Create smartform and execute the form u will get a function module then click on pattern (from main program)and give the function module name in main program .
then that smart form will be printed.

Central Management server - executed a query but how to send the query output in the form of mail?

i have used CMS in SQL 2008 R2. i have added couple of servers in its group. i have executed a query & i need to send the query output in the form of email.
basically query is checking the rows count from couple of user tables in servers.
issue here is how to copy the data that is used by CMS? i need to work on automate the rows count in difft user table in db servers

Reading the form as XML, using WDJ

Hello.
I'm using WD for Java and ZCI layout.
I've seen this thread-

about getting data from tables in the form by reading the form's XML data.
I tried to search for a method to get the XML in IWDInteractiveForm, and other classes, but I didn't find anything.
So how can I get the form's XML when the user clicks Submit?

Hi Kathy
After loading a form over XML, we made the experince that in matrices link buttons will not appear everwehere they should. It's a tricky part and we made a work around by changing the columns order and then...the Link Buttons came up ok.

How to obtain data from SAP in the form of XML

We have a requirement to integrate SAP CRM server with 3rd party utility.
The 3rd party utility needs SAP Data in the form of XML.
please guide me in getting the following data in the form of XML;

Please suggest the soution for the below:
We are using SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY and WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT to create report. Now Requirement is to save the report output to Client instead of server. I tried to use WEBUTIL but web util can be used from form only becuase that is using form item.
(1) We are calling all our report from a form. Is there any option to trigger a action when ever a report job is created in Application server (report server)
(2) Please let me now is there any option to create the output directly to client of application server 10G R1WIN , 10GR2WIN or in 11G. If yes please let me know the details.

Reports output in Excel form fail - Finished successf output is voided

We have oracle 10g application server on solaris. A few of the reports are configured to have the output in PDF and other reports in excel form.
The reports which are configured to give the output in excel form fail with Finished successfully but output is voided.
I have the below paramters configured

<property name="cacheDir" value="/reports/reportoutput"/>
Are there any other parameters I should set or look out for. So that the reports are which give excel output are successfull.

I have a requirement to generate a report in different format like 'PDF','EXCEL' AND 'XML' in my OAF page. for 'PDF' i am able to generate report after selecting the output fromat from my choicebox through below code :

Using web.show_doc u can only display the reports. If you want it to be stored in the server, you can use run_report_object.

How to increase the font size of the report output in the printout.

in our system when we click on print. on widow is coming.
there is a properties button.
we click on it.
there FORMAT----AND then we select forat from there and then printing .
not sure. but check on ur system. is there properites button.

You can specify attributes such as the character width and font size in the device type formatting yourself.

    Can you please let me know is the ERMS configured in your system or you are sending
    the mail to the customer using Action Profiles. If you are sending the mail using a smartform
    assigned to an Action profile then you can display that report internal table data or etc.. in
     the smartform itself so that the output data will be available in the e-mail body itself.
    Please let me know the way you are sending the e-mail if the above ones are incorrect.

Questions on the forms output
1) What is best way of achieving the output of a form in various languages? Both for SAPSCRIPTS and SMARTFORMS?
2) If I develop a form(SAPSCRIPTS or SMARTFORMS) in English, what kind of efforts are required to get the output in German or Swedish?

Hi Sapna,
While creating a new form u must hv seen an input box of language below the form name input.
Just select ur relevant language type by using F4. For eg: Swedish:SV & German:DE.
Get ur relevant text for the corresponding language & create the form as normal.

Output to the printer printing xml tags with actual output

Hi,
we are calling fnd_request.submit_request with 'XDOREPPB' and assigning a printer to it.
the output that is getting printed has both the xml tags and the actual output.
anyone has any idea what might be the reason.

Got the solution. These tags are getting generated from standard report and we can use <columnname>[1], <columnname>[2]... etc if there are multiple tags with same tag names.
