You can only see the menu of one responsibility at a time, so how to do you expect the application to let you see multiple responsibilities/menus in one session?
    You could open another session and this way you can access more than one responsibility at the same time.

  • Worklist not getting displayed in responsibilites screen

    I have Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2. Once I login to applications its showing me the responsibilites but its not displaying the notification list or worklist as it used to show in version 11.5.9.
    How to display this worklist without going through the navigation of Workflow > Worklist ?

    The old mod_plsql worklist from 11.5.9 is no longer available. Please give your users Workflow User Web Applications (or any of the Workflow User/Administrator) responsibilities. The worklist is now on the Notifications Link, and the Status Monitor allows investigation of workflows in progress/error.

  • Menu Options in responsibilities getting displayed in different language.

    When we are logging in with the English language in R12, the menu options for some responsibilities are displayed in different languages, which is looking very strange. This is happening to different responsibilities. can any one help me on this.

  • Item created at site level can not be seen in other responsibilities

    Hi,
    I've made changes to one of the iProcurement pages.
    I added an item (type : Tip) at the site level . The context is as follows:
    scope : page
    site : include
    organization : A
    responsibility : B
    The Tip item's rendering properties are as follows:
    Site : True
    Organization : Inherit
    Responsibility : Inherit
    Now, I go to another responsibility C and when I looked for this item, it can't be seen.. The item could not even be searched in the personalizations page.
    The context for this as follows:
    scope : page
    site : include
    organization : D
    responsibility : C
    I just want to know that when an item created at site level should be seen by all the responsibilities right?
    why is that it is not getting displayed here?

    Hi Ram,
    I could clearly see that the item got created at site level.
    The function in the context window is left blank.
    site: include
    organization : A
    responsibility : B
    I could see the item in the B responsibility.
    But when I go to some other responsibility ( with a different organization), I could not see the item.
    This page I'm talking about is NonCatalogShoppingPG (iProcurement).

    I am not technical person... but wanted to if anybody has experienced the following problem:-
    When logging into any account i get the following message:- There are no active responsibilities available for this user
    No i have looked the threads posted and most advise to run the WF_SYNCHRONIZE_LOCAL_TABLES concurrent request.. if i run this through toad or UNIX as i can’t get into forms i always seem to get the following message which could be playing a part in my initial problem.....ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktsircinfo_num1], [9], [33], [52844], [], [], [], []
    When i also query the following table Fnd_User_Resp_Groups i also get the following message: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktsircinfo_num1], [9], [33], [52844], [], [], [], []
    any help would be most welcome......

    Is the system in maintenance mode, by any chance ? You put the app in maintenance mode when applying patches. If you connect as the apps database user, what does this sql statement return ?

    If the system is not in maintenance mode, you only option would be to open an SR

  • 11.5.10.2  Upgrade to R12.1.2 Oracle Responsibilities

    We just cloned/ugraded from 11.5.10.2 to R12.2.2 in Test instance. I would like to get your thoughts/experiences in handling the existing responsibilty that was cloned ( i.e. NOT seeded resp). I was made aware there there might be some menus that might no longer work in R12 for those non seeded resp.
    It it will take me a considerable amount of time to recreate those resp in R12 as well as checking the discoverer reports that was attached to those resp. Will it make sense just review the menu and replace it necessary rather than creating a new one?

    This all depends on how many responsibilities/menus/reports you have, and I think no one can help much as we are not aware of what code/functionalities you are using/utilizing in your custom code/setup.

    Java: 1.3.1
    User logs in. All resps (responsibilities) are displayed. Clicks on 'System Administrator' responsibility. Chooses 'Security/Define' , User define form pops up.
    Queries his own id. Adds a new resp OR end_dates a resp. Clicks on "Navigotor" button on top of the form. He finds his actions (adding or removing resp) were taken care. He closes all form screens. Comes back to homepage (jsp version, main page). Clicks on refresh button of Internet explorer. Changes are not affected. Still he can see old resps. He logs out. Logs in. No use. Still he finds those changes did not take palce. ADDED TO THIS, FOR SOME USERS, 'SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR' resp is gone.
    BUT, if you login as "/f60cgi/dev60cgibin" , everything is fine. You can see expected changes taken place.
    In short, users resps are missing when one adds or removes resp.
    Any thoughts? Replies are highly appreciated.

    Hi,
    We are currently on R12 with a single org setup and and have a requirement to create custom resp. to control user access.
    Pls. let me know if creation of custom menus, sub menus, request groups is the right option OR menu, function exclusions a better option.
    When compared to 11i does R12 require any additional setups apart from New Resp, Menu, Submenu, Functions, Request Groups, Profile Options..?
    Any metalink note Id which discusses detail of creation of custom resp. in R12 will be of great help.

    The only way you can restrict an user to do certain activities only by defining multiple custom responsibilities... e.g.. A user should not have the privilege to do setups in the system.. He is authorised to do trxs only.. for that you define a Responsibility like "Inventory User" and exclude "setup" function/menu while defining the Responsibility... Now assign this resp to the user..By using this he will be able to do trxs only but he can't do setup or setup changes in Inventory module...
    Your question:  Pls. let me know if creation of custom menus, sub menus, request groups is the right option OR menu, function exclusions a better option.
    To my know knowledge menu, function exclusion is a better option….

    XMLP_ADMIN Administrator role for the Oracle BI Publisher Server with no access limitations.
    XMLP_DEVELOPER Assign this responsibility to allow for uploading reports from the Oracle BI Publisher Server to the Siebel application.
    where exactly the difference in Responsibilities comes in if both can upload and develop report templates?

    Hi,
    The XML API's are the core "guts" of XML Publisher. There are several that allow you to perform many different functions of XML Publisher.
    If you intend to use the XML API's, you will need to write Java classes to call them. As far as I am aware, the XML API's available for use are the exact same ones used by both Standalone Enterprise Edition and eBusiness Suite.
    I have successfully implemented several Java classes with the XML API's. They are very simple to build and 99.9% of the code can be found in the XML Publisher Users Guide (which is quite possibly the MOST comprehensive user guide ever written for one specific technology)!!

  • Sysadmin/All users are not able to see responsibilities after login in EBSR12

    I have followed the all notes from forums/metalinks. but no use.

    I came know the issue bcoz of profile change.
    on part of iSupport setup on web node, followed metalink DMZ configuration in R12.
    After I have changed below profile value, I am not able to see the responsibilities after login as sysadmin on webnode i.e new node B. but I can see responsibilities on node A.
    Update Node Trust Level
    To change the value of the Node Trust Level profile option value to External for a particular node, perform the following steps:
    1.       Login to Oracle E-Bsonapness Suite as sysadmin user sonapng the internal URL
    2.       Select the System Administrator Responsibility
    3.       Select Profile / System
    4.       From the 'Find system profile option Values' window, select the server and get the valie MINE8 into it.
    5.       Query for %NODE%TRUST%. You will see a profile option named 'Node Trust Level'. The value for this profile option at the site level will be Normal. Leave this setting unchanged.
    6.       Set the value of this profile option to External at the server level. The site level value should remain set to Normal
    I need to follow metalink note for configuration DMZ in EBS R12. but I cant see the responsibilities of sysadmin.
    fyi...I have cloned web external node by running adcfgclone.pl on node B by enabling web entry and web services only, remaining services are disabled. but as per metalink note, we should enable the Root Services also on node B. is it causing the issue after edit the profile on part of DMZ config in R12.
    please let me know how to fix this issue?

  • Purchase Requistion - Agent Determination using responsibilities - Issue

    I am new to workflow. I am having an issue wrt Purchase Requistion - Agent Determination using responsibilities.
    Created some 30 to 40 resposibilities with combination of inputs - R1, P1 & Cost Center
    Checked rule with responsibilities in Simulation mode and for the given inputs shows correct output.
    Same config is present both in DEV and ACP. Simulation works fine in both systems.
    But when I created Purchase Req. in DEV and save it. Workitem is generated for the correct agent. But when I do the same test in Quality, it fails and created Workitems for several agents.
    Checked container info. in both systems,no.of agents is the ONLY difference (i.e. 1 in DEV and 30+ agents in Quality).
    Put shred some light on this issue.

    Hi,
    Open the workflow (WS*******) with SWDD and see the bindings for the rule in the approval step (using TS00007986). Do they look the same in both environments? Are you passing the same parameters for the rule?
    Another thing that you should check is a possible authorisation error. Maybe the users are not authorised to execute the needed functions for finding the agent inside the rule (common problem).
    Also try to read the technical workflow log (Start a workflow, open SWI1 and drill-down to the workflow log). Can you see some error messages there? You will probably find a message saying that "cannot execute agent rule" or something like that. It is WF behaviour that if it cannot find an agent it will send the work item to all possible agents (unless otherwise configured).

    I need some help on EBS related security. • Running EBS - 12.1.3, OID, OAM, DIP provisioning profile • Have a BI tool which adds user responsibilities in OID groups. • Users are added as members to group in OID. • Right now only the user names in OID are provisioned to EBS. • Is there a way to provision the complete group in OID as responsibilities in EBS? • Does EBS 12.1.3 Security architecture allow this ?  Any kind of documents related to this would be helpful.     Our hosting provider has now setup "pdf2ps" on AIX level. It works correctly with "root" user. But with "applmgr" user, it gives the following error:
    Does "<10.1.2 OH>/jdk/jre/bin/libjpeg.a" exist?
    Do you have "libjpeg.so.62" package installed?
    Can you compare the PATH settings for both root and applmgr user and see if there is a difference?
    Have you reviewed (How To Print XML Publisher PDF Reports From The Concurrent Manager (Doc ID 338990.1))?

  • Applying personalization to multiple responsibilities

    Hi,
    We have personalized some Standard R12 pages. Is there a way to make the personalizations available to multiple reposnibilities without having to login to each responsibility and makie the changes manually? In Oracle forms personaliation we have the flexibility to add multiple responsibilites to a personalization. Is there any such facility in OAF?
    We have close to 35 responsibilities, out of which the personalizations need to be made to around 20.
    Please suggest in case there is a more efficient way.

    There is nothing as such like FORMS in OAF pages. For achieving the above you need to do certain workaround.
    While importing the Personalization you need to manually changes the Responsibility ID for the same. and then export it.
    I haven't tried this ever, but hope it will work.
