RESTORE Table replication in SAP HANA Via SLT

Hi Experts,
Please suggest how we can restore Replication of a Table if the same has been deleted from Tables RS_STATUS with in the same schema.
Thanks

Hi Rocky,
Run the below command from SQLEditor:
insert into <schema>."RS_ORDER" values(<your_table>, null, 'C');
Or re-load the table  as per below thread.

  • How to replicate cluster table into BW on HANA using SLT?

    Hi Members,
We have a requirement to replicate cluster table from SAP ECC (Ex:BSEG) into BW 7.4 on HANA using SLT. We know that HANA SLT is capable of replicating cluster table but it looks like BW-SLT is not capable of doing the same.
Please clarify on this and any documentation in this regard will be very helpful.
Also wondering if the current release of BW-SLT can be used to replicate Cluster tables from SAP?
    Thanks & Regards
    Shankar Chintada

    Hi Shankar,
I dont understand , why you have doubt on BW-SLT???
Using SLT you can replicate the tables pool or cluster .
If you have more specific requirment please share the details
As per above information in your enviorment it is possible.

  • Replicate APO master table data into HANA db via SLT

    Hi,
Can anybody help me on replicating SAP APO master table data into SAP HANA by using SLT.
What is the hardware requirement (Version & Patch) for APO system to communicate with SLT and is it the same methodology to follow while replicating ECC data via SLT to HANA or different.
Please treat it urgent and your suggestions highly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Ian

    Hi Ian,
From replication perspective its follow the same methodology as ECC replication to HANA.
You have to install DMIS 2011 component on your APO system to communicate with SLT.
For more details you can refer SAP note: 1759156

  • SLT pointing to HANA via db tunnel throws an error during creation of configuration

    Hi,
I am trying to replicate data from MS SQL database to Hana via SLT. I have configured the MS SQL database in DBCO and the connection test is successful. I have opened up a db tunnel using the HCP SDK from the SAP SLT server. Using the LTR transaction, I am trying to create a new configuration. In the HANA target details, I enter the user name as DEV_*, password as specified in the command console by sdk, host as localhost:30015. When I specify the configuration name different from NEO_* I see an error "Error opening db connection" and when I enter NEO_* as the configuration name I see an error "invalid table name: Could not find table / view RS_REPLICATION_COMPONENTS in schema SYS_REPL". I cannot see a SYS_REPL schema and I am assuming that this should be created. Any suggestions on how I can get past this error?
    Thanks!

    Hi SK,
Where are you checking SYS_REPL schema?

  • Open HUB ( SAP BW ) to SAP HANA through DB Connection data loading , Delete data from table option is not working Please help any one from this forum

    Issue:
I have SAP BW system and SAP HANA System
SAP BW to SAP HANA connecting through a DB Connection (named HANA)
Whenever I created any Open Hub as Destination like DB Table with the help of DB Connection, table will be created at HANA Schema level ( L_F50800_D )
Executed the Open Hub service without checking DELETING Data from table option
Data loaded with 16 Records from BW to HANA same
Second time again executed from BW to HANA now 32 records came ( it is going to append )
Executed the Open Hub service with checking DELETING Data from table option
Now am getting short Dump DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN getting
If checking in SAP BW system tio SAP BW system it is working fine ..
will this option supports through DB Connection or not ?
Please follow the attachemnet along with this discussion and help me to resolve how ?

    Hi Ramanjaneyulu ,
First of all thanks for the reply ,
Here the issue is At OH level ( Definition Level - DESTINATION TAB and FIELD DEFINITION )
in that there is check box i have selected already that is what my issue even though selected also
not performing the deletion from target level .
SAP BW - to SAP HANA via DBC connection
    1. first time from BW suppose 16 records - Dtp Executed -loaded up to HANA - 16 same
    2. second time again executed from BW - now hana side appaended means 16+16 = 32
    3. so that i used to select the check box at OH level like Deleting data from table
    4. Now excuted the DTP it throws an Short Dump - DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN
Now please tell me how to resolve this ? will this option is applicable for HANA mean to say like , deleting data from table option ...

  • Multiple Schema Creation with One Source system Via SLT

    Hi all,
we have BW on HANA environment at our company premises, with SLT server installed
So, my Question is that is it possible to create more than one schema in HANA system with one Source system
As an example, lets say, ECC (Client 601) Source System has been connected to HANA via SLT and created Schema called SCHEMA_1 and again i want to create SCHEMA_2 by connecting same ECC (Client 601) source System.
please help me to short this out?
    Thanks
    Mirana

    Hi Mirana,
Yes, it is possible to create more than one schema in HANA system with one Source system.
Please go through the Official SAP LT document for more details @ page number 13

  • MaxDB to HANA replication via SLT suffers from 8 characters password limitation?

    Hi experts,
We are trying to replicate data from a NW BPM instance (SAP NW PO (Java) on MaxDB with, let's say, sid PO7) via SLT to SAP HANA.
    (Version info: MaxDB 7.9, SLT DMIS 2011 SP5, HANA 1.0 SP6 Rev68.)
So we use the ADBC connection route, via the DBCON table.
We want to use the SAPPO7DB user because it is impossible (we think) to have another MaxDB-user connect to the SAPPO7DB (personal) SCHEMA with all the authorizations described in 1778969 - SAP LT Replication Server: Using MaxDB as non-SAP source .
So we resort to the SAPPO7DB user who has a password of 8+ characters. Connecting via SQL Studio is no problem, however via DBCON and testing via ABAP report ADBC_CHECK_CONNECTION we get "sql error      4.008- occured:  POS(1) Unknown user name/password combination" errors.
When connecting a DUMMY maxdb user with a passowrd of 8 chars, the connection test is successful. With a password of more than 8 chars, the test fails.
So is the DBCON connectivity indeed suffering from the ancient 8 characters password limitation?
If so, how to fix this? Our workaround would be to change the SAPPO7DB password to a new one of 8 characters in length. Of course, we want the PO system to keep on running, so in which configuration thingy would we need to change this password so the app server can connect to the db? (This is my lack of Java Basis knowledge showing...)
    Cheers, Wout

    Hi Wout,
I am also performing similar replication from PO to HANA which is not working.
    Replication scenario : BPM(PO) -> SLT -> HANA
Please see my post : Table BC_BPEM_EL_ENTRY not found in the control table DMC_MT_TABLES
Please help if you have any idea on this? Thanks in advance.

  • Accessing SAP HANA table via Lumira

    Hi folks,
I just tried to access a table in HANA via SAP Lumira. Unfortunately I´m just able to access Analytic Views and Calc Views with SYSTEM user per default. Which rights are necessary to grant to the user to get access. It worked with PA on another client before.
    Regards, Christoph.

    Hi,
the Help docu suggests (page 27)http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/vi01/en/lum_117_user_en.pdf
With SAP Lumira you can create charts on data available as:
    Analytic views
    Calculation views
Yes, I believe the PA jdbc HANA 'reader/writer' component has different capabilities.

  • Inserting a conversion routine in SLT replication from SAP EWM system to HANA

We are a new SAP HANA customer trying to get the 1st report out… having few issues with data replications from SAP EWM system. EWM material conversion use a Kernel level FM to convert material GUID code to human readable material code, HANA does not use this routine so we are exploring whether we can insert ABAP routine to update the SLT replication or conversion logic, for example we can call  EWM: CONVERSION_EXIT_MDLPD_OUTPUT routine and update human readable material code into correct data field in HANA. With this HANA can see the reportable material code directly. We came across few SLT specific FM’s in EWM, but need to find an enhancement spot to insert a code. I really appreciate If any of you SLT experts can let us know what would be the best way to do this.

    Hi,
well, some correction notes for SP08 were missing. Mea culpa :-) Unfortunately implementation of the notes did not solve all Problems. Now the field length is correct but the field order and "not null"-Status of the fields is still wrong.
    Best regards

  • Creating Logic and modeling for SAP BW datasource in SAP HANA views and SLT

    Hi to all,
    I have small question.
We have BW system and SAP ECC as source system and to get data from SAP ECC source system we are using SAP ECC Standard data source.
Now we required to, create modeling in SAP HANA by use of HANA View and get data from SAP ECC source table via SLT.
So we can replicate same modeling,as we done in SAP BW system.
But  my question is that, as SAP ECC standard data source hit multiple table and do run-time calculation, before sending to SAP BI.
How we can derives such calculation and logic, in our HANA studio, because as we know in SLT data transformation can be done in limited way also
in view we can not drive such logic via SQL script ?.
Is there any way we can do such modeling and logic in SAP HANA ?
    or
is there any standard document for this type of case, which we can use ?
Note: We don't want to use SAP DS or DXC for data loading to HANA, as  we want it in more real time.
    Regards
    Pavneet Rana

    Thanks for reply,
As SLT is based on ABAP, so we can write complex logic in it.
But if we talk about SAP ECC standard data source, they have complex logic, based on multiple table.
So we need to write code from scratch in SLT to derive same result. but it will be huge time consuming , and required good ABAP skills, also it will lead to bug in code.
Also it will reduce the real time performance of SLT, due to complex logic.
Second option is procedure via SQL script, which is again huge effort in term if logic and can lead to error/bug in logic.
Does we have any other way or architecture to do this is very simple way, with high performance and less error issue.

  • How to change the unload priority of a table in SAP HANA?

    Hi Experts,
How we can change the unload priority of a table in SAP HANA? I know by default the priority is 5. Is there any way so that we can check the unload priority of a particular table in HANA studio? Is there any SQL statement to get the same?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Arindam

    Hello Arindam,
    Just for the future:
ALTER TABLE - SAP HANA SQL and System Views Reference - SAP Library
    To check before hand:
    select
    table_name, unload_priority from SYS.TABLES
    where table_name = '<Your Table>'
    To Make the change:
    alter table <Your Table>unload priority <Priority You Want>.
As you have asked in the BW on HANA section I assume you're on BW and you could also have checked this with tx SE14.
Hopefully the above gives you everything you need.
    Kind Regards,
    Amerjit

  • Checking HANA Table sizes in SAP PO

    Hello All,
We have SAP PO 7.4 deployed on SAP HANA SP 09, and the SAP PO is growing fast, and it grew by 200 GB over the last 2 days. The current size of the data volume is showing almost 500 GB just for the PO system. This is HANA tenant database installation.
The total memory used by this system show about 90 GB RAM.  However, I just don't how to get the list of the table with SIZE. I looked the view CS_M_TABLE, which is showing all the tables which are using the memory, but that does not still add up though. I need to get the list of all the physical table size so I can understand to see which table is growing fast and try to come with something that would explain why we are seeing about 500 GB of database size for a SAP Java PO System.
    Thanks for all the help.
    Kumar

    Hello,
As very simple bit of SQL that you can adapt to your needs.
    select table_name, round(table_size/1024/1024) as MB, table_type FROM SYS.M_TABLES where table_size/1024/1024 > 1000 order by table_size desc
    select * from M_CS_TABLES where memory_size_in_total > 1000 order by memory_size_in_total desc
It's just a basic way of looking at things but at least it will give you all tables greater than 1GB.
I would imagine others will probably come up with something a bit more eloquent and perhaps better adapted to your needs.
    Cheers,
    A.
