing doc from VFX3. Please help me out and do the needful. Awaiting for the responses..........

Hello Antonio,
Just hide the standard buttons and create your own one outside. If it's just regarding some probably missing translation, best is to go add the missing translation using se61.

Safe mode is not what you want in this case. Reboot to recovery mode - hold down cmd-R as the Mac reboots. Go past the language-selection screen, click the Utilities menu, then Terminal. Type:
resetpassword
Followed by the return key, and follow the prompts. Reboot normally when done.

I believe that there is no such FM. You need to build a range for your constant values and then compare your select option with the range build for constants.
Eg.
select-options: s_werks for t001w-werks.
ranges r_werks for t001-werks.
r_werks-sign = 'I'.
r_werks-option = 'EQ'.
r_werks-low = '2101'. "Pass the constant value.
append r_werks. "Range built for one entry 2101. Similarly append further constant values.
*Check if select option contains any of the constant values.
if s_werks in r_werks.

New default FF w/Google is great, & thanks very much too all. Would prefer to remove the new button links at bottom of pg, & have more blank space on the page where the new links are presently. In early October 2012, Mozilla.org rolled out / pushed out a piece of code that forces Firefox (all versions) to go to www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck every time you restart the computer and re-open Firefox. The unauthorized intrusion is an issue. The constant nagging is unacceptable. Their attempts to recruit other web pages to join in the intrusion and nagging is inexcusable. Short of uninstalling Firefox after 20+ years, how do we get rid of the 'new' plugin checker?

The crashes and hangups started with the push out of the new forced plugin update checker. The point is that the plugin checker is causing the instabilities. The goal is to remove the plugin checker that no one wanted or asked for, but was forced on us. The Firefox team is not willing to admit they screwed up by dictating to everyone. They will not undo the damage they have created. And so Firefox will be losing customer loyalty and trust, not to mention market share as we jump ship on this piece of marxist programming.
And older versions of Firefox are not "unsafe". They merely lack the undesired functionality of the newer versions. Browser safety is addressed by the computer owner in other ways. Firefox should never be dictatorial in how the computer owner determines to address computer safety.

I inadvertently synced bookmarks from a computer that I had wanted to keep separate. How do I either remove the unwanted material from the syncing copy in the cloud or just remove that cloud copy and start over?

If this is something that has occurred recently it should be easy to sort out just unlink the device and revert to the previous version of bookmarks by using the restore option in the bookmarks library. With luck all you will loose is the last set of bookmarks added.

I always try to remind people using sync
* Sync only merges bookmarks now, it will not permit unidirectional syncing. For instance you cannot sync from a phone and just add those bookmarks to a computer, Sync will fill the phone with the desktop's bookmarks.
*It is wise to backup bookmarks manually if bookmarks are being synced.
My recommendation of caution and backing up of bookmarks is not aimed at those who inadvertently add a device. It is aimed at those who become over reliant on Sync.
Occasionally; especially on slow connections or if there are many bookmarks changes; Sync throws a wobbly and corrupts or duplicates bookmarks. Without manual backups, these situations become almost impossible to sort out, by the time they are reported.

How to remove the standard Exit and Help buttons from the iviews

We migrated the ESS application from standalone ITS based on 4.6c to ECC 6 based Integrated one. After converting that into ICF service and when we created the iview for it in the portal(EP 7) It is showing two hyperlink items EXIT and HELP by default at the top of every iview. So, Can anybody tell me how to remove them from visibility.
And also, the iviews are not showing the table grids etc in the integrated environment. Is there any change that need to be done, for getting the table grids and all to look as it is in the previous envoronment.

Hello Ravi,
You should be aware that many of the ESS transaction are not supported on the Integrated ITS, see note 870126 for more details.
To remove the "Exit" and "Help" you can use the ~webgui_simple_toolbar parameter, please see note 1010519.
Some tables have an option to show the gridlines or not. Please see if there is a table options icon in the upper right of the table to change the configuration. I'm not sure if what kind of table you're referring to so it may or may not be available.
