Resource Central not working in Audition CS5.5

I can't preview or download any sounds, music, etc. from Resource Central in Audition.

I'm investigating an issue with the content server for Resource Central right now. In the meantime, all content is available for direct download by visiting http://www.adobe.com/go/audition_extras

Resource Central not working in Audition

I'm using Audition CS5.5 on a Windows 7 machine and I'm having trouble with downloading certain sound effects from the Resource Central panel. I can play a preview for every file, however I get an error message when I try to download..."We're sorry, but there was a communicating error with the server. Please try again and if the problem persists, contact Adobe Technical Support. (200) error: 0"
Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

For example:
I can listen to the the Sound Effects preview of "Liquid Water Water Splash 11" or "Liquid Water Water Splash Small 02" but when I try to download it I get the error that I mentioned above.
What's frustrating is that I can preview AND download the Sound Effects for "Ambience Air Conditioner 180 01" and "Ambience Air Conditioner Level Three 01"...but I don't want these SFX right now.
Any ideas about why Resource Central in Audition is behaving erratically?

I had problem with my CD-rom, it not able to open. On top of that recently my PC crashed.
I managed to install other software, but not able to install CS5 Web Premium.
Ive downloaded the electronic version via Adobe Downloads, but not able install it.

My Logitech mic does not work with Audition anymore. I had to reformat my hard drive and re install Audition, it is not working any more, I have test the mic with another software and it work fine. help please.

Fixed. Switched card into different slot, not sure exactly what made it work, but it does now.

Premiere does not work with Audition

I am working with Production Premium CS5.5 (German version). When ever I try to send audio to Audition (Right click/Edit in Audition) I am receiving the follwong error message: File could not be found. The project and all footage is in the same folder. Production Premium is running on my system SSD. Did this happen to someone? Any idea what could be the reason? I posted this to the German Forum and s.o. asked me to give shorter names to the files. It did not work out though. I had this problem with als my projects yet but could ignore the problem since they were simple projects with one audio only. Now it is too complex and I would like to use this function.

Here is a picture of the error message. In line one it says "opening converted file", next line,: "warning/error - when opening the following file an error occured.". IN the end row: "Details: the file could not be found"
Audition is installed and runs fine seperately. There is no problem with opening audio files, e.g. wav.
Dynamic link in combination with AE and Encore is fine as well. Actually I did not know that I can send photos from the timeline to photoshop. Does this work via right click? I do not find any option then. I only found in the file menue the option : "New/Create Photoshop file"

Pen Pressure not working in Photoshop CS5.1

I've looked at a lot of questions and answers concerning pen pressure in this forum, and I've tried a lot of things to fix this problem. I have a Genius MousePen 6x8 and use Photoshop CS5.1. It's been a while since I used my tablet, but it used to work before. I rebooted my computer a while ago, so I installed the new driver from the Genius website. The tablet is working fine, even the pen pressure, but for some reason it just won't work in Photoshop. I've tried to fix it by resetting the Photoshop settings by using the Ctrl+Shift+Alt, I've reset the brush tool, I've played around with the brush options and nothing has worked.

Your tablet driver isn't reporting pressure correctly.
The knockoff tablet drivers usually need to be revised for each new version of Photoshop (and we have no idea why).
Contact your tablet maker to see if they have updated drivers to fix their bugs.

The feature "Save as" is not working in Photoshop CS5

Hello, I've downloaded Photoshop CS5 in trial mode but the "feature" "Save as" and "Save" are not working, I can't save my work, is it a restriccion for being in the trial mode?. I'm using Windows XP sp2 with 1.5 Gb RAM, 100 Gb HD and 2.6 Ghz Intell processor. Before the Photoshop CS5 I had installed the CS4 Suite and was working perfectly well. Could you help me with this?.

The trial version is the same as the full version except
for the 30 day limitation.
I think on windows xp you need sp3 for cs5 to work as expected.

"Open with" in Windows does not work for Bridge CS5

When I right click on a picture to open it with Bridge CS5 nothing happens. Does anybody know how to fix this?
It worked with older version of Bridge and it stopped once I installed the CS5.
I have Windows Vista.

So have you opened the fly out menu that lists the open wiht programs? It has a option down on the bottom to set other "open with" options such as open with Bridge. Does this not work?
It works one single files on my machine.

ScriptUI openDialog not working downgrading from CS5.5 to CS4

So here is my newest bit of fun. The scripts I have been writing have been in CS5.5, but I was informed today that they need to run on CS4.
Most everything seems to be working, except one critical piece. Here is a quick summary of what I am doing.
I am opening a window that has two text boxes and two buttons. The first button opens up a file dialog box that lets the client choose where their XML file is located. When they select it and click ok, it populates the first text box with the path.
The second button opens up a folder dialog box that lets the client choose the location of their images folder, and when they click ok, it populates the second text box with the path.
Everything works peachy in CS5.5. But when I tried it in CS4, this is what it is doing. When I choose a file and click OK, it is populating the text box with the word "File". When I choose a folder, it is populating the second box with the word "Folder"
Here are the relevant functions:

Add a line to your code:
if (tf != null)
     $.writeln (tf.constructor.name);
      e2.text = tf;
      tf = tf.fsName;
And run your script from the ESTK with the console open. You'll see that File is printed. So tf is not a string but a file object. Use e2.text = tf.fsName to display the file's full path name or e2.text = tf.name to show just the name. The same applies to the other function, the one that shows Folder instead of the folder's name.

Select Resource step not working?

I'm attempting to figure out why my Select Resource step is not working for me. During the debug command, i see it hitting the select resource step, but jumping right down to the next step.
Why would it not hit the Queued step?

Resource Delegation Not Working

On Exchange 2010 SP3 RU8v2, for the life of me I can't figure out why resource delegation is not functioning as expected. The issue is that the approval email is not being sent to the delegate but instead it's sitting in the resource's inbox.
I verified with a bunch of articles and it should be quite straight forward to set this up:
1. Create room resource
2. "Specify users who are allowed to submit in-policy meeting requests that will be automatically approved" - Check, Selected recipients, (blank)
3. "Specify who can submit in-policy meeting requests that are subject to approval by a resource mailbox delegate" - Check, All users
4. "Enable the Resource Booking Attendant..." - Uncheck
5. Add user to "Specify delegates of this mailbox"
6. "Forward meeting requests to delegates" - Check
7. Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity test-room2 -AutomateProcessing:None
Under this configuration, all users adding the resource into the meeting request will trigger an approval email to the delegate but it's simply not working. Why?

Hi,
The "Enable the Resource Booking Attendant..." should be checked in the resource mailbox delegate configuration. We also can run the following command in EMS:
Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity test-room2 -AutomateProcessing AutoAccept
Then check whether the issue persists.

Ctrl and left click not working in DW CS5

When Im working in design view for some reason my links are not working when I press ctrl and left click. To make them work I have to right click and select follow link.
Its not a major problem because I can still carry on, but its annoying!

I presume you're talking about Live View, because links don't work in Design view.
One thing you can try is selecting View > Live View Options > Follow Links Continuously, or select the option from the Live View Options menu in the Browser Navigation toolbar.
It works only for the current tab, but is useful if you're following a lot of links.

Zoom not working on bridge CS5

zoom function not working on bridge, when using zoom slider at base, the jpegs move off right of screen a bit before filling next row,

There are two places on settings where you can tunr zoom on or off for the trackpad.
They both need to be on for it to work.
The first is under: system preferences>trackpad>scroll & zoom, then you just need to chekc the box to turn zoom on. ( this is the one you already have checked i think)
The second is under: system preferences>universal access>seeing, then check the box that says zoom.

T4i raw files not working in my cs5

Please help I shoot a wedding a borrowed a second camera thats a t4i, for some reason i cant see them in PS cs5, I have done the updates but still nothing?

That model camera is newer than the last version of ACR (6.7) that works with PS-CS5.
Your choices are to upgrade your Photoshop (PS-CS6 for $200 thru Dec 31, PS-CC for $20/mo, $10/mo first year) or use the Adobe DNG Converter to convert that camera’s raw files to DNGs and process those DNGs in the older version of ACR that you have with CS5. I guess getting Lightroom for $150 would also work.
