Request Response Receive Port and Solicit Response Send Port

Can anyone give me some idea how to bind Request Response Receive Port and Solicit Response Send Port with each other through TCP/IP adapter ??

The binding of a Receive and Send Port has nothing to with the choice of Adapter.
1) There is no out-of-the-box TCP/IP Adapter for BizTalk, but several 3rd. Party Adapters has been made, along with this one in CodePlex: http://tcpipbz2010.codeplex.com/
2) Most people will use an Orchestration for binding a SR Send Port to a RR Receive Port. This may not be necessary though. All you need to do is have your Send Port subscribe to your Receive Port (by setting the Filter on the Send Port to "BTS.ReceivePortName
== [The name of your Receive Port]". In this case, internal correlation will make sure that the response is routed back to the Receive Port.

  • I just bought a new portable battery. It uses 2 USB ports to charge devices, a 1 amp port and a 2 amp port. My question is which port do I plug my iPhone 5s into and which do I use for my iPad 2?

    It's a 10,000 mAh external battery. I got this for traveling and because I go to disneyland a lot. My phone wont last all day there and unlike some people, I would never plug my phone into their outlets (I watched a girls phone spark and practically melt once), their voltage is way too high. I have other batteries, but when I saw that this one can charge the 5s fully 3-5 times, I new it was a must. Online, there were wonderful reviews about it and that it charges the 5s and the iPad 2 wonderfully. However when I opened the package and read the directions it listed that there were 2 USB ports, a 1 amp and a 2 amp and to match your device to the port. Now it's been a while since I've studied about volts, amps, etc. so the first thing I do is google it. I know that the iPhone 5s uses 1 amp and the iPad 2 uses 2 amps, and from what I read, you can use the iPad charger to charge the iPhone (which I didn't know there were conflicts about this, I've always used my iPad charger for my phone). There are a lot of articles with people going back and forth about charging techniques, but I want to make sure I'm not going to damage any of my devices if I plug it into the wrong port.
    Any responses will be appreciated as this isn't an area where I am very knowledgeable! Thank you!!!

    The iPhone and iPad draw whatever charging current they require. The iPad draws more.

  • Difference between HTTP Server port and HTTP Server listen port

    Hi,
    What's the difference between the following?
    Oracle HTTP Server port = 7780
    Oracle HTTP Server listen port = 7781
    They are the ports used in my 9ias 9.0.3 instance.
    Please advise.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    The server port, 7780, is port where HTTP server response and listen ports are other ports tha HTTP Server can listen. In IAS, the default configuration, the server port is response for Web Cache and Web Cache connect with HTTP Server in listen port.

    Hi,
    I found the blog
    Using the SOAP inbound channel of the Integration Engine
    So the main differences are:
    Advantage
    When you send SOAP messages directly to the Integration Server, you reduce the message load on the adapter engine. This can improve the performance.
    Restrictions
    The SOAP inbound channel of the Integration Server does not support attachments. SOAP messages with content type "multipart" are rejected.

  • What is difference between using VIrtual USB port and standard TCP/IP port

    Have a dv6t 2000 laptop and connecting to a photosmart 6150
    Trying to figure out why I have two printer devices installed for the same printer, actually three, one says 6100 series (have to connect to laptop docking station), one says 6100 series 1 (this one i can print to wirelessly) and the last one says 6100 series fax.
    Both the 6100 series and 6100 series 1 only allow me to scan when it is docked but i can print wirelessly to series 1.
    is there a way to scan wirelessly as well.  Allprinters are shared home network.

    Let's handle the easy one first.  The 6100 series fax icon was installed by the HP software as a printer so that you can select that printer from a program.  When you select the 6100 series fax to print to, it sends out that document as a fax skipping the hard copy step of faxing.
    When you look at the icons in the printers folder keep in mind that those are for printing not scanning.  Those icons do not represent a scanner being installed.  It would appear that you have setup the HP software once when docked.  I am assuming that the printer is attached USB to the laptop dock.
    To clear this up, delete the series 1.  That is your network print icon.  Once it is deleted, undock the laptop and then rerun the HP software.  It should come up to a menu where you can select Add a Device.  Go through the network install and it should put a series 1 icon back into the printers folder but also enable scanning over wireless.

    Thank you

    I'd advise you to download and use Cisco Configuration Professional (CCP) if you want to secure your router and setup some access-lists for your servers.
    Right now your setup is very insecure (no authentication beyond a simple plain text password on  the vty lines). CCP has a security audit feature that will remedy that and other issues.
    For your servers, you will need an extended access-list applied to your outside interface Gi0/1 restricting access to the NATted server addresses on the ports you want to allow.

  • BAM - using with Request Response Send Port

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where a message is received on a receive port, sent to a solicit-response send port, and then the response is sent out on another send port.  All ports have failed message routing enabled, so that any errors are sent out to an exceptions
    send port.
    I am interested to hear options on how you would set up a BAM tracking profile for this in the TPE to log the time received, time sent on the two way send port, time response returned and then finally the time the last send was carried out?  Would you
    use a single Activity/View and continuations, Multiple Activities or Views and multiple tracking profiles etc?  How would you include the time that an error was sent to the exception port.....
    I have a solution, but I am not sure it is ideal and I would be interested in how others would tackle this.  If you know BAM, feel free to offer an opinion :)
    Thanks
    Stu.

    Hi Stuart,
    You can start up your activity from Orchestration .No need to have a continuation from Pipeline as you can use xml receive .
    You solution is simple were you are receiving your message from location and hitting a solicit-response
    port .
    Just have a Expression shape to start up  with your activity and on the points when you want to update
    the activity.
    Code is listed below
    //Create a Activity ID
    string activityId = Guid.NewGuid().ToString() ;
    //Start the activity with your Activity Name
    Microsoft.BizTalk.Bam.EventObservation.OrchestrationEventStream.BeginActivity(“SampleActivity”, activityID);
    // Updates the activity record.
    Microsoft.BizTalk.Bam.EventObservation.OrchestrationEventStream.UpdateActivity(“SampleActivity”, activityID, “ReceiveLocation”, Rcvmsg(BTS.Receivelocation), "TRANSACTION_CREATED", DateTime.UtcNow);
    // End the activity record.
    Microsoft.BizTalk.Bam.EventObservation.OrchestrationEventStream.EndActivity(“SampleActivity”, activityID);
    If you want to work with same activity in continuation with Other Orchestration (Generic Exception Handler may be ),then create a continuation token with a Property schema and from parent Orchestration assign value to it.
    continuationToken = "_Continuation" + msg_Internal.ContinuationID;
    Hope this will clear your ideas as you dont require to start up tracking from Pipeline .
    Thanks

  • I have to send messages through UDP multicast and unicast from same port. In Labview I tried that it throws error. I heard it is possible by means of Datagram (UDP unicast and multicast) Port Sharing. How can it be achieved in Labview?

    I have to send UDP multicast and Unicast messages to a remote port from a single source/local port. I tried by opening UDP unicast and multicast in the same port and got the expected error. I tried by opening a unicast connection and sending unicast messages.After that when multicast messages has to send I closed unicast and opened multicast in the same port.This is not throwing any error. But my requirenment is to comminicate with another application in C ++ which recieves this data, throwing an error of lost connectivity and both the applications are not abled to communicate properly.
    In the other application with C++ this is implemented using port sharing. So how port sharing can be implemented in labview so that I can send both multicast and unicast messages from the same port?
    Thanks in advance

    UDP is a sessionless protocol, meaning that anyone listening on the specified port CAN receive the data. CAN because as you noted there is no guarantee in the protocol that it will be received. And if you send the data not to a specific address but a multicast address not only one computer can receive it but in fact every computer on the same subnet listening to that multicast address and depending on the TTL of the packet also computers in neighbouring subnets, although that last one is not a very reliable operation since routers can be configured to drop multicast packages anyhow despite of a different TTL saying otherwise.
    Accordingly there is no real way to make sure that a receiving UDP port is not already in use, since you don't build up a connection. UDP is more or less analogous to shouting your messages through a megaphone, and anyone listening on the right frequency (port) can hear it. You do bind the sender socket to a specific port number but that makes little difference.

  • Send port filter and Orchestration binding priority

    Hello,
    say there is some receive port RecvPort1. What will happen if some send port filter has BTS.ReceivePortName == RecvPort1 and some orchestration is binded to RecvPort1 also? When message come to receive location of RecvPort1 will it be transmitted
    to send port path or into the orchestration and why?
    Thanks in advance,
    Tomislav

    Here is the pictorial representation of your scenario for better understanding:
    In BizTalk subscription, you will have two subscriptions, one subscription- when you start the orchestration (which is directly bound to Receive port) and another subscription when you enlist the send port with filter for the Receive port. Here are
    the high level sequence to activities that would happed:
    So after the message is received by the Receive port, it would be published to BizTalk message box db.
    Subscription evaluation would take place to match subscription for the  published message (into BizTalk msgbox db).
    As in your case for the published message two subscriptions would be evaluated. And instance of orchestration  would receive the message and also the send port with filter which match to the Receive Port which published the message

  • Sender Port Error in SAP ECC for IDoc

    Hi,
    I am creating scenario IDOC -> XI -> JDBC with Customer Master IDoc.
    After sending it with we19 he said "IDoc sent to SAP system or external program".
    In we02 and we05 the IDOC it says "Data passed to port OK".
    But in SM58, the IDoc ends in error saying
    Transaction IDX1: Port SAPIDST100, client 600, RFC destination contains error.
    What I identified that the port SAPIDST100 is the sender port in the IDoc being send. However, for PI we do not need to maintain sender port.
    Business Systems:
    Sender : SAP ECC
    Receiver: SAPPID
    Kindly provide your inputs.
    Thanks
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
    thanks for the information that your scenario is working fine.
    But i want to clarify some points:
       - If you send out an IDoc from an ECC system, the senderport is filled with SAP+<system-id> by the SAP IDOC API,
         i.e.  if your system id is "ABC", the senderport is "SAPABC"
          => your senderport SAPIDST does not match this template, so i assume you entered the value for the senderport
         manually in the idoc test utility WE19
       - if you send out an idoc, only the receiver port must be created in transaction WE21, it is not necessary to create
         the senderport in WE21, this is not necessary and did not solve your problem
      - the idoc was send from ECC (application system with application IDoc metadata) to an XI/PI system (basis system
        without application idoc metadata
       The IDoc adapter on the pi system must analyze the IDoc segments and must know the idoc application metadata,
       but this is not known. So the idoc adapter on PI side looks at the senderport to identify the sender.
       In transaction IDX1 an rfc-destination can be configured to point to the sendersystem with that senderport
       With this rfc-destination  the IDoc adapter tries to read the idoc aplication metadata from the ECC system and stores it on PI side.
       If there is no rfc-destination configured in transaction IDX1 on PI side you get the error mentioned in your request.
       I assume that in transaction IDX1 somebody configured the correct RFC-Destination.
    I hope this clarification helps you to understand the error and the solution.
    Kind regards,
    Andreas Dahl

  • Error when using 64-bit host in send port

    Guys,
    I am trying out a simple message routing scenario. I have created a send pipeline and have used the MIME/SMIME component in the encoding stage of the pipeline. My application has a receive and a send port with receive port configured to receive *.xml documents
    and is using XMLReceive pipeline. My send port uses the pipeline I have explained above and contains a filter to BTS.ReceivePortName=="[receive port in the application]". The send port is also configured to use a certificate. The send handler is the 64-bit
    BizTalk host. When I drop a message in the receive port, message in the send port gets suspended with error "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {254B4003-2AA7-4C82-BB2E-18BA7F22DCD2} failed due to the following error: 80040154
    Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).
    " However when I use a 32-bit host message on the send port gets encrypted as I expect. Has anyone faced this issue before and found a solution? BTW I am using BTS 2010 on 64-bit machine

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa559177(BTS.10).aspx
    This occurs because the MIME pipeline component is not supported in a 64-bit host instance. To resolve this, the host associated with the send and receive handler for the file adapter must be configured as a 32-bit only host. For more information on this
    see How to Modify Host Properties. If you already have a 32-bit only host configured on the system and want to use it see Configuring the File Adapter for instructions on configuring the host(s) associated to the file adapter’s send and receive handler.
