Report generation for users assigned to Function

Hi friends,
We require an report should consist of the following contents.
Usr ID(Mandaory) |   First name(optional) | Last name(optional) | Function(mandatory).
We are not able access USER_ADDRS table which gives all this datas. So, We are looking for other options.
Any inputs or suggestions will be appreciated.

But can you please tell me how to add the field 'Function' in SUIM-User by complex selection criteria?. Because we dont have any option like 'Function' in SUIM-User by complex selection criteria.

    1. As mentioned by Saby: use TCode SQV1 to map all the tables with a meaningful "foreign key".
    2. Download all Table contents and map them in excel by using functions.

  • Relative Generation for user POV

    I am developing reports in Financial Reporting Studio for Hyperion Planning. I want to create a report that brings in only the first three relative dimensions in the user POV. Specifically I have a Product dimension in the row section of the report and I want to make it so that if the user selects a member high in the product hierarchy that it returns only the first three generations so that the report is not really long. Ideally I would like the report to be expandable so that if the user wants to dig deeper than three generations they can by expanding. I can not seem to find a way to do this with any one or combination of lists, functions or relationships. I guess I am looking for a list like "RelativeGeneration,CurrentPOVforProduct" but unfortunately this does not exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    These sound like very good ideas. We will try to add a clone user capability. I assume point 1 and 3 could be combined; so we could show the SQL to create the USER and below all the grants.

    After compilation is completed, a window showing these resources will occur. But, how can I add this compilation report in my report generation...

    In this code: I read from "toplevel_gen_xst.log" file generated for the project; search for the string "Device utilization summary" and extract the part of interest Now you add this extract to your report compiled using report generation toolkit.

    2. AGR_USERS --> User Name & Role Name
    3. AGR_TCODES --> Role Name & Transaction Code
    4. AGR_PROF --> Role Name & Profile Name

    USR02 is the table containing logon information such as the password
    USR03 includes the users' address information

    USR11 contains the descriptive texts for profiles
    USR12 is the user master authorization values table
    USR13 contains the descriptive short texts for authorizations
    USR14 contains the logon language versions per user
    USR30 includes additional information for user menus
    USH02, USH04, USH10 and USH12 contains Users and profile and
    authorization change history data.
    Tables related with authorizations objects and authorization fields are as follows:
    TOBJ is the authorization objects table containing the authorization
    fields for each.
    TACT contains the list of standard activities authorization fields
    in the system.
    TACTZ is the table which defines the relationship between the
    authorization objects and the activities in those objects containing
    the Activity authorization field.
    TSTC is the transaction code table where authorization objects
    and values can be defined.
    but not getting any fruit full result.
    we are try to create SQVI query but not find the corresponding table.
    created user against role & role against Tcode  but not getting tcode against activity file value for particular user

  • Report Generation for Excel does not work after using the Application Builder

    I have a VI that writes data to an Excel file using the Report Generation Toolkit. I recently compiled the VI into a single Application (EXE) using the Application Builder. My VI runs its tests properly, but no data is written to Excel. What could be the cause? I don't receive any error messages.

    I usually build exe-files, which sometimes also have report functionality.
    Open the Application Builder and check the following things:
    1. Add the following vis: _Word Dynamic VIs.vi, _Excel Dynamic VIs.vi They should be located in the directory ..\LabVIEW X.X\vi.lib\addons\_office in the llbs _wordsub.llb and _exclsub.llb (report1.jpg)
    2. If you use an Installer, go to the Advanced Settings. There you can select some things to include in the Installer. Check if "NI Reports Support" is selected. (report2.jpg)
    These are the things I always do, if I need reports and I never had problems up to now. I made two screen-shots of these settings.

  • Crystal Report Templates for User-Defined Objects

    Hello Experts,
    I am running SAP B1 8.8 PL11. In the current patch SAP has default Crystal Reports that can be used as Layouts for Invoices, Credit Memo's so on. Is it possbile to have layouts for user defined objects ( say for instance i have a customized form under sales module, can i import a crystal template for this customized form?). In the report layout manager i don't see an option to import user-defind objects.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    the tutorial given for extension functions doesn't work as well as our new functions

  • Reporting tools for users in 10.7?

    I am new to Oracle, I come from the PeopleSoft side. PS has a great tool (PS Query) where users can create queries, and either view results online, or run the results to a spreadsheet, or even a Crystal report. Is there any comparable tool in Oracle Financials 10.7? Is there anything similar coming up in 11i? Any help you could give me is most appreciated!

    Just so we don't confuse ....
    # Oracle Reports (for standard reporting) - This is a technical tool , to be used by people who have been technically trained. While the end result can be given to users to run, this is not for user general use.
    # Discoverer (for adhoc queries, web publishing etc) - This is to be used by users, practically a person would need to be 'computer literate' in the user department.
    # Financial Statement Generator - Accountants love this, they will use it to produce management accounts.
    # Application Desktop Integrator (ADI) - Use this to up and down load to spreadsheets. You can use ADI to drill down in data. So you can post the management accounts on the Intranet and let users do thier own drill down etc. You will need technical asistance to set this up, but will run for users no problem. In many cases this solves the problem of 'Execel Junkies' working with Oracle e-Business suite.

  • I-Expenses Module. Has there been any reports created for users to query?

    hi all.
    Just wondering if anybody has come across any standard i-Expenses reports that have been shipped with related modules that would save us creating some ad-hoc and ORACLE reports. For example, a report that would tell us how many outstanding expense reports that have not yet been approved.
    Ive found you can export data from 'Internet Expenses Auditor' but thats just for us Admin types..

    Thanks for the suggestions.
    The reports are to remind users of their Expense Reports rather than them remembering themselves and finding out whats to do with any outstanding ones. I think I'm going to just stick with running SQL queries periodically and emailing the users.

  • Unable to show all fields from a table\view within a SSRS Report Model for user selection

    I recently added a new view with a simple SELECT (with 3 fields) statement to our existing Report Model DSV. I then went ahead to the report model (.smdl) file proceeded with the auto-generation of the new attributes which of course ran with no issues.
    I was seeing the three new fields as attributes. But when I went within the existing Perspective to add the newly added fields so that the users see them, one of the field is missing. It is just a VARCHAR field. What would it cause this field to not show up
    within a Perspective?

  • Modifying .PRM file for user defined database functions

    Hi,
    Currently we have the BOXI 3.1.8 Universe in oracle database and we are planning to migrate to SQL server 2008.And the universe contains few oracle functions and user defined functions in the universe objects.
    In the way of migration we are planning to have both Oracle and SQL Server database connecting to single universe. To make the universe generic we have identified the objects using user defined functions and trying to push it to the database.
    Since there are a few differences in the way oracle and SQL Server functions are invoked, we have decided to edit the .PRM files available in the path D:\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc , so that we have a common way of invoking the functions.
    Invoking functions:
    SQL Server : <SchemaName>.<function>
    Oracle: <function>
    1.Is there any problem if I edit the .PRM?
    2.Whether these changes will work fine?
    3.Whether the reports will run fine if I use those objects in the reports?

    Hi Lavanyaa,
    The PRM files actually state the functions that are normally available in a database, including the standard format.
    They are what drives the list of functions available when you build the SELECT definition or CONDITION definitions in Information designer... The fact that a function needs aggregation or/not is also determined in there.
    However:
    The SQL that you provide in the universe is what will be sent to the database and that must be 'understood' by the database.
    So it's not as simple as changing the PRM file and you will be able to speak 'universal' SQL in your universes.
    Fortunately:
    That complexity is taken away from you when you create a multisource database.
    You will speak 'data federator' SQL in the universe. Data federator will take care of translating it to the right syntax for each database. Notice you will probably need some customization to determine how a SQL will be handled when you need to query two databases, as the default is not automatically the best way performance wise.

    I am trying to pull up a report which should contain only orders with the Delivery Block.
    Through VL06O i can get the orders which need to PGIed, which are open, which are stuck in workflow and which have got delivery block.
    So is it possible to separate the delivery blocked orders (from an end user point of view) from the other orders. I tried to have a look at the filters which i could put on the VL06O-> Outbound Deliv. for PGI, but couldn't find it.

  • Short dump in report generation for bex query

    Hi,
    I have e newly installed SAP NetWeaver 7.3 and I'm not able to run BEx-Queries. When I start transaction RSRT and try to generate the report for the selected bex query, I get the following short dump:
    Category               ABAP Programming Error
    Runtime Errors         RAISE_EXCEPTION
    ABAP Program           SAPLRRSI
    Application Component  BW-BEX-OT
    If I start the test in RSRV for that query I get:
    Generation limits for the generated report
    Unable to load report GPEM3XZBL2Y9VX9H6SN
    Am I missing a profile parameter for that generartion limits or something else?
