  • Transport request for table maintainence

    Hi
I created table maintenance for a ZTABLE but it didn't ask me any transport request. So i created the entries for the table maintenance manually ( R3TR TOBJ ZEREC     S ) in my transport request. Now I am afraid will it give me any error during transportation to quality client.
What do I need to do in order the system to prompt transport request.
Kindly suggest me in transporting the table maintenance.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi
    Welcome to SDN forum
While creating the Table Maintenance itself it will promt for the Transport request
while entering data it won't ask for transport request.
You can check in the transport request task whether the table Maintenance is created or not under that request in SE09 or SE10. check the functiongroup which you have added to this TMG while creating. In the request you can see that.
Or you can add the table entries under the request using SE03
object Directory-> change Object directory entries
there should be an entry in the request like
    R3TR - TABU - < table name>
then if you transport the entries will be transported.

  • Process on value request for table control

    I have 10 rows in a table control,when a F4 for
a particular column in a row is called, process on value request is called here i call a customized F4 based on the structure mapped to the row,but unfortunaletly unlike the screen the mapped structure is not populated,so is
there a way of getting the structure mapped to the row.

    Hi Kaushik
As I guess solution would be reading the row into the structure which the F4 screen uses.
    <u><b>e.g.</b></u>
    GET CURSOR LINE lv_linno .
    lv_linno = lv_linno + <table_control_name>-top_line - 1 .
    READ TABLE <itab> INTO <screen_structure> INDEX lv_linno.
If this is not the case, then posting your POV coding will be better to analyze your code.

  • Transport request for table changes is asked only for first row changed

    Hello,
We have created a maintenance dialog connected to a custom table.
In the Table Maintenance Diagog, the <i>Dialog Data Transport Details</i> is set to <i>Standard Recording Routine</i>.
In the "Maintenance Objects" screen, the transport is set to "Automatic transport".
    Two questions:
    1. Now can I only change the table's entry through SM30? I do not see the "pencil" icon in SM11 or SM16 anymore. Is there a way to change the table's rows in both ways?
    2. When I change a row in my table through SM30, the system only asks for the CR number the FIRST time that I savea changed row. When I change other rows and save them, it does not ask for any CR that I want to use for transport. Does it mean that the system automatically knows where to put the transported rows? or that the configuration is wrong and the other changed rows will not be taken into consideration? What if I want to change the CR for only some of the changed rows?
Thank you very much every expert here

    HI,
The table should be Customizeed table, i mean in the Attributes of the tabl eput it as C,
    1) We can change/Insert the records from SM30, we can not ahve the pencil icon in SE11 or SM16
    2) If you put the table type C, then for every entry it should ask the CR, if not then it is moving to the same request automatically

    Hi,
You can transport table entries from one system to other system. Take a look at this thread.

    Re: Table DATA transfer
First, you need to set the table attributes - DELIVERY CLASS to C.

  • Request for sample code, Validating XML Schema

Does anyone have some sample code to validate
an XML Schema with the Oracle parser?
Also, the classgen code seems to have more XML Schema classes in it. There is an xschema.jar full of XML Schema related code. Would it be possible to use this code?
I've tried DOMSample.java with the v2 parser. It seems to happily echo Schema based XML files that are obviously wrong. (I use Tibco's XML Authority to verify the XML file and XML Schema).

I do not have sample code but it is not a difficult API to call. I have worked on it before, so if you have a specific question on it, happy to help out if I can.

  • Content Location request for PACKAGE failed (Code 0x80040102) - How to determine list of DP's returned from the MP

    Hi there
So, existing SCCM 2012 environment, OSD functioning at other sites, been in use for a while.
New location, new DP.  PXE boot system, choose the task sequence, and I get the error that the package is not found.
Look at the SMSTS.log and sure enough I see the 0x80040102 error.
    I have :
Removed the offending package and redistributed it.  Verified it is present on the server.
Verified the boundary has the server as a site system.
Verified the boundaries have the correct IP range, and the correct Site.
I have tried it with just a Site boundary and just a IP Range boundary.
Created a copy of my TS, removed the offending package, deployed.  Same error, just with a different package ID (which tells me that it isn't the package, it is something on the server DP itself).
Rebooted both the Site server and the DP.
I'm kind of at a loss, as I would expect to see the DP show up in the below log as a DP, but I don't see it.  It looks like it gets policy, and it shows under the content location request Local: 1 (which I believe says it sees 1 local content location),
but further below in the log it says Processing 0 Locations.
    Very confused.
    Thanks for any help...

It was not just driver packages, it was whatever package was next in line in the Task Sequence.
The issue got even more strange...I added a DP from my central location to the boundary group of the site that was failing.
Now it pulls from the local DP.
If I remove the DP from my central location (that is not local to the failing site), then it stops working again.

  • Sample Code in BADI for Open Hub Services

    Hi all,
We have a requirement to extend(add few new fields and  populate them using BADI) for the target structure of Infospoke in Open hub services.
I have 2 issues which are stopping us to proceed further.
           1.   I did this by just adding new fields in this change mode of target Structure (didn't used 'Append structure' as while saving and creating T.port request, its popping error like 'Structure not present in TRDIR).I am not able to assign this to any T.request,as of now I have saved it as Local object. How can I assign this to an request?is it possible?.
           2. After putting breakpoint in the BADI I don't see any data in the Importing table.I need some sample code in the BADI which should populate the New fields in the target structure.
It will be great if anyone of you will give us any solution for the same.
    Thanks,
    Rahul.
Edited by: Rahul Siddi on Oct 12, 2009 3:04 PM

    Hello Rahul,
Find the code below with the steps to be implemented.
Enter your infospoke in the edit mode.
    - On the Transformation tab set the indicator for the Infospoke with Transformation with BADI so that the infospoke is activated.
    - This will take you to the Addin implementation/BADI builder.
    - Enter the short text/description for the implementation. The implementation name is always the same as the technical name of the infospoke
    - The implementation of the BADI is always filter dependant.
    - In the properties tab of the infospoke enter your infospoke under the Filter specifications.
If you do not specify an InfoSpoke under Filter Specifications, then this implementation is valid for all InfoSpokes. This means that this is called up for all InfoSpokes during the extraction.
    - Activate your class
    - From your interface tab page, double click on the Transofrm Method and you will arrive in the class builder page
    - Here you can enter the code
    - To do a look up of the master data you have to write a code similar to the one I've given below. This is just an example for looking up material master.
    IF FLT_VAL = 'Your infospoke'.
    T_DATA_IN] = I_T_DATA_IN[.
    Select zstd_cost from /bi0/pmaterial into table T_return
    For all entries in T_DATA_IN
    WHERE material = T_DATA_IN-material.
    ...Continue with your code.
Append output from T_return to your output E_T_DATA_OUT
    - Activate your method. Return to the BAdI builder. Return to your InfoSpoke.
Check if you missed any of these...
    Kris...
