Restrict user not to modify the lead when status is CLOSED

Hi,
Is it possible to configure the system not to allow any modifications to the lead once the status is set to CLOSED (one of the user status)?

This is little interesting!
Now Im not able to set the REASON though we havent saved the lead
Initially problem didn't get solved as suggested. i.e., Business Transaction Control -> No Change Allowed (Set Influence to Allowed)
I don't know why?
But i'm able to solve by setting LNCH (No Change Allowed) for status Closed in User Status Profile (last column in the table i.e., Trans).
But now because of these settings as soon as i change the lead status to CLOSED before setting a reason it self system is internally making the lead 'transferred' and hence not saving the REASON.
How to configure the lead in such a way that: When i set the lead status CLOSED, i should be able to set the REASON for the corresponding status and should be able to save now. From next time onwards system should not allow user to edit the lead as the status is CLOSED.
Please suggest whether its possible with configuration. If not then i want to know why SAP reverting back the changes we are doing for lead "after setting status to CLOSED and before clicking on SAVE".

In infopath form, can we restrict the users to delete the attachments(multiple) which are uploaded by other users and one shold be able to delete the attachments which are uploaded by him/her self,

Hello,
This trick will work if you want to do for all users. Somehow you have to store the current user name, who has attached the files then hide show section based on user using conditional formatting.
Your job can be easy if only one person is uploading file in one form. In that case you can use UserName() function to get current user name and based on this name you can add rule on section.
But if multiple people are allow to upload file in same form then you are in trouble.

I am trying to configure JOB DOCUMENTATION in "Solution Manager / JSM", under tab "SYSTEMS" when assigning "Logical Components" on the bottom of this screen there is a table "Systems", when in this part trying to ativate "Monitoring" getting following error:

ACL does not correctly order the permissions when they are updated

Outlook Connector sjab32.dll 7.1.228.0 sjms32.dll 7.1.228.0 sjui32.dll 7.1.228.0 sjtp32.dll 7.1.228.0
Problem: We have identifed an issue with editing calendar permissions using the Outlook Connector. Basically the calendar ACEs are evaluated on a first match basic. Outlook Connector does not correctly order the permissions when they are updated. A brief example is below. Editing permissions via UWC works fine and will in fact fix any out of order ACE entries.
Basic calendar permission:
1.aces=@@o^a^rsf^g;@@o^p^rw^g;@@o^c^wdeic^g;@^a^sf^g;@^c^^g;@^p^r^g^
after adding user mab, Ace has now been re-ordered so that the everyone permissions are now before the owner permissions:

This issue is most likely related to bug #6471869 (Outlook Connector allows invites to users with restricted permissions). This has been fixed in the latest Outlook Connector 7.1_233 (aka 122018-09). I recommend logging a Sun support case to get a copy of this new release.

The ""not recognized for on-line use". error is associated with the Gracenote service that iTunes uses to look up and retrieve metadata for CDs. Some users have reported that this error occurs when trying to import from CD, subsequent to upgrading to version 12. A number of slightly different solutions have been reported (though all of a similar nature).
Try walking through the following steps - before starting you may have to enable hidden files and folders to be viewed - in Windows 7 / Windows Explorer select Organize > Folder and search options, then on the View tab make sure that Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected. Without this you won't see the AppData folder in C:\Users\username\
Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete the following files:
CD Info.cidb
com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If this doesn't work:
In iTunes, select Edit > Preferences and make a note (or take a screenshot) of your preferences settings in all relevant tabs
Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete the following file:iTunesPrefs.xml
Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If this second procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1.

If none of these have worked (and almost everything I've seen suggests you should be OK by this point), you may have an issue with the installation and configuration of iTunes itself. If you have got this far, see turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for advice on how to remove and replace of all components of iTunes.

BTW, you don't need an IBAction to show an alert; you just need to alloc/init it, show it, then release it. You can do this "inline," in any part of your code.

I have two fields with number of items dispayed = 15.
I have a vertical scroll bar with them. There are 34 records in the table but the scrollbar only shows 15 records.

HT4623 Has anyone had trouble installing 7.1 wirelessly on an ipad mini w/retina? I downloaded the update, but when I attempt to install, I get an error message saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am!

It downloaded fine, but when I attempt to install it won't verify, saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am! Tried on several wifi connections while plugged into power source. Any advice is appreciated!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Bookmarks that have both a keyword assigned to them and are set to open in the sidebar will not open in the sidebar when keyword is entered in the location bar. Why?

I am using version 3.6.10. Windows 7.
But I have had this problem for years.
Have the same result in a clean installation.
Have the same result in XP, also in a clean installation.
When creating a bookmark, you have the option to
1. add a KEYWORD, and
2.the option to check the box that says "load this bookmark in the sidebar."
If a bookmark has BOTH a keyword assigned to it AS WELL AS a checked box to "load this bookmark in the sidebar", then
1. it WILL NOT open in the sidebar when the keyword is entered in the locationbar.
2.It WILL open in the sidebar if you click on the bookmark directly from the bookmark menu, toolbar, or the like.
Is there any plan to fix this? Is there an extension to fix this? A patch to fix this?
It's kind of ridiculous that such a bug still exists.
more and more tech sites are advocating the time saving qualities of being able to load mobile and iphone sites in the sidebar - like gmail, google calendar, twitter, facebook chat, igoogle gadgets, widgets, meebo, and almost every other site either via it's mobile version or by converting an igoogle gadget or just using and iframe. it makes me nuts that I have to shove all my bookmarks that are sidebar-loading to be within view on the bookmark toolbar. help!

Both my iphone 4s and my ipad3 will not connect to the server when trying to access my email account. Why, and how do I fix it.

No. Everything was working fine and then it wasn't. I hadn't changed any settings or switched either one off. When the phone stopped working properly I ignored it because I always have my ipad with me but that just sopped working properly and now I am stuffed. I have tried most solutions suggested on here even wiping the ipad clean and re-booting. I did this exactly the same way as when I first got it but still no joy. The same with the phone.

Assigning human task to a user not exist in the ldap - actionable task by email address

Hello experts,
we have a requirement to assign a task to an external user (not exist in the ldap) to perform some action by allowing the system to send an actionable email.
Internal user will capture the external-user name & emailaddress in the task form. System should use this information and assign the task to the user by sending an actionable email. Our requirement is, these external users should not have access to bpm workspace, so we can not store the user information within the system.
Currently I have tried assign the task to an internal user (users configured in weblogic) and system sends out an actionable email and able to set the outcome of the task by replying to the email.
How can the same be achieved, without the user being in our system? Is it possible? I am OK to create a temporary user before assigning the task, but will be there be any impact if I delete the user after the task has been completed?

Assigning a task to a user that is not in the directory will likely result in the BPM flow going into suspended state. To avoid this, assign the task to a pre-created group, you should not get an error even if the group is empty. You can then add and remove the users to that group to control access to the task.

I use Mozilla firefox on my laptop and for some reason it keeps saying the connection timed out and I'm not connected to the Internet when I am. Why isn't iTunes recognizing my web configuration?

It probably has to do with your security and/or browser configuration.
When my laptop crashed last year and I had to get a new one, I dealt with the same thing. First, go to your control panel and select the security section. See if your firewalls are up or not. If they are, turn them off. If you have any software to speed up your browser, that can affect the connection as well. Go into that software and disble/turn it off. If this doesn't work, contact customer support. They have a few other tricks they had me try that worked, but I can't remember them now.

Just to be clear. You have downloaded the Yosemite installer. However you say while it's updating you get the error you are not online. This is confusing since you shouldn't be able to use your computer in the process of updating.
Exactly where do you see you need to 10.9 to get on Safari?
