hi
check with your basis team they can restrict the usage of the t-code on the basis of activity (create, change, display), parameters like sales office, division, distribution channel etc.

  • Defining Authorizations for User to restrict the data in report.

    Hi Gurus,
I have no idea on authorization concept in BI. Please give me anyone steps to creating authorization objects, roles and profiles to restrict the data for users.
    Ex.
i have functinal location info object checked as authorization relavent with below data.
    FL001
    FL002
    FL003
    FL004
    FL005
    FL006
    FL007
    FL008
    FL009
    We have users like below.
    User1
    User2
    User3
Now, if User1 is analysing a report he can see only FL001, FL005, FL009 only, remaining have to be omited.
If User2 is analysing that report he can see only FL002, FL003, FL009. And like wise.
So, Please help me providing the completed steps. I have done somting but failed.
    Thanks in advance

  • Views for list web parts. Is there a way to allow users to change the view for a list web part without being redirected?

    Hi,
I added a list view web part into a SharePoint 2013 page and it  is working as expected, except for one thing.
I have enabled the option for the user to change the view for the web part. However when the user changes it, the user is redirected away from the page containing the web part, to the URL of the list itself.
Is there a way to circumvent this issue so when the user selects a different view it updates the listing in the web part itself, rather than the user being redirected?
Thanks in advance for the help.
    Regards,
    P.

    Hi,
Please understand that one page can only display one view. You could find it out by observing the Address in browser when switching among different views for a list.
If you would like to change the view of a list web part, you could go to web part propertites > Select view and configure it.
In addition, here is a thread with similar requirement that might help:

  • BPC: Restrict the view of the values of a hierarchy

    Hello experts,
We want to restrict the view of the values of a hierarchy, let me explain. In our scenario, we have a sales hierarchy with two divisions East and West. We want the users of the East division to enter planning data only for their part of the hierarchy and so the western users. It is also possible to restrict the view of the reported data depending on the users?
We are trying to do this through the Member Access Profiles but we are not getting the issue solved. Which steps should we follow? Are we working in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance

From the information you provided, you are on the right path.  Member Access Profiles define the data users are able to view and/or enter.  In the scenario below, you will need to member access profiles as well as two teams.  You will also need to ensure that the task profile allows users to submit data.
Here are simple definitions I use with clients:
    - Task Profiles - define functions a user / team may access
    - Member Access Profiles - define data / hierarchy members a user / team may access
    - Team - combination of 1 or more member access profiles and a single task profile
I suggest starting with defining a task profile (e.g. Plan Contributor) that has the proper tasks.  Then define two member access profiles (e.g. East and West).  Finally, create two teams and assign users to each.
An important concept to remember that assigning users to multiple teams provides them with the broadest access across the definitions.  Thus assigning a manager to both the East and West teams would enable the manager to see/ work with both parts of the hierarchy.
    Good luck,
    Jeff

  • How to Restrict printing the document using IRM for a Single Document?Allow printing for some documents and restrict the printing for particular documents in same document library?

Can we able to Configure the IRM in Document Level in SharePoint Document libraries?
The document library contains multiple document sets , Can we restrict the printing according to document sets? Allow printing for some documents and restrict the printing for particular documents in same document library
     Is this possible?Please suggest.

Yes, that can be done. But note that all administrators will have the same right to print, so you need to make sure the users are not administrators. You can include a macro to disable printing, but if the users disable macro, they can print the documents.
Hence, there is no foolproof way to prevent printing documents. If you still need a foolproof security, PDF format provides password based security (viewing doesn't require a password) that can be implemented to prevent the document from printing,
which doesn't require any special scripts and is tough.

  • How to restrict the display of report variants

    Hello All,
I want t know how to restrict the display of report variants.
I mean, when a user saves a variant for his/her purpuse on some report program, only he/she can refer the variant while other users cannot.

  • Restrict the views in material master

    Dear Experts,
In Material master(MM01), how to restrict the views like Basic data2, General plant data storage2, accounting2 views in which we are not entering any data. How to restrict these views while MM01 creation, only useful views shall come.
These views(Basic data2,General plant data storage2, accounting2) are not dispayed in Logistic general/Basic settings/Material types/define attributes of material types.
where to restrict these views which are not useful while material master creation.
    Thanks for the reply.
    Regards,
    Dayanand

    Hi Dayanand,
Generally Main screens can be restricted at Material Type level. As But your requirement is regarding subscreen selection. This subscreen selection can be restricted in SPRO >Logistics General>Material Master -->Configuring the Material Master --> maintain User Settings --> View selection(Industry and Retail)
Here you can delete the Subscreen Assignment to the main screen for the users.
For Ex your screen sequence assigned is 21,Subscreen 8 is basic data2.
Subscreen 19 is General Plant Data / Storage 2,Subscreen 22 is Accounting 2
So delete these assignments.Take note that make changes in copied data only not the master.

  • When i double click on Mac HD the view has changed and my user name is no longer listed on the left. How can I reset this

When i double click on Mac HD the view has changed and my user name is no longer listed on the left. How can I reset this?

Do a factory reset .. nothing will be deleted from your backups and you will be able to get access to them again.
    The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel..  add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.

  • How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done

    Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
    Pls suggest best solution.
    Abhijit.

    Hi,
You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02

  • How the data is fetched from the cube for reporting - with and without BIA

    hi all,
I need to understand the below scenario:(as to how the data is fetched from the cube for reporting)
I have a query, on a multiprovider connected to cubes say A and B. A is on BIA index, B is not. There are no aggregates created on both the cubes.
CASE 1: I have taken RSRT stats with BIA on, in aggregation layer it says
Basic InfoProvider     *****Table type      ***** Viewed at      ***** Records, Selected     *****Records, Transported
    Cube A     ***** blank ***** 0.624305      ***** 8,087,502      ***** 2,011
    Cube B     ***** E ***** 42.002653 ***** 1,669,126      ***** 6
    Cube B     ***** F ***** 98.696442 ***** 2,426,006 ***** 6
CASE 2:I have taken the RSRT stats, disabling the BIA index, in aggregation layer it says:
Basic InfoProvider     *****Table Type     *****Viewed at     *****Records, Selected     *****Records, Transported
    Cube B     *****E     *****46.620825     ****1,669,126****     6
    Cube B     *****F     ****106.148337****     2,426,030*****     6
    Cube A     *****E     *****61.939073     *****3,794,113     *****3,499
    Cube A     *****F     ****90.721171****     4,293,420     *****5,584
now my question is why is here a huge difference in the number of records transported for cube A when compared to case 1. The input criteria for both the cases are the same and the result output is matching. There is no change in the number of records selected for cube A in both cases. It is 8,087,502 in both cases.
Can someone pls clarify on this difference in records being selected.

    Hi,
yes, Vitaliy could be guess right. Please check if FEMS compression is enabled (note 1308274).
What you can do to get more details about the selection is to activate the execurtion plan SQL/BWA queries in data manager. You can also activate the trace functions for BWA in RSRT. So you need to know how both queries select its data.

    Hi Jay,
    Thanks for sharing your analysis.
The only reason I could think logically is BWA is having information in both E and F tables in one place and hence after selecting the records, it is able to aggregate and transport the reords to OLAP.
In the second case, since E and F tables are separate, aggregation might be happening at OLAP and hence you see more number of records.
Our Experts in BWA forum might be able to answer in a better way, if you post this question over there.
    Thanks,
    Krishnan

  • Attaching Variable to the Library for Report Painter for Cost center report

    Hi,
I want to attach the Variable - "Cost element group" to the Library for Report Painter for getting Cost center report. The Cost center report should be cost element group wise with actaul, budget and variance. Please let me know the process.

    hi..
I think you have to first define Attribute mis as "V" in Cost element master basic data tab for the elements you want to capture as varible.
Then make a Cost element group / set in KAH1/GS01 and use it in your report.

  • Authorization restriction at Sales Office level

    Dear Gurus,
I need to restrict the user for all the sales transactions on the Sales Office level.
I mean the specific user should be able to create a sales order for the customer who comes under the Sales Office assigned to the user. User should view the sales order and invoice list for a specific sales office in VA05, VF04 also this is VF05N.
I tried to add the sales office field in std authorization object V_VBAK_VKO and did it but after completion of consistency check also the user was able to create a sales order for a customer belongs to the sales office other than assigned one.
For me it is mandatory to restrict the transactions and reports of SD at sales office level.
Please tell me if there is any way complete this restriction. Or to restrict the user from viewing the sales documents which are not created by himself only.
Your suggestions are also welcome. please suggest me.
