Replacing a face/head in photoshop touch

when replacing a face/head in photoshop touch, how do I blend the two images together..eg. skin tone

I'm thinking "match color" might help. Tap the layers icon in the lower left of the Layers panel; next, tap the icon of an artists' palette.
Make sure you have a selection made on the face and/or head before you do this for better results, else it'll use the entire layer.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch is not working properly on my Samsung Tablet

I just recently downloaded the Photoshop Touch App to my Samsung Tablet.  The program will open and some of the tools will work, but MOST tools will not!  I have attempted to clear the cashe, uninstall, and then reinstall the program.  The problem persists.  When will Adobe provide an update with repairs so that I can actually use the App I just bought?

    Dear Guido.
We have followed instructions to uninstall and and then reinstall the Photoshop Touch program onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
It is still not working properly.
NONE of the Fx's are working.  (about 26 effects!)
The Fx's under the menu headings of... "Basic" , "Stylize" , "Artistic", or "Photo" do not work!
Under the heading of "Adjustments"... only Invert, and Black and White work... NONE of the others do!
The items that do work are... the Camera Layers, Layers and Selections, Image Blending, and the Basic FX called Gaussian Blur.
Croping image size, text, etc. under the & symbol also work.
So, as you can see....at this point we have purchased an App that is practically USELESS even tho the Google Play Store said that it was compatible with our device.
Please Advise, or Create a proper Update for this device,
    Thank you

  • How to install cc Photoshop Touch on ipad and iphone?

I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber.  How do I download and install Creative Cloud Photoshop Touch on iPad and iPhone?

Thanks, Romit, but that doesn't help.  I see no group heading on the
supplied link that answers my download/installation question.
Do I load PS Touch to my iMac computer, then transfer onto the mobile
devices?  Or do I download directly from CC to each device. When I try to
download from CC directly to my iPad, (or iPhone), I get caught in an
endless loop, even after I've logged in, asking me if I want to become a CC
    subscriber.
This is not fun.  Or efficient.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet

Does Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet support raw-files?

No, not at this time, sorry. (Be aware that even if it did, I wouldn't expect you'd get to work with many layers due to the hardware limitations of tablets. You can only work with 12 layers max as it is. Just a heads up.) JPEG, PNG, GIF, PSD, & PSDX are supported.

  • Photoshop Touch Android

I have just purchased Photoshop Touch (PST) for my Nexus 7 running Android 4.2.2
I think the concept is awesome for on the go creativity with my photography.
However I tried plugging in my Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet and found that it worked sort of.
I could not access all of the screen with the stylus on the tablet. After so head scratching I figured out that the Wacom seemed to think it was in portrait mode while PST was in landscape mode and this was why I could not access the RIGHT side of the PST screen.
Is there some way I can tell the system/software what orientation to view the wacom?
I accept that the intention of PST is TOUCH and therefore designed to work with a stylus on screen but if it is possible it would be just nice.
    Any suggestions?
    Edit
I just found this on the Wacom site
    http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13918
It says that the Android driver in 4.x only works in landscape and it is supposed to be fixed in 5.x

Upon looking at my first post I made a typo in the edit. The Bamboo Tablet works in portrait mode NOT landscape as I typed by error. This the issue with PST, it only comes in landscape and does not auto rotate if you rotate the nexus 7.

    Hi Triduo2,
I am afraid you can not download Adobe Photoshop Touch application for free as Adobe Photoshop Touch is not a part of  Photoshop Photography Program subscription.

  • Photoshop Touch (Tablet)

I'm using Photoshop Touch on a tablet.
It won't allow me to add any of the pictures I have on the device cause it's not recognizing the media.
Last time I used it a couple months ago, everything worked fine.
How do I fix this issue?

If you're talking the Nexus 7 2013, you're talking about one of the best tablets of its class. The 2012 model isn't too shabby either. Both models can handle PS Touch just fine. (I have a 2013.)
You can certainly export PS Touch projects as PSD files for use in Photoshop. (You'll have to get to know PS Touch's file browser but it's pretty easy.) I would suggest having an account with a service like Dropbox. That way, you can export Photoshop-compatible PSD files directly to your Dropbox account (or similar service) from within PS Touch. Remember that you can bring PSD files back into PS Touch but any layers contained therein *will* be flattened. (I imagine this was done as a failsafe measure; tablets aren't exactly desktops right now. I forgot the exact number but I l believe the layers allowed in PS Touch is 12.)
You don't have to pay for Creative Cloud per se; they'll give you a 2 GB storage account for free. Albeit not a whole lot of space, you can use this space to upload anything and import it into PS Touch without storing it on the tablet. You can also use this space to backup your PS Touch projects in the event of a tablet reset/wipe (which I would suggest as there's no other way to get them back save for exporting as PSDX files).
Remember that PS Touch, though its similar to its desktop cousin Photoshop (or even Photoshop Elements), is a bit of a different animal. There are many elements within PS Touch that exist in Photoshop but are done a bit differently in PS Touch.
Think of PS Touch as more of an extension or companion of Photoshop rather than as a replacement. It's perfect for on-the-go projects when inspiration strikes and you're not at your desktop computer.
ON EDIT: Oh, I forgot to add: 16 GB should be plenty enough space; I have the 16 GB model of the Nexus 7 and, quite frankly, my music collection takes up more space right now than my PS Touch projects do.

  • Is Photoshop touch as professional as the desktop photoshop?

I have a designing company. My designers use their laptops mostly for designing on photoshop. They have to  travel sometimes between cities by car with a driver for hours. When they are traveling they can't use their laptops but they have their own iPads and I'm thinking about purchasing Photoshop touch for them to use it during that period.
My questions is: Is Photoshop touch for iPads as professional as the desktop Photoshop? Can it replace the desktop Photoshop?

    No, it's not even close.
iPads don't have the computing power or memory to do the same things as a desktop computer.

  • Easiest way to replace a face in a picture?

    In Elements 10?

Use Photoshop Elements 7 or later.
    Open both the images :
    1) with face to replaced
    2) with face to be replaced with
Now go to File > New > PhotoshoMerge Faces
Drag the image, in which you want to replace the face to the right Bin(Final)
Click on the sourse Face image( from Project Bin) to open it on the Left Bin(Source)
Make small strokes on the face and see it getting copied on the image in the right.
In case the alignment of facaes is not automatically correct, use alignment tool button to drag and place the three Anchor points on both the right and Left images to mark them as corresponding points.

  • Photoshop Touch detailed Review/Walkthrough

For people considering purchasing this program, I have put together the following review/walkthrough of Photoshop Touch for Android.
It is quite long and goes into some detail on the majority of features available in Photoshop Touch, while also highlighting some of the major flaws.  I am extremely concerned with correctness, so if I have made any mistakes please let me know and I will correct it as quick as possible.
Hopefully some of you find this review/walkthrough useful in your evaluation.  It really is a rather amazing program, which with just a few flaws corrected would be one of the best apps available for Android!
To other PSTouch owners, what are your experiences? Do yours echo mine, are there things I have missed or items you disagree with?

That is a good point.  I really should have made it implicit that you can no longer manipulate/edit/transform as text.  The way I have it worded now makes it sound like you can't do those operations at all.  I will alter it to match, thanks for the heads up.
Coincidentially, I actually find it out shockingly close it came to being Photoshop CS on a tablet!  Frankly if it exported PSD as an option, it would be at the very least "good enough" for 90%+ of my tasks.  I also bought Sketchbook Pro and witnessed it's evolution, and frankly, Photoshop touch launched in a much more complete state!  With the exception of a few warts ( use the native UI!!!, even if just to map Back button to cancel! ), I am pretty much satisfied with it out of the box...  except of course the (artifical?) limitation to PSDX and JPG!

Can i open and edit animated GIF in Adobe Photoshop Touch?

No, only regular static GIF images are supported. The desktop version of Photoshop does support this however.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch Question / Issue

    Hello,
I bought Adobe Photoshop Touch some time ago for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and I liked it so much. Of all the apps I had for photo editing, this one gave me all I need. I used to own Adobe Photoshop CS2 on my old PC so I wanted something for my tab as well. I was very satisfied by this app until my tab died some time ago. After a pain of service and repairs, the tab worked again but it had a new issue. Anytime I used the device on something more demanding (i.e. playing games ) the tab overheated a lot and the screen started to touch itself very much as, if it was pressed all the time. After some time of struggle with it I decided to wipe it clean and pass it out to a family member who would maybe dedicate more time to fix it.
Last month I bought myself a new device ( Sony Xperia Z ) and I was eager to get all my data on it and apps of course. To my sadness Adobe Photoshop Touch is not compatible with my device now, and it just sits there in my app list doing nothing . I could install only Photoshop Express but it does not give me the full access I had with Touch. I saw that there is another product called Photoshop Touch for smartphones and it seems to be the same as what I had only phone edition.
My problem is that I can not get this new app unless I pay for it and I do not wish to do that because I already paid for the previous edition.
My question is: Can I somehow obtain the Smartphone edition and the previous version ( which apparently is for tablets I suppose ) be removed from my Google Play account. I would purchase the smartphone version but there is no point in having 1 app 2 times.
I would happily like the staff to remove my previous version from my account if they would gave me the smartphone version and I acknowledge that the tab app was more expensive than the smartphone version and Adobe will not refund me the money difference nor are they obligated to give me the smartphone version. I am just asking if it would be possible because I like that app and it's such a shame for it to be in my app list and not be used. Thank you for your time in reading this and no matter what answer I get, I will be ok with it. Have a nice day .

I don't think you'll have much luck. PS Touch for tablets was designed for just tablets; PS Touch for phones was designed for just phones. Touch for phones came out a little later than Touch for tablets. (By several months, if I recall.) On the brighter side, if you ended up buying Touch for phones, you'd be covered no matter which device you had.
Both are very similar in function. I believe the only differences are their UIs; Touch for tablets is landscape-oriented-specific while Touch for phones is portrait-oriented. (Some elements are also placed differently.) I imagine this allows for maximum utilization of screen real estate and element placement.

  • Adobe Photoshop touch to Mac and back without adobe cloud costs & privacy issues.

How do I transfer files between Adobe Photoshop touch and my adobe creative suite applications on my mackintosh computer? I do not want to pay for additional adobe cloud services. In addition I have concerns over the privacy of adobe's cloud for certain images. As a retired plastic surgeon, I have used Photoshop for years to help with public and patient education. Final posted images can have privacy concerns addressed. I do understand that I can transfer a single layer from Photoshop touch back to the computer by mail or camera roll. procreate has a Photoshop export tool.
Where is Photoshop touches export tool? if the only tool is through the additional monthly charges of the cloud, you are alienating loyal Adobe customers.

Thank you for your help. I have finally figured out and shared my first image. The fear was that I was going to be charged a monthy fee just by using the service. It would be nice if there was a footnote with something to that effect. All I was seeing was the monthy and yearly fees.
Finally found this, boy it was burried.
What happens to my files in the cloud if I cancel my membership?
If you cancel your paid membership you will still have access to the free level of membership, which provides 2GB of storage. You will have a 90-day grace period to delete files to get your cloud storage down to 2GB (or to purchase additional storage separately if you choose). If you leave more than 2GB of files in your cloud storage for more than 90 days, you may lose access to some or all of your files.
Can I access Adobe Creative Cloud without being a paying member?
Yes, there is a free level of membership for anyone who wants to explore Creative Cloud before committing to a paid membership. To sign up for a free membership, go to www.creativecloud.com and follow the instructions to get started.
What do I get with the free level of a Creative Cloud membership?
The free membership will provide you with access to powerful file syncing and sharing features, 2GB of storage space, free levels of Adobe services, and access to 30-day free trials of all CS6 applications and other Adobe desktop applications, such as Adobe Edge preview and Adobe Muse.
I will now try to figure out the privacy issues next. In the non public folder, who other than myself has access to sensitive photos? Trying to read the leagal documents is quite confusing.

  • I am member of creative cloud, so how to install Photoshop touch on iOS iPad 4 & not pay $9.99?

I am a new member of the creative cloud and I have had no issues installing the creative cloud applications on my desktop (mac and PC), however my question regards installing the Photoshop touch app on the iOS iPad 4 device without having to pony up the $9.99 iTunes app fee.
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-photoshop-touch/id495716481?ls=1&mt=8
The above URL is the path that the Adobe website provides to download the app, and I can successfully access via iOS iPad 4. However it appears that I need to purchase the app for $9.99. It is not clear how I can use my yearly creative cloud membership to avoid paying the app fee.
Please advise if I am not looking in the correct place, or if I need to login via my Adobe ID to bypass this iTunes cost.
I could not locate an installation guideline on the Adobe website, so please advise.
    Ken R. of New Jersey.

    Yup, clear now.
I do like Adobe apps, but the price tends to be on the high side. I am a bit disapointed that the touch are not available via the cloud subscription, so I will stick with the desktop versions instead as they are more robust anyway.
I see that Adobe has removed this statement under the plans, when the link is clicked, so I am certain I will not be the only person to be confused regarding what is included.
Thanks for the follow-up, this was very helpful.

  • What Is the best way to upload and download psd files from Photoshop to Photoshop Touch? [was:Re]

What Is the best way to up load and down load psd files from desktop photo shop to photo shop touch? For on the go touch up or. I'm using psd files at 90 percent 300 depi when in photo shop on desktop. To ps touch

    Hi Bford225,
I'd recommend using your favorite web browser and going to https://creative.adobe.com/files for uploading from the computer.
Keep in mind tablet capabilities are much less than a computer, so large files might take a long time to download and be very system intensive to work on. Although you can import files up to 12 megapixels I'd recommend something more mid range, like 6 or 7 megapixels, ie 2880 x 2160 or 3072 x 2304.
Also, PSD files are flattened when imported into Photoshop Touch.
    Hope that helps,
    -Dave
