I have problem with this files xsl, the problem is the output for the field date and number:
a) `2011-05-13T21:50:00` instead of `13/05/2001 21:50:00`
b) `.00` instead of `0`This is the output in XML:

Thanks for your answer, I use database MySQL.
This is the solution in the ASP code:
SELECT DATE_FORMAT(myDates, '%d/%m/%Y %H:%i:%s') myDates
         , REPLACE(NET,'.', ',') NETEdited by: user6317803 on Sep 1, 2011 9:09 AM

  • How to use an .xsl file to transform input XML to re-formatted output XML?

    Hello,
    I have a .xml file from a report that I want to use a stylesheet to transform into a different .xml format.
    I am reading that I can create a .xsl file to read my input and then transform it to a new output .xml file.
    How do I load this into the Apps?
    I tried creating a template definition and loading the .xsl in as type 'XSL-TEXT' and also, I added
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="Transform.xsl"?> to my xml data source. The output looked the same as the input.
    Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions would be great!
    Thanks

    This is how I use e4x with HTTPService:
    import mx.collections.XMLListCollection;
    import mx.rpc.events.ResultEvent;
    [Bindable] private var claimsXLC:XMLListCollection;
    private function claimsHandler(evt:ResultEvent):void{
        claimsXLC = new XMLListCollection(evt.result..claim as XMLList);
    XML data is being returned, but I use XMLList to create the XMLListCollection.

  • How to Automatically generate .XSL file of XML file ???

    Hello Everyone,
    I have UI which provide the facility to create own format by using drag and drop utility. I have also xml file which contains the data. Now task is how to automatically generate the .xsl file of the dynamically designed format for the data stored in xml form.
    If you have any idea about the solution of the above problem.
    I will thankful for any help regarding this…
    Thanks
    B. Kumar

    XSL stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language, and is a style sheet language for XML documents. .xsl is the extension of the XSL file.Thank you, I am aware of all that.
    When we design any format by using drag & drop utility, System has to generate the .xsl file (extensible stylesheet for the xml document).Why? To accomplish what?
    And then .xsl file is used to display the data which is stored in xml document on the webpage with designed format.So you need to define the mapping between XML and HTML? and you're hoping to do that automatically?
    That's a job for a user interface designer. Not a tool.
    In brief we need to write a parson
    Parser
    which will take any designed format and generate the .xsl file for that design, to display the data which is stored in XML document.Doesn't make sense. It would make more sense if you started from a schema. Starting from an actual XML document, i.e. an instance of the schema, no, not even slightly.

    It seemed to mix the code with the site XML.
    Oh brother
    The deal is this.
    The XML XSLT transform was working and now it is not and I think it has something to do with
    the HTTP links for either the Oracle core and/or XML TAGLIBs. Either that or the W3.org has
    outdated XSLT http links.
    Anyone know if changes have been made to any of these taglib links?

  • Using multiple XSL files parsing a XML file

    Hi,
    Can a single XML be procesed by a XSL file in which are included many XSL stylesheet?
    I mean, my Java servlet writes the results of the SQL
    queries in a single XML document. Something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <body>
    <!-- Part 1 -->
    <record>
    <nombre>Monica</nombre>
    <apellido1>Amann</apellido1>
    <apellido2>Ostos</apellido2>
    </record>
    <!-- Part 2 -->
    <record>
    <domicilio>Rodriguez Arias</domicilio>
    <numero>41</numero>
    <piso>5</piso>
    </record>
    <!-- Part 3 -->
    <record>
    <nombre>Ana</nombre>
    <apellido1>Garcia</apellido1>
    <apellido2>Ostos</apellido2>
    <domicilio>Rodriguez Arias</domicilio>
    <numero>41</numero>
    <piso>5</piso>
    <mano>Decha</mano>
    </record>
    </body>
    I want to be able to apply a particular stylesheet into diferent part of the XML file.
    I mean, i have a XSL (father), in which are included various XSL. My problem is that
    i can apply the bloque1.xsl to process part1 in the xml, and bloque2.xsl to process
    part2 in the xml and the same with the thrid.
    This is my XSL (father), but i don't know whats the way to do it. And i dont konw if
    it's possible to do it.

    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Finally i have to produce a single resultant report into pdf outformat. For this, i am using XSL-FO.
    Thanks a lot, and i'm sorry for my english language.

    The examples of Xalan (check xml.apache.org) do just that.

  • Issue on Web sharing and XSL files

    Hi all,
    What are the things to be taken care while we are doing websharing. I have an issue with one of my xMII projects. Everything is working fine on that server except xsl files. It is not getting transformed into HTML at run time. It is showing in XML format instead. I really doubt the problem is with my web sharing, because the same set of files(<b>including XSL file</b>) are working on a different server without any issue.
    I have done websharing by right clicking on the folder name, selecting the websharing tab and giving Alias name. Is that ok or anything more as to be done?
    Can anyone please trace out the issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Muzammil P.T

    Hi,
    Webroot is still in c:\inetpub\wwwroot, but i set up a new virtual directory to <b>c:\Lighthammer</b> and accessing xMII using the URL http://*...*/Lighthammer
    and my project contects using http://*...*/Lh/CompApps/MyProj/HomePage.html
    (I have given Lh as the Alias name).

  • XSL File In template manager

    Does anyone have an example of how to create an XSL File in the template manager? Is the file type XSL-test or XSL-XML?

    In EBS 11.5.10 Order Management ships examples. Here is a short exert:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format"
    version="1.0">
    <xsl:template match="P|p">
    <fo:block white-space-collapse="false" linefeed-treatment="preserve">
         <xsl:apply-templates select="text()|*|@*"/>
    </fo:block>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>

  • Giving reference to XSL file in the XML file in Plumtree 5.0

    Hi,
    I need to display XML file in Plumtree context, the XML file depends on XSL file for formatting. In Plumtree context when I execute this XML file it fails to find that XSL file though I have given absolute path for that XSL file. It works fine when I execute the same outside Plumtree context. Please let me know how to give reference to XSL file in the XML so that it works fine in Plumtree context.
    Thanks in advance,
    With warm regards,
    Shivakumar

    though I have given absolute path for that XSL fileUsing absolute path is not a great idea. You can use use something like this (assuming xsl class in place where loader can reach one, for example, in WEB-INF/classes):
    InputStream baseXmlStream = this.getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("AAA.xsl");
    You can access one through URL as well (in case XSL somewhere on image server, for example):
    url = new URL(imageServerURL + ".../AAA.xsl");
    conn = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
    int responseCode = conn.getResponseCode();
    if (responseCode != HttpURLConnection.HTTP_OK) { ...}
    baseXslStream = (InputStream) conn.getInputStream();
    ...

    Hi,
    I want to put my xsl file in some location not in BPEL suitcase. If i use processXSLT function using full path. it thorws filenot found exception.
    So does it mean i can not put my file at any other location and specify absolute file path?
    Thanks,

    Hi, I'm also developing for PPC platform on Oracle Lite. Did you consider deploying the application as a plain set of files? When I was making the decision whether to CAB or not to CAB, I decided not to use CAB deployment and deploy our application as a plain set of files with installation steps described in the setup.inf file you mentioned. We also perform updates frequently, but we almost never update all the modules - just one of two files at the moment which makes quite small amount of data in comarison with the huge CAB which would need to be transfered to the device if we use the CAB deployment.
    The documentation contains some useful information about the setup.inf format - it's quite easy to understand and use. First of all you have to create a JAR package (which is just renamed zip file) containing your application files plus the setup.inf file and web.xml file. Than you have to publis this application using the mobile server web interface. After this initial step, mobile server creates a directory for your application in {OLITE_HOME}\mobile_oc4j\j2ee\mobileserver\applications\mobileserver. If you wish to publish a new version of your application than, you just copy the new files (or single CAB) and increment the version number in setup.inf file.
    I think you can find setup.inf and web.xml samples in the forum's history. If you won't be able to find them, I can post some examples....

  • How to retrieve and use an XSL file from CLOB field

    I am using Java to query my data and return XML formatted data. I am able to format this data using an XSLStylesheet file. But I want to instead use an XSL Stylesheet stored in a clob field.
    I have an XSL file stored in a clob field. How can I retrieve and use it to initialize an XMLDocument and then create an XSLStylesheet.
    Thanks for your help,
    Les Smith

    I think this question has been raised before. Try searching this forum.

  • Wb_xml_load(control_file) target xsl file

    Is wb_xml_load(control_file) provides two ways for getting the xsl:
    1. XSLfile (file system)
    Address of the XSL style sheet which the Toolkit uses to associate parsed data with individual target columns.
    2. XSLRefURL (Http URL)
    URL the Toolkit uses to resolve external references made by the XSL style sheet.
    Is there any way to get the xsl file inside the database, if so, what format should be the xsl file stored as? it is very hard for me to find the resource anywhere.
    Thanks,
    Alan

    I found some of the answer in this post error while loading XML files into scott user which showed me that I was missing a mapping between two dummy tables.
    Now I am getting the following errors when I attempt to deploy:
    ORA-00955 Name is already used by an existing object
    ORA-06512 at line 35
    ORA-01031 insufficient privileges
    I suspect they are all to do with permissions as I am logged in as one user but attempting to write to a schema owned by another user.
    I am not clear about how accounts are used in OWB or even which account is being used.
    I am logged in to Design Center as User A
    The module containing the mapping to be deployed is created by User B
    The schema being written to is owned by User C
    I followed the instructions in the linked post but could not see any relevant objects listed even when I viewd all objects owned by each of the users accounts.

  • File Format options not appearing in the Save As dialog box - InDesign CC

    So i was working with a legacy file (an .eps from illustrator4) that i placed into InDesign CC, and when i went to export as a jpg, the option to choose a different file format from the bottom of the dialog box was gone. Did i hit some crazy shortcut to remove the options, or is this a bug that occurs when working with certain legacy files? I've restarted InDesign, rebooted my laptop, deleted my Adobe preferences, reset my adobe warning dialogs, and I still cant export or save as any other file format because the option doesnt appear. And it doesnt matter if i create a new file or open an existing one. Please help. See the pic below. No option for file format on the bottom of the dialog box.

    Thank you very much!
    Reinstalling worked, but i'd still kinda like to know what caused this problem & if this will continue to happen. To me, reinstalling is pretty much like having to reboot anytime you go to IT -- they dont know what the problem is, they just know how to fix/stop it.

  • Duplicate File Format options in Save As Dialog

    I am getting duplicate file format options in my save as dialog. I am running photoshop 12.0.1 on mac os x 10.6.4.

    Thanks for the answer, I have the same problem, happened after I uninstalled CS4, (using cs5 now) however I can't seem to find where the duplicates are located. Any tips as to where I should look?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How to export table contents in xml file format through SQL queries

    hi,
    i need to export the table data in to xml file format. i got it through the GUI what they given.
    i'm using Oracle 10g XE.
    but i need to send the table name from Java programs. so, how to call the export commands from programming languages through. is there any sql commands to export the table contents in xml format.
    and one more problem is i created each transaction in two tables. for example if we have a transaction 'sales' , that will be saved in db as
    sales1 table and sales2 table. here i maintained and ID field in sales1 as PK. and id as FK in sales2.
    i get the combined data with this query,
    select * from sales1 s1, sales2 s2 where s1.id=s2.id order by s1.id;
    it given all the records, but i'm getting two ID fields (one from each table). how to avoid this. here i dont know how many fields will be there in each table. that will be known at runtime only.
    the static information is sales1 have one ID field with PK and sales2 will have one ID filed with FK.
    i need ur valuable suggestions.
    regards
    pavan.

    You can use DBMS_XMLGEN.getXML('your Query') for generating data in tables to XML format and you can use DBMS_XMLGEN.SETROWSETTAG to change the parent element name other wise it will give rowset as well as DBMS_XMLGEN.SETROWTAG for row name.
    Check this otherwise XMLELEMENT and XMLFOREST function are also there to convert data in XML format.
