Retain Modified Date after adding a column

I have a sharepoint list that has been in use for some time.
There are reports generated bases on "last modified"
As the site admin, I need to add a column to the list and then enter some values into the new columns.
But this changes all of the modified dates.
Any was to preserve this date?

If you are able to update the list items using PowerShell, you can use the SPListItem.SystemUpdate(false) method.
This will update the list item without changing the modified date / modified by information, and without creating a new version.

According to your description, you get this error when processing cube. Right?
As the error message mentioned, a table based on a named query cannot contain computed columns. If you create a computed column in this table, it will throw this error. In this scenario, please go to the DSV and check if that table is set up with named query.
You can replace it with a DimTable in your database.

IPhoto: Retain modified date&time details when re-importing

Instead of having all my photos in just one iPhoto library, I am now moving out photos into separate iPhoto libraries to better manage my photos:
... Export photos from existing/old library
... Re-import photos into newly-created library
Some of my existing photos have modified date & time (result of not checking camera clock after a service!)
Is there a way to retain these modified details when exporting photos from the OLD library and re-importing them into the NEW library?
I am really hoping not to re-edit the photo attributes

I am using iPhoto 6.0.6 I do not know of any option "modify original photo". Other than 'batch change' there is no option.

I xferred the pics from my camera to a new folder on my desktop. The times are all correct in that folder.
Again - how are you seeing that the time is correct? iPhoto looks at the EXIF data and the finder looks at the file data - how are you seeing the EXIF data on the desktop? EXIF viewer - http://homepage.mac.com/aozer/EV/index.html - is a useful utility to have to see the EXIF data
You can create a fresh plist - that might be the issue but I doubt it - quit iPhoto and in the finder to to "your username" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and delete it - launch iPhoto and reset any personal user preferences you have changed and if you have moved the location of the iPhoto library repoint iPhoto to it

Due to some issues with our servers i'm unable to make any SR's so i hope to recive some answers here instead while that issue gets resolved.
When looking in the colums "Added Date" and "Last Modified Date" certain activites have no dates there. When attempting to filter all the activities with a filter "Added Date Equals 'Blank' " ie all aktivites who do not have a date in Added Date, the results are 0 activites. I interpret this as the fields are not empty but for some reason the information is not displayed.

Have you created the Header Text? If yes, then might be the case that your smartforms
table which was already created is with Multiple Line. Check weather you have added
customer field in Header Line or Not?

Found errors in existing report after added a column in an existing table

Hi,
I have a Table called "EMP" and a interactive report "EMP_Details".
EMP table has data and it shows in the report.
EMP_Details report has two buttons. - 1.Create - it is used while inserting a new record into the table for a new joinee
2. Get_Info - it is used in case you want to know about an employee(there is a drop down to select the name os a employee) in details.
Till now the report was working fine.
Now What I did...
1. I did some edit in the values in the EMP table.
2. I added a new column in the Table and put some value in each row. Now the table was changed and the new values and column was reflected in the table.
3. so accordingly, I added the new column in the "Process" used for inserting a new record into the table and i selected the new column from the "Select column list" for showing it in the report.
Now what happened to report
1. I am getting the report for the old employees but what i made changes in the table.. it has not been reflected in the report.
2. The new column is shown in the report but the values I have put in the table have not shown in the report.
3. While inserting the data for a new joinee, the value can not be inserted into the table at all.
Appreciate, If anyone understands my issues and give any solution.

Sounds like you may have forgotten to 'Commit' your changes to the database . Go to the session where you edited the values of the EMP table and execute a 'commit'.

We are using Classic Scenario with ECC6.04.
We added 2 extra column ( Plant & Sto Loc) in the Source of Supply Tab in the SRM Shopping Cart.
I added these fields in webdynpro/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_SOS in the view V_DODC_SC_I_SOS
Appended these two field in the structure /SAPSRM/S_PDO_APP_SOS_VEN and added the logic to get plant and storage location
in WDDOINIT method.
When system proposes any B/E SoS ( Contract or PIR) it shows value of Plant or Sto Location from respective SoS in the respective Column correctly.
But when we select any Contract or PIR row other than 1st , then system throws below dump

Dear Rama
This error usally happens when you call an ITS transaction through SRM portal using SRM 7.0, which is based on Web Dynpro. This is a common error regarding customer fields and upgrade from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0.
It can also be a role issue. For example, the user that is getting the dump has an old role (SRM 5.0) assigned to him instead of a new role (SRM 7.0).

The sort is not coming from BEX but made directly in analysis (by drag and drop)
That's why you don't see sort icon.
I tried in Analysis for Excel but unfortunalty it's not possible to manage customized sort like in web.

Automatically update Data Flow when table column is added

Hi, I have identical SQL Server databases on Server A and Server B, and I'm trying to create an SSIS package that will update its own Data Flow task when I've added a new column.
When I open the SSIS package up in Data Tools after adding the column, I get the following warning: 'The external columns for OLE DB Destination are out of synchronization with the data source columns. The column "TestColumn" needs to be added to
the external columns.' So the package know when it's out of sync with the db.
Is there a way to automatically update the external columns?

Function to get the date after substraction

Hi Gurus,
I understand that the function "RE_ADD_MONTH_TO_DATE" is used for calculate the date after added certain month(s).
But, how do I do it in the other way. What I mean here is I want to substract the date.
For example my current date is 09.05.2008, substract 3 years is 09.05.2005.
All ideas and suggestion are greatly appreciated.

month = -36.

Archive/Move files based on Modified Date range to another Library Using PowerShell while retaining Metadata

I am trying to archive files from a SharePoint 2010 document library by moving them to another library that's a dedicated archive/folder/library. The files to be moved are selected based on their modified date column value that should range between any time

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

How do I keep columns from adding to a custom spreadsheet when I'm tabbing after adding info into each column?

I'm trying Numbers for 30 days and haven't been able to find out how to stop Numbers from adding additional columns to a custom spreadsheet I've created as I'm entering data in each cell and tabbing to the next. I want only a fixed number of columns across.

Actually, it works both ways.
If you press tab once after entering data in the last column, that confirms the entry and leaves the same cell selected. If you press tab a second time, Numbers adds a column to the table and moves the selection to the (new) cell to the right.
There's no way to turn that feature off.
But if you press return, either to confirm the entry in the last column, or as the second press (when you forget and press tab-once), Numbers will confirm the entry and move the selection to the cell below the one where you started data entry in the previous line:
This started out as an empty table with four columns. The keystrokes that led to what's shown were:
d, a, t, a ,tab,d, a, t, a , tab,d, a, t, a , tab, tab (column E added), d, a, t, a , tab,return (selection moved to B3)

Adding custom column to a Data Table (bound to database table)

I've added an additional "Output Text" column to an existing "Data Table" component, which is pulling a database table and rendering it. It's actually called "OutputText5". What I want to do, is set the value of the "OutputText5" dynamically, depending on a Date comparison between the system date, and one of the currentRow field values, which is actually an Oracle Date data type. basically I'm trying to use the Date.after() comparison and put different content in there depending on true or false evaluation.
Seems simple enough .. but.. I'm trying to do this without using vim and JSP Beans (how I'd usually do this). I'm not experienced with JSF components and how this would be done using JSC - can I iterate over currentRow or something inside the "Page1.java" source? Is there an easy way to create dynamic value bindings like this in Data Table components in general? Maybe using expressions in "OutputText5" properties or something? I figure I should ask about doing this the easy way, before I spend lots of time and start teaching myself bad habbits.
I apologise in advance if this is a repeat post. I spent some time searching ,but came up empty handed.

You have modified it, but why worry? The date shot does not change.
