Replace environment specific values in xsl file.

My xml has source and target, whose values depend on the enviroment. I have used "Set Text" to assign the values for these elements. I am using SOA 11g, bpel process.
But since these are environment specific, I need to change them when porting to different env. I read that "SOAConfigPlan" wouldn't
work on xslt.
How can I achieve this?

  • Read Specific value/Search Into file

    Hi i need a java code which read specific value from a file.
    Example:
    I have a text file named data.txt
    it contain :
    Customer Name :Sarwar
    Customer Id : 001
    Product Price :2000
    now how can i take values 001 and 2000 from the file data.txt and save them in a another text file named new_data.txt ?
    Can any one help me?

    Search Google for 'java file read'. Wanna write to a file? Search for 'java file write'. Ain't Google awesome?
    If you haven't already done so, I suggest you search www.amazon.com for a beginner book on Java that has good reviews. Its much more efficient to read a book on Java than spend countless hours trying to learn it through code examples found on the internet.

    here's and example of what i need:
    I just want to replace the numbers 1 and 2 every time I run my code, the rest remain the same.
    this is the part of the code Im using
    thanks!

    Hello Tokighy,
    What Bryan mentions is a good approach, you can also check the Write to Text File and Read from Text File.vi in the Find Examples section in LabVIEW, you can take the output from the Read from Text File (having as input your .txt file) and then use either Replace Substring or Search and Replace String functions from the String palette.

  • How to set specific value of attached file in CRM 2013

    Hi,
    I have a requirement when I attach a file in notes it should has some value in currency. how to assign value for each attachment file?

    Hello,
    That's not possible.
    In case you want to implement it I would suggest to create additional entity, store value in currency inside, add reference to your initial record and store that data in this way.

  • Replace specific string in a file while reading it

    Hi,
    I am kind of an in between learner & intermediate programmer. I am trying to replace a specific string pattern in a file by reading it using BufferedReader & BufferedWriter. I tried it for 2 days. Can anyone give me a piece of code which reads a file line by line and replaces the specific string format with other? I tried replaceAll(regex,replacement). Nothing is working.

    Hi Torajirou,
    Thanks for the code. But, looks like
    . But, looks like it is giving me a static method
    problem. It says a static method should beaccessed
    in a static way(f1.replace in main). Here is the
    code. Can you help me with this?
    import java.io.*;
    public class FileReadWrite1{
    public static void replace(File file, Stringregex,
    String replacement) throws
    FileNotFoundException,IOException {
         if (file == null) {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("File should
    uld not be null.");
         if (!file.exists()) {
    throw new FileNotFoundException ("File does not
    not exist: " + file);
         if (!file.isFile()) {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("Should not be
    be a directory: " + file);
         if (!file.canWrite()) {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("File cannot be
    be written: " + file);
    File tempFile = File.createTempFile("temp",
    mp", "temp");
    BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new
    (new FileReader(file));
    BufferedWriter writer = new BufferedWriter(new
    (new FileWriter(tempFile));
    try{
    while (true) {
    String line = reader.readLine();
    if (line == null) {
    break;
    line = line.replaceAll(regex,replacement);
    writer.write(line);
    writer.newLine();
    writer.close();
    reader.close();
    file.delete();
    tempFile.renameTo(file);
    }catch (Exception e) {
         System.out.println("Exception occured :"+e);
    public static void main(String[] args) {
         FileReadWrite1 f1 = new FileReadWrite1();
         File file = new File("C:\\Temp\\src1.txt");
         String regex = "us.mi.state";
         String replacement = "us.tx.state";
         f1.replace(file,regex,replacement);
    }when I wrote it, I was sober and bored
    now I'm drunk and amused
    god
    did you try and remove the magic "static" keyword ?
    I wrote it static because I didn't refer to any class
    member when I wrote it and that's what I felt
    compelled to do, though I feel nowadays writing
    anyting static suggests some design mistake
    somewhere
    blahblahblahblahblahs/blahblahblahblahblah/blahblahblahblahblahblah
    (forgot a "blah")

    What you have is just a plain text file containing hexadecimal formatted text.
    Do you know the offset of the data you need to change? Is the "address" a variable? Why don't you simply read your file as plain text, use search string to find ":1064F", then increment the location by the desired offset to get the locations you need to overwrite as described by smercurio.
    How often does this need to happen? Is the file just 32k? For simplicity, you might just want to do the changes in memory and overwrite the entire file.

  • Configuration plan for chages in XSL files ?

    During SOA 11g deployment, can we use configuration plan for making changes / override values which are set in transformation XSL files ? Have been getting mixed response on the net, so need to classify on the same.
    Thanks.

    I don't believe you can. There is no specific construct in the config plans for doing that and I believe the search and replace feature only works with WSDLs and XSDs.

  • Can i use a environment variable inside a *.sql file?

    Hello,
    I want to create a external table.
    So i am using the command
    create or replace directory abc as 'C:\folder'.... inside a sql file.
    Now i want the path "C:\folder" to be dynamic as i am using this path in many other places also inside the sql file.So i thought to create a environment variable and put this value there.I tried using as %PATH% but it gives error..... where %PATH%=C:\folder.
    Can i use a environment variable inside a *.sql file?
    But how to do that or is there any other way.
    Thanks

    user11018268 wrote:
    Actually what i want is the path "C:\folder" is not fixed it can be anything which i may not know the user may decide it later. Not supported. A directory object refers to a specific physical location (directory/folder) on a file system. Not a path.
    You can work around it by (creating and) using a function (running under a super user schema with authid definer privs). The caller (e.g. schema scott ) calls it with a physical path. E.g. GetDirectoryObject( 'C:\folder\2010\feb\week4' ).
    This function determines if there is an existing directory object for the path. If not, it uses a wildcard search to determine if there are any directory objects for parents in the path (e.g. for C:\folder\2010\feb or C:\folder\2010 or C:\folder ).
    If it finds a directory object, it interrogates the data dictionary to determine if the caller, schema scott for example, has read/write access on that directory object. If it has, it creates a new directory object and grants the caller read/write access to it. The function then returns the name of the directory object to the caller.
    The caller thus do not deal directly with directory objects. The function returns the object name given a physical path as input. Also, only a single base directory needs to be created (e.g. for C:\folder ) and access granted to the schema on it. Any sub-directory in that base directory can now be dynamically accessed by the schema.

  • How to find a certain usage of a specific value inside an SSIS package

    Hi,
    In T-SQL, there are many tools to search for instances of a specific value in all the objects such as tables and SPs.
    The only way I can think of in SSIS, is to search for a value in the XML of the DTSX, but it is not that user friendly.
    Are there any existing tools or other ways for a value search that can assist ?
    Thanks,
    Dani

    Since a package is just a plain text XML file thus  you are able to perform a text search in the file.

    LOL - I didn't think about the forum message area having trouble displaying my XML XSLT problem
    It seemed to mix the code with the site XML.
    Oh brother
    The deal is this.
    The XML XSLT transform was working and now it is not and I think it has something to do with
    the HTTP links for either the Oracle core and/or XML TAGLIBs. Either that or the W3.org has
    outdated XSLT http links.
    Anyone know if changes have been made to any of these taglib links?
    This in the JSP
    <!--
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/xml" prefix="x" %>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>

    <c:import url="./HoursWorked3.xsl" var="xslt" charEncoding="windows-1252"/>
    <x:transform xml="${xmlHoursWorked}" xslt="${xslt}" />

    This in the XSL

  • Calling an XSL file in an XSL file

    Hi,
    I'm importing xsl file into xi and uisng it for mapping.
    My query is im using a function in my mapping which is actually present in another xsl file
    how can i call the other xsl file in my present xsl file which is the base file for the mapping

    i'll be a bit more specific
    i'm using
    xsl mapping
    i have 2 map files
    nested_flow.xsl is my main map file
    and substring_flow.xsl is the map file im calling
    <u>nested_floe.xsl:</u>
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:ns0="urn:Testns" xmlns:javamap="java:com.satyam.Javaclass">
      <xsl:include href="substring_flow.xsl" />
    - <xsl:template match="/">
    - <substring_node_input>
    - <InputString>
      <xsl:value-of select="ns0:nested_node_input/Person/LName" />
      </InputString>
      </substring_node_input>
    - <nested_node_output>
    - <Emp>
    - <Innitial>
      <xsl:value-of select="ns0:substring_node_output/OutputString" />
      </Innitial>
      </Emp>
      </nested_node_output>
      </xsl:template>
      </xsl:stylesheet>
    <u>substring_flow.xsl:</u>
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:ns0="urn:Testns" xmlns:javamap="java:com.satyam.Javaclass">
    - <xsl:template match="/">
    - <substring_node_output>
    - <OutputString>
      <xsl:value-of select="substring(ns0:substring_node_input/InputString,0,1)" />
      </OutputString>
      </substring_node_output>
      </xsl:template>
      </xsl:stylesheet>
    im trying to use the substring function present in the second xsl file in the master xsl
    if u can observe the first xsl (nested_flow.xsl)
    i included substring_flow.xsl using the xsl:include and and i tried to map the input to this substring function(Person/LName to InputString) and inturn oputput from substring to the output side field (Output string to Emp/Innitial)
    but when i test the mapping it throws a Transformer error.
    "Transformer configuration exception occurred when loading XSLT"
    I'm importing both the map files in a single zip file into xi. and i'm using the master xsl file(nested_flow.xsl) in the interface mapping where it is reqd to specify the mapping.

  • OSB: Passing environment specific properties to JAR resource.

    Hi,
    My scenario is as follows.
    As part of our proxy service message processing, we make a LDAP lookup which is done via a java callout to a static method which does the ldap call.
    Atm the ldap url & other properties are hard coded in the java class, but we need to make this configurable as these values differ in each environment.
    What is the best way to solve the above problem? property files? some sort of XML config?
    Our Environment: OSB 10.3, workshop 10.3, jdk 1.6.0_05.
    P.S We release a single package containing the sbconfig.jar which is deployed on all environments and a environment specific package which contains the customization file for that environment.

    atheek1 wrote:
    How do I do this? I was not aware that we could modify the xquery references in message flow. Is this even possible?You are not modifying xquery resource. OSB provides a feature called Customisation file to modify values and references specific to that environment when you do a deployment to that environment. There are different customisation types within the customisation file and you need to use reference customisation so that the proxy service refers to the correct env specific property file.
    Google 'customisation file' if you are new to this.Thanks, I figured that out.
    But this means that in the first global build of the sbconfig.jar I have to include the xquery files for all environments. And in the customization process I change the reference in the proxy service to the proper environment specific xquery file.
    This seems a bit clunky, as the xquery files for all environments would be deployed on the server. Ideally we should only ever include the xquery for that particular environment.
    Is there any other way to accomplish this?
    Can we define a JNDI provider that points to a ldap configuration?

  • How can I process an xml/xsl file pair that require the Internet Explorer dom?

    My personal navigation device (GPS) generates xml files that contain a record of where I have been, together with when I was there, how fast I was driving at the time, etc. taken at approx. 5 second intervals. This xml file has an xml-stylesheet with type="text/xsl" but that stylesheet is written to the Internet Explorer dom standard. The stylesheet interfaces with google maps to display a map that shows my path and it also displays tables of data including distances that are computed from latitude/longitude pairs. I can supply a small sample xml file and the xsl file as well if they are needed to diagnose my problem. I cannot find any browser other than Internet Explorer that handles these files satisfactorily. I prefer to process them from a Linux environment but with the Internet Explorer requirement I cannot do so. The browsers that I have tried and that have failed are Firefox, Opera, Konqueror, Chrome, Epiphany, Midori, Arora, and Links.
    One line in the xls file in particular gives grief in the browsers like Firefox that at least attempt to do more than display the raw xml file:
    xmlns:cymath="urn:smiletime-cybarber-net:math"
    A comment in the xls file says this about the problem:
    "Tested and currently only compatible with Internet Explorer version 6 or version 7 (as this script includes JScript functions called by XSL, msxsl:script extension is required; also, the produced XHTML document embeds javascript functions exploiting the IE DOM).
    "In order to provide compatibility with Firefox, other than checking the compatibility of the IE DOM, the cymath:distCosineLaw function still needs to be ported."

    You may get an answer, but it is not really the sort of subject covered by this forum, I suggest you try [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=49 Mozilazine] and if you solve the problem post back again.
