Reposition buttons in add/remove component?

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to reposition the buttons in an add/remove component?
If you want the add all and remove all buttons they are grouped with either add or remove. I need to know if you can move them so that you have Add and Remove, then Add All, Remove All??

Have you looked into just using setStyle() for a button on the page?
You can generate a string containing the position, visibility and other attributes of a component and then use setStyle() to set the attributes in the prerender phase.
Just set the style string as a session bean parameter and alter it where ever you need to.
I don't use add/remove components, but just standard components where I set the render and style properties accordingly to display and position them.

Jpanel add/remove component redraw problem

I have a JPanel using a GridLayout for a layout manager. The Jpanel has 2 components. When i remove one component ( using remove(Component comp) method) , and call updateUI on the JPanel, it removes the component but retains the original size. i.e It does not shrink to the size of the one component it has.
How can the required effect be achieved?

I have a JPanel using a GridLayout for a layout manager.Well you have a structure like:
parentPanel
    GridLayoutPanel
        component1
        component2Well it depends on the layout manager of the parent panel. If, for example the parentPane is using a BorderLayout, then the GridLayoutPanel will always be resized to the maximum space available and therefore the remaining component will also be resized.
So you could use a FlowLayout in the parentPanel and it will respect the size of the GridLayoutPanel. So you resulting code would be something like:
gridLayoutPanel.remove(...);
parentPanel.revalidatge();

Change button disabled in ESS add/remove dependents

We are on version 4.7D and have noticed that ESS transaction PZ12 does not consistently allow changes to existing records. I can change a spouse, but I cannot change a child or an emergency contact via ESS. I get the same results when accessing through R/3, but there are no messages as to what the problem is. I have tried removing the dependents from all benefits plans, then trying to change the data in PZ12, but that does not work. I have checked for any authorization errors, and none exist. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to correct this and enable the change button in all cases?
The dependent type 2 is set up with time constraint 3. I have checked table T591A_ESSEX and can see that the subtype is allowed to be maintained via ESS.

OK. There are two ways to do this:
1. Create a button facet in the Add remove component
2. Modify the theme.
For the first way here is a sampe:
1. drag a add removelist onto the designer
2. Edit the jsp to look like this:

Windows XP, removed bonjour in add/remove program. Now have an error message - APAgent.exe - Unable to Locate Component

Windows XP: removed bonjour by accident in the add/remove program. Now, everytime i log on, i get an error message that reads.
APAgent.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because dnssd.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Tried reloading my Airport Extreme CD, but no luck.
Googled this error & got nowhere. How can i get fix this annoying error message?

How to enable add/remove subject areas button

i just installed obiee11g on win7 32 bit version.
when i open new analysis (answers) i cant add columns and the button "add/remove subject areas button" is grey.
any idea?

I just had the same problem, was unable to add columns and build an analysis report. I installed OBIEE 11g on windows 7 64 bit, my browser is IE 9(both 32 & 64 bit were not allowing columns to add). When I ran analysis on google chorme, its working fine.

500 Internal Server Error when clicked on Add/Remove Button

When i Goto System Management -> Administration -> Mobile Infrastructure -> Device Maintenance -> here search for the device id or just click on the search -> scroll down to find 'Mobile Components' tab -> click on Add/Remove button

Which adobe to use, I was told to down load the newer version and the add/remove folder says I have 10.1.82.76, is tehis the one I need?

Custom master page branding is missing buttons to add Web Parts

I've created a custom master page which does not display the "add" or "cancel" buttons when adding web parts to the page. These elements are controlled by CSS tags such as: .ms-wpadder, .ms-wpadder-cell, .ms-wpadder-buttonArea, .ms-wpadder-zoneArea, #s4-ribbonrow
among others. I have attached a screenshot on my SkyDrive account

I think you use other style, because I apply your style on v4.master but this hide all ribbon
panels, anyway I think your issue related with
body #s4-ribboncont
padding-top: 150px;
Try to decrease or remove padding-top.

Well, normally the code would be:
panel.add( someComponent );
panel.revalidate();But since you are using the IDE to generate your code you need to learn and understand how to use the GroupLayout and all its constraints to add the component.
My advice is to get rid of the IDE generate code and create the GUI yourself.

TileList Add/Remove function problems for a flex beginner

I am starting up a new project for my university course which will allow users to drag and drop icons into their own area.
I wanted to use a TileList to provide the buttons for the users to select their area i.e. when a user clicks on a button in the TileList their area will be shown then they can drag items into it from another area that will always be shown (these items will later act as links to websites effectively making this application an interactive favourites menu but I'm nowhere near that point yet).
The thing is I also wanted the user's to have the ability to add a new user or remove a selected user by clicking buttons to either add a new user or click a button that will delete a selected user however after searching the internet for code and using it in my application it's a little but messed up.
The problem is I have created an array of 5 profiles (slots for each user) but I only want each slot to be added once whereas at the moment I can remove buttons easily using the remove item button when a user button is selected but if i add a few profiles then delete one and add another sometimes there will be 2 instances of the same button added. I only want ONE of each profile button from the array to be viewable in the application at any one time. It's hard for me to explain this so heres my full code for the applicattion. I'm sure it just needs slightly tweaking but if someone could edit it for me it would be greatly appreciated as I'm totally stuck:-

I've changed the code for the additem function to this but it only works to an extent now:-

It does only allow 1 of only the 5 profiles from the array to be added to the tilelist as I wanted but it appears that it is now impossible to add buttons anymore in certain situations.
For example if i run the application add all the profile buttons so all profile buttons are shown in the tile list and then remove profile buttons 2 3 and 4 and then click the add item button 3 times buttons 2 3 and 4 should be added however only 3 and 4 appear after profile 5 and 2 doesn't appear no matter how many times I click 'add item'.
What I want is for all 5 buttons from the array to be addable at any time but only one of each number should be shown. This may be to do with other code but I'm not sure.

Rendering of tab row and pages is totally messed up when I add/remove/scroll through tabs

After upgrading to 4b9 from 4b8, the rendering is totally messed up, whenever I add, remove or simply scroll through the tab row (if I'm calling it correctly). The tab row basically disappears and at least 5 seconds to come back, while lots of flashing and buggy behavior. During this time the rendering of the main page is also messed up.
After it finishes rendering, the main page could still be in a bad state. At which I have to switch tabs or scroll the main page, to force a re-draw of the main page, to get the rendering looking correct.
The only clue I have is that I have lots and lots of tabs open. And it looks like when I'm on the first few tabs it doesn't happen as badly.. This worked perfectly on 4b8.

I'm sorry to hear that you have so many issues. What version of Firefox were you using before?
The double title bar issue has been identified as an issue with the Tax Mix Plus extension but it doesn't affect everyone, it's an interaction with something else (not exactly clear what, although Norton Toolbar was mentioned in one thread).
There is a new version available that you could try. If Firefox is stable enough to do it...
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > "gear" icon > Check for Updates
If your beta version won't update, you could try installing [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/ from the add-ons site].
More generally, could I suggest disabling as many extensions as you can live without for 24 hours, and re-enable them gradually? This should help isolate interactions between them. As you know, you can do that here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Finally, regarding your old session, if you haven't closed Firefox, you might find a sessionstore.bak file in your profile folder that contains your old session. To easily access that folder, try
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Grab a copy of that file and save it somewhere outside the folder because it is overwritten when you close Firefox. Got to run, but if you find one with an appropriate date, someone can help you restore it.

MSN hijacks my firefox home page, no matter how many times I reset to Firefox Google. I do not have any MSN extension in my add ons, nor a BING file in my control panel add/ remove section. So how to get rid of it

I have tried the forum suggestions for re-setting my home page, how to disable add-on extensions, and how to to remove from any MSN / BING from my add/ remove in the control panel, but it persisits.
I do have IE 8 also , but only use it on websites that only function with IE, but my home page on IE is of my choice (GOOGLE) and does not reset to MSN. So whatever the problem is, it does not affect IE only Firefox

Seems that may have worked and that's great, thank you. But now I have another problem which seems to be as persistent as the search bar has been.
Now when I edit the bar and position of the buttons some of those buttons disappear when I click Ok in the customization, but reappear when I reopen the customization settings.
Why is that? When I put a space in between some of the buttons the buttons near the space will disappear and leave a blank space where it should be.
I'm beginning to be rather annoyed with this Firefox Beta to say the least and am considering returning to the version before it. Whatever I do now as far as customizing is concerned of the toolbar is reset every time I reopen Firefox. The buttons are no longer where I had set them up, the address bar is stretched to it's maximum, the Menu Bar is back the far left edge, buttons are missing that I had put there, and buttons I had removed are returned.
:| I know it may seem insignificant to some people but it annoys the crap out of me. I understand this is a beta and if there is no solution then I perhaps will use the earlier version for a while.

I cannot uninstall Firefox, either through Control Panel Add/Remove or by running helper.exe from Program Files.

Nothing happens when I click on REMOVE for Mozilla Firefox from the Add/Remove screen of Control Panel. I then tried to run helper.exe from the Mozilla Firefox folder in Program Files, but that wouldn't run either. Any suggestions?
