Replacing the default Parallel model UUT Dialog

What is the best way to replace the default UUT Dialog for the parallel model? I don't want to modify the default parallel model, but use the callback options in my sequence to replace the default UUT dialog.
Things already tried:
1) Generated a UIR to replace the default UUT dialog.
2) Placed an action to call the new dialog into the PreUUT callback.
3) Created a statement function that change the status to display the default UUT Dialog and place into the ModelOption callback.
This replaced Default UUT Dialog with the new UUT dialog. But the new UUT Dialog panel shows up in four different panel, one for each of the four socket being executed.
The goal is to have the new UUT Dialog appear only once to handle all 4 sockets. The default parallel model initialize the default UUT dialog panel then uses display panel to view UUT dialog. Is there a different method to have the new UUT Dialog panel appear only once for all four socket inputs and not multiple times?

There is an example for this under the directory:
<TestStand>\Examples\ProcessModels\ParallelModel
Edited: Just realized that what you asked is a bit different than the example.
I recommend you try one of 2 possibilities:
1) In addition to disabling the old dialog as shown in the example,
override the ProcessSetup and ProcessCleanup model callbacks and add
your code to display and remove your dialog there (you should probably use a "new thread" sequence call when displaying the dialog so that it has its own thread for message processing). Then also override
the preuut callback and add code to communicate with your dialog in
some way to pass and return the necessary information for each
testsocket. This could be a dll call or some other way of doing this communication.
2) Modify the existing code for the current dialog or implement something similar. The code for the dialog is in the cvi project for modelsupport in the same directory as the process models. If you are going to modify this dll you should copy the Models directory from Components\NI to Components\User and modify the version of it there. The Components\User version will override the version under Components\NI.

What font is used as the default LabView System and Dialog font on a Windows system?
Can I use the default system and dialog font in another software (i.e; Win word or Illustrator etc.)

For Windows XP, the font is Tahoma. I don't know if Windows has a method for changing this (I thought it would be in the display settings, but couldn't find it). Maybe in the registry?

  • Pros and Cons for replacing the default user template?

    Hi,
since I've installed a new server, I don't want to make any mistake,
If I replace the default user template (*.iproj) by my own, is it really a bad idea?
Am I better modifying the existing one (.plist) even if it is more work?
    Thanks

If I replace the default user template (*.iproj) by my own, is it really a bad idea?
While you can modify the default User Template, it is not a recommended practice to do so. Since you are managing clients via MCX, anything that you set in WGM for user preferences will be added to the user's profile at login. If you have a need for some specific application preferences that need to be added for users, configure the application on a workstation as a local user and then import the .plist into WGM. Anything else -folders or files- that an application creates in the local user prefs folders, that may be needed, can usually be placed in the /Library/Preferences, /Library/Application Support, and /Library/Managed Preferences folders on the clients so that users have access to them.

    iphonefan1,
To transfer your information from your old iPhone to your new iPhone, you are going to want to do a few things:
    1) Backup any information on the old iPhone to your computer. You can use Windows Address book or Outlook (2003 or 2007) to backup contacts and Internet Explorer to backup your bookmarks. You will need to import any pictures you have taken on the iPhone to your computer (they do not sync) or email them if you would like them saved. Sync your old iPhone with iTunes so that it will make a backup of your text messages and other preference information.
This article describes what information can be directly synced from your iPhone to the computer:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306071
    2) Take your SIM card out of your old iPhone and put it into the new iPhone. This takes all of your ATT account information to the new iPhone so that you will not have to run through a full activation again. You will have to run through a mini-activation, but all of your information will already be set up.
    3) Connect the new iPhone into your computer. As part of the mini-activation process, iTunes will ask you if you want to restore your iPhone from the backup. If you say yes, then it will use the preferences from your old iPhone and put them on the new iPhone. You can then sync any information (contacts, bookmarks, photos, etc.) that you backed up on the computer from the old iPhone to the new iPhone.
This article will help you import the data on your computer to the iPhone:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305741
    4) Once you are confident that all of your information has been transferred from the old iPhone to the new one, you can restore the old iPhone and that will put the software back to factory settings. That will also erase all of your old data. (This process cannot be undone, so please make sure you do not need any information off the old iPhone before you restore.)
    Hope this helps!

  • Is it possible to replace the default background photos which come up on the Apple TV with one's own photos?

I wish to display my own photos in place of the default ones supplied be Apple. How do I do this?

Not sure, but some remotes allow pointing one remote at it and by going through some steps, teach the remote each of the button codes.
For me, I opted for the Logitech Harmony remote. Think many here will say it is the best universal remote you can buy. Uses database from logitech (plug remote into computer, tell it model numbers of all your devices) and programs remote for all devices. It knows the AppleTV already and works great with it (and pretty much any other device that needs a remote).

  • Wiring the default name on File Dialog causes an error 43

    LabView 8.5 Pro:
I placed an express file dialog on my diagram. I wired the start path and ran my vi. As expected the open file dialog box appears, however if I wire the default name to the vi the dialog box does not display and generates an error 43. The default file name I am wiring is CT_TE5000001.xlsm. This was working fine on my previous LabView 6.1. I didn't see any entries on the known bug list. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you for the reply.
    I found my problem.
There was a \r\n appended to part of my default file name which caused it to cancel the file dialog.
The filename was CT_TE5000001\r\n.xlsm instead of the desired CT_TE5000001.xlsm.

  • Unable to replace the default icon with the application icon for SIS files on packaging

    Hi,
I got hold of the earlier (now removed from Adobe) available Adobe Mobile Packager (the free version). Now the problem is that I see the default packager icon on my phone for my Flash Lite application. Also, the packager does not allow me to select my application icon. I have placed the desired icon in the output folder along with its svg; doesn't help either.

You mentioned that you implemented loopback merge mode.  It's possible some of the settings being included in the merge are interfering with your new file associations.  Have you checked to see if there are any conflicting file
associations in other GPOs that may be applying?  If so, you may want to experiment with loopback
    replace mode.
Also check to see if any file associations are being set in the computer configuration settings, since you are attempting to set associations in the user configuration.  In a merge scenario the computer policy is processed after the user policy, and
has precedence if any of the settings conflict.

  • How do I replace the default java with a newer version?

I'm using Solaris 10 for x86 which comes with java 1.5 installed by default. I also specified that it should use the java desktop environment instead of CDE when I first logged in. I need it to use java 1.6, a JRE of which I've extracted to a directory under /opt/. I also need to remove the existing java 1.5 install. How can I do this safely?

Excuse my ignorance but I can only find the default profile in /etc/. The only contents of /home listed out with a ls -al are the . and .. directories. The only mention of the path variable in the default profile is:
    export LOGNAME PATH
I am logging in as root while setting everything up.

    Hi,
    wtlshiers wrote:
    If I have a string:
"%s is the %s I am referring to"
and - I want to replace the %s occurrences with DIFFERENT values... what's the best way to do this.Whenever you have a question, please post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for a little sample data, and the results you want from that data.
Explain how you get those results from that data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.3.0).
    See the forum FAQ {message:id=9360002}
I was thinking parsing it into seperate strings using substr and instr but, I'm not sure if that's overkill or not.Depending on your requirements, you might need to do that.
Replace is ideal but - it replaces every occurrence so - you can state just replace the first occurrence with one value and the second with another (i.e. if the desired result after replacing the above string was supposed to be "This is the string I am referring to"As you said, REPLACE changes all occurrences. There's no way to tell it (for example) to change only the first one.
REGEXP_REPLACE, is a lot more flexible. It does have an option for giving a specific occurrence, but you may not even need that feature. You might just want something like
    REGEXP_REPLACE ( '%s is the %s I am referring to'
                , '(.*)%s(.*)%s(.*)'
                , '\1This\2string\3'
)It all depends on your data and your requirements.
Are the new values (such as 'This' and 'string') fixed, or can they change from row to row?
Will you always have 2 (or some known number) of '%s's in the original string?
Does '%' always signal something that is to be replaced? If not, how can you tell when it does and when it doesn't?
Does 's' always come right after '%'? If not, what are the possibilites, and what do the different characters signify?

  • Keyboard input to change the default selection in a dialog box.

    Hello,
Let say I close a file that I had just edited without saving. I'll then have a dialog box "do you want to save?" with "yes" as default. If I do not want to save my changes, how can I select "no" or "cancel" with the keyboard?
I'm sure this is an easy one for a long time Mac user.
    Thanks

As a matter a fact there is. Just hit the first letter of the choice n = no, c=cancel etc. Edit. I tested this in Word for Mac and it worked but other programs don't so the method below is best.
An alternate method is to tab to the choice and hit enter.
    Cheers

  • How much does it cost to replace the late 2013 model Retina Macbook Pro battery?

The page on Apple's website isn't very clear: www.apple.com/batteries/replacements.html
I just bought my first Mac computer ever and I'm loving it -- and the battery life is phenomenal. I'm just worried that in a year it'll be half of what it is now which would not be unlike any other non-Mac laptop, but I really like the battery life this Mac gives.
So I'm wondering, at that point, how much would it cost to have the battery replaced? Does AppleCare include a battery replacement? I know that it's not exactly something I want to replace myself, so how much would it cost to have the Apple Store replace it, if not?

Thanks for the response. I'm worried partially about voiding the warranty if I remove it, and iFixIt's teardown of the latest 2013 Retina model suggests that it may be quite difficult to do without breaking other components...
If they wouldn't do it for free, is $129 the price of a battery, or the price of battery and replacement?

  • I use a browser-based Web CMS (CommonSpot 5.1) that uses dialog boxes (like a wizard). These boxes open very small and i must re-size them before seeing the options I'm trying to change. How can I change the default size of these dialog boxes?

the boxes include rulers and scrollbars, but I'd like to size all of them the same

I'm starting to come to this conclusion myself, actually... though, how mom managed to do this on accident without mucking about in terminals or anything more than just a cursory knowledge of the OS X system configurations (behind the scenes), I don't know : |
... on the other hand, her and I tend to be the exceptions to a lot of rules : |
I downloaded and installed TinkerTool, even though it supposedly doesn't work past 10.5.8, in the hoopes that, what it displayed (regardless of what it could change) would be correct as far as my "System" and "System (Headlines)" font settings were (see attached screenshot of the font section of TinkerTool for my system--not mom's).
I've instructed her to install and run the utility (but not to change anything) and then send me a screenshot of the "Fonts" section so I can compare it to my own. If there's something different on her system, since TinkerTool should work on hers, we may be able to fix it that way... though it would, frustratingly enough, remain a mystery to all concerned as to how she managed to stumble upon this in the first place : |
Anyway, I'm still hard at work on it... hopefully others are too and will share what they discover (if anything).
