Repo Sync fails when getting Sony Android Kernel

Hello Community,
I followed the guide of Sony:Code:http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/open-source/open-devices/aosp-build-instructions/how-to-build-aosp-lollipop-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/#build-aosp-lollipop-5-1
on how to build an AOSP image for my Sony Xperia Z1 under Ubuntu 14.04, because i would love to give other users a new ROM to use after i have used xda forums for years.
I have been successful until i do a repo sync after editing .repo/local_manifests/sony.xml
It then fails while getting the git repository for the kernel with the following messages: Code:: parsing /root/android/.repo/manifests.git/config

and the Branch is also correct.

Hello, Thanks for your answer, i copied the text again from the website and this time it worked. But when doing a repo sync afterwards i had the following error message:error: frameworks/base/: platform/frameworks/base checkout 225d3f5440dc7166d91bb848d508924c20a13286and when executing make after executing the changes mentioned to the sources on the guide:make: *** No rule to make target `out/host/linux-x86/bin/validatekeymaps', needed by `out/target/common/obj/ETC/validate_framework_keymaps_intermediates/stamp'. Stop.
