XAML code:
 <Grid x:Name="ContentPanel" Margin="12,163,12,10" Grid.RowSpan="2"  >
 <ListBox x:Name="moviesList"
                SelectionChanged="moviesList_SelectionChanged">
                <ListBox.ItemTemplate>
                    <DataTemplate>
                        <Border x:Name="brdTest" BorderBrush="Gray" BorderThickness="0,1,0,1" Height="360" Width="500">
                            <Grid Height="350" Width="300">
  <Image delay:LowProfileImageLoader.UriSource="{Binding MovieImage}"
                                 HorizontalAlignment="Center"
                                   Margin="-30,0,0,30"/>
                                <StackPanel Margin="30,280,10,-20"
                                        Height="60"
                                        Orientation="Horizontal"
                                          VerticalAlignment="Bottom">
                                    <TextBlock Text="{Binding MovieName}"
                                           FontSize="35" />
                              </StackPanel>
                            </Grid>
                        </Border>
                    </DataTemplate>
                </ListBox.ItemTemplate>
            </ListBox>
  </Grid> But in listbox Images of different widths and heights were displaying.
As shown in below screenshot..
I need to get all images of equal height and width.How can I resize them.Do we have any methods of resizing or compressing the images to equal heights and widths....Plzz..help me..
ManyThanks in advance...

Hi
There is a similar thread on re-sizing image. Please see if it helps.

  • Photoshop CC: Have a template that I moved image into.  Image is too small.  How do I resize the image while in the template?  Or must I go to original image file and resize there again and again until I get the right fit?

    I have a template that I am able to plug different pictures into at different times.  The problem is that when I plug an image into that template, I find that the image is either too big or too small.  Is there a way to plug the image into the template and resize the image (and not the template itself) OR will I have to go to the file with the original image and resize it there and then try to plug it in to the template to see if it fits------and if it does not fit, go back to the original file with the image and resize it again and see if that fits---and so on and so on...........?  I have tried the" image size" option but it's hit or miss------mostly miss!
    Thanks!

    Read up on Smart Objects. It looks like you have no idea as to how to create and use them.
    Jut create a Smart Object from the layer containing whatever it image it is that you are "plugging into your template".  But you do need to learn the application at its most basic levels.
    Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.  You cannot learn Photoshop in a forum, one question at a time.
    Or is it possible that you don't even have Photoshop proper but the stripped-down Photoshop Elements?"
    If the latter is the case, you're in the wrong forum.  This is not the Elements forum.
    Here's the link to the forum you would want if you're working in Elements.:

    If you do have Photoshop proper, please provide the exact version number of that application and of your OS.

    how to read data from XML  variable and insert into table variable

    I updated to Photoshop cc 2014 and now can't resize the images like I used to.
    I used to click on the image and then go to the corner hold down shift and resize it.  Now it won't do it.
    How do I do it now?
    I have a project deadline and need to do this asap.  Panicking that I won't meet my deadline.

    Did you turn off the "show transform controls" option in the move tool?
    It sounds like you were using that previously.
    And you can always transform by using the Free Transform command (command/control T).

  • How do I change the image title when it is uploaded from iphoto to iweb. At the moment the image title is /shapeimage_1.png and I would like to put in something more relevant than just shapeimage?

    How do I change the image title when it is uploaded from iphoto to iweb. At the moment the image title is /shapeimage_2.png and I would like to put in something more relevant than just shapeimage_2?

    When you drag images from iPhoto to iWeb, iWeb retains the original filename.
    When you use a mask, iWeb creates a png file with the shapeimage name.
    So do not use a mask and crop your images before dropping them on the iWeb canvas.
    When you use an irregularly shaped mask, then png files are created. They have to be png because of the transparency of the shape.
    You can use a 3rd party application to create the png images yourself, and give them a proper name.
    Or use the published png files, rename them and drop them back onto the iWeb canvas, while first removing the previous images.

    RandomAccessFile? If you know where you want to insert it.Are you sure about this? If using this, the receiving file would have to have bytes inserted that exactly match the number of bytes replaced. I'm thinking that you'll likely have to stream through the second XML with a SAX parser and copy information (or insert new information) as you stream with an XML writer of some sort.

  • How to place the images in Indesign xml file by Javascript?

    How to place the images in Indesign xml file by Javascript?
    We got the Indesign xml file, how to give the image placement link by Indesign javascript? Please help me its urgent.

    Hi,
    You can pass the image url as a href attribute=> file:///Users/me/Documents/my_pic.jpg directly within your xml. It just needs that you pass a local, static and valid url.
    If you want to add image later once the xml is flowed and so target specific nodes and inject images, it's a bit more complex. If the node is not part of the layout, you may try to reach the XMLElement objet and such an attribute, then layout the element.
    var x = some XMLElement
    x.xmlAttributes.add("href","file:///Users/m/Documents/my_pic.jpg" );
    If already placed, then you have to get the associated pageItem, then place your file into it.
    pagItm.place ( File ( "/Users/m/Documents/my_pic.jpg" ) );
    Hope that helps,

    Having trouble sending jpeg images as attachments in Mac email.....they go thru as images and PC users can't see the SAVE or QUICK LOOK boxes that Mac mail has.  One friend scrolled over the image, right clicked on it and saved as a PNG file.

    Apple Mail isn't going to change the format of any of your attachments. it isn't going to corrupt them either.
    Exchange is a transport protocol and server. The issue you describe is not related to Exchange.
    There are many different versions of Microsoft Outlook in use and they all have e-mail bugs. Different versions have different bugs. Some Apple Mail hack to get around a bug in Outlook 2003 may cause the same message to be problematic in Outlook 2000. Fix them both and another issue will cause trouble in Outlook 2007. You can't fix this. Apple can't fix this. Microsoft can and has but that is irrelevant if your recipients are using older versions.
    One specific problem is that Apple Mail always sends image attachments inline, as images, not as iconized files. You can change this with Attachment Tamer. Just be aware that use of this software will break other things such as Stationery. E-mail is just a disaster. To date, no one outside of Apple has ever implemented the e-mail standards from 1993. Apple has continually changed its e-mail software to be more compatible with the de-facto standards that Netscape and Microsoft have unilaterally defined and people documented as "standards" after the fact. The e-mail messages that Apple Mail sends are 100% correct and do not violate any of the original standards from 1993 or the Microsoft/Netscape modifications. The problem is entirely bugs and limitations in various versions of Outlook.

  • Can I mix docs from document feeder and scanner glass into one PDF?

    When working with the HP Scanner software, prior to Windows 8, I was able to MIX the source of my documents, meaning I could put all the standard size docs on the document feeder, scan them, and then ADD non-standard sized documents, one at a time, to the same PDF from the scanner glass.  The Windows 8 Scan and Capture software seems to make me pick one or the other.  It was SO convenient, when doing my expense reports, to be able to scan 15 pages or so using the ADF, then use the glass for all of my receipts that were small or damaged.  Am I missing something, or is the Win8 software more limited?  Thanks for any help you might provide!!

    When importing images into LR5 on my laptop, the photos all have a wide yellow streak through them. This only happens on the laptop; I can import the images onto my desktop LR and there isn't the streak of colour.   Can someone help?
    This is happening even with photos that were taken on another camera, not just mine.  My daughter told me that the laptop recently fell.  The yellow streak is not anywhere else on the laptop, just on the photos in LR.

    I have had this problem on my desktop.  I have been attempting to reproduce it where it can be debugged. Here are some observations/facts in my environment--no conclusions:
    1. I do not import from camera or memory stick directly into LR.  I copy all images (using Explorer) from camera to two different locations (backup location first); and then my working area. In both cases, after files are copied I mark them Read-only.
    2. Poor observation, but in any event: the issue has only occurred when I do a large number of images. Its a poor observation as I have no exact number.  I suspect when I do less than 50 always works well every time.  However, I have also done some very large imports without issue.
    3. Error only occurs with my RAW images--for me that's NEF.  I have multiple cameras--those that only capture jpg images have never had an issue in LR.
    4. Even if the file is marked Read Only issues can still occur.  I then remove the image from the disk using LR -- and then manually (Explorer) copy in my backup image -- re import again and all is well.  I think one time I exited LR and replaced the bad file with a backup and restarted LR and all was well again.
    5. When it occurs I have performed a HASH value on the broken file and on the backed up file to determine if the file contents has changed--and each time the file contents has changed.
    6. I have had this occur immediately after import, but most often it occurs like this... import large number of images; Make changes in Development Module on random image, export jpg of changes--exit LR. Open up LR and file is corrupted.
    7. I have had this issue on multiple USB drives ( okay just 2 different drives have been tested ).
    What next--fire up Process Monitor and monitor the system (specifically LR) to see if it reports any file open for write access when this occurs.  So, far I have not had process monitor actually running when it occurs--one of these days.

    i am searching extract data from xml file and insert into another exiting xml file by a java program. I understood it is easy to extract data from a xml file, and how ever without creating another xml file. We want to insert the extracted data into another exiting xml file. Suggestions?
    Regards,
    Zhuozhi

    If the files are small, you can load the target file in a DOM document, insert the data from the source file and persist the DOM.
    If the files are large, you probably want to use a StAX or SAX.

  • Resizing the images

    hi,
    i want to resize and centering external images.
    i have done with centering the images.
    but how to do resizing.....here is my code....
    // code for centering images starts
    //Define center coordinates
    var centerX:Number = _root.emptymc_mc.imagemc_mc._width / 2;
    var centerY:Number = _root.emptymc_mc.imagemc_mc._height / 2;
    var movieClipLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var loaderListener:Object = new Object();
    //Use the onLoadInit function to get the loaded images
    proportions
    loaderListener.onLoadInit = function(target:MovieClip) {
    trace(target._width + " x " + target._height)
    target._parent._x = centerX - target._width / 2;
    target._parent._y = centerY - target._height / 2;
    // end resizing and centerring code
    // now loading images into movie clip loader
    movieClipLoader.addListener(loaderListener);
    var movieClipHolder:MovieClip =
    _root.emptymc_mc.imagemc_mc.createEmptyMovieClip(" container",
    getNextHighestDepth());
    var movieClipLoaderTarget:MovieClip =
    movieClipHolder.createEmptyMovieClip("loader", 1);
    //Load an image to the target
    movieClipLoader.loadClip(_parent._parent.thumbs.fi
    rstChild.childNodes[2].childNodes
    .childNodes[0].nodeValue, movieClipLoaderTarget);
    // end
    now how to resize the images???

    Thanks for the reply...
    now its resizing and centering the images well but not
    according to the aspect ratio.
    see... i have one mc called imagemc_mc in which i want to
    load the images.
    so first i grab the width and height of the imagemc_mc in a
    varibale.
    var imgwidth = _root.emptymc_mc.imagemc_mc._width;
    var imgheight = _root.emptymc_mc.imagemc_mc._height;
    and then in onLoadInit() method first its check the width and
    height of the target and is it is greater than imagemc_mc then it
    resize the image to the imagemc_mc 's width and height.
    if(target._width > imgwidth && target._height >
    imgheight)
    target._width = imgwidth;
    target._height = imgheight;
    else
    target._parent._x = centerX - target._width / 2;
    target._parent._y = centerY - target._height / 2;
    target._parent._x = centerX - target._width / 2;
    target._parent._y = centerY - target._height / 2;
    its working ....but if image is greater than imagemc_mc then
    the image is squeezing ....it is not according to the aspect ratio.
    please reply..............
    thanks a looooooooot
