Report of sysObjectID of all devices

Hello
This is more of a tip required. I am trying to get a list of all sysObjectID's of all devices within our estate. I've tried this through the detailed device report from RME as well as the device list report from Common Services but these don't provide this info.
I know you can view the sysObjectID's from Common Services -> Edit Identity but thats across all packages that LMS knows about.
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to obtain a report from Ciscoworks LMS3.1 to detail the SNMP configuration of all devices?

I am about to update/standardize to secure the SNMP configuration for all devices in the network utilizing Ciscoworks.
There is likely to be variations amongst the devices. Therefore, I would like to generate one report for all the devices, capturing the SNMP configurations, is this possible?
I know how to complete the work afterwards but am struggling to produce a meaningful report that I can use to build my tasks from.
I am trying to achieve this using a particular 'role based' account via ACS, so it is possible that I don't have the permissions with this account at present which maybe why I'm not able to do it.

Getting the SNMP trap community string is not trivial. The reason for this is that anything which shows the configuration will have this field starred out. You can get to the value, but not in a report-like fashion. You can, however, search the archived configs under RME > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt > Search Archive. Assuming you know the SNMP trap receiver IP, you could search on:
snmp-server host x.x.x.x old-string
That would show you all devices that still had the old community string.
If you need to force RME to get the new config data, you can simply schedule a Sync Archive job under RME > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt > Sync Archive. Of course, if you made the changes outside of LMS, you will need to manually update DCR with the new community string.

Alternatively you can always manage your iPads (does not matter how many) with a single apple id and all reporting to your account under "find my device" service. Keeping an eye on all your units. I have a problem making a DUAL LAYER DVD, i have done anothers before. But now I can't burn it.
It's a message error.

What should be the problem?

There could be a few reasons, a common one is bad DVDs or a burner going bad.

Not able to select "all devices" in device selector

I am having a problem selecting "all devices" in device selector in most cases in lms4.1. When selecting "all devices" it show up zero. Instead i have to choose "device type groups" and this takes about half a minute to show up. In some cases I am able to select it, but in most cases I am not. For instance :
Reports > Inventory > Management Status>Credential Verification Errors

The problem is now solved. But I had to do alot of reinstalling of lms to fix this. In our case it seemed like there was some sort error when importing devices from file when upgrading to a new release of lms 4.1. and 4.2 which we are now running.
I also had the same assumptions as you when it came to the domain. And this was also the reply I got from TAC.
To solve this I had to first delete all devices from the new lms installation that had some sort of fail under "inventory -> device status" Either not supported, faulty backup og not able to collect inventory. Then I did a export devices under "add/import/manage devices". Then I returned to a previous snapshot of the server from before I imported the devices the first time and then imported the devices that are 100% compatible again.
Now i am manually adding the devices that where first deleted.
In our case it might have been sufficient to just delete the devices with faults, but I cannot confirm this.
Now I have not seen this issue for 4 days, and earlier I had to restart the server every day. So I am very hopeful
This issue appeared when we first tried to upgrade from lms3.2 to lms4.1. And we used an import file of the devices instead of the backup from from lms. When we also tried to upgrade to 4.2 this issue still came back. We have installed lms4.2 on a standalone server with VMware and the linux versjon.

LMS 3.2 Inventory collection - Job timeouts after ~5h, all devices "Not attempted"

We have a strange problem with LMS 3.2 regarding Inventory Collection.
This problem started immediatelly after the LMS installation/upgrade (LMS 3.2 was installed on a new server, and LMS 2.6 database migrated to it).
All Jobs finish as failed, with all devices "not attempted".
Job hangs for a five and a half hours and then reports failed status.
The symptoms are the same for scheduled jobs and manually created jobs.
I also have opened a TAC case, but it seems that nothing relevant can be found in the IC_Server.log.
Also, according to a packet capture, it seems that LMS does collect SNMP data from devices after a job is started...
We tried to upgrade RME 4.3.0 to 4.3.1.
One Job immediately after the upgrade was succesful (Inventory was collected for manually selected device), but the next day all Inventory Jobs were failing again with the same symptoms...
Does anyone have a sugestion where to look for a problem trace?

Please chech the Existing MDF pacakge :
go to common service > software center > device update >>> check the checkbox for Cisco works common service and click on check for updates
--if there is an Update , please upgarde the MDF version..
--Similarly look for any Available Device Pacakges update for RME , if there are Upgarde all the Device Pacakages ....
--After all of the above Task is done , Now re-run the Job and it still fails then share the IC_server.log again..

Trying to install Airport Express kills wifi connection for all devices!

I changed the wi-fi security from WEP to WPA2 on my parents Westell 327w (802.11g) and I updated their iMac, iPod touch and their iPad. All good. Then I get a call from them that the light on the Airport Express (AE) is staying yellow. Crap, I forgot to change that. So next time I'm there I unhook the Ethernet cable from the iMac and plug it into the AE and use the Airport Utility to change the security setting (first I reset it). It gets to the point where it is updating and it seems to be taking forever and I happen to look at the iMac Airport menu bar icon and it shows what I interpret as a dropped connection (no bars) (the iMac was on wifi since I was using the Ethernet cable for the AE). Airport Utility reports an error of some sort and wants me to restart it. Every device -- iPad, iPod touch, iMac -- does not connect because they no longer recognize the WPA2 password. I put the Ethernet cable back into the iMac so I could use the web interface for the Westell and after an hour of deleting settings, hitting forget connection, and disabling and re-abling WPA2 security somehow I got wifi going again. Then I decided to try the old AE again. Same thing happened all over again. UUUUGGGGHHH!!!!! Please, for the love of God, can someone tell me what is happening? Sometimes the Westell drops connections (like to the iPad) but usually turning it off and on restores it. Maybe it just dropped by coincidence as I was updating the AE but I've never seen all devices not recognizing the WPA2 password. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks.

Open Airport Utility (open Spotlight and type Airport Utility) and follow the on-screen instructions. If you still have trouble give AppleCare a call this can walk you through the process.

LMS 3.2 DFM-all devices QUESTIONED-SNMP Timeout

I imported 26 devices to DFM. All devices became QUESTIONED, error is SNMP timeout. Here are the troubleshooting steps that I tried:
1. rediscovered devices
2. deleted and rediscovered devices
3. increase snmp timeout settings
4.re-entered snmp strings in device credentials
But I still get the same result.I noticed that devices become questioned so fast.Any advise on this?

What version of SNMP you are using on these 26 devices ?Try to do the following:
- Go to Device Center
- Select one device for test
- click on "check device credentials", select SNMP according to the version you are using.
- See the results.
May be you get more technical and detailed information about the SNMP timeout error. I have already experienced some problems using SNMP v3. The problem was resolved when I configured the SNMP v2c instead of v3.
Also, I suggest you to try do "SNMP walk" test in the Device Center. If you get some results reading, for example, the value of "sysObjectId", just verify the Credentials Settings in DCR. You can edit the Credentials trhough the Device Center -> Edit device credentials.

Show all devices that do not have an inventory

How can I run a report or show all devices that do not have an inventory? We have some devices that do not initially upload or run their first inventory. If I manually run it or send it to run from the console it works but I need to know which pcs to run it on.

ICloud mail quit working simultaneously on all devices and iCloud cannot load Mail.

3:00 pm eastern time iCloud mail account on all devices (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone) went to spin mode and and says "this account appears to be off-line due to a network problem.". But any attempt to take it online or to access iCloud online does not work. iCloud says "cannot load mail", and then allows me to report the problem to Apple which I have done over and over again. Looks like a major iCloud problem. Anybody else having this problem?

Down in Washington DC too (on the web-site and in all IMAP clients), since about noon, local time. The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. Especially, since there are multiple threads reporting the same problem, all over the country and even abroad (UK).

When you sign out and change your Skype account password, a sign-out is forced on all devices where you were previously signed in, even automatically. Hello another time guys,I got a 2 questions:1-Do apple check out most of apps on the app store if the are working properly?
2-Okay guys,i own an iPad Air and i play a game on the App Store called Graal Online Era,cool little game for teens.Okay so my friend is a hight staff admin in the game...So he knows all the things about the server...The server Lags...yes guys my friend have access to cpu usage etc...And even admins appologises sometimes cause the server crashes...Yes...Its made to support i dont relly know the exact number its around 3000players online and after years years we reaches 2500so when we reach that number ALL devices ALL even ipad air even iphone 6 even any device the screen freezes!!!wow...Apple should force the developper to upgrade the server so it can handly more players!And guys for ex:on the ipad 2 freezes 5seconds yes 5! ipad air:1 or half a second but its a problem when my ipad screen freezes my hole ipad freezes!!!yea a time the springboard lagged HARDLY...We(players of the game)call apple to force them really guys cant that game make our device laggy?really wont it halmware them?and how to report the app...Need help..Thanks you for giving a time reading this,hope the problem will be solved .

Cant find OGS attributes in report generator.

Naive question but here goes.
As a family we have one Apple ID. All devices are synced via my PC and backed up to it rather than to iCloud.
Books purchased via Kindle App appear on all the devices within the "cloud" option. How do I separate each reader's prefernce to their own device? I want to make sure that the younger one's dont have access to anything unsuitable.

You can have one AppleID for your purchases so that all teh devices can use all the apps without having to buy them again, and at the same time, have different iCloud accounts for each user so that their content is not intermingled with everyone else's. You can even go so far as to have your iCloud Account enabled for "Find my iPhone" for each of the other devices allowing you to keep track of where tehy are when they get misplaced.
If you need/want, you can share iCloud Calendars between different iCloud accounts as well. This is exactly what my wife & I have done. We share calendars so I know when she has classes or dog competitions, and she can see my work schedule so she knows what nights I have to be in late, etc.

then when i got the new iphone i put in the info for the first and main one from my mac pro and it would not work at all, and i knew it was right, then it asked me to create a new one or i couldnt finish the setup
