Representing a number as an exponential in AS2

How can I show an output like for eg.: 0.00003 as 3E-5 OR
3000 as 3E3 ?? in ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0!!!!
If there is no straight forward way to do it..then can some
one post a function which can do it?

I excel download when i download 000000003000001336 this as a number, this gets downloaded as 3000001336, but when i download 000003000001336001, it gets downloaded as 3E+12

It looks like the default width for number columns on your system is 9.
Are you using SQL*Plus?
If so, you can change the default to 10 (or more) for your session:
SET NUMWIDTH 10or you can specifically format that column:
COLUMN phone_no 9999999999

AS2- How to display Idoc number in ACK MDN

I have an requirement where I have to send the Idoc number in MDN which is sent as an acknowledgement after AS2 system has received an INVOIC Idoc .
Scenario is like below:
Part I: R/3(Invoic idoc)>PI>(Idoc xml)AS2
R/3 system will send an Idoc to PI. PI will do the mapping and sent to AS2 system with the Idoc number in AS2 subject. This is done by an udf. Part I is working fine.
Part II: AS2(MDN)>PI>R/3(ALEAUD Idoc)
After receiving the idoc xml, AS2 system will send an MDN. This MDN does not contain idoc # which has been processed successfully in the part I. PI is receiving the MDN message like below

Page number, in a table, in footer

Hello,
I'm having an issue which I think might be a legitimate bug. Here's the probem:
• I'm adding the dynamic "page number", into a table, that resides within the footer.
• When the page number reaches double digits (10, 11, etc), the number displays as two digits, but the spacing is being treated like a single character.
So, when you hit "10" the zero overlaps any text that comes after the number. You can add extra spaces to make up for this issue, but then the previous, single digit, pages are all messed up. They have way to much spacing now.
I've tried everything I can think of and still can't get around this issue. Starting a brand new document, removing all formatting, etc. I'm hoping someone has run across this before and knows of a solution, or maybe an update to fix this in Pages (Fingers crossed..haha).
Any help or comments is appreciated.

I've saved a screen shot of my existing working document as well as a brand new blank document to show that it's not my styles that's causing the issue. You will notice that the "10" page number is overlapping the text that follows it. When you highlight the "10" only the "1" get's highlighted, which makes me think it's representing that number incorrectly as a single digit.

Why is the number of photos in the Photos app different than the number of photos in iPhoto on the Mac?

I have an iPhone 4S and a MacBook Air. On the MacBook Air, in iPhoto, the number of photos is 3,563 (this is the number that appears next to the word Photos under library in the left hand pane). When I synch my phone with iTunes, I've selected Synch Photos from iPhoto and the number that follows that line is 3,546 photos. I have checked All Photos, albums, Events, and Faces.
On my iPhone under Settings, General, About, there are 4,293 Photos shown (the Camera Roll is empty).
I don't understand why these three numbers are not identical. Anyone know?

I want to replace my (html) table with a JSF representation..
I found the tag <h:dataTable>, and this defines <h:column> but there is no <h:row> !!
There is an attribute rows to represent the number of rows to display, but how can I add these rows ?

Just a minor correction on an obvious math/responding too fast error: 1.1287E+11 is a 12 digit number. You move the decimal 11 positions to the right which would add 7 zeroes to the value.

if I had 5 objects:

And my time interval should be 10 seconds...then I would have
to columns one representing 3:00:00 - 3:00:09 and one representing
3:00:10 - 3:00:19. The first column would have a y-value of 2 and
the second column would have a y-value of 3.
Any suggestions on how to do this? Should I maintain a
Dictionary that maps a time to a count? and bind my chart to that
Dictionary?

Adding logic based on page number

Hi,
in my invoice report, i need to add some logic based on page number. My objective is to print a group of 4 lines (OMR Marks) on right hand side of the page. For example, on first page, print 1st line only, on second page, print 2nd line only, on third page, print 1st and 2nd lines only, on 15th page, print all four lines, on 16th page, print lines similar to 1st page i.e. print 1st line only, on 17th pages, print lines similar to 2nd page i.e. print 2nd line only.
Is there any way to use page number or some other variable that can represent page number in an IF condition? Your help is highly appreciated.

I have to print OMR mark a per the logic given below
1. Divide the page number by 15
2. Based on remainder value, print 4 horizontal lines. For example,
if remainder is 1 then print only line 1,
if remainder is 2 then print only line 2.
if remainder is 3 then print line 1 and line 2.
If remainder is 4 then print only line 3,
if remainder is 5 then print line 1 and line 3
if remainder is 6 then print line 2 and line 3
if remainder is 7 then print line 1, 2, 3
if remainder is 8 then print only line 4 and so on
if remainder is 0 then print all lines i.e. line 1,2,3 and 4.
Could you please tell me how I could achieve this? If you have some code that you could share, it would be great.
OR is there some other way to achieve this?

I am converting from decimal to binary and I am trying to get the number of bits in this binary number which is called "Resulting Binary Numer" output in the VI ... How can I get it ?

The #Bits control SETS the minimum number of characters in the string. The string will contain as many more characters as required to represent the number.
It sounds as though you are trying to determine the length of the minimum string which will display a binary representation of your number.
If you use a %b format string and check the length of the output string it will tell you the number of characters in the binary string. You can also format the numeric control or indicator to display in binary, provided the representation is one of the integer data types.
With your decimal input set to I32 you need to be careful with negative numbers. They all have the same length = 32.

Number format, eg CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ

I hope this forum will be the correct one ...
I want to get a Bill Of Materials from a remote system, for this I use the Function "CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ" with an RFC-destination. This works correct, except that the numbers are returned in a different way.
In the system I'm using a decimal number is normally given with a comma as separator for the decimal part ; so numbers come in the format 1,000 for representing the number 1.
This format is also used in the function, but when the BOM is read with a RFC-Destination, the decimal separator is a point.
Is there a way to change a setting that it uses the comma as well ?
(The system where the BOM is coming from uses the comma as well, so it isn't the basic setting of the remote system which causes this)

Solved by correcting the user parameters for this ...
The RFC-user didn't use the comma ... now he (she? it?) does...

Number Formatting Problem

Below is the output from my JavaBean. I typed in 5.1 for the audio TextField in my user interface and I got a resulting audio value of 0.0 which happens everytime.
Should I be using a double or a float to represent a number with a decimal point?
