i have a problem with my report layout, i am displaying the report as
<b>matnr description inbound outbound vgbel</b>
so when ever a record matches the data should be printed in a single line if the records doesnt not matches then it should print first the
matnr description inbound and after ending of inbound qty the outbound qty should be displayed, the problem here is i have data in a single table.
how to split and print the data for inbound and outbound inreport

In the same internal Table two extra fields for INQTY and OUTQTY.
and populate those fields by looping the ITAB.
Loop at ITAB.
   if field = Outbound.
      move the related qty to OUTQTY
   else.
     move the related qty to InQTY
   endif.
   modify ITAB index sy-tabix.
endloop.
so now the ITAB will have OUTBOUND and INBOUND qtys sepearately in fields.
so now you can display easily along with the fields.

Initially reports were developed in Reports 6i now we need to convert into 10g. I just opened the .rdf in Reports10g. Report is successfully running in paper layout and showing the data. But when i try to run the report in Web Layout im getting a BLANK INTERNET EXPLORER SCREEN. Why is it so? What should i do to run my report successfully in Web Layout? Alteração dos layout's de impressão padrão do SAP B1

Pessoal, bom dia.
Gostaria de saber como faço para incluir um novo dado em um layout padrão do SAP B1, por exemplo: Fluxo de Caixa.
Toda vez que tento incluir ou alterar qualquer campo o layout traz informações que não tem nada a ver ou repete em todas as linhas.
Eu queria alterar por exemplo, no Fluxo de Caixa, que ele traga o Nome do PN e não o código do PN.

A questão é que os campos demonstrados no layout de impressão do fluxo de caixa não demonstram de quais tabelas sao os campos.
Criei um novo campo e o relacionei ao campo Código do PN. Ele me trouxe como resultado o nome do meu primeiro PN cadastrado no sistema para todas as linhas, ou seja, trouxe errado.
Continuo na mesma.

Sales quote layout rows doubled in crystal report layout

Dear All,
Sales quote layout rows doubled in crystal report layout.
In sales quote layout the rows are doubled. Even in the standard layout. If the quote contains only two rows. Then it is doubled as 4 rows in the crystal report layout.
It is happening in the particular database. Other database are working fine. I request you people to help me to overcome this issue.

IN ALV Report 'SAVE LAYOUT' option missing

Dear All,
I have created one report in ALV GRID using ABAP OBJECTS(Using class CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER and
CL_GUI_ALV_GRID).But in output when i click on change layout option i am not getting SAVE layout option.
I have already passed I_SAVE parameter = 'A' while calling metod SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY. But i didnt worked.

Hi,
You can manage display variants by using parameters, is_variant and i_save of set_table_for_first_display. Here are options for variant handling. <structure_name> is the variant-defining structure of type DISVARIANT. The field report in this structure should contain the value of sy-repid.

How to remove blank pages from WebI Report in view page layout option

Hi,
I am working in Business Objects XIR2 environment. I have a WebI report with several sections. I need to show the report as a book with 69 sections (each section on new page). there are 69 sections on cost center and each cost center section has almost 10 sections embedded in it. When i see in regular view - I only see 69 pages but when I try to see in "View Page Lay out" option, there is one blank page added after each results page.
Please let me know how to remove this blank page. I need to give users the option to download the book as PDF on to their machine. Now, when I download to my machine, I see one blank page after each results page.

Jus convert your report in Page Layout mode and see if your first pafe is getting expand in the second page.
Now check if there are any cell going into second page.
- if there are any blank cell which is there after table.
you have to check formating very carefull.

Dunning Report Print Layout Issue

I have a problem with the Dunning Report Print layout (Dunning All (system)). In the wizard I select all the Invoices (Which are over due and current) for the BP and sent to printer.
In the print out all the due dates are mixed with the acctual Due dates.

I solved the problem. But the issue was when i ran the dunning wizard the layouts messed up. For example if I had a dunning letter with 3 lines (overdue documents). The last line would copy itself 4-6 times (it would show the last document 4-6times so the total lines in the dunning letter would be 7-9 lines). But I solve the issue. Somehow the attention person (which I got from the contact persons (ocrp) and not from the document contact person (oinv) ) did the issue. When i switch it to the oinv the issue was gone.

Layout variant not working

Hi ,
I have executed a report . I hide one column and saved the layout. The layout name comes on to the selection screen parameter which i have defined on the selection screen.
PARAMETERS: p_vari LIKE disvariant-variant. " ALV Variant
i have made the i_save = 'A' and is_default = 'x'. and also used other function modules reg. Variants.
but if i select the layout variant in the selection screen and execute it is not working . the hidden column also coming on the output.
But if the select the layout variant on the output of the report from the icon select layout it is working fine. the column which i have hidden is not coming. it is perfect. why it is not working when i select the variant in the selection screen.

Layout variant is not working in background in ALV report

Hi,
I have one LAV report to send the report output through mail in foreground and backgroud.Final internal table is having 46 fileds to display the output.But here user is saving the layout variant and sending that layout variant output to mail id in excel format with zip file.Its working in foreground.But in background its not working.Even if we select the layout variant,its sending all the 46 fileds to mail.
here we have used the below FM to update the fieldcat itab.

Copied layout is not working for Sales order item assinment block

Hi Experts,
I copied the standard componet BT115IT_SLS/items view layout with custom role configuration key and worked fine.
I have added one more field to the item view with the same configuration and saved .When I opended the sales order in the WEB UI , The item assigment block is displaying with complete BTADMINI context fileds and This is the issue.
I have seen configured fields only in the personalization and I have downloaded the items assigment block data to Execl.In the Execl sheet I can able to see the configured fields (availble fileds in the configuration tab in component workbemch) data only.
But Items assignment block is displaying all the fileds (taking from the context node BTADMINI).
I have deleted existing customer configuration and again copied from the standard layout.But I got the same issue.
I have wriiten some code in the ON_NEW_FOCUS and commented the code.Still it not working.
Please help me , where I have done the mistake and provide me some inputs.

Solved isuues myself.
The problem is inconsistency of BTAdminI context node . I have deleted the view enhancement and again enhanced the view .I copied the layout with customer role key and dispalyed expected layout.

Huge delay in Printing Crystal Report Layout

Good Day Experts,
I am experiencing big delays when printing a document that makes use of a Crystal Report Layout Design.
For example,
The Sales Quote is set to automatically print when added by the user.
When clicking 'Add', SAP freezes up and only about 30 seconds later does the printer finally print the document.
During that time, the user cannot use SAP at all.
The layout does have a lot of fields and a few formulas here and there.
Logically, I am thinking that that is the reason for the delay, as SAP needs to calculate and populate those fields.
Is there any other way that I could speed up this process? Or if you know what might be causing this speed issue?

Report - RTF layout issue

Hi,
I have done customization in Quote Print report using Reports 6i. I get the output appropriately if i select PDF format. But in RTF format, the last line of each page is not/partially displayed. Also the last character of each line is getting cut-off if it spans across entire line,(because the field/frame border line is overwriting the last character).
Please post your suggestions here on resolving the above issue.

Play with changing your frames to have horizontal/vertical elasticity of variable. There is also a Metalink note that talks about some boilerplate being truncated (not sure if that applies to you). The note is 433464.1. It says to do that following:
1. Set the environment variable: REPORTS_ENABLE_RTF_SPACING=YES
2. From Reports Builder, for the text field giving the problem, go to Layout menu Format -> Text Spacing -> Custom -> Other = 1 pts.
Both steps must be performed.
The environment variable would also have to be done on the server you are deploying reports to.

Image not printing in Layout Editor

I am using BI Publisher 11.1.1.6.
I tried inserting an image in Layout Editor to display company logo.
Followed the steps below.
1. Click on Image icon in Layout editor.
2. Select 'Field' Radio button, in the image URL: selected the field LOGO which
comes from an SQL query.

c. Excel - The report cannot be rendered because of an error, please contact the administartor.

d. RTF - The report cannot be rendered because of an error, please contact the administartor.

Metadata. Check the files and strip it or save to a format that doesn't support it in teh first place. Perhaps the copy&paste messes up some stuff on that level such as DPI flags or stored printer data...

Open and display image in MVC layout

I cant figure out how I shall do this in an MVC layout:
The program request user to open an image file that are then displayed in a JLabel
My setup at the moment resolve in a nullpointerexeption because it dont get any actual image file, but I dont understand what I have missed.

How do I use one set of XML data and populate multiple layouts with it?

I have an XML document with root element BOOK. Inside BOOK are PAGEs. (I also have each PAGE as it's own XML file, so that I can update each PAGE individually.)
I have a print layout of 6"x9" and I want to create an iPad layout (H & V).
When I create the V layout, I have the 6x9 master set to "scale" in liquid layouts and it works great. But in my XML structure, everything gets duplicated. Now there are two sets of data. When I create the H layout, now I have three sets of data.
So then I tried deleting everything in my iPad masters and setting them to be based on my print masters, but the content isn't scaling.
Let me know if you have questions, because I'm not sure where I might need to clarify. Thanks in advance!

Roger, the System setting have -Nothing- to do with the question being asked. Do you use Logic Pro audio software? If you did you would know Logic has it's own audio settings that run independently from the System audio. There's also the fact that Maverick has problems with "some" older USB 2.0 audio hardware. Basically, this is not a slam-dunk, that's why I suggested asking someone if they've used this combination before. Although... the USB audio device is cheap ($10) it might be worth it to try. Still.............**
** I question the wisdom of using cheap audio hardware on a computer that cost $1000+, software that costs $200 and then using the internal audio chip ($2) and an external monitoring device that costs $10. Defeats the whole purpose of using professional audio software.
