REP-52006 error (10gR2 base version 10.1.2.0.2)

When I strip the where clause in the forms side and then pass it to the reports, reports issuing the REP-52006 error. it shows bunch of %20 and in one place %22. Can anybody help with this one? I believe %22 is for " but don't know what %20 is for. I have no problem when I pass parameters to reports. It happened when I tried dynamically striping the where clause on the form side and then pass it to the report (so the report can execute it's query with this dynamically passed where clause. P_WC was set at the report side (holds the passed in where clause).
here is the where clause I automatically stripped in form (from LAST_QUERY) that I am passing to the report:
(UPPER(TYPE_MISSION) = 'CAP' and (TYPE_MISSION LIKE 'ca%' or TYPE_MISSION LIKE 'cA%' or TYPE_MISSION LIKE 'Ca%' or TYPE_MISSION LIKE 'CA%')) order by name
and the report error is like this:
REP-52006: Failed to decode the specified URL %22('(%20UPPER(TYPE_MISSION)%20=%20'CAP'%20(TYPE_MISSION%20LIKE%20'ca%'%20or%20TYPE_MISSION......
Any ideas to fix this problem. We are not happy for this forms reports integration issue at all, it supposed to be seamless :( We can not deliver what we think we could to the end users because of reports problems (you don't know until it hits you :)
note: I posted this question to the reports forum. I just want to check to be sure that I did everything that I needed at the forms side. I checked the Metalink note# 264159.1 (I am setting the paramform=no) as indicated in this document. Bug#3442598 status is "Fixed in 10.1.2.0.2" in Metalink. Is this might be another bug ?
Has anyone tried to pass a dynamically stripped where clause from the system.last_query to a report and generated a report successfully? Passing indivudual or group of parameters to reports work fine. I am only having problem with this dynamically stripped where clause.

To check and see if that might be the case, locate the model number on the side of the AirPort Express. It will start with an "A" followed by four numbers. Hard to see in the faint print.....so you may need reading glasses or a magnifying class to see the model number clearly.
Model numbers A1084 and A1088 of the AirPort Express are no longer supported by AirPort Utility in Mavericks.
You will need to use a Mac running Leopard, Snow Leopard, or a PC to be able to administer the older AirPort Express.

REP-3000 Error Message

I have install Web Reports Server 6i on Solaris 2.8 x_86 platform and i hav configure its above documentation. I can start it under OAS 4.0.7 web listener. Then, if i want to create the test report on the web, i receive an error message:
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
Tell me please, what can i do.

You may be right. But in this case i don't know another plase, there nls-support (*.nlb) files are may be installd. In my $ORACLE_HOME there are no directory, naming like datad2k. I think, that Developer 2k use nls-support files from base nls directory, because i install if after RDBMS, but after installation of Developer 2k in the list of installed products i so, that it content the 8.0.6 NLS-Support Files and Libraris. I in the firm belief that it is not RDBMS files, becouse the version of RDBMS is 8.0.5.
It meens, that the cause of REP-3000 error is other. If you know some more about it, tell me please.

REP-770 Error while executing the report.

Hi,
I am trying to run a report in Application Server 10g. I am executing this report from a form.
When I try to run the report using the 'rdf', I get the error
"Terminated with error: REP-770: There exist uncompiled program unit(s). REP-1247: Report contains uncompiled PL/SQL."
But if I run the report as 'rep' then the report works fine. Now after this if I run the report as 'rdf', it works fine again.
Just to summarise - The problem occurs if I first try to run the report as rdf. But the problem disappears if I run the report as rep first before running it as rdf.
Could someone help me solve this issue.

I can see 2 bugs logged on Reports 9.0.4.1 (that means 10g patch 1) that report a similar problem:
BUG 4050488 - JSP REPORTS CONTAINING REF CURSOR ASKS FOR COMPILATION EVERYTIME WITH WEB LAOUT
and
BUG 4040844 - REF CURSOR QUERY REP-737 ORA-1247 RUNNING ON LINUX
Another bug reported on 10g has been fixed in upcoming Reports version 10.1.2:
BUG 3324576 - SRW.APPLY_DEFINITION IN PGM UNIT FAILS USING .REP FILE WITH REP-1457 ERROR
They are published bugs. See if you are hitting the same issue. Though I don't think that these bugs reported REP-1247 only the FIRST time you run the report.
Secondly, when I said "compile on the same platform on which you are going to run", I meant this - if you are going to run the report on OracleAS installed on Win 2000, you must compile the report in Reports Builder on Win 2000. Similarly, if you are going to run the report on OracleAS installed on Linux, you must compile the report in Reports Builder on Linux, before running it.

Please refer to Note 88656, section 29, and use the attached allow file to ignore the error.
Basis Support Package SAPKB64013 deletes the corrupt entries in RSMPTEXTS.
Note 88656, section 29 says,
There is "data scrap" in the target table.
The error can also occur in the target table of the existing data scrap.
In many cases, R3trans essentially reads the existing table entries in
sorted sequence to merge them with the newly transported entries. Data
scrap may result in the entries not being returned correctly in sorted
sequence.
These scrap characters, in many cases, were distributed by transports
into several systems.
In the majority of cases, these types of errors can only be solved by
cleaning up the export system and repeating the transport. If the error
also occurs in when you are importing the cleaned-up transport, the data
scrap must also be cleaned up in the import system.
As of Release 6.20, data scrap is no longer exported. See section 5c in
Note 1074030, and Note 718511.
How to do:-
Please copy the attached file(from note) in AB64012.zip to /usr/sap/trans/cofiles
or /usr/sap/put/cofiles and repeat the import.
You can do the same for SP SAPKB64013.
Please use the latest versions of the tool 'tp' along with 'r3trans'
as well.
Please let me know if it resolves or not.

REP: 3002 & 19200 - Character base report on n-tier application.

We are using ORACLE 8i as database server, IIS as Web server,
Front-end
is -Forms 6i and Reports 6i. We have developed Reports both in
character
and Bitmap as per client's requirement. Bitmap reports are
working fine
in 2- tier as well as in 3- tier application.
Character base reports are working fine in 2-tier application
but in
3-tier it shows “ REP: 3002: ERROR INITIALIZING PRINTER. PLEASE
MAKE
SURE PRINTER IS INSTALLED” We have tried and communicated with
local
ORACLE for quite some time, but the solution is not found till
date. (We
have tried with DESFOMAT and other parameters)
Is there any other way so that we can generate the output in
character
mode from 3-tier (without converting to bitmap) as this is a
specific
requirement of our client. (As within the premises they are
using 2-tier
and from remote place they will be using 3-tier application
through
web.)
Could any one please help us in this matter? Pl. consider this
as a
urgent.

Yu may want to use a dictionary which has a built in hash table for the key. See code below for starting point

GraphicAntialiasing="true" gives REP-0606 error

Hi Friends,
When i am using graphicAntialiasing="true" to make lines in my graphs smooth it gives me Rep-0606 error.
I am using reports 9.2.0.4.0. Is enviorment variable REPORTS_GRAPH_IMAGE_DPI available with this version of reports.

Kamal,
I would assume that REPORTS_GRAPH_IMAGE_DPI is available with your version. I am running Reports Builder 9.0.4.0.33 and it is available with my version. Be sure to restart your Reports Builder after making any changes to the REPORTS_GRAPH_IMAGE_DPI environment variable. I didn't think it was working yesterday, because I changed the variable while Reports Builder was still open, but my report graphs improved dramatically after closing and restarting Reports Builder.
graphicAntialiasing="true" did not give me an error, but did not improve the graphics output as much as the REPORTS_GRAPH_IMAGE_DPI setting. I took the Antialiasing parameter out again.

Create DC Failed: base-version-set-not-open

About a week ago, I created a new track BAMSPOC2. I imported a number of components into it from another track. Today, I'm trying to create a new DC on this BAMSPOC2 track. However, I keep getting a "Create DC Failed" error such as the following:

Anyone have any ideas as to what this error is? what base-version-set-not-open means?
A local folder is created: DCs/myvendor.com/capabilities/_comp/
And, I can create DC's on other tracks just fine.

We have moved several applications Windows 2008 Standard Server and setup it up as published application on xenapp but every time a user trys to print it get initializing error.
How is this resolved ?

According to RFC 1738, the Uniform Resource Locators Specification:

Remote Component SAPWUS Configuration require base version

Hi,
I would like to patch my SAPGUI Installation Server for SAPGUI 7.30 from patch 7 to patch 8.
I have downloaded gui730_08-10010496.exe.
My SAPGUI Installation Server is at version 9.0.43.0.
I got the following error in my NwUpdateInstServer.log:
Remote component '$SAPWUS Configurations' ({41D37BB1-B482-41BC-A1A4-B3662A55A021}) requires base version 2114, but local component is at version 902.
Installation server at <D:\SAPGUI\>: not all base versions are present
May I know how to solve this?

Hi ZL,
It might be that you used a sapsetup patch that didn't include AWUS, yet you are using AWUS or have installed/patched it in the past. So, I would start by applying the latest 'P2' sapsetup patch (pl45) to your installation server before applying the latest sapgui core patch. Also, hotfix 1 for pl8 for the gui core is now available and recommended, so you might want to go straight for that and bypass the original pl8.
Specifically, I think the files you probably need are:
SAPSETUP90P2SP00P_45-20008539.EXE
gui730_08_1-10010496.exe

You need iTunes 10.0 or greater to update your phone...iTunes isn't confused at all. If you're on a Mac, you'll need OS X 10.5.8 or greater to update iTunes to 10.0 or greater.

Report 6i/Webdb -Not able to display the report in the browser - rep- 3002 error.

Would someone tell what I missed, I have set up the following:
1) a report using report builder on NT
2) my database is in Unix
3) my report server is started in NT
4) I run webdb listener for the following code: http://myweb.com/cgi/rwcgi60.exe?server=repserver+report=myreport+userid=usid/pw/connect_string+destype=cache+desformat=html. Then, I receive this message:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job has terminated with error.
Reports Server Replies:
REP-3002: Error initializing printer. Please make sure a printer is installed.
Why is it thinking I want to use the printer whereas I want to display the report in the browser?. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like that your Web CGI did not configure right. To test if your CGI configuration is correct, type:
http://hostname:port/cgi-bin/rwcgi60exe?
If you get a help screen, then you should be able to bring up your report.

Questions on FND Diagnostics in 11.5.10 Base version

Hi,
We have 2 instances. One is 11.5.10 base version and the other is 11.5.10 CU3.
Doing, Diagnostics > Show Log on Screen > Statement (1) , is fine in CU3.
However, when I do that in 11.5.10 BASE I am not getting the debug messages like,
oadbtransactionimpl.writeDiagnostics(this, "start validate", 2);
I get the following which proves logging is on
"Warning - Low-level logging is currently enabled. Your application will not perform as well while Low-level logging is on."
I am seeing some logging information at the button pages.
But I don't see anything under
Debug LogHost: ga005hds.unix.us.ups.com:8192:16920: Thread[Thread-19465,10,main] Aug 24, 2006 12:19:14 PM EDT

Do I have to set a profile option or something?

It's the MDS DB connection problem. 11.5.10 failed to get the uix definitions from MDS to display the HOME PAGE.
Check $ORACLE_HOME/iAS/network/admin/VIS10_s859346/tnsnames.ora
Use OAM -> Site Map -> AutoConfig (System Configuration Section) -> System (Tab) -> System
to change the DB connection
