Render a swf object(contains an image) in navigator not possible

Hy, I have a swf object that is an image(a circle). I have tried to render it in firefox but it doesnt render anything but I have tried with other swf object(not an image, an application) and it renders it ok. So can I render a swf file that is an image or is not possible? should I extract the image in it first to render on the navigator?

Reading a little further in that page, it says:
Be careful when putting the uploaded files in the web application as anyone can access the files by URL, such as http://localhost:29080/MyWebApplication/faces/upload/images/myPicture.gif.
So, I am thinking that for added security, may be it is meant to be that I can't make an imageComponent reference a file outside of the wep app folder, but I am just guessing. In which case, I will simply have to store all such files within the web app folder before attempting to access them, unless someone has a better answer.

Document Contains Errors. Approval is not Possible.

I have a SC approval that errored out when coming back to SRM. We run RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL program periodically throughout the day to pick up offline approvals from users. In the spool list, I see this message:
Document Contains Errors. Approval is not Possible. And the system gives me the WI ID, SC # and the object type BUS2121.
I've never seen such an error before. The document here...is it referring to the approval email itself? We instruct our users to not edit the approval email in any way. They just have to click on the approval link and click on Send in Outlook. I don't know if the document it's referring to is the SC or the approval email.
Can anyone help?

You are right. This error is the issue. To answer your other question why this message was not raised earlier;the problem could be that at the time of sc creation, there might be sufficient budget. But because your shopping cart was in approval for some time, it is possible that some more shopping carts have been raised with the same WBS and got approved. This would reduce the overall budget available. When the shopping cart is approved, one more check is done by the system and this time there was no sufficient budget.Hence the error is displayed. Only option for you now would be to ask FI people to increase budget or resubmit the cart by changing the value of the shopping cart.

http://beta.asphalt-driveway-sealing.com/, it's working fine except I got this message each time I am opening my file with dreamweaver CS4: 'this page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again' and what I did but still got this message
the developer told me that: "I previous versions of Dreamweaver you could disable the Active
Content Converter http://f-source.com/before_insert/
In CS4 there is no such option."
Please let me know what can I do then.

Hi
CS4 uses a 'nested' type of object code to insert swf/flv files, which is more compliant than previous code. Obviously the f-source extension is not cs4 compliant if it is changing this, (the message indicates it is doing so) and is something you should pursue via there support department. However even though it is giving you this message it should still work on live pages.

Is there a way to suppress this warning?! I'm doing a find and replace on an old web site, which does not pay well! and this pops up on every page. I have to click on it to continue every time. Making me mad.

Thanks for answering. In my case that won't work because I'm doing a global find and replace of some text.
I agree though, that process would eliminate the message when I have to come back to edit the site again. It's just the thought of many dozens of pages that would need it and to be honest, I'm really not feeling that motivated to do all the up front work right now
Like I said, there should have been a setting for this...

Preview of pages containing large images ( 600MB)

I use the CS3-Server with the Java API, I have to export a pagepreview from a certain page of an indd-document as JPEG. The page that I have to export contains images each with a size greater than 600 MB. At the moment I call the doExport-method of the document-object. My JPEGExportPreferences are all set to lowresolution (72 dpi) and low JPEGQuality (kJPEGOptionsQualityLow).
But the JPEG-Export always lasts over 20 seconds which is too long.
The document must contain these images. This cannot be changed.
Now I search different way to get a pagepreview. When Indesign saves a document it saves previews as well, is it possible to use these previews? Or does anybody know a way to tell Indesign to use its internal preview instead of the large image to generate the pagepreview?
I already tried to unlink the image but the unlink-process lasts even longer than the preview generation process itself :-), even the relink to an non-existant image did not work.
I don´t know how to handle this...Does anybody run into this problem before and perhaps can help me, PLEASE?

The short answer is not yet - although the expectation of 64-bit Aperture is that it HAS to be out SOON. I shoot a lot of film in medium and large format and the scans are 16bit 4000dpi some of my files exceed 2gigs and still use Aperture to organize them along with references to my negative files but Aperture will not deal with 1G files right now no matter how much memory you jamb in your machine it is pure 32bit and cannot manage multiple 32bit address spaces soooo....
4G address space - OS X and shared 32bit reserved address space - program/text space - the amount of memory Aperture uses for other things - etc = a lot less than 4G actually a lot less than 2G.
Hope that makes a long story short. Just thank heavens that OS X did not reserve 2G in address space like some older unicies.

Hi all, I am subscribing Illustrator CS6 16.0.0 and using it on Windows 7.
Few days ago I was working with one file, I saved it successfully and now when I'm trying to open it an error message occures "Can't open the illustration. This artwork contains a very large image that can not be read on this version of AI. Please try with 64-bit version." and ALMOST ALL of the objects (vector) are missing as if they were deleted!
It's kind of strange since I created the file with the same program and everything was working properly before.
Please Please advice further steps for recovering my file.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to display that images in spgridview.
You can use a hyperlinkfield that is bound to the SPGridView. Please refer to:

Can an ImageComponent object reference an image in other server locations?

I need display images stored in a folder on the server other than the folder where the web application is stored. However, pointing to any of those jpg images renders nothing as the application runs! To be able to render them, I must copy the images to the web directory of the application and reference them therein, just like in http://www.netbeans.org/kb/55/vwp-fileupload.html. So, this piece of code would work nicely:
String file = "/resources/1.jpg";
image1.setUrl(file);where of course file is a relative path inside the web app, and image1 of type ImageComponent is dropped straight from the pallette. But this would not:
String file = "c:/researcherData/images/1.jpg";
image1.setUrl(file);Is there a way to enable an imageComponent object to reference non-web-app files? Thank you.

Optimize php page for browsers lacking flash, so that it replaces flash objects with static images

I basically want to have my php pages with flash swf objects to be smart enough to replace the flash swf's with static images or other content for the non-flash user (iphone, ipad, etc.) who visits the website. I guess this would be an option or perhaps a script that just sent the visitor to a version of the .php page that is tailored to them, a version of the page designed for non-flash users.
I've done a little bit of reading up and have found that some people like to use DOM scripts like
Unobtrusive Flash Objects (UFO) v3.22
or what seems to be the successor:
SWFObject 2.0
What is better? Is there a better script out there to use at this point? Advice would be much appreciated.

I would like someone to tell me which one of these scripts that I have mentioned above would be best to use.
What am I trying to do? Well from my understanding these scripts allow me to have multiple versions of the website, so that it loads up with static images in place of the flash swf's for... NON FLASH USERS.
The script will be able to detect whether the flash capabilities of the browser are sufficient, and if not display the web page accordingly.
SO. I'm looking for an answer as to what is the best script to use, if it's not one of the scripts I am asking about.

The best way to do what you're asking is with the Composition widget. Start with the Tooltip preset, which, by default shows the info on rollover. You can change the option to show on click, which is what you're after. You can also add the close button or have the info disappear on rollout.

Safari 5.1.2 on Windows 7 has issues with hiding SWF objects in IFRAMEs

Try as I may I cannot hide a Flash object in an HTML page referenced as the source of an IFRAME tag despite being able to hide the IFRAME when using Safari 5.1.2 on a Windows 7 machine.
This is not a problem for the latest versions of Safari, Chrome and Firefox on a Mac. This is not a problem for the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox on a Windows 7 machine.

The complex aspect is that this issue only manifests itself with some SWF objects, but not all. In the admittedly small sample of objects I tested I observed that the ones that failed were focused on video content (basically they were video players) while the ones that didn't exhibit the issues were not delivery mechanisms for video content.
I have already tried using JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery and Scriptaculous - they didn't fare any better.

Actually it doesn't let me choose either of the buttons and before anything can happen the crash occurs. I tried to click on both buttons but it seems not to work. Thanks!

How do I take an object from an image and save it so I can use it in other images?

I am trying to figure out how to take an object from an image and save it so I can re-use it again in other pictures? I know how to use the magic wand to select the object and place it in a blank image.... but I do not know how to re size the selected object or keep it for later use. Basically I would like to use the object the same way that I use the graphics ... so I guess I am wondering if there is a way that I can make my own graphics... I have Elements Photoshop 13. Hi Jerrie,
You can re-size using Transformation tool. Ctrl + T will give you a box to re-size the image or object.
You can save these object as PNG file with Transparent layer. You can use these objects later in another projects.

Object-group with network-object containing an IP address range

Does the ASA treat an object-group with a network-object containing a range of IP addresses as a netmask? For example, I can apply this configuration without the ASA throwing any errors though the configuration calls for a 'net mask':
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
network-object-group mode commands/options:
A.B.C.D Enter an IPv4 network mask
sh run ob id test
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
I found that in the documentation it requires a netmask as oppose to a range. Is this a bug in the code? I am running code version 8.0(5)23 on a 5520. If this is not a bug how does the ASA treat this type of configuration when applied to an access list? When I ran a quick packet trace and denied access from that range it looks like the ASA doesn't read that configuration properly. Thank you.

Thank you for your replies. In code version 8.0(5)23, it appears I am able to define a "range" of IP addresses as in:
192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255 as opposed to defining a range with a netmask like 192.168.0.0 255.255.192.0.
With the "range" of IP address applied to the "object-group network test" with sub command "network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255" the ASA does not pick up on said "range" when this object group is applied to a DENY access list. It only reads it properly when the netmask is attached, which is the correct configuration, as in: "network-object 192.168.0.0 255.255.192.0".
To clarify, I mean range as in 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.63.255.
Hope this helps to understand. I am just curious as to why this is even able to be applied in such a way or if it is a bug in this particular code version? I can also confirm that this can be done in code version 8.4(2). See below snippets of my configuration in the 8.4(2) code version:
