Reporting currency change in FI reports in SAP

Hi.
Iam new to financials in SAP.
I would like to know if there is any central setting or master setting in SAP to default the reporting currency for all the FI reports the user is seeing in SAP ?

  • XL Reporter Currency change

    I am curerntly using XL Reporter in SAP 2005. One of the report was created in Foreign currency and I need to convert that to Local currency. I am just wondering, how do I change the currency in XL Reporters reports? I tried to change the currency codes under advanced report builder but it doesn't help.
    One thing I noticed is there's a 'Unit Price' column with formula 'ixGet (SO_Price)'. I assume that is the field that I need to change in order to change the currency? Any helps will be much appreciated. Thanks.

    The reason is:
    The original report was created in XL Reporter in another db (in FC). We just created a new db recently and needed to convert that to LC. In Excel, so far, the only field that I noticed is the 'ixGet(So_Price)' (under column UnitPrice) that might determines the currency. I am thinking to play around in Report Composer to find out the equivalent of So_Price (in LC) and subsitute that with So_Price. Hopefully that will works.
    I know it's hard to diagnose without seeing the XL File. Well, still worth trying.

    In R3, we can run this report either from:
    1) SE38 or
    2) "Change Vendor: Initial Screen" (i.e. FK02) -> Environment-> Account Changes-> All Fields-> Environment-> Multiple Display.
    it shows all the updates dates & who changed the information, i wanted to use these info into my Program. but don't know what table its using to fetch update date & time and changed fields. LFA1 has only recent change.
    Can anyone have some idea  what table i can use for these change History.

    I have a CO report done with GRR2 transaction with EUR as currency.Iwould like to change it in USD currency.

    Check if below fields are active in your library:
    SWZG - Costs in Target Currency
    SWKG - Costs in reporting currency
    Target currency will be used by the system as the translation basis.
    Make sure, you have USD/EUR exchange rates are maintained in your system.
    So, change your report to include these key fields. As a result of using SWZG, the translation section will appear at the bottom of your selection screen.

  • Change currency in cost center report - possible?

    Hi all!
    I have a question regarding currency in cost center report (transaction s_alr_87013611).
    I have created one controlling area with currency SEK. I have allocated several company codes to this controlling area, for example Sweden, France,  Germany etc. I have also created different cost centers and allocated them to the company codes. All cost centers in ever company code have the same currency allocated as for the company code. For Germany currency EUR is allocated to the cost center, to the company code but SEK is allocated to controlling area.
    When I run cost center report reporting currency is SEK. Is there a possibility to change the settings in the report to view cost center currency instead?

    Yes, it's possible. Use RPC0 transaction to set the currency of the report to object currency.

    Can anybody tell me how I can change the currecy in report S_ALR_87012993 .
    Presently its showing me cost in USD.
    I want the same cost in INR . because in my PM orders the cost is in INR.

    You have report 'S_ALR_87012993 (6008-001).  For secoundary costs this report will always display in controlling
    area currency, no matter what reporting currency is set. This is an old report that was created when dependent reporting currency did not exist.
    But there is a solution to this issue. The solution quite simply is that by simply copying the reports and making one small change
    in the copied versions you can have a consistent view in both reports for the currency you want and it will work for all values.

  • Need SAP BW AR Aging Report with R/3 Aging Report Should Match

    Hello All,
    Could you please let me know SAP Delivered AR Aging Report on BW Side should match with SAP R/3 AR Aging Report for a given Customer.
    When I ran the report on BW Side I am able to match the report values with InfoProvider Values and also with RSA3 Extractor (0FI_AR_4).
    But when i tried to compare BW report with ECC Report values are not Matching at a given Customer Number.
    Please explain the best practice to match the values of BW Standard Aging report with ECC standard AR aging report.

    I am actually running the SAP Delivered Report in BW.
    So I didn't changed any thing in report.
    I m running the report in ECC using s_alr_87016128 tcode.
    Still I m getting the amount difference.
    I have checked at customer level with company code and Key date.
    Can i get inputs on these.

  • Changing a custom report to be time sensitive

    Hi
    I posted this in FI too thought the MM people might have some inputs as to how to correct the Zvenclass if we use the standard SAP field on the accounting view table LFB1 MINDK minority indicator
    We need to change the custom report zvenclass, it is a report that tells us the amount spent for each vendor in a specific class. I have the date/time sensistive information for the amount spent but not the change in vendor class from the vendor master. I need this to be date driven too. As in if a vendor is a small business in 2005 and you change the vendor to be a large vendor in 2011. Then I want the report for dates and values in 2008 to show small business and the dates and values in 2011 to show large business.
    The assignment is not time dependent, it has to be manually changed.
    I did see through the CDHDR and CDPOS tables, but could not pinpoint to the changes in the valuation classes.
    Is there any other way if I can find whether I can find the changes?
    Now I did review the values from the custom tables, here I find that there is a difference in the sum totals of the postings when I add up the individual years compared to the consolidated report (for ex: 200720082009 is not equal to 2007 to 2009) so am I right in assuming that the system does account for the changes. Any other help in this regard would be appreciated.

    MDM can track changes on tables and fields. <u>The level of change tracking, and which tables/fields to track, are configurable in the MDM Console</u>. MDM opens a new database on the same database engine as the MDM repository and writes all change records to this database.

    In standard SAP , there is no reports particularly for ammendment Po list.
    But individual PO u can see the chages happened in that PO's one by one.
    GO to ME23N , the go to environment, then header chages  here u can find the list of changes happened in PO.
    If u need the report , u can create custom report with help of technical consultant.

  • How to include balance level reporting currency in a ledger set.

    I was trying to use ledger set for consolidation purposes in GL to generate FSG report. I read on the following meta link that i can do so:

    To resume with a little progress made:
    I have a Section
    * with Access Level == Edit for Credential == Instructor@...${IDENTIFIER} with no Group Access Label, and also
    * with Access Level == Download for Credential == Student@...${IDENTIFIER} with Group Access Label == Student.
    I'm doing ws calls to add a Course including an identifier. This is successful, and I can then go into the iTunes client as Instructor@...${IDENTIFIER} (substitution made) and manually add Groups and change Access to each individually. (I'm adding Groups "Download", "Shared Uploads", and "Drop Box", changing the Access Level accordingly for Group Access Label "Student".
    But naturally I want to do the manual part programmatically, to save n instructors from having to learn how to do this same thing and then to do it.
    So I'm trying to change my ws call to add the Groups, including Permissions. Schema http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/xsd/iTunesURequest-1.1.xsd doesn't include Group Access Label for Permission. What does this mean?
    I've tried the actual Credential == Student@...${IDENTIFIER} (with IDENTIFIER substitution made before the call) and also Credential == Student (to see if I'm supposed to match the Group Access Label, instead).
    For either of these trials, the ws call successfully adds the Groups and a ShowTree includes the Permissions for the Groups. But in the iTunes client user interface, it's as if I gave no Permissions in adding the Groups.
    Am I approaching this wrong or is there a bug here?
    (I haven't tried yet a separate call to add the Group Permissions, not wanting to suffer the processing wait of getting handles for the three Groups.)

      I have been using program RFW1099M via Sapscript form to generate the 1099M. Based on note 1279366 on 2008 legal changes for 1099 reporting, sap provided the 1099MISC form in Smartforms.
    I don't use Smartforms.  Is there any sap 1099M program provided using Smartforms ?
    The sapscript form i currently have looks the same as the 2008 1099Misc.  So I don't know why i have to use Smartforms.   Pls let me know what you think ?

    Thank you for your reply in details. I appreciate your kind help. But the requirement of the user is different. She is telling that she wants a report of changes made (Including name of the person, Date time and what field) for all the Sales Documents starting from One period to another period and for a Particular Sales area.
    I tried to use your Transaction code  AUT10. I was not authorized in the production but I did in the Development but it does not have any choice of Sales Are. I am working in a Global Template. So, if I give any Transaction code it will take all the Sales Areas of all the countries. I want only one sales Area of only one Company code.
    Then, there is a SAP Menu but I never used it. Please guide me how I can get the reports as per the user's requirement as it becomes a serious problem.
    I can elaborate the situation: If we go to Environment and click the "change " it will show the detailed of the changes made by person and topics. This report is needed for all the documents for a particular Sales Area.
    Please help me.

  • Printer change in PLD reports

    We are on SAP B1 2005 PL50.
    We have designed reports in PLD. While previewing reports using a different printer (other then the one used while designing these reports), the layout of the report on the preview/printout changes. It shows a line space after every row and also some of the the data fields are not aligned as per the design. However, while previewing the layout with the original printer used while designing, the report layout remains unchanged. We have changed the default printer on the page setup in design mode but still no effect.
    Is there an another setting that we need to incorporate that does not destroy the layout of the report regardless of change in printer?

    Thanks Gordon.
    The print preview is same when we use two different printers. However, when we use a third printer, the preview changes. The page setup and the print preferences are same. What surprises is that it creates a line space after every line data. For example, for two text fields/rows, a line space is created in between them when we preview using that printer. It remains the same for the other two printers.

  • How to view changes to expense reports

    I am trying to find a way of viewing changes to an Expense Report.
    In PR05 there is a history but it does not provide details about the change. I have also looked at PRTE and cluster AEND but again this does not provide the details that our business users require.
    Does anyone know if there is any other way of viewing the detail of changes to an Expense Report?
    On a related issue we have found that in PR05 the approver name is showing as the workflow user rather than the user ID of the person who approved the trip in the Portal. Can this be changed to the actual approver ?

    I think T-code PRTE provides only screen level changes (i.e who , when creates, save or updates by whome)
    For detail level changes in expense reports you need to activate Define History and Archiving of Forms

    In this step, you can activate the following functions:
    History
    If you activate logging of history, the system logs the changes to travel requests and expense reports. Users can display the history in the following user interfaces:
    Personal object worklists (POWL) for travelers, assistents, and approving managers on the Web Dynpro ABAP-based user interface of Travel Management
    Transactions of the travel expense report in SAP GUI; for example, in the Travel Expense Manager (transaction PR05) or in the Travel Calendar (transaction PR02)
    If you do not activate logging of history, the system automatically logs the changes made to expense reports (as in earlier releases). Users can display the change history only in the transactions of the travel expense report in SAP GUI.
    Storage of Travel and Expense Forms in the Archive
    If you have activated logging of history, you also can define that the travel request forms and expense report forms are to be automatically archived when certain events occur. You can determine which of the following events triggers the archiving of a form:
    When processing of a changed travel request or expense report is handed over from the user who makes the change to another user
    When the status of the travel request or expense report changes
    When a user saves the travel request or expense report
    You can archive the Adobe PDF forms or HTML forms for travel requests and expense reports, but not the forms for travel plans. If you use an ABAP list form, the system first converts this form to an HTML form and then archives the HTML form.
    In the following activities you define which kinds of forms the system uses:
    For travel requests, see Define Enterprise-Wide Control Parameters and attribute HTMLFORM_R_P.
    For expense reports, see Travel Expenses Control (Expert View), Other Settlement, field 24.
