Report Change Request by Project?

Who knows about existing of some kind of report which can to find Change Requests assigned to Project? I assign Projects to Change Requests in "Context" tab (of Change Request) .

I think you may want to try using this transaction /n/TMWFLOW/REPORTINGN
However please kindly verify the following notes which resolve some issue in regards to the transaction limitations.

i had the same problem few weeks ago. I couldn't find the Change request Tab in Solar_project_admin
I fixed it by following : SAP note : 802793
The note explain how to re assign the client to manage change request management.
We folow the note, then the missing tab appear

Configuring BW to Report Change Requests and Change Documents

We upgraded to Solution Manager 4.0 on DB2 and need to extract the Change Request and Change Document tables to BW for reporting. We know that there is an internal Transaction Monitor, but we need to also report using BEx Analyzer for users who will not log into Solution Manager.
We found one table CRMD_ORDERADM_H for some Change Request fields, but cannot find the tables for the rest. Does someone know the tables where these fields reside? Thank you.

Creating Change Request from project structure

Hello.
Have somebody maked somthink like creating Change Request from Implementation project configuration structure? I want to initiate new change request directly from busines process step in transaction SOLAR02 for example.

Change request is created via action Create change document from support desk message
so in solar02 tcode...goto issues/messages tab and create a message then
crm_dno_monitor you can create a change request as i said and all the necessary data like ..system data,ibase etc is copied to ur change req from support message .

Move change request from a maintenance project to another project

Hello all,
we want to close a maintenance project A and create a new maintenance project B. We have a lot of change request they aren`t finish, so we want to move them to the new maintenance project.
The following steps we have done:
1. Doing all phases of the maintenance cycle of project A.
2. Close maintenance cycle project A.
3. Create a new project B.
4. create a new maintenance cycle for project B.
Now, we have the problem, that all change request from project A and maintenance cycle A didn't move to the new project B and cycle B.
If you create a new maintenance cycle in project A, all open change requests move to the new cycle. But we want to move them to a new project and a new cycle.
Have anybody a suggestion how to do this?

Hello Marc,
there are a couple of methods in a class that might help you if you DO have to do it... but SAP will not support you in case you have any problem.
you can take a look to methods of class CL_HF_HELPER.
Methods :
SET_BO_LINK_TO_CHNG_DOC is used to set link between SDMJ and SDMN
SET_BO_TASKLIST_OF_CHNG_DOC is used to set link between SDMJ and tasklist
as there are those methods, to create links SAP, provides some others that are supposed to break them (If i remember well they are not activated or finished but you can still have a look !!)
Those methods are
DELETE_BO_LINK_OF_CHNG_DOC
DELETE_BO_TASKLIST_OF_CHNG_DOC
RECREATE_BO_LINK_OF_CHNG_DOC
RECREATE_BO_TLIST_OF_CHNG_DOC

One more time... be carefull with those methids... I think it s quite dangerous to handle those kind of things without SAP's support.
Also, one mote thing... since many many customers have asked for this functionality; SAP is trying to develop the whole thing (with adjustments of Checks functionalites of ChaRM) for the next releases. Maybe that will be part of the next release

Change Request Management in Implementation projects or not?

Hello guys,
We are starting a Change Request Management project at a customer. We discuss in the blueprint phase whether we should be using it only for maintenance activities, and not for implementation projects. We have some people that can be working both in maintenance and also in projects at the same time.
We want to understand whether that scenario is possible and also whether is advisable. We want to have control over the process, and therefore we should be restricting the creation of Transport Orders through SE01 so that we know that transport requests are created only by change document action.
What are the drawback, difficulties, considerations you may consider in making that decision? Is it logic to work that way or is it better just to implement it for the whole installation, including implementation projects?

We want to have control over the process, and therefore we should be restricting the creation of Transport Orders through SE01 so that we know that transport requests are created only by change document action.
this you can do either via SE03 / Display/Change Request Attributes / SAP_TMWFLOW Request created using Change Manager X X / Defaul for all client = Mandatory
or
you can achieve this by just activating the CHaRM in SolMan ( solar_project_admin / system landscape / CHARM)

SAP IDM on Solution Manager with Change Request Management

Hi Experts,
I'm facing a question. Does SAP Identity Management manage association between user in Solution Manager and links in PPOMA_CRM tree for Ticket validation on Change Request Management project ?
It seems that it could be done using Compliant User Provisioning from GRC Access Control application.

Hello Ben,
as far as I know currently there is no "business level" integration between IdM 7.1 and SAP Solution Manager. You only can create SU01 user data as for any other SAP ABAP system.
I have heard that it is planned for the future to integrate the Solution Manager also in the business suite integration options the IdM product already provides for applications such as CRM, SRM and others.
Nevertheless you could create your own implementation for your requirements.

Why Change Request of a Project has changed by itself ?

it was reported that no one is able to change the status of SDHF documents in two of the projects which we have which are linked to our SAP ECC6 P01 Production system.
when investigated found that the "Task List" "Service Disk Transaction" are blank.
used the refresh button and problem was rectified, menue path is " Project > System Landscap > Change Requests "
the question is why such things happens ? can a system outage over P01 cause this ?

this problem occured probably because we had outage on production system, by refreshing the project the issue is resolved.

Change Request Management "There is no task list for this project"

Hello!
I would like to use the functionality of CharM in SOLMAN 4.0.
When I enter the Tcode /n/tmwflow/proj I receive the waring/error "There is no task list for this project" (/TMWFLOW/TRACK_N114)
If I create my own task list via Task list --> create
I get the warning "You cannot change task lists in the SAP namespace"
What are the steps to define task list for my project?
Do I need to configure SPRO ... --> Extended Configuration --> Schedule Manager?
The second warning I get: "NO CTS projects created yet" or
"The Solution Manager project does not have an active CTS project yet".
How can these warnings/errors be corrected?

Add new system to an Existing project in Change Request in Solution Manager

HI,
Is it ok to add new systems and remove systems to an existing Project in Solution Manager with Change Request Management activated?
Currently, Change request is already set-up in our solution landscape, however, a new BI Dev and QA systems were created to replace the old Dev and QA systems that was initially set-up in our Charm. Can you please share with me the steps that I need to do to successfully remove old Dev and QA from Charm and replace them with the new systems? Is it safe to do this in an open project and maintenance cycle?

Report for Support Message, Change Request and Change in one overview?

Is there a report that shows the relation between the support message, change request and the change in one overview? I am already aware of the Change Management Reporting via SOLAR_EVAL, but this does not show the whole document flow in one overview.
The incident message processors want to have a quick overview of the status of the changes that are created on the basis of the support message.
If there is no report, could you point me in the right direction... Do I have to create a query or are you using BW for service desk/charm reporting?

Not able to assign Project to the Urgent Change Request with Developer Id with the existing Authorizations. With SAP_ALL authorization, everything works fine.

The Urgent Change request is in created status and I am not able to assign project to it. Also I am not able to change the status of the change request to In developement with developer's Id. Everything works fine if i assign SAP_ALL authorization to the developer.

How to place a ABAP report program into a Change Request?

I used to create an ABAP4 report program, but maybe when I created it, I created it as local or $TMP that there is no any Change Request related to this program. Now I want to transport this program from Development to Test, how would create a Change Request that includes this program?

Generally objects saved in a local package are not transported. You should always assign those objects to a change request and a developemnt class or package.
Copy your program in to a new program and assign that new program to a CTS and a package. Then you always can rename the new program name to the old programs name once after deleting the old program.

Change Requests in the reporting schema?

Hello,
Do Change Requests, which I can specify for entities and tables in Data Modeler exist somewhere in the reporting schema? It would be a useful feature as it is quite cumbersome to figure out which entities are part of a change request otherwise.
