Request more info directly from my webpage by send thru email

I am building a realtor site display data by asp, would like
to put a feature where visitor can click on a link and a pop-up
window with form where visitor can enter their contact info to
request more info about a porperty.............
I tried to creat a form page, with link and target to
_blank.: it won't work properly in "firefox2.0" instead of pop-up
it goes to next new tab.
I tried to add behavior with open browser window: it doesn't
work properly neither........
anyone have the solutions please..........

if you want it in a popup window, the steps below should
work.
1)change the form tags to add a target:

2)add a behavior to the submit button
Select the submit button, and add Open Browser Window

Set the window's parameters/chrome as wanted.

server_side_script.whatever as the source, that would load

without sending any data and nothing
would be processed. The form results will fill this window in
a second, but
for now have to put a page into it or it could cause a
problem. So we stick
a dummy page we name fillerpage.html in it till the script
returns it's
results.}
3)create and upload the empty fillerpage.html
you can put any "wait a sec" message and graphic into it.
It will show for the fraction of a second between the new
window popping
open------- and the script returning the processed info page.
So-- when the submit button is pressed--
1)the data is submitted to the script for processing
2)a new popup is created named "thenewwindowname" 100x100
with
fillerpage.html in it.
3)the script returns it's results to the popup window
4)if the user has javascript disabled, the form results will
open in a new
window because of setting a target.

  • 'More Info' disappears from 'Get Info' Inspector Tab when accessed more than once

    I've just got back from an appointment at my local Apple store Genius Bar and have had three members of staff all looking bewildered and unsure as to what to suggest with regard to this issue (apart from a fresh OS install/HD reformat). Basically, it seems that after initially using the Inspector to gather metadata about files - mp3, m4a, MOV, avi etc the 'More Info' section becomes blank, as if there is no metadata to display, even though metadata is definitely present (see attached pictures and linked video):

    As you can see, in the second instance, all mention of metadata is gone. Am somewhat perplexed as to why this is happening. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

    Ok, so this issue has resolved all by itself. Perhaps an update has rectified whatever the problem was, who knows. Anyway, job done tick lol

  • ITunes 10.7 Update returns error (-1003) & remains in App Store despite updating iTunes directly from iTunes webpage several times & currently running latest version 11.0.5 (5)

    I have experienced this problem since purchasing a brand new MacBook in October 2012, basically the App Store permanently displays "1 Update Available" for iTunes 10.7 but clicking the "Update" button only results in the following error "A server with the specified hostname could not be found.(-1003)" so I have always had to go around the App Store & download & install iTunes updates directly from the iTunes webpage.  I am currently running the latest version of iTunes 11.0.5 (5) & what I believe is the latest version of OS X 10.8.4 (12E55) & I simply wish to stop the App Store displaying this update that doesn't work anyway & relates to a year old version of iTunes!!! 
    Note: It may or may not be of importance but the same problem was also happening for iPhoto & iMovie but I was able to locate fixes for these issues which entailed changing a filename in both applications' "Contents" folders from "_MASReceipt" to "_MASReceipt_FAULTY" (although I believe I could have renamed it anything!)  I obviously tried a similar thing for iTunes & App Store separately but unlike iMovie & iPhoto which were fixed immediately the recommended changes were made, these modifications did not resolve the issue which persists to this day & isn't critical but is just annoying!!!

    Search for "iTunes" in Spotlight and make sure you don't have an outdated copy lying around, perhaps on a backup volume.

    We used Mobile Me for our default email.  So if you answered an ad from a site or tried to send a photo directly from iphoto, it would use the mobile me account. Now that its gone, can I set a different address as my default?

    WEll, MobileMe has been moved & still works in iCloud.
    Did you setrup an iCloud account?
    Do not delete the old account yet. sign up for an iCloud account if you haven't.
    MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT - DO NOT TRY TO ALTER YOUR EXISTING ACCOUNT.
    I understand .mac mail will still come through. Do not delete the old account yet.
    You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
    iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
    On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
    IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
    • Server name: imap.mail.me.com
    • SSL Required: Yes
    • Port: 993
    • Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
    • Password: Your iCloud password
    SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
    • Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
    • SSL Required: Yes
    • Port: 587
    • SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
    • Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
    • Password: Your iCloud password
    Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria:  8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers.  If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message.  Go to   http://appleid.apple.com         then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.

  • I can't email from a webpage using yahoomail, my email provider

    If I am on a webpage and want to email it to someone, when I click on file to send a link, the Yahoo sign in page comes up instead of an email form. This happened after Lexmark fixed my printer. They insist that what they did was not responsible for this and that it is a browser problem.

    Do you use Yahoo as your mail client? You can change this setting by following the instructions on this page [[Changing the e-mail program used by Firefox]] .

    Frank gave you the exact answer to your question. 
    However, I would like to ask if you are indeed asking the right question.  Do you really want different libraries?  The implications are that you have to "switch" libraries to see what's in the others, and so that your searches don't work across all of your pictures?  If so, then you asked the right question.  If not, you may be more interested in relocating your masters to multiple hard drives so your library gets smaller, instead of breaking up the library.

  • "request more info" "Submit info" in bpel human tasks functionality

    Hi all
    i have a 5 steps approval process. We want the task to return to first approver from any of these steps. For example if the 3rd approver sends it back, the 1st approver will have the task again and when he/she approves it will go on with 2nd approver in the next step (not the 3rd one)(1-->2-->3-->1-->2-->3-->4...). So i thought that "request info" will fit this requirement but it returns to the 3rd one after info is submitted by 1st one(i checked reapproval needed).
    So do you know if it is a bug or expected behaviour? And what else can you suggest to provide a solution?

  • Social network sites requesting more info - is it safe to give?

    Many of these free services - Facebook, GMail, etc, ask for additional personal information to help validate your identity. It seems counter-intuitive.  If some of these sites can be hacked, do I want them to store additional information about me?
    Is it safe to provide such information?

    Most web site registration requests require a valid email address and the member's name. Anything beyond that is intrusive for a simple web site "registration" membership just to play a game or view and send email.
    There are some other aspects to web site membership you should consider before offering any other information regarding your identity. Some of these would be relative to the "purpose" behind your registration, and what type of web site.
    For example, you decide to perform your banking online. Your bank's web site is going to require much more personal information than just an email address and your name. In that example, you can see the need for providing such information. Before you do however, you should make certain the web site has protective features available, starting with the web site protocol itself.
    When registering at a web site that requires personal information, look in the address bar of your browser. Make sure the web site address line starts with "HTTPS://".
    Never use the same password at every site.  If that site should be compromised, your account information could be readily available to the hacker. 
    You can have different passwords for different accounts. One way to keep track of this is to have an address book—the actual paper kind that you write in with a pen—stored near the computer (but not at it, or at least, out of sight from it). Such books are a great place to keep mnemonics and tips to help you answer password recovery questions for web sites.  Keep in mind, though, that you should not write the actual answers to the questions in there, just something that helps you remember your answer.
    If it is too much of a hassle to use a different password for every site, then use passwords for different types of sites, e.g. use a very strong password for financial sites, another strong password for email accounts, and an easier password for general site accounts.

  • Feature Request: more info in 'Reply' window

    Perhaps this has been requested before but I haven't seen it so please forgive what may be rehashing an old request.
    One thing I find inconvenient about responding to some Discussions posts is that in the "Post Message: Reply" page the user profile info about their Mac model, OS version, & other computer information is not displayed along with the text of their message. Since sometimes this info is critical to posting an appropriate reply, it would be useful to see it while composing a reply, just like it is in the threaded views of the topic's posts.

    Of course tabs in one window will all close if the the window is closed (the red close button vs the (x) in the tab).
    With a lot of tabs present in one Safari window, the tab names become highly truncated. Because of that it is too easy for me to accidentally close a tab by clicking on its "x" when I meant to click on its name, & too easy to lose track of which tab is which.
    It probably is less of a problem with a large screen, but on a 13" MacBook it can be quite annoying, particularly if I'm trying to leave some screen space available for referencing the contents of other windows besides Safari's for some Discussions reply.

    The intention behind to post question is now I am planning to add WWAN module, for that before going to order like to know ...is in my T61 can add WWAN module. And also like to know WWAN antenna is by default will install or not.

  • Can not email Photos directly from I Photo. Says the email address and password are compatiable but never asked for a password or showed where to use a passowrd???

    Can not e-mail a photo from I photo. Pop up says that the e-mail adress is not compatiable with the password. Was never asked for password and the e-mail adress is correct.

    If you are using iPhoto as the e-mail client in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete the accountband re-enter it

  • Can't change the "from" address when I send an Email.

    I have recently changed my email address but my iPhoto is still trying to use my old one.  I thought I should be able to use the drop down to select the other address but only the old one shows.  I have checked my Address Book, Email Accounts, and iPhoto Preferences.  I can't seem to change my default email address anywhere so that my default reflects the new email account.
    Has anyone seen this and better yet, fixed it?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Eric.  That did the trick.  I must have looked through the preferences 4 times.  I had deleted my old Mobile Me account out of there, but I didn't see the "Email" account.  I deleted it and set up the iCloud account and it worked great.

  • Reader Extended PDF,  Enable More Tools (includes from fill-in & Save)-

    Using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.6, I scanned a document to PDF and added a digital signature. I saved the PDF. I then reopened the PDF and saved it with a different name as follows:
    Save As Other…
    Reader Extended PDF
    Enable More Tools (includes from fill-in & Save)…
    When I email the PDF to be signed, the recipient opens the form in Reader XI, but immediately gets this message: "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document."
    This document was not changed; it was sent as an email attachment right after it was saved with extended features.
    What is the fix for this?
    I am using Window 7 Professional (64-bit).

    I have done it both ways. If I create a new form from a PDF, it will not allow me to save it directly to extended features. I have to do as you said:  save it, close it, and reopen it to save it as extended. Just adding a digital signature will allow me to save it directly with extended features. I have, however, done it with the save, close, and reopen method as well.
    The weird thing about all of this is that the person setting in the next office, running the same version of everything, has NO issues with this. Maybe it is a Windows setting???
