Can you Generate Report, Excel of PDF Spreadsheet within a Form?

Generate a Oracle ReportYou do that by calling run_report_object.
from the selections the user makes from 5 List Items From Oracle Form.Those are just the parameters you pass to the report via SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY before calling RUN_REPORT_OBJECT. E.g. if the user selects PDF this will be part of your code:
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(repid,REPORT_DESFORMAT,'PDF');
Search this forum, there are plenty of examples on how to call a report from Forms.

I want to create a Report as Spreadsheet with Graphs, When I run the report it creates One.xls and one.jpg for graphs in cache.
Is there a way to to know the name of the cache .jpg file , So that I can use webutil to move the file form the cache to the client.

Report 10g Crashed when i run report on spreadsheet

Hi gurus,
I am running report in 10g from a form its working fine when i set DESTFORMAT as PDF, but when i set DESFORMAT as SPREADSHEET the browser is crashing.
could you please advise me why it is happening.

I guess only the CHARACTER MODE report can run into the SPREADSHEET desformat.

Do you use the Oracle Forms builtin WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ?

View Crystal Report Layout for my UDO Form

Hi all,
I try to view a report created for my UDO form. I set all settings in Administration -> Setup -> General -> Report and Layout Manager. Now I wonder what should be assigned to eventInfo.LayoutKey. I tried assigned report's DocCode from RDOC, DocEntry of my UDO object or UDO Code but nothing works. Always get an error: Incorrect format of argument or something like that - I didn't get an error in English so I tried to translate it.
How to show a report layout for my UDO form?

How to configure standard report concurrent program in web forms.

I have developed new custom report using reports6i, and defined a concurrent program registered into AOL and assigned to a request group. I tested the report runs fine from form based applications. But user wants to run this new report from web forms(Incentive Compensation). I have no idea how to create a concurrent program link in the Incentive compensation module web forms.
Is there any document to configure oracle report concurrent program into web forms?
or guyz please send me the steps (screen shots) to add custom report concurrent program to web forms?
Please help guyz...I'm new to web forms......

Naveen,
On some event on the page (like a button submit) you can call a PLSQL API with parameters which can further submit your concurrent Request.
If you want to see the Report output in Apps, it can be done directly. Otherwise if you want to see the value in the Self Service Page itself, then you can extend the oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.server.RequestSummaryVO for your case.

You can find the name of the standalone reports server in $ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/ReportsServerComponent.
Or you can use Fusion Middleware Control Console, normally at http://<machine name>:7001/em

Muse makes files through interface design approach. It has actually nothing to do with the running of your site. And this forum is for Business Catalyst, Adobe's CMS. If you are not using that and a 3rd party then for tracking etc that is based on you or someone else installing the google analytics code on that website. Muse has nothing to do with that.

Oracle Reports doesn't show parameter form running on middle tier

I have a report that uses the parameter form. When I run it on the middle tier the report runs but without first displaying the parameter form. I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to get the parameter form to show when running on the middle tier. It is using OAS 9i as the application server.

Yahoo Messenger by default installs a number of extras such as the Yahoo toolbar and a browser plus plugin. There are a couple of places to check to uninstall these.
