I really need a spelling checking and automated hyphenation in TLF components. I hope that squiggly will have these features on the to-do list. I have a number of projects that need these features. Are these important to enough to make them high on the priority list?

Has anyone tried to create multiple servers so that a development team can share
the resources of a domain with WLI 2.1? If so, how did it work. I have done this
with WLS but would like to try it with WLI.
I tried to create multiple servers, but, had difficulty as there seems to many
resources that are tied to the server name and default port. Also, I tried to
change the port and that caused alot of problems on the myserver.

I was not looking for something which is scaling out Hyperion Planning(via load balancer)/Horizontal clustering.
But was looking for some thing like Vertical clustering(multiple JVMs/nodes of Hyperion Planning within a single planning server) which was applicable in 11.1.1.3.
Came to know that with 11.1.2.2 vertical clustering not more supported.

My name is Ruban and I have joined as a software development engineer in an IT industry. It mostly uses Java for developing. They gave me a task to get the file list under a folder. For example, we need to get the files list from the folder ..\ruban\test.

Transport request for development class

Hello folks,
I have a development class (AKA package) containing e.g. one program, one message class and one function group. The function group contains one function module (as well as its associated includes).
I'd like to write a transport request with all the objects of this development class, because I'd like to easily import all the development class' functionality in another system. I mean, in this specific situation I'd include the function module itself as well as the function group.
Unfortunately, when I select the write transport request entry from the development class' context menu (transaction SE80, object navigator), and I specify that I want to transport all the objects in the development class (and not just the development class itself), it doesn't work as I'd like. Just the program, the function group and the message class are written in the request. The function module is not included.
Is there a way to automatically perform sort of a recursive selection, so I can write in a request all the objects associated (at whatever level) with a development class?

I'm not sure about your suggestions.
When I initially write all the development cass' objects in a request, the function group is written in that. Are all the objects of the function group written in that request, as well?
The thing is that when I manually write the function module in that request, the function module is consequently shown in the transport organizer. Therefore I suspect that the function module (i.e. the include <FUN_GRP_NAME>U01) has not been automatically written at the beginning.
So basically my question is:
When I write a function group to a request, is the include <FUN_GRP_NAME>UXX written to that? And is the include <FUN_GRP_NAME>U01 (and all the others) also included?

right now there really is no way to solve what you are looking for. There partial solutions, but you will not be able to force a page break in a dynamic report.
Here is what I have faced, and what I have come up with so far:
I have a series of reports that have the same column heading, but spread over 5 pages in a fixed structure. I need to be able to re-use the header and the general report design with 6 reports. Here is my solution:
1. Create an outline of the report. I did all the formatting by creating a report section for each page. You can force page breaks between the pages. Upgrade to patch 1502 (came out last week) and you will see some new functionality (such as fit to page, page numbers, etc).
2. Insert all you page breaks and do all the formatting.
3. Insert an infoprovider. Once in, you can just drag and drop the key figure cells into your formatted report.
4. Create additional modification for formatting as needed.
This fixes my problem (for now), but I had to do a lot of work to come up with this. Also, the latest patch (1501 and 1502) has created an issue for me - there is a null exception when I try to use a variable or a filter value in the report body - I can't save the report. I have an OSS message out, but our BASIS guys are going to be taking the lead on troubleshooting this.
The reason that you are seeing some customers on the new pages is probably because of "how the cookie falls" - they just fit that way.
I am trying to be positive and overcome the limitations that are in place right now. If my technical issue is solved, I would recommend upgrading to the new patch (1403 is the latest stable one in my opinion)

UK web development agency needs to outsource (find a
company/freelancer) to build an Adobe Air application based on an
online web application we have already developed.
We have developed an online application for a client that
allows them to select a range of products from their own range and
those of their competitors. Once a selection of upto 5 products
have been selected a list of criteria can be used (upto 5) in order
to provide a comparison.
The client would like a desktop application for their mobile
workforce that can sync (look for updates and download an xml file)
with any updates.
The AIR application might want to work a little like iTUNES
with a cover-flow feel and method to select manufacturers >
products > and a simple (cool) way to compare products.
We use Mysql and Jboss as the core tools for the online
application, with the cover flow delivered via Flash. The output
can be delivered in XML format.
We are already sold on AIR being the answer and can provide
access to the online website and a detailed spec. so at this stage
we are looking to make contact with people who have already
completed an AIR project (or two).

Need to change the local change request to development class for Process Ch

Hi
1.First delete the request which you collected the process chain as local object becuase you will not able to collect the process chian again.
2. Goto Tranport connector to collect the process chain again.
3. Select grouping option as necessary objects.
4. Drag and drop the process chain to the right hand side
5. After collecting the process chain, click on the package icon and give the package created for development class.
6. The system will ask for Transport request and save the PC in the Transport Request.

Hi,
There is no version management for SapScript or Smartforms .
When you write "transport request in development which is not moved to quality" - was the transport ever released and exported from the development system? If yes, and if the "Transport files" are still available in "Transport directory" (or if the transport files were backed up and could be retrieved), the transport could be imported again. If the TR was not exported, you are out of luck, I believe...
I would not recommend you do it on your own even if you happen to have enough authorizations (consult with Basis and/or Transport Admin, if you have one in your organization). I would not recommend that it's imported on a development system or QA system, even if the transport contains no other objects - only the SapScript form in question. Import it on a "sand-box" that gets overwritten by system copy from time to time... Once the transport is imported, you should have the old version of SapScript in that system and could analyse the changes and perform manual merge.

Please create a list of bug fixes for the Development Team to address in the next version of Bootcamp (e.g., 3.2). This thread assumes that all users are presently running Bootcamp 3.1:
1. Sound should not be muted every time a user reboots a newer MacBook laptop using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. My sound is always muted when I load Windows 7 Ultimate, and I have to manually turn it on each time.
2. Left and right clicks on the trackpad should work out of the box using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. My left click operates a little less than 50 percent of the time -- i.e., I click it and nothing happens. I had to switch to "tap to click" as a workaround, however, I prefer the good old solid left click.
Please step right up and add to the bug report list so that the developers have a checklist of issues that need to be fixed. When the bug report list has grown to a respectable size, I'll send an official letter to the C.E.O. to facilitate the bug reports reaching the development team.

FWIW, I don't have the symptoms you describe. So I think before you call a symptom a "bug" I think you should confirm that it is indeed a "bug" and not a configuration, software, or hardware issue caused by something such as incorrect installation, incorrect setup, or any other third party or user caused action.
Also, FWIW, I don't think this forum is intended to be used as a survey for gathering "bugs". Apple has an official feedback page where they gather user experiences such as yours. I think if you post your "bugs" there they will get faster attention than posting them here in this user-to-user help forum.

Hitachi & Cytale are launching a project with the INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies), to equip their enquirers with a mobile platform (the Cybook Pro), to update national databases on a daily basis (e.g. the French Consumer Price Index).
The INSEE considers integrating Oracle 9i Lite solution into their software architecture.
Before moving developments any further, we need to know:
- whether you are willing to compile Oracle 9i Lite for our platform;
- if so, when the release can be expected for tests and development.
Notes:
- The Cybook Pro runs Windows 3.0 on a PowerPC 821 (PPC821).
- The ODBC module of Oracle 9i Lite will be used.
- If needed, we can provide you with a PPC821 SDK.
- We (Cytale & INSEE) are willing to help if tests need be done.
- The INSEE will have their choices finalized by the end of May, feasibility and development tests must be fully completed before that date.

This is caused by a bug in Oracle's ODBC API for Windows CE in
the dbaccess.cpp header file. It can be fixed by doing the
following;
at (or about) line 155;
Inside For Loop, before
'if(::SQLGetData' statement.
memset(&g_szBuff, 0, sizeof(g_szBuff));
This will reset the memory for the data column after it has been
read.
Oracle would have to implement this fix and then recompile mSQL
in order for mSQL to display NULL values correctly.

may be the best way to handle the "collateral" as it can retain the same (easily understood title) whilst being extendable to cover virtually anything.

Unfortunately some records are in LOWER CASE.
So i got a error in BW side when loading data from R/3 to BW.

From Java side, I am able to carry the value with L&T spaces till the call goes to Flex .mxml and here response object assigning as var metaConfig:XML = event.result as XML; But here L&T spaces are not visible along with value of ID. I used to see it by using Alert.show(event.result.toString()); Flex Output is as: <allScalarMetadataFields> <id>TEST</id> <name>test name</name> . But from java[in Servlet/in service] side I can see the output as: <allScalarMetadataFields> <id> TEST </id> <name> test name </name> .
