Transport request for table changes is asked only for first row changed

Hello,
We have created a maintenance dialog connected to a custom table.
In the Table Maintenance Diagog, the <i>Dialog Data Transport Details</i> is set to <i>Standard Recording Routine</i>.
In the "Maintenance Objects" screen, the transport is set to "Automatic transport".
Two questions:
1. Now can I only change the table's entry through SM30? I do not see the "pencil" icon in SM11 or SM16 anymore. Is there a way to change the table's rows in both ways?
2. When I change a row in my table through SM30, the system only asks for the CR number the FIRST time that I savea changed row. When I change other rows and save them, it does not ask for any CR that I want to use for transport. Does it mean that the system automatically knows where to put the transported rows? or that the configuration is wrong and the other changed rows will not be taken into consideration? What if I want to change the CR for only some of the changed rows?

The table should be Customizeed table, i mean in the Attributes of the tabl eput it as C,
1) We can change/Insert the records from SM30, we can not ahve the pencil icon in SE11 or SM16
2) If you put the table type C, then for every entry it should ask the CR, if not then it is moving to the same request automatically

64-bit driver only returns first row of table

I have a C++ application using ADO (the MSADO COM components) and the Oracle OLEDB provider for database access. The application works fine on a 32-bit computer using the 32-bit Oracle client and driver. However, when I run a 64-bit build of the application, running on a 64-bit computer (Windows Server 2008 x64), using the 64-bit Oracle client and driver, a SELECT operation returns only the first row of the table.
Note that this is only happening with the ActiveX ADO components. ADO.NET is not having a problem.
In both cases I am connecting to the same database, which is Oracle 10.2 (32-bit) running on a different server. I have tested with Oracle client 10.2.0.4 and 11.1.0.7 and got the same result in both cases.
I have reproduced the issue with a simple table (one column, NVARCHAR2(255)) and simple code.
In the code, I execute "select count(*) from tablename" and get the correct record count (more than one record). But when I then open the recordset ("select columnname from tablename"), ADO reports EndOfFile after I have read the first row and called MoveNext on the recordset.
My Oracle knowledge is limited so I don't know if there are driver properties I should be checking.
Anyone have ideas?

For 11.1 it's fixed in 11107 Patch 12 and higher.

Possible to make an item editable for certain users and read only for other

Is it possible to make an item editable for certain users and read only for others?
I've been able to accomplish this by taken the select statement that I used to define an authorization scheme, placing it in the Read Only condition of the item. However, I would like to simply reference the authorization scheme to utilize caching, and to help keep things cleaner for future maintenance.
Is it possible to reference an authorization scheme in an item condition similar to the way another item can be referenced by preceding it with a colon (i.e. :P1_First_Name)?

It would be nice on a future release of APEX if a drop-down box existed under the Ready Only section that would allow an existing Authorization Scheme to be selected or negated when applying the Read Only attribute to a form item.

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system.When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities.When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column two drives plus possibly a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. You also mention that you are able to locate the serial number for Photoshop. Did that come as a part of the suite or did you purchase Photoshop as a standalone application?

Asking for transport request while table data updation

Hi There,
It is asking for the transport request for each new entry in the table since the Delivery class in the attributes is set to C( Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import ), If it is set to "A" it will not ask for the transport request..
Try creating a custom table and play around with the Delivery class, A and C, you will come to know the difference.

Hi Gourav,
If you go table maintanance generater of the table TCJ04 in SE11, you will find that Standard recording routine radio button is selected. That is the reason you are asked to provide transport request while updating data.

Shekhar has given you the right answer. With the standard recording routine switched on you will be prompted everytime you save changes via SM30.
Have you re-generated the maintenance dialog since setting this flag?
Or, perhaps the client you are testing in does not have the automatic recording switched on (check in transaction SCC4, should have the setting Automatic recording of changes for your client).

Lion administrator setting changed to read only for file sharing. Now hung machine

I was trying to network my Mac with a WIndows 7 machine and tried to have my name in the file sharing read write instead of other users such as administrator when I changed the administrator to read only for file sharing rights and could not add my name as a file sharing user with read write permissions Really silly move
I have performed a repair of disk permissions however still hung.
Whats worse is that my time machine for the last three days has been disconnecting when backing up leaving a partially complete backup. Backup failed. I also left a apple support community message a few days ago to solve it.

This same problem happened to me, all the sudden one day my mac decided to revert to the original standard root username and password which I obviously did not know. In order to change this:
1) Activate single user mode on reboot as by pressing cmd + s as your computer starts up. Make sure you do it right away, and keep the keys pressed down.
2) Where the cursor pops up, type exactly
+/sbin/mount - uw/+
3) When the next cursor pops up type exactly
passwd
4) Then you can type any password you want (now changing the root password to be what you want)
Note you will not be able to see what you type, but the text is being recognized
5)The computer asks for you to retype the password, retype it
6) Type reboot
Once the computer restarts you can navigate to system preferences>accounts> and then unlock the account (lock is located on the bottom left corner) using Username: root and the password you just set. Henceforth, you can appoint your account as the administrator. Hope it works!

ECM change no mandatory only for specified Plants in CA01 and CA02

Dear All,
I am in the process of activating the engineering change management for BOM and Routing.
I did the necessary setting to work ECM.
Now my problem is we have different plants and the ECM has to be activated only for 2 plants.
To make change number mandatory in CA01 and CA02 for these 2 plants. i followed the below steps.
IN T CODE OP5A- PP TASK LIST INITIAL SCREEN - CHANGE NUMBER - CHOOSE RADIO BUTTON INPUT - SELECT INFLUENCING -SELECT PLANT -CHANGE NUMBER - ENTER PLANT - CHOOSE RADIO BUTTON REQUIRED
Same like that I did for both plants. Even after this setting it is not allowing without change number.
Can any one help me to solve this issue.?

The change number requirements on CS02 is controlled by the authorization object C_STUE_ROH.
Note 420878 provides more information about this scenario.

Master Page updated , but changes are visible only for that Page(site) alone ?

I updated v4.master in SharePoint designer to add a bread crum navigation control

Am i going wrong some where (My site collection has about 30-35 sites, and new sites are created every now and then )

If the publishing features are turned on then the master pages for all the sites in the site collection are pulled from the master page gallery of the root site. But if Publishing hasn't been enabled then each site uses the v4.master in its own master
page gallery. It sounds like you haven't enabled the Publishing Infrastructure site collection feature and Publishing Site Feature in the root site of your site collection.

af:table, only the first row of the table is effect

Hi experts,
I have an issue about using the <af:table, needs your help:
1.The default selected line is the first line of the table(This should be ok).
2.Only the first line can react to my manipulate, such as select one line and click delete button.
3.While choosing the other line-->click the command button, the page will be refreshed and the selected one will turned to the first line. (Now the selected row, will be the first row). And will do nothing ,and has no action with the command button.

UPDATE of column in parent only UPDATEs first row in DENORMALIZED child table

In the Repositiry in Designer 6i, I denormalized DESC1 column to
pull the value of DESC1 in the parent table. The child table has
four (4) records with matching foreign keys. When I go into my
Form and update DESC1 in the parent, only the first of the four
child DESC1's are updated. Any ideas?

Get only the first row for duplicate data

Hello,
I have the following situation...
I have a table called employees with column (re, name, function) where "re" is the primary key.
I have to import data inside this table using an xml file, the problem is that some employees can be repeated inside this xml, that means, I'll have repeated "re"'s, and this columns is primary key of my table.
To workaround, I've created a table called employees_tmp that has the same structed as employees, but without the constraint of primary key, on this way I can import the xml data inside the table employees_tmp.
What I need now is copy the data from employees_tmp to employess, but for the cases where "re" is repeated, I just want to copy the first row found.
Just an example:
EMPLOYEES_TMP
RE NAME FUNCTION
0987 GABRIEL ANALYST
0987 GABRIEL MANAGER
0978 RANIERI ANALYST
0875 RICHARD VICE-PRESIDENT
I want to copy the data to make employees looks like
