REP-0151: Duplicate argument specification for keyword 'REPORT'.

Hi all,
When i run report in Concurrent request,the report is getting the following error and the report has only one parameter.i.e., Purchase_Order_From
I am getting the below error.
REP-0151: Duplicate argument specification for keyword 'REPORT'.
Please anybody help in this issue.

    Hi Piyush,
    1) Command line arguments means user arguments and system parameters like report name, destination format etc. But I do not how you are using it. [ Reports 2.5 is kind of very old and I have not worked in it ]
    2) Please see the following documentation on Reports 2.5

    REP 0152 Positional argument specified after keyword.
    Cause
    On the command line, you entered an argument without its keyword after
    entering an argument with its keyword. Once you have used a keyword on the
    command line, all subsequent arguments must use keywords as well.
    Action
    Re enter the command making sure that no positional arguments (arguments
    where the keyword is implicit) are specified after arguments with keywords.

  • Getting error REP-1352: The fonts specified for this report cannot be found

    Dear Friends,
    I'm getting the following error when I run my reports on Application Server installed in Solaris 9.
    REP-1352: The fonts specified for this report cannot be found for the character set specified by NLS_LANG.
    I searched internet and found the reason for the issue i.e., as follows.
    REP-1352: The fonts specified for this report cannot be found for the character set specified by NLS_LANG.
    Cause: The NLS_LANG environment variable specifies a character set for which no font is available.
    Action: You may choose a font that exists in the character set specified by NLS_LANG. Alternatively, you may use the Font Alias file to force an available font to be used instead of the one specified in the report.
    I cannot change the font for each & every report as there are more than 100 reports. HOW CAN I USE THE FONT ALIAS FILE? It is very Urgent, please solve my problem.
    Please help me ASAP.

    Looking at the requirement  it seems like you have 2 level of authorization check i.e. Check first user is authorized for cost center. And if yes then look for teh combination of Func area related to that cost center, for that user.
    I think keeping the second check for func. area within loop of cost center (for each cost center) should work.

    Now, these reports give us an error....

    Did you check this DocId:203781.1. I think it will help you problem.
    Moreover does your X-server or vnc server on HP work fine.
    In the past with HP version 11.0 there was always problem with HP x-server. just check that your x-server is runinig will ex. x-clock.

  • Specifications for the report regarding the invoiced quantity.

    Hi all SAP gurus,
    I want to give specifications to the abaper regarding the layout of a report. The details are sales order, materials in it, order quantity, invoiced qty, balance qty and stock against the balance qty.
    I want to know the table & field name  where the qty is getting updated. Suppose order qty is 20, today i invoice 5 qty. The balance is 15. When i run the report, in the invoiced qty column the system should show 5. Tomorrow i invoice 10 qty, the balance will be 5. When i run the report again, in the invoiced qty column, the system should show 15.
    Where is the data stored regarding the updated qty which is already invoiced.
    The scenario is MTS. Is it possible to show the exact available qty in the balance qty. column some material may be confirmed for other sales order also.

    Need to understand couple of more things before i tell you the fields as are you considering report Based ON invoice or delivery as you are saying that order quantity is 20 and invoice is 5 , ( do you mean to say delivered quantity is 5)
    secondly since this report is for stock are you taking into the account of all the pending orders not yet delivered , partially deliverd.
    Hope  you understand this as this report could change every minute the order is delivered
    And as per my knowledge there is no such table which can give  you that information , you need to write a logic which will consider the open orders, partially delivery , and stuff into .....hope i am in Sync with what you are asking

    Hi,
    One of my concurrent program which of type report is calling from a pl/sql procedure.
    when I execute my pl/sql procedure from oracle application the report which is called by this is completed with error
    error message is
    REP-0152: Positional argument specified after keyword
    I have un-checked the check box for that concurrent program, then also I am getting the same error.
    Could you help me in this?

    I solved this problem. In my case when I was working for two programs I got this error.
    For fitst Program to solve the issue, I un-checked the Use in SRS check box.
    For second Program the above solution does not work I have defined the Parameters for my concurrent progrm(report) which is called by a stored procedure. This works fine.

  • Reasons for Introducing database functions for Discoverer Reporting Needs

    Hi All,
    I would like to know the criteria other organizations have used in creating custom database functions specifically for Discoverer reporting needs. It seems good and appropriate to identify these reasons in order that they have a sufficiently good reason (e.g. in presenting this to a change management board).
    Here is a quick swipe:
    -query explain plan improvements
    -take away the complexity of having the end user deal with complex calculations
    -consistency of a value (e.g. a complex amortization calculation)
    -an attribute is used from a dependent table with a minimum cardinality of zero
    Can anyone list other good reasons in terms of Discoverer reporting?

    Hi Patrick
    In addition to the reasons you have given the reasons for having functions anyway apply just as equally to Discoverer as they do to other applications.
    Typically the main reasons why I would use a function are:
    a) due to the complexity of the code, or
    b) to evaluate something which an end user either could not do or does not have access to.
    For example if a user needs to have aggregations from multiple tables side by side in a report, typically from tables which have no joins between them, I write functions to go get the individual results.
    One specific function that I use a lot is one that calculates the number of working days between any given two days. Some of my HR customers use such a function to calculate the number of sick days for an employee when obviously only working days should count. Doing this in a normal Discoverer calculation would be very hard. Retail customers might use this for calculating the number of days it took to ship and item.
    There are other reasons why I use functions but these are the typical ones.

    Regarding having them update the specs, one can dream. Dreams are free. LOL. Hopefully the memory makers will update their specs as more makers start supporting a large memory configuration.

    I did not do an extended test of the sticks in my MBP. Their home is in the ThinkPad I have because it is running Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V.
    As you can see from the link above, these little suckers are pricey. But consider the price of 2GB SoDIMMs were $950 when they entered the market a couple of years ago. The price will drop.
    I asked the Kingston rep that sent these to me if online sites like newegg.com would have them soon. She indicated no, but the corporate buying sites like CDW and Zone would. So check around. They just started shipped a couple of weeks ago so be patient.

    We are involved in the implementation process and need to maintain the leading ledger as per US GAAP and also the ledger required for IFRS reporting. What will be the ledger specific transactions? Sharing same COA, do we need additianl account groups to identify them seperately or what is the procedure? Can a comparison report be generated?Also how is the material ledger maintained?

  • SSO not working for BW reports as iview in Portal

    Hi,
    I have setup SSO for netweaver portal 7.0 and BI 7.0 as backend system.
    I have used SAPLOGONTICKET for SSO.
    1. Now if I create iView for some transaction , its working fine. UserID and password is not asked and i'm getting into BW sytem.
    2. But if I create an iView for BW report type 3.x and pull a report from BI system, it is showing a login screen to me. now I have to give clientno, userID and password to get into the system.
    Can please some help me in this issue.
    is there some specific configuration I need to make..?

    My problem is now solved. Actually transaction iViews use connectors to connect to the backend system, where as BW reports iviews use WAS to connect to the backend system.
    while accessing the portal i was not giving the fully qualified name in URL.
    while accessing the portal correct way is to use the URL is :
    http://hostname.domain:port/irj/portal ...I was missing the domain portion.
    Use the fully qualified name so that both EP and backend systems comes in same domain.

  • CRM Web UI - Authorisation error for Dashboard report

    I am accessing CRM specific BI reports on CRM Web UI for areas like Lead Analysis, Marketing and Campaign Analysis etc, and most of the reports are working fine. But when I try to access a dashboard report (I am not really sure if it is called daashboard report beside the report name- it gives me an Authorisation error saying that the 'User does not have proper authorisations'.
    I have tried by assigning the role SAP_CRM_OR_USER suggested by a colleague, but even then I get the same error. Our Basis team does not have an idea on the exact role to be used.
    Could anyone of you please tell me the exact role to be used in order to see those report on Web UI. Thanks.

    I have tried that option of the transaction ORDYWB to activate the reports (this was also suggested in a SAP note i.e. to create a Z report and the code for which was given in the SAP note and upon executing the report, it showed a number of activities which have to be performed and had to implement those activities one by one). But in that transaction all the reports and InfoTypes are active with status 'OK'
    If you could give me the exact role which you have used for those reports, I will give it a shot. Also, in the CRM Web UI, I am unable to see the technical name of the report of the interactive report (dash board report?). If the report was executing in the CRM Web UI, we could see the technical name of the report, but for the non-executing reports, could you please tell me how to see the technical name?
    I have raised this to SAP and looks like even they are having a hard time finding the solution. Thanks.
