Report is Currenty being Edited by SAP_SYSTEM

We receive credit card imports daily at 14:00. If a user has his report open while the import is trying to auto assign his report, I think the report becomes locked by SAP saying: "expense report is currently being edited by SAP_SYSTEM"
Am I correct in my thinking? Also, the import is complete and his report is still locked by SAP. Why?

Hi Britt,
SAP_SYSTEM is a generic system user, which is used for background jobs. If the expense report is edited by you while the system (user SAP_SYSTEM) tires to update it this is not possible. But still it seems that the user SAP_SYSTEM sets a lock for editing the expense report. Somehow this lock is not cleared up. Here I only can speculate what is the reason. It might be that this only happens at the end of a long running job or that the lock is not taken back at all by the credit card import. In that case it just will take a longer time, up to some hours, til the lock is released again.

Finally, the keycode assembly, BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeycodeDecoder.dll error is gone, after I installed Crystal Runtime 2010 SP1. Also, I tested Crystal Report 2010 SP1 on my Windows 32 application and I can tell that I do not have this error anymore and report is being displayed properly.
But Crystal Report is not being displayed on ASP.NET page on MS Server 2008 standard edition SP2 with IIS 7.0. Database resides on iSeries remote machine.
The MS Server 2008 is virtual machine.
OS system has:
Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
Simply the report is not being displayed at all. No errors are being recorded in the Event Viewer.
Nothing happens; excerpt the page is Loadingu2026 and Waiting for u2018website nameu2019 in the left lower corner of Firefox web browser.

ispnet_client folder has IUSR user and this user has read permissions to this folder. I even tried to change the permissions to Read & Execute.
I am developing my reports using Crystal Reports 2008 SP2.

Thank you for your response.
I checked the web.config file, all http handlers are there. I think the handlers are required to render the images on crystal report viewer but in my case the report viewer is not being rendered.
I have to questions:
1. What exact folders should be under aspnet_client\system_web?
In my case I have structure like this

aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
Should I have folders something like this

IMovie 09 movie being edited crashes after 128 voiceovers

Running iMovie 09 (8.0.6 (821)) on Snow Leopard (10.8.6 (10K549)) and a 15" MacBook Pro. First noticed this problem last spring. Went to Apple Support and their recommendations included removing plists and re-installing. Finally they said that the iMovie project file was corrupted and to erase and re-enter the movie. Did so but this time with fewer voiceovers and had no problem.
This fall, new project, same problem, after entering 131 voiceovers (having deleted 4 of them and re-doing them), my project stopped responding. I tried to re-start it, and then iMovie stopped working as soon as it loaded the project. I have had to start a new project in order to get iMovie to work at all.
Best guess on my part: a 6-bit binary number indicates which voiceover is being edited. When that number is reached, then no new voiceovers can be entered and an ilegal entry is shown in the error checking program that is part of iMovie. This causes the program to crash when it reaches this point in the loading of the project. Workaround: have fewer, longer voiceovers, but this is not really a fix as I make movies with up to 400 still pictures and would like a voiceover with each picture.

Apple doesn't have any staff monitoring these groups, it's all folks donating their time to helping other users of the iMovie software. They do however monitor that feedback form, and your writeup is detail enough for them to generate a bug report I'm sure.

Exporting report to Word, Word editable or RTF adds page breaks

Our workforce management software (Aspect Workforce Management) uses Crystal 2008 for customer reports. Previewing, printing, and exporting to HTML, PDF, and Excel all work fine but exporting the report to Word, Word Editable, and RTF results in a document that contains extra page breaks in the middle of pages or other strange paging behavior.
With the regular Word export and the RTF export we see some pages containing the first half of the page at the top of a page followed by a break then the second half of the page on the next page at the bottom of the page. E.G., lots of empty whitespace at the bottom of a page followed by lots of empty whitespace at the top of the next page which ends with content that should have been at the bottom of the previous page.
The Word Editable export doesn't seem to insert weird page breaks but every page says 1 of N as the page number in the footer. Other export formats number the pages correctly.
Our customers are demanding a fix for this problem, which seems to be a Crystal defect. I don't understand why PDF and HTML and Excel all page correctly but not Word, Word Editable, or RTF. How hard is it to generate the export without causing extra page breaks or incorrectly numbered pages?
Is this problem acknowledged by SAP to be defect in the word, word editable, and rtf export options? Is SAP intending to fix this problem?

So, if you wrote the code your self and it is in .NET, why was the issue posted to the SAP Crystal Reports Design forum rather than the .NET - SAP Crystal reports forum? Note that each forum as a nice description in the header as to what sort of questions should be posted in that forum. In light of you posting the issue to the SAP Crystal Reports Design forum, I feel it was a pretty fair to ask the questions I did ask... (?).
I feel that the way this communication is going, it may be a good idea if you do a bit of searching on these forums. Also, use the search box at the top right corner of this page (it will give you results for KBases, blogs, wikis, articles and more...)

Hi,
Go to administration -
Select appropriate option out of these - > repository/ Directory
now select LOCK OVERVIEW.
now you will get all the locked objects by any user.
Now focus on locked object which you want to realese
now press Button Release Lock .
Hurray !!! locks are released.

SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited

Hi All,
We recently built a new system which is Copy of another system.We decomission our old system.Now when ABAPer is trying to edit Z/Y programs in se38 they are getting message "SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited".We already completed all post process after system copy.Client is open and status in Golbal modifiable in se06.
How we can resolve this situation.

We rebuild new development system from the exsisting devlopment system and scrap old one.And yes thats true that new system is not the original system where object was created,its a replica of old dev to nev dev with SID change.

As i said earlier,post intallation is already completed.
Its a problem for developer who's getting some different format of screen when they editing development object ,like, when we perform manaul corretion in abap code through snote.They can see buttons to insert code line,delete line.

i am the only user using the system
so bit suprised how does it get edited
it doesnt come for other communication channel
anyway faced such a problem before

Looks like your communication channel has been locked.
From your XI home page, go to the Administartion --> Lock Overview and unlock your communciation channel.

SXMB_MONI-- Processing Statistcs - XML messages in "Being Edited" State

Under SXMB_MONI--> Processing Statistics, I see that I have a large number of messages in a state of "XML Message being edited". I need to delete these messages out of my system. The regular delete jobs do not work because they are not in a state of Complete Successfully or in error.
These are causing my persistence layer to be above 100%. Any input is appreciated. All of the online help mentions every statistic on this page except for the "XML message being edited".

Why is the tab being edited at the "master" page always in active state when i am selecting other tabs?

i am trying to create a basic mobile site with adobe muse. i have created a page with tabbed panels using the the tabbed panel widget and link each tab to its respective pages. let's call my tabs 1, 2 and 3. the linking are fine, but everytime i selected 2 or 3, tab 1 will also be in active state. the selected tab is with reference to the tab that is being edited at the "master" page, i.e, if i am editing tab 2 at the "master" page, tab 2 will always be active when i select tab 1 or 3.
i do not need this kind of confusion. can anyone help?

Hi,
This is an expected behavior of tabbed panel . When you add a tabbed panel in the master page by default one of the tabs is Active. So whenever you load the page, whichever tab you had selected in the Master page will always be active along with the other tab which you used as a link.
I would suggest you to use a Menu widget or a composition widget in order to avoid this.

Without further details, I am guessing that the Elements Organizer 12 is involved. You may have decided to edit a photo represented in the Elements Organizer, opened it in the Editor, and, then after the crop there, did not close out of the Editor, and went back to the Elements Organizer.
